A New Transfer Princess
Date of Scene: 03 July 2023
Location: Radiant Heart Academy
Synopsis: A new student is a little lost on the way to the gym.
Cast of Characters: Mio Morita, Adora Rainbowfist

Mio Morita has posed:
Its a quiet day here at Radiant Heart Academy. There are plenty of students coming and going. Most of them are making their way to their respective classrooms. The sky is blue and the sun is high in the sky. It is an ideal day to learn, that is for sure.

Amidst the sea of faces, a red headed girl is making her way through the crowd. The occasional person comes up to her asking for treats and giving her money for them. She happily hands what she has over to them as she continues to move. "I wonder what today will bring?" She asks to no one in particular. Its not like she goes out of her way to find adventure while at school. Goodness knows just a day or two prior she had more adventure than she'd ever experienced.

Adora Rainbowfist has posed:
It seems that the day will bring Adora. She stands out. She's 5'7", athletic and CLEARLY not Japanese. The blonde fidgets a bit in her new uniform, squinting at the small map of the school she holds in one hand. Lots of students stare as they wander past, and the girl sighs to herself, muttering to herself in some language that is certainly not Japanese.

She glances up in time to see the redhead, watching her curiously before she speaks up, her accent thick. She's new to the language, it seems. "Hey! Uh. Where's the gym?," she asks.

Mio Morita has posed:
Mio perks up as she is waved down. She turns to look at Adora and the first thing that comes to her mind is how tall she is. Goodness she hasn't felt this short since the last time she hung out with one of her cousins. She smiles to the tall girl and steps closer to her. "Hello!" Her own words are most definitely Japanese.

"Oh the Gym? Yeah you go through the big doors and then go left, then right, then left, then left again, then..." She trails off and giggles. "Maybe I should just show you." She states as she starts leading the way. "That is a different accent that you have. Where are you from?" She asks curiously as she leads the way. "My name is Mio by the way. Mio Morita."

Adora Rainbowfist has posed:
The blonde begins to follow Mio as she leads her through the school, tucking the school map into her backpack. "Where am I from? Bavaria!" She says that quickly, with strong certainty. "I'm an exchange student from Bavaria! I'm still learning Japanese. Sorry if...it is bad..."

She looks about as they move through the school, looking a bit overwhelmed.

Mio Morita has posed:
"Oh you are new! Have you gotten everything sorted with the office yet? You need to get your classes and such." Mio smiles as she keeps walking, turning down hallways as she goes. "Bavaria? That's really cool. I grew up here in Tokyo. Are you going to join any clubs?"

The shorter girl smiles as she keeps going. "This place is a bit overwhelming isn't it?" She asks curiously. "Its a really good school. You will learn a lot here." Mio states matter of factly. "The school is actually pretty new even though it looks old." She finally opens the door to the gymnasium. "This is where you were looking to go right?" She asks curiously.

Adora Rainbowfist has posed:
"I only got here a few days ago," the girl admits. "And yes, I met with the Headmistress and she got me sorted. Room, uniform...all of that..." She furrows her brow a bit, then, and glances over as they walk. "What's a club?"

"I grew up in a small town. Sort of. Yeah. Tokyo is just too much for me. The school isn't as bad but...it's so much." She takes a deep breath and reaches up to adjust her ponytail. She pauses and peeks into the gymnasium through the door. "...I think?"

Mio Morita has posed:
"They don't have clubs in Bavaria? That must be awful." She states and then begins to explain. "A club is a get together after school for students with common interests. Like I am a part of the HERO club. We help people out and do things for the community. Its really cool. There are so many other clubs. Like there is a golf club I think, baseball, lacrosse. There is even a gardening club and one for doing makeup." She laughs a little.

She peeks into the gymnasium and notes that no one is really in there. "Oh. You may have to go to the girls locker room and get changed with your class." She comments and starts walking towards the locker room.

Adora Rainbowfist has posed:
"Hero! I know that word! I...belonged to...uh. I was a hero back in Bavaria," Adora tries to explain. "What other clubs are there?," she asks, her interest piqued. "I don't know what those things are," the girl responds to the comments on the other clubs, then. She hmmms and shakes her head a bit.

She begins to follow the other girl along towards the locker room.

Mio Morita has posed:
Mio smiles to Adora, "How about we do it this way. What do you like to do?" She asks with a grin. "If we have a club that lines up with that, I should be able to tell you about it." She turns the corner and there are signs up. One with a boy symbol, another with a girl symbol, and a third that just says non-binary in japanese.

"Here you go. We are here." She gestures to the different rooms. "Just go into the one assigned to your gender and get changed up. All will be well. I have to get to my class. I have Math. Talk about boring right?"

Adora Rainbowfist has posed:
"Um. I...did a lot of fighting growing up," Adora says. "Wilderness survival. Tactics." It doesn't sound like the girl has spent much time having fun, if any. She hesitates as she glances from one sign to the next, and moves towards the female marked one. "Math. Ugh. Good luck with that. Thanks for the help. I'm Adora, by the way. Adora Rainbowfist."

Mio Morita has posed:
Mio winces, "It sounds like you grew up in Military School." She smiles a little. "There is a club that does camping and such. Its an outdoors club." She smiles about that. "And if there isn't a club that is up your alley, you can always see about making one."

"Oh! Nice to meet you Rainbowfist-san. I hope you have a good Gym class. I am Mio Morita. I think I already said that though." She giggles a little bit. "Have a good day, If you need anything else you can always look for me. I am happy to help."

Adora Rainbowfist has posed:
"Military school, yeah," she replies with a nod. "Other orphans and I." Her tone is a bit...uncomfortable, as if she's not a huge fan of the topic. She jumps on the next topic, then. "Ooooh. I want to join the outdoors club, for sure," she replies. She smiles softly then, at the introduction, and she nods. "It was nice meeting you...Morita-san? Have a nice day..." With that the tall blonde turns, heading into the locker room.
