Zoisite had an idea that would solve many problems.

He was pursuing it by sitting alone in a dressing room of some theater or something somewhere, with a copy of the student directory that listed all of the students registered at Radiant Heart Academy, along with a photo that was used for their student I.D. Also on the bureau, there's another list, with two columns. Zoisite is sitting in his purloined actor's chair humming a jaunted tune to himself as he compares the book to the lists.

One has a column of student names as they appear in the book, the other has a list of identified Enemies who have shown themselves. The Mahou Shoujo and Shounen who introduced themselves have an actual name listed, while the rest just have a nickname.

Nephrite and Jadeite mentioned disposable agents taking a crack at the defenses. But Zoisite is going one further, inspired by Jadeite's threats the other night.

He crosses off another name with a tube of lipstick.

You see, if students start getting hurt, or go missing, or just have a stomach flu, and Magical Girls and Magical Boys still show up regardless, that name can be written off as probably not one of the Enemy.

No serious harm. Nothing for the academy to investigate. No visible marks for the cameras. Of course, just being marked off one list doesn't mean one isn't going to be investigated. There are all sorts of reasons someone might still be an Enemy even if they were laid low by mundane inconveniences temporarily.

That's where Hematite's Wretched Wraith comes in.

No one likes being haunted. Not a mortal, not a youma, not a Hero, or a Villain. It's one of those universally unpleasant experiences. Even ghosts don't like being haunted by other ghosts. So, stage one of the plan is, 'Make sure someone isn't going to be active for a while, and see which Mahou don't show up for the same amount of time.' Step two is, 'Confront them with something terrible enough that if they're still capable and just hiding it, they'll have to act -- out of self-defense, if not out of defense of friends, family, and home.'

Zoisite crosses one leg over the other and his tongue sticks out a little bit as he concentrates on making his list. And he'll be checking it twice! Haha, so funny. A little Dark Energy in the lungs or stomach -- just the smallest amount to agitate the immune system -- will impair one of these names and faces just in time for one of the worst things that's ever happened to them.

And how useful it is that there's a ghost on staff now, thanks to Hematite. She was looking for a way to be useful, too!

Zoisite's smile widens as another name is marked off in ruby red lipstick.

"I like to think I'm a helper." he says as he giggles to himself.
