Trouble comes in pairs

Synopsis:	Sayaka checks on Hinoiri after the latters recent near death experience. They talk a bit and discuss their new relationships, as well as new friends... amongst other things. All in all, they both seem to be doing pretty good.

Hinoiri Kirara has posed:
Hinoiri Kirara was in the library, because of course she was. Girl was what one might call an.... overachiever.

Others might call her a weirdo who needed to take a break now and again.

But she, in the end, refused such things. Breaks were for people without perfect grades. She had to DESTROY that AMI MIZUNO!

But, well... after nearly dying? She was uhhhh... still a liiiiittle shy about going out as Sunbreaker. She wasn't planning her next thing for a while and even had the black crystal stored in her bag. If it ever went off, she'd react to it. But until it did? She was taking some break and just focusing on school work.

Sayaka is as of now heading towards the library, having sent a text to Hinoiri to ask about her whereabouts. She had been worried about her ever since she accidentally discovered that Hinoiri got hurt in a confrontation with the darkened She-Ra.

When she spots the girl with the flame-coloured hair, she lightly pokes her shoulder from behind. "Hi, Hinoiri. I have heard it has been a rough day yesterday. How are you feeling?" the bluenette asks, the worry clear in her voice.

Hinoiri Kirara glanced up at Sayaka and gave a small wave before looking back at the book. "It sucked," she said. "But it's not the first time one of the sparkle skirts tried to kill me. Likely won't be the last. It takes a lot more than that to kill me, heh... ehh..."

Hinoiri gave a light shudder before sighing. "Though... it came... far too close. One of your lot had to save me. I... need to work on my defenses. Otherwise it might happen again. I've gotten sloppy. So... I guess I'm feeling annoyed. Angry. How are you feeling?"

Sayaka takes a long look at Hinoiri's face. Mainly because by Adora's reaction she imagined her being hurt still even after Mamoru did his thing. She has no idea how strong his healing is exactly. "Yes, I heard. I am glad Mamoru-san had been there for you. As for me, I am well, if you set aside the worry for a moment."

She stops the intense staring after that. "Try not to be so reckless next time, please. And if something happens in the Dusk Zone, I will be able to do something now. I will send Tramonto to find you, even if she has to burn her way there."

Hinoiri Kirara felt those eyes watching her. Studying her.

... Was it possible they were judging her? No... maybe. She had a lot to judge.

"I... I'll try. I don't try to be reckless. Ironically, this time I wasn't even trying to.... cause any trouble. She ambushed me. It was my fault for letting myself get ambushed. I'm probably underestimating all of you sparkle skirts. Heh. I..." She struggled for a moment, trying to find the right way to ask this, lightly chewing on her lip. Finally, she managed to say the words.

"Do... you... I mean... errrr..." Sheepishly she poked her fingers together.

"Tramonto. That... thing you summoned. Is it... me?"

Well, that will have to be enough. It's not like Sayaka is thinking Hinoiri is getting hurt on purpose. And she hasn't been one to speak either, even if she is now much better about it.

The question about Tramonto catches her by surprise. "She is not you, I guess you could say. She is clearly a representation of you as Sunbreaker, but you aren't tied together. And well, she has also been distorted through Klarissa's despair."

But she has an important question too. "By the way, my boyfriend has mentioned someone you have over there working with you. A shapeshifter that goes by the name of Double Trouble. Could you tell me anything about them? Can they really replace anyone with no limitations?"

Hinoiri Kirara has posed:
Hinoiri Kirara couldn't help but chuckle, reaching up to rub the back of her head. "Y-yeah. I guess... I did have a pretty big impact on you, didn't I? And Klarissa and..." She gave another sigh and shook her head.

"I hope in the end it turns out to have been a positive one."

The question about Double Trouble made her visibly flinch and take a sharp intake of breath. "Ah. That. That is a complicated subject. So... I'll say this. I am aware of Double Trouble. They're one of my closest... colleagues, I suppose, in Obsidian. That's fairly accurate, though. I can't really tell you much about them, though. It's kind of a... trade secret, I suppose? It'd be like me asking you what Madoka's weaknesses are. Well, the non-obvious ones. I can deliver a message from your lot to them, but that's about where I can end it. Revealing who they are, what they're up to? That'd... be going too far." Pause. "Though... I can at least say they shouldn't be targetting you. Professional courtesy and all that. They know you're important to me and not someone I want getting hurt. Past that, I hope you understand I can't say more."

