Owner Pose
Hannah Steiner Late last night, Hannah stumbled into the dorm room she shares with her favorite bluenette with the groans and exhaustion that speaks to a very, /very/ difficult fight. And while she was physically none the worse for wear? Despite the pair knowing their magical origins now, she was so worn out mentally and emotionally that any questions that might have been shot her way? Were answered with vague grunts and Hannah collapsing into her bed.

BG had the good grace to chuck Ami's phone a message, simply, 'Tomorrow' in Belkan. Lyra looked better than her owner, but not by much.

The next day, Hannah more or less sleep-walked through classes, enough so that after third period, one of the kinder teachers simply sent the clearly exhausted student off to rest with a note.

By the time Ami returns to the dorm, Hannah is lavished in her thick blue robe, pillows stacked behind her as she leans against them in her bed, that strange little Storage Device she's always kept, fingers dancing along it in rhythmic patterns. Click. Click. Click. Click.

Her attention is clearly on the Device, and deep in her head, so much so that the usually attentive Steiner doesn't even notice Ami walk in.

Lyra gives a little whuffle, likely some sort of plea to knock her owner of this odd funk she's found herself in.
Ami Mizuno Ami Mizuno wasn't the sort to leave someone groaning so pitifully and she was still wide awake working at her desk when Hannah came in. Even though there had been no intelligent conversation she at least does her due diligence of helping out her roommate by offering over some Tylenol and a bottle of water. It wasn't much but it would perhaps help. Then, she agrees with BG's message simply by responding 'Make sure she takes the medicine and drinks water.'

Ami's arrival back at the dorm today is met with a pat down against Lyra's head and a soft sigh. Plus a quick look over at Lyra's food area to make sure the poor Razorhound has been fed. As good as Lyra was she didn't want to know what would happen if she started starving.

"Did you feed Lyra already, Hannah? And *yourself* as well?" she asks while moving over to set her bag down by her desk and shrug out of her jacket.

"If you need help with anything, even if it's just rubberducking, I'll be happy to help," she offers over. It's questionable if Hannah even knows what Rubberducking is.
Hannah Steiner "Was...?" Suddenly starts Hannah as Ami speaks, very nearly dropping the little Device, before setting the precious thing back on her purloined desk. Lyra whuffs again after leaning into Ami's petting, and whaps Hannah on the leg with her tail.

That further helps lift her from just being all inside her head. There's a world outside that place. And there's room for a lot more than just her dour thoughts.

"By the Sankt, I must have given you a fright mein freund, I..." A groan, she runs her hands across her face, and finally decides to just tilt over onto the bed with a sigh.

"Ja, Lyra all but dragged me, but ja und the medicine helped. I should explain." Starts the young woman. After a moment of working her mouth, another shake of her head.

"Nein, mein head is all glass. You first, Ami. How are you und the affairs of the senshi going? I fear mein own affairs have been taking me away from assisting you all." There's guilt in her voice.
Ami Mizuno Ami Mizuno watches Hannah with a bit of amusement as she finally starts to drag herself out of her thoughts. She'd certainly been there herself before so she gives her the time needed to come around on her own after the gentle prompting.

"I'm glad the medicine helped. You looked as if you really needed more, but I thought that would at least help a bit. As for me?"

"There's been some more crystals that have appeared which apparently allow youma to posess the minds of actual people. We're calling them Rainbow Crystals." A pause as she smiles softly, "If the name holds true, we have most already, thankfully." What else was going on? "The Shittenou that we rescued, Mamoru-kuns men, are doing well and going to be rejoining school this next semester so I've been helping to prep them for that. Oh, and then there's the Princess Prom coming up?"
Hannah Steiner The news actually has Hannah cracking a smile, despite the actual content. "Acht, well of course! Your widom, Usagi-chan's heart und strength...Come to think of it, I seem to recall the very strong one with the lightning, ja? I really need to meet you all as a group properly. Long overdue." She rubs her chin.

