When Beryl sent her victims into the portal, she didn't intend for them to return. One of the weapons she has for that is one she hasn't managed to seize again in the present. This phase of the warp, this bubble in the twisted flow of this prison dimension, centers on the moment in which one of Beryl's lieutenants stole enough energy to bring their Great Leader to its full power. In other words: the transported mahou are trapped in a city which Kunzite, driven out of sanity by Beryl's gifts of power and lies, is about to consume whole. All they have to do is survive till the world warps again around them, and drops them into a new moment of the past. ... all. (Open to all in the past who'd like to come. Please note that Kunzite at this point is in his painfully overpowered state, and direct attacks are likely to only be distractions; victory condition this time is not beating the villain so much as just *getting through*. If you like survival and cleverness, or want reasons to be angrier at Beryl, this is a scene for you!) |
