Not a huge amount is known about Melona Mizu before she came to japan, just that she transferred from germany and basically absolutely refuses to talk about her life there. Not that many people are willing to ask with her reputation for becoming violent at the drop of a hat if someone upsets her. In spite of this reputation, Melona is a relatively calm and even almost friendly person on the surface in day to day interactions, even helpful if someone asks her for a favor or to do something for them within reason. Now, about that past that she refuses to talk about. Melona Mizu was involved in an 'incident' involving a witch, though the official explanation is that she and a group of other girls had ended up trapped in a collapsing building, and she was the only one to miraculously survive. Since then, she is said to have been different, a lot less friendly, a lot more angry, and weirdly stronger. Only one other person knows the actual truth, and that was the Puella Magi who had instigated the event when she noticed a small group of other girls weren't completely lost in a Witch's labyrinth, and she decided to see which ones had any potential to become a Puella Magi, eventually resulting in Melona being the only one to come out the other side alive, changed, as the Puella Magi, Misery Melon. The trauma of that incident made her decide that nobody was ever going to take advantage of her again, and that she would do whatever it took to live a happy life, regardless of what anyone else thought. And with a monstrous strength and a flail that she can change to any size at will, well... she has a feeling nobody is going to be able to stop her.

Tea Time at Mami's Episode 1207: Orange Pekoe and Tea Biscuits	February 29th, 2024	Melona shows up on Mami's doorstep with Kyubey and some rather consequential news about the nature of Puella Magi and their relationship to witches. Just like the last shocking revelation, Mami takes it surprisingly well, with only a small bout of unhinged, evil laughter, and a recruitment pitch.
A Weird Storage Request	February 25th, 2024	A fortuitous encounters leads to Sayaka getting to know the professional behaviour of the Puella Magi known as Misery Melon, and gives the bluenette a chance to make a weird request, an important development on the way to save those that are victims of injustice.
Time to go home	February 14th, 2024	Klarissa has become the Witch Oktavia, and despite the chances being against them, this isn't a battle to eradicate the threat she represents, even as Kyubey pushes them towards that choice, but to rescue her.
