Tasty Soda Acquisition Boy
Date of Scene: 07 September 2023
Location: Mitakihara Ward
Synopsis: Two TSAB agents meet and exchange information. Also soda.
Cast of Characters: Zephyr Windstar, Chrono Harlaown

Zephyr Windstar has posed:
Mitakihara Ward, one of the main concourses where plenty of foot traffic passes a rather innoculous looking soda cart. It has the logo of Jan Ken Pop on the side, a soda can with stylized pair of scissors on it, bracketed between two stylized hands, one clenched into a fist, the other held out flat. It has the symbols for Jan Ken Pop above and the english words beneath.

The cart is manned by a tall, clearly foreigner, 5'11", brown hair, mismatched yellow-green and purple eyes, and pale skin.

She calls out to those passing by occasionally, fishing for custom. "Cherryade, Lemonade, Cola and More! Guaranteed refreshing and delicious or your money back! Jan Ken Pop! Also visit our store location in Akihabara Mall, second floor, third shop along the west side!" She's hawking, but not aggressively so.

Chrono Harlaown has posed:
Chrono Harlaown was, well, searching. The remaining crew of the Arthra were... somewhere. He didn't know where, but he knew they were out here somewhere. And he, unfortunately, had very little subtlety. So he was in his barrier jacket, staff out and everything. He'd heard someone at the korma shop had seen someone matching one of their descriptions, the location of one of the lost members of the ship. Possibly.

He didn't know if it was true or not, but... he hoped. He even had a small poster in hand, which could be unfolded in order to show the faces. A simple, less magical way... but well... he'd keep looking. As long as it took.

So it wasn't that surprising when he went to one of the stand operators, walking over and... "Hello, ma'am," Chrono said firmly. "Have you by any chance seen anyone matching these individuals who came by your shop today?" he asked, unfurling the poster. "Particularly this woman?" he asked before pointing at a red haired woman in her thirties on the poster.

Zephyr Windstar has posed:
Two things happen quickly when Chrono comes walking up in his barrier Jacket. Those mismatched eyes turn sharp, locking onto him for a few moments then shifting to the offered picture. She inspects it for a few moments.

The second thing, is S2U would get a Device Ping. An active request for contact from another Device nearby.

Meanwhile, Zephyr shakes her head. "Can't say I have... Is there a convention in town I haven't heard about?" she asks, shifting to her Customer Service persona.

Chrono Harlaown has posed:
Chrono Harlaown blinked when he got the request. S2U accepted it, though he was wary. He had the crew person's device, so it wasn't them. Still, you never knew. Perhaps it was someone else. "I wouldn't know," Chrono said firmly. People just kept asking him that! Who was he cosplayed as, what was the convention. He'd finally just started saying he was an 'Enforcer mage' from 'Mage Ship'. Nobody had heard of it, but it got them to stop asking questions. Usually.

He had one weird person who asked if it was from the pre-expanded universe or rebirth by fire. No idea what that was about.

"Thank you for your help, sorry to bother you," he said before turning to head towards the next stall. Yes, he would ask all of them if he had to. If there was even a chance they were here...

Zephyr Windstar has posed:
Tenraikaze sends a simple message, it's a question: TSAB Enforcer?

Zephyr keeps the smile, there's too many people to hold a proper conversation, but she's content to let her Device give some hints to this new face.

Chrono Harlaown has posed:
Chrono Harlaown went to the next stand, bit by bit questioning... However, he sent a responce after a few moments.

<< Time spice administration bureau Chrono Harlaown. Who exactly are you? >>

He idly wondered if this was going to be an attack. The device he was communicating with didn't seem to be hostile, yet... but he didn't recognize the call sign, either.

Zephyr Windstar has posed:
Tenraikaze's response is more verbose. >Tenraikaze, Intelligent Device assigned to TSAB Enforcer agent Zephyr Windstar. We can't talk out here, but meet us when we close up for the day.<

Zephyr herself meanwhile is serving other customers, though her yellow-green eye can be seen side-eying the other Mage occasionally.

Chrono Harlaown has posed:
Chrono Harlaown narrowed his eyes. Another enforcerer? Here? On THIS planet? Oh, this just got more interesting. Did this mean he had backup? That another ship had arrived? Perhaps. << I'll see you then,>> he said through the device. Eventually, he had to leave of course. If they weren't here...

Then it was, possibly, a bust. Buuuut... perhaps, that night, they'd be here. He'd return around dusk, once the stands were starting to pack up.

Zephyr Windstar has posed:
Zephyr is still here. She's even waiting to pack up until the others have already gotten started so she's the last one here. With the crowds dispersing and far fewer ears to overhear, the tall teen gives a salute. "Agent Harlaown. Agent Windstar... I take it you're not part of a rescue team." she asks, likely dashing any hopes of her being his reinforcements.

Chrono Harlaown has posed:
Chrono Harlaown arrived later, only to discovered... Windstar? His eyes narrowed. "Enforcer Windstar?" Chrono asked. It took a few seconds but he confirmed. She wasn't part of the Arthra. Perhaps arriving for another reason entirely? "And well... I currently AM the rescue team." Was she stranded on this planet too? Just how many were there? Ho--

"How old are you?" he asked. How much longer did she have? Should he add her to the list? "How did you get here and how long have you been here?"

