The term 'Linker Core' comes from Midchildan understandings of magic, but has propagated across both sides of those who understand magic exists, to replace several other terms (Heart Flower, Heart Seed, Pure Heart Crystal, etc) for the core part of a person that drives their emotions and (for magical people) gives them access to the magic of the heart. It is your Linker Core that is corrupted if you turn to Dark Energy, it is your Linker Core which becomes a monster when the Desert Apostles corrupt it, it is your Linker Core that is shot out of you by the Death Buster's strange rifles. In effect, it is the physical manifestation of your emotional health and magical power.

The method of using magic in some form to create spaces that are 'bigger on the inside than the outside' or spaces that 'overlap' other spaces in the same area. With this, Obsidian Tower is able to have far more offices than even its huge size would indicate, and the Shed is able to grow to a size great enough to accommodate the Mahou Shoujo's needs. Stacked Space isn't the Dusk Zone or another dimension; all Stacked Space is still technically in the 'normal' world.

Glossary

A note: While anyone can add to the glossary, and are encouraged to do so, I would like to keep this largely to terms that are functional to large numbers of players. So terms specific to a small group of players or one part of a theme may not be the right choice here; however, if those terms become used by the playerbase at large (Such as Linker Core) then it does.

Door System

Obsidian's Door System (always written with a capital D to distinguish it - standing for the Dimensional Oblate Offset Rendition, if you must know) is a method of fast travel across the Four Wards area of Tokyo (and potentially other destinations), which is useful given the difficulties of using the Dusk Zone for on-target travel. This magic system is powered by the Tenebrous Reactor, and not all DOORs are truly 'normal doors' - for instance, of the vehicle-sized Doors, one opens up at the bottom of a lake, and another opens up at a facility in the Animal Kingdom Zoo. For human sized Doors, some may open to shed doors or back doors, but it's just as likely to cause you to step out of a display cabinet in a crowded department store. Essentially, the exits and entrances are whatever seems appropriate for the scene, but do allow Obsidian members to arrive at places without needing to fly over Tokyo to do it, given that Duskporting is hard for most to target anything other than Clover Tower and Obsidian Tower accurately.

Linker Core

Sparklesquad

    • Sometimes also: Sparkler, Sparklesquaddie, Sparklers, and similar terms.**

A derisive nickname used by (mostly) Obsidian members to refer to magical hero types in groups.

Stacked Space

The method of using magic in some form to create spaces that are 'bigger on the inside than the outside' or spaces that 'overlap' other spaces in the same area. With this, Obsidian Tower is able to have far more offices than even its huge size would indicate, and the Shed is able to grow to a size great enough to accommodate the Mahou Shoujo's needs. Stacked Space isn't the Dusk Zone or another dimension; all Stacked Space is still technically in the 'normal' world.