"Good. I should like to meet them all as well. ...Und I am overdue with crossing blades with Herr Chiba, for that matter. He is a good young man in mein experience, even when he was..." a shrug.

"Und I want he und his companions to be happy. All of them." For a brief moment, she almost looks happy at such thoughts.

Then, there's a long breath, and she tries to drag her own thoughts together.

"Last night a Device User cast a sky of one of our vassal planets, Tungeturn, over this one. At first I mistook it for Tharkad, but the 'Shield Princess' disabused me of the notion." Comes Hannah, before she explains.

"A mining planet, for a very useful sort of crystal coveted by the Time Space Administration Bureau. It seems she blames mein House for over-extraction und a lack of sufficient support. Und before you ask, no, I do not have the yield reports to determine if what she says is true or merely an aggrieved daughter of a local defense force looking to vent her wroth." A shake of the head.

"Und she blames me personally for leaving Tharkad after mein Unkle. I named a Regent, one I trust in mein absence. Tasked the Royal Army with quelling the remaining rebels in our vassel planets, und left after him." Comes the young woman.

"The worst part is? I do not know if she is traitor or loyalist? And that I cannot help but wonder if she was correct, und coming to this planet was a mistake." Admits the young woman.
Ami Mizuno Ami Mizuno grows quiet as Hannah starts to explain what happened to her. The mention of vassal planets, of mining, and other such things was of course suitably interesting but none of the names were familiar ones. It was from somewhere infinitely further away than she had ever dreamt of before.

"That does sound like an issue. And she came here, too? Was she following you, or is it just coincidence? If you know at all," she has to add realizing that this may not be something that Hannah is yet privy to.

"I'm sure all of them would like to meet you in a friendlier setting as well," she adds a bit after a moment of thought about the prior remarks. She'd just been focusing on the one that was most troubling Hannah. "And of course you know if you need our help with anything, we'll be glad to assist where we can."
Hannah Steiner "Mmm. She mentioned pirating und her ship was...unwise to travel in, but according to her she had none other. Her parents were victims - I do not know if they are dead or merely jailed or disgraced - of the fighting to quell those still in mein Unkle's camp against mein family. One part of me thinks she may be after meinself specifically. But it could very well have been an accident. She did not explain. A rickety ancient ship, the effects of this local space..." A shrug. Its' a wash, it seems.

There's a frown. "She had an opportunity to kill me. Und yet, she did not do so." There's a humorless little smirk.

"Strange, ja? For one with such a grudge...und I know of no Usagi Tsukino in her life to beg her to spare her enemy." Her laugh is...not well.

Thankfully, happier things are something Hannah's going to cling to. "Right now, mein freund? That friendlier setting with all of you would be wunderbar. I could more time with freunds und less viciously fought political grudges." Admits Hannah.
Ami Mizuno "That sounds like a good idea. It seems like you could use a break... And I probably could as well, admittedly. I haven't gotten much sleep lately with all the work I've been doing," Ami has to admit with a little sigh as she reaches into her pocket to fish out her phone.

"How about we order something in to eat tonight? There's plenty of places that deliver to the school. It's not much," she adds uncertainly, "But it might at least allow you to relax a bit more for the time being. I could probably use something healthier than sandwiches too."
Hannah Steiner And /that/ gets a proper laugh from Hannah. "Und there we have it! The truest wisdom of the great Sailor Mercury! When one despairs, local delivery und...acht, how about this? You choose what we shall eat tonight!" Starts Hannah, before she gets up, and hauls herself with a bit of help from Lyra over to the couch to just....crash back, kicking back the reclining part, and letting her body finally start to untense.

"Und I choose a movie. Something ridiculous, like that one about the sharks und the tornados, or that one about the crazy bear!?" Suggests Hannah. Either way? It...seems like Hannah isn't going to move from the couch for a while. Especially when Lyra takes up her tradition position as blanket over...well, a vast majority of the couch.

There's gonna be so many feathers on them both.
