Veronica Perenna It has been a while since Veronica had shown up to anything, but she had her work cut out for her, trying to make sure that the 2 new paintings that she found herself obligated to requisition had nothing unstable about them. Considering the several wild factors involved in the complex spell that affected their nature, one would say a few months is quite a short time even. Now that she understands the situation she is in, she can at least branch out again and take charge in helping protect Tokyo again.

She has decided she would go back to Penguin Park at a certain point in her round as soon as she got done with her job, because she saw a composition that was worthy of being turned into a painting with a few birds exhibiting a beautiful plumage with a backdrop of a clean, placid sky. She has finished painting a general shot of the environment, and now she is taking care to enrich her depiction of the birds.
Cure Wing The park was a good place to just relax and spend some time. It was also a great place to feed the birds. Having picked up a bird mix that had corn, bird seed, suet and small dried fruits in it, Tsubasa had made his way to the park, looking to just settle for a bit. He has a book tucked under his arm, and it's clear his day was going to be spent reading and feeding the birds.

As he takes a seat, he opens the bag of seed to start scattering about, when one of the colorful birds starts to chirp at him, a bit of bird song. There's a tilt of Tsubasa's head and he smiles a little. "Of course I remembered the dry fruit this time. There's a bit of apple and some banana chips and kiwi." A few small whistles and chirps and he tosses over some before there's another chirp and he glances over at the girl doing the painting. "Yes, I think she's caught your good side."
Veronica Perenna Veronica doesn't pay it any mind when one of the birds scampers off to chirp at the boy feeding them. There are more than enough of them left for reference, and she doesn't have much longer to spend on them, so a few more could wander away and it wouldn't be much of an obstacle. She can still fill the rest in with what she remembers.

She doesn't pay much attention to the fact he is peeking at her painting. After all, she has things to do right now, and he is probably a bird aficionado or someone roughly of that ilk anyway. Not turning away her eyes from the painting, she addresses the stranger talking to the bird like it is a pet and indirectly comment on her painting. "I do like catching good sides, yes. Is it not a waste to leave the wonders you see not captured and immortalised?" she smiles.
Cure Wing Tossing out the rest of the seed for the birds, Tsubasa rises for a moment to come over to take a better look at the painting. "I was not being offensive of your painting." he offers politely, his cheeks show a hint of red - at least the one cheek that isn't covered with his ahego hair.

"You are quite talented." is his comment. Though he is no expert on paintings or an artist. But he does appreciate the fact that she's painting the lovely birds. "Birds are pretty amazing animals, it's true." he agrees. "And much better when caught in flight. Especially those, with their colorful wing spans. It's like a rainbow in flight."
Veronica Perenna Veronica raises an eyebrow when the stranger approaches her, and then ''apologises'' for offending her painting. Is he alright? To say that is an odd remark to make doesn't even begins to cover it. "I didn't think you were being offensive. You like birds, right? That's nice, feel free to look at my painting all you like, and let your enthusiasm soar!", she invites him. If she didn't have her hands full, she would brought the painting closer herself.

Veronica nods pleased when Tsubasa starts explaining the virtues of birds. There really is nothing better than receiving food for her art right from other people's minds. "I will be sure to aim for those moments then, Tsubasa-san. I just need to take a photo, and those explosions of colours will make for a great painting, the vivid expression you seek right on the canvas to be admired at leisure."
Cure Wing Offering a shy smile, Tsubasa nods. "Birds and aviation are two of the things I enjoy, yes." he explains as he tucks his hands behind his back. There's another glance at the painting. "I don't know about taking a picture though. I think if you express yourself more through your imagination it will be much more lively and creative?"

He glances towards the birds and grins a little. "They're a lively bunch, but they enjoy being admired, I think. They definetly enjoy being fed." he admits with an amused chuckle as he scuffs his foot on the ground. "Anyway, I was just curious - well, they seemed curious, so I wanted to see what you were doing!"
Veronica Perenna Veronica waves nonchalantly at Tsubasa. "That would be a different type of painting from what you wanted, is it not? I can still enrich the details with my touch, but the greater painting would follow your indications of those birds in flight. Is that not what you would appreciate, seeing your bird friends immortalised with precision?"

Veronica's attention zeroes in on that 'they seemed curious.' It wouldn't be weird to assume that they had some body language he could interpret, but that doesn't really mean he would be able to zero in on her so quickly as the cause. "I can see why they cling to you, with how nice you treat them. And you must be really gifted, to know what they feel so precisely. By the way, I am Veronica Perenna."
Cure Wing "Nice to meet you, Perenna-san. I am Tsubasa Yunnagi." Tsubasa offers politely as he shrugs his shoulders. "More difficult, maybe. More true to yourself? Definetly. I mean, the great painters drew from imagniation, right? Like... except for the Mona Lisa or something, I guess. But I think it would add a bit of yourself to it."

"Oh, they're easy to read." Tsubasa offers. "I grew up around them." he explains. "Plus I bring them the best snacks." he admits with a small duck of his head as he goes about to feed them the rest of the seed cakes he brought. "I want to fly someday. Just to... be among the clouds and travel. It's amazing."
Veronica Perenna Veronica smiles when Tsubasa is concerned about the difficulty of drawing by imagination. "Friend, don't worry about the difficulty, I have lots and lots of experience. I can easily carry out your request. So, if you don't require your bird friends in the painting, that's all right to me."

She then uses her arm to do a wide and flowery gesture around herself, accompanying it to her words. "You have surely heard of Monet. He was one of the proponents of the en plein air technique, which involves painting what you see, not what you imagine."

She raises an eyebrow at the notion he would have gotten as much as he did earlier out of simply looking, but if he doesn't want to come out with it, he can keep his secret. She instead focuses on Tsubasa revealing his dream. "That sounds awesome, Tsubasa-san. What steps are you taking to making your dreams a reality?"
