"Ow!" Takashi yelled as he tried to slip his lab coat on. Embedded in a few spots in the arm were little sewing needles. "Well, I guess this means it wasn't Cyprine..." he mumbles to himself as he closes his locker.
Looking from around the corner, Viluy's blue-haired visage comes into view. "What wasn't our former colleague, Agera-san?" she asks.
Takashi opens his palm to show the needles. "See? Someone's been doing little tricks like this to me for a while now." he says.
"Strange." Viluy notes. She's got an idea of who's been that annoyed at Takashi for a while. "But you know, on the subject of things I find strange, Agera-san, is you not only looking at all of our documents - including ones on projects you're not assigned to - but downloading them?" she asks, quirking an eyebrow.
"You know, I just got access to reams and reams of new information, Viluy-san. New projects, new theories, new information. Maybe I can help with some project like I did the Heartstealers, or there's information that can help me in one of mine. I didn't access anything I wasn't permitted to." The boy in the labcoat responds, leaning against the lockers.
"No. But you did 'download' all of the data. That's a little weird, I'd say." Viluy replies, crossing her arms.
"That's because your network over there is slower that molasses on a winter day. I think at some point your ethernet cables get replaced by carrier pigeons. Plus, it's much easier to work with the data once my systems have categorized and collected it. It's not going anywhere but my work systems." he notes, quirking an eyebrow back at her. "What's your deal? Of all the Witches you used to be the one who seemed the most chill with me." he asks.
"Don't do suspicious things and I won't be suspicious, Agera-san." Viluy notes. "People have been on edge ever since what happened to Cyprine. Now isn't the time to act out of order." she says. "You're already bringing a sparkleskirt around and making your own choices on teammates, after all. Don't abuse your new privileges. Just because you got a title bump doesn't mean you're really one of us." She warns him as she turns to walk away.
