Magical Girl Types

Rather than group characters into 'Themes' or 'Casts', we group them into Magical Girl 'Types', that is, by what kind of magical girl they are. Wether that's a Sailor Senshi, a Pretty Cure or, something called a Guardian Girl or Mage Knight, whatever they may call themselves. We group characters this way, because it allows the character to shine more, and interact with others easier- rather than worry about cast and theme interaction alone and by itself. It's meant to increase inclusiveness.

A Type of magical girl will have the following aspects as a part of their creation:

A Focus: Where does thier power come from? For example, a Pretty Cure's power typically comes granted by a fairy, mascot, or guidance figure giving them an item that allows them to transform. A Sailor Senshi have thier wands and thier Sailor Crystals that belong to them. What does your magical girl use? Is a pendant given to them by a mascot-creature? An artifact that strangely found it's way into their posession? A talking wand that allows them to turn into a magical phantom thief?

A Style: Most of magical girls of a type will have a similar form of style, in dress and in how they fight evil. For Sailor Senshi, that's thier fukus (Or dashing Tuxedos, if youre Tuxedo Kamen!) who fight with with magical projecticles or physical combat. For Pretty Cures, it's basically entirely magical physical combat in pretty dresses. What kind of style does your type of magical girl have? Do they don magical armor and fight with glowing, magical weapons? Do they don dresses and fight with magical martial arts? Do they summon magi-tek armor and slide on in thier transformation sequence--- and fight by slinging magical love lasers?
