Scene #1003: Mall Crawling

Rei Hino	It's snowing. It's been doing so on and off for a while. It's Winter after all. Rei is all bundled up in a dark-red winter coat, with a burgundy scarf around her neck, a long skirt, black leggings, and sneakers. Her hands are stuffed in the pockets of her coat as she waits outside at the designated meeting point for whomever is coming. It was unclear. Ami, certainly, but it was an open invitation. Rei has opened up so much since she met Usagi and Ami. But there's still room to grow. Meeting new people will help with that. Her long black hair and eyelashes are dusted with snowflakes. She blinks away the latter, and is unaware of the former, except when they start to melt. The evening air is crisp and cool. This is fine, sometimes.
Ami Mizuno	Ami Mizuno was working on opening up more herself. As Setsuna had pointed out to her recently, she was more than caught up with her schoolwork that she could actually take a break. Usagi was also good at pointing out when she needed to do so, thus she was... trying to take a break. The offer of hitting up the mall is readily accepted whether or not many of the others might make it. She hadn't much time to spend with Rei yet to begin with so this was the perfect opportunity. Wearing a blue puffer jacket, jeans, and some proper Winter boots so that the sludge of snow on the streets doesn't chill her feet, Ami approaches to wave cheerily at Rei. "You weren't waiting too long, I hope? It's such a nice night out. The snow falling through the lights is so pretty." Leave it to Sailor Mercury to like the snow.
Zephyr Windstar	Purple. Lots of purple. Zephyr's wandering around the mall in a big purple jacket, a purple beanie hat, purple scarf and... jeans. That are blue. Hey it's hard to find purple clothes that aren't some weird gimmick... or made by Dark Energy users to suck the joy out of people. Mismatched eyes lazily scan the crowd, until they lock onto a familiar looking face. She stands, towering over all but the tallest men in the mall, and makes a sauntering way over closer to where Rei is, and Ami by proxy.
Rei Hino	Rei turns and smiles when she sees and hears Ami. She waves back. "My nose isn't red yet. I don't think I've been out too long." She does like the snow, but she has to admit she likes being warm quite a bit as well. Violet eyes scan past Ami's shoulder, seeing someone else following after her. She doesn't make any assumptions, it's just something she noticed. He started over after he saw the two of them. "Friend of yours?" Rei asks casually. Perhaps soon to be a new friend of Rei's.
Ami Mizuno	"I'm sure you know ways to warm up, Rei-chan," Ami remarks in an attempt at a joke. She was workin on her sense of humor after all though it wasn't quite there yet. She's about to suggest going inside when the question comes of a friend of hers. That earns a clueless blink from the smart bluenette, and she turns to look over her shoulder. There's no real sign of recognition at the purple-mass that was Zephyr making her way closer. A slow shake of her head comes, though she points out, "No, though we are in a rather popular area," she points out reasonably.
Zephyr Windstar	Adjusting her scarf, to reveal her face a bit more, the giant of a young woman offers a wave. "I think I recognize you two. At least as part of groups coming to and from the Academy." she offers a smile. "My name's Zephyr. Zephyr Windstar. Windstar's my family name." she offers. She might be familiar if either have visited the soda vendor that sets up near the Academy.