Zephyr Windstar has posed:
Zephyr tilts her head. "17, I was enroute to contain a Class-D Lost Logia on A-29913. Got pulled out of D-Shift when I passed too close to this system. Landed on top of the Akihabara mall a couple of months ago." she replies, rubbing the back of her neck. "Got a job, laid low and started sending out distress signals and reports, hoping someone'd respond." she chuckles dryly. "No dice so far."

Chrono Harlaown has posed:
Chrono Harlaown gave a small nod. Well, that at least confirmed some things. "I see. No, as far as I know no messages outside of this planet have been received. You have likely... two to three years left before you lose your magic and memories," Chrono said, already lost in thoughts, calculating. Planning. His own device communicating with the other, gathering information as he directed it.

"I'm currently pursuing the jewel seeds, a dangerous lost logia that could spell doom for this planet. I am also attempting to find and rescue the remaining members of the Arthra. I've taken up residence in RHA as a student while I attempt to find a way off this planet. I'll add you to the list of people I need to get off this planet," Chrono said, clutching his rod.

"... I never would have suspected another Enforcer here, let alone one with magic still. This may be exactly what we need. Have you been making contact with other magical people of this world?"

Zephyr Windstar has posed:
Zephyr blinks at this revelation, then gets thoughtful. "No wonder there's only ever been teenagers with magic here..." she remarks mostly to herself. She then nods, and pulls the medal-like Device off of its mounting on a bracelet on her right wrist. "Dee, if you would." The Device opens a holographic window and starts replaying its onboard 'gun camera' logs. "Several other magic users. Mostly young girls. I didn't get names for many of them but there's a few others with Device users here. Some of them locals."

As she speaks, she's displaying the transformed personas of those she's encountered. "I know a few of their real names and identities, but I won't be revealing that... not without their permission." she adds, as she shows Stray with her sword-like Mistofelees, Greta with her damaged Device, Mei and the other Precures she's encountered, Sailor Moon throwing her Tiara at a giant Bear-like shadow monster.

"There's also a few individuals that are using some tainted form of magic... I don't know how to explain it, it's like, magic that feels like it's dipped in ink." She doesn't have any uncorrupted footage for that, "Unfortunately Tenraikaze took some damage, the video logs got corrupted."

Chrono Harlaown has posed:
Chrono Harlaown lifted a hand to his chin, eying the information closely as it came through. Well, she'd been gathering information. Not as much as he'd expected, but she'd been trying. "No avenues for an escape yet?" Chrono asked softly. "I don't suppose you have any idea what is causing this 'veil'? My current hypothesis is a lost logia for unparrelleled power," he muttered. "Possibly a prison of sorts. And there's no need for their names. If they want to share who they are, they can. Otherwise, it shouldn't have any direct effect on the mission."

The name of 'Sailor Moon' made him cringe. Ah. Joy. Another planet captain. Just what he needed. It was a MOON, not a damn space ship.

"I've begun some research into dark energy as well, it's... weird. Sadly, we'd need an actual researcher for it. But... for now, our best bet is to learn of other magical people in this world and see if any of them do have some method of escape. Which... brings me to my next question. Should an opportunity present itself, do you still wish to leave, Agent Windstar?" he asked, glancing up at her.

Zephyr Windstar has posed:
"No method of escape I've found, but I've not really been looking that hard. You can only smack your face against the window so many times, to use a metaphor." replies Zephyr with a sigh. "I'd love to get off this planet, I would like to see my parents again someday."

Mismatched eyes turn from the hologram to Chrono again as the window closes. "If there was any chance of getting offworld... getting home? I'd jump at it without hesitation."

Chrono Harlaown has posed:
Chrono Harlaown nodded. "Then I'll add you to the list. For now, gather what information you can. Make allies, learn as much about this world's magic as you can. There's a way off this planet. There has to be. And we're going to find it and get everyone home safely. Away from... that. One of the magics here are the key." If they could fly planets around, there had to be some way to escape this prison without breaking things.

... It'd likely be one way. One small way. There was too much... everything... here. For there to not be a way. And he WOULD find it. Even if it took him the next six years.

He turned to leave, but then paused. "Precia Testarossa. She's after the jewel seeds as well. Avoid engaging her if you can. If you can't... she is an incredibly powerful mage. Do not engage her anywhere she has access to magic she can pull in. If it comes to it, do not hesitate. She is incredibly dangerous and will kill you. I'll keep in contact with you. And if you find any members of the Arthra, let me know immediately. Agreed?" he asked.

This was... good news. He hoped. Another enforcer. Another person he could count on. Even if she was still... even if she wasn't with the Arthra. More TSAB was always better.

Zephyr Windstar has posed:
Zephyr nods. "Precia Testarossa, avoid at all costs... make allies... Gather info. Got it. If I come across anything, I'll get Dee to ping you." she adds, lifting the medal back to its mounting and clipping it back into place.

"It's good to know there's at least another competant battlemage around... Stray's got potential but she's... she's still really inexperienced. Take care of yourself, Agent... oh!" she turns, dips into her cart and pulls a bottle of cola from the main compartment. "Here, for the road." she offers. it's regular cola with the Jan Ken Pop logo on the label.