Sayaka Miki has posed:
Well, Sayaka knows that Tramonto isn't exactly a flattering representation of her, and neither is Brillio, but she is not going to say that, since she is now rather more lucid. "You have impacted me a lot, and even with everything that happened, I don't regret the times we have been together", Sayaka says. "There is also a version of you that represent the everyday you, although she is not as useful as Tramonto in a fight. She is named Brillio."

And of course Hinoiri wouldn't tell her much about Double Trouble. She has a point, really, because Sayaka would in fact not tell her much of anything about Madoka. And in fact, she is not telling her that they have started their own countermeasures to Double Trouble. One thing surprises her though of everything Hinoiri has said. "Are they really willing to avoid me just because you asked them?" Sure, there was Riventon being willing to help Sayaka with Hinoiri's rescue, and Mami has her own friends over there, but the extent to which some things go still surprise her.

Hinoiri Kirara gave a small smile at that. "You really don't, do you? I mean.... regret it. Having met me? Despite all of the crud I put you through? I... I really don't regret our time together, either. I think I've learned a lot from you. A lot from this world. And... about what you said. When I return home? It won't... be goodbye. It'll be see you later. I don't intend to leave forever. I'll make trade lines and... other things. So... don't... think I'm in some kind of rush to never see you again. Okay?"

As for the question about Double Trouble? She gave a shrug. "I... don't honestly know. I know they'll be careful and likely not stop if you end up coming into one of their games. But I don't think they'll target you. I have... some leverage over them. Just a bit. And they know that causing too much damage to you would upset me, a lot." Then, slow, deep breath. "They... don't have anything over in this world, either. They'll likely come with me, to Kirakirafantastica. A more... magical world than this one. And they have no desire to enrage their future Sovereign, is all." Well, there was more to it than that... but she had no intention of outing Double Trouble.

Sayaka smiles at the assurance Hinoiri gives her. She doesn't know it will be enough to save Hinoiri from her own self-imposed danger, but there is at least that if she succeed in becoming a sovereign. "Take care until then."

Double Trouble coming to Kirarafantastica with Hinoiri only to serve under her does strike Sayaka as odd, though not so odd as to tell Hinoiri anything regarding that. Do they really have no ambition of their own? Bow did mention they were causing chaos until they calmed down to get into theater. Maybe she should mention that to Hinoiri. "Try getting them into theather at Kirarafantastica. They will really enjoy it." She says it with such a tone that it's clear she isn't just saying it because of their shapeshifting power, but that it's something they would actually enjoy.

Hinoiri Kirara gave a small nod. "I will. Don't worry." She glanced back at her work book. "And don't worry, I've got this handled. I'm on the precipt of glory, I just... need a a tiny bit more, then I've done it all. Trust me. Before long, I won't be your enemy at all. I'll just be that incredibly brilliant, charming and breathtaking person you once knew, who went on to become an alicorn sovereign."

She then glanced back at her again before smiling. "I'm happy you found a new boyfriend, though. I will be expecting pictures of the dress you choose... but I'll give you a few days after the date before I demand them."

She returned back to the book and nodded. "Yeah. Who would have thought a shapeshifter would have such a mind for theatre? They're really just a drama lizard, to be honest. Luckily, if there's one thing ponies love, it's a good theatre production. Sovereign Sora absolutely adored them, though she never participated. Probably would have worried people too much." Pause. "Probably good, that. I imagine she'd have been a terrible actress. I... have more studying to do, though. So... I should get back to it. I... I do appreciate this, though. You coming to talk with me. About it. And... checking in on me. I'm fine. I get occasional twinges, but nothing to worry about, I promise. So... just take care of yourself, okay? I'll be more careful going forward. I promise."

Sayaka nods when Hinoiri mentions she has to study now. She has gotten the reassurance she needed over her friend's situation (even if she frowns slightly about Hinoiri mentioning the twinges only at the very end), and with the Double Trouble matter out of the way, she really doesn't have any further reason to distract her from her studies.

"I actually already bought it", Sayaka confesses when Hinoiri brings up the dress. "I will send a picture of it when I am back to the dorm. Best of luck with your studies, and remember to take a break every once in a while." Sayaka is not sure if Hinoiri is actually good at that, but with a wave, she walks out of the library.
