The singer and current 'public enemy #2' in his book, after Sunbreaker. He rolled his eyes as he stood around near a tree somewhere near the zoo, but not in it, where he agreed to meet Utau via text. He is not thrilled about taking Utau to the prom. He had called it an oblidate. This made his dad happy, it wasn't like they we're dating, he'd taken other girls for some of dad's friends before places so merely spoiled brats wouldn't be alone. To Hinote this was no different than those. And thusly, he was here, Dressed in a dark red sport jacket, white undershirt with a black tie and similarly colored slacks in the same shade of red. Tracy, the detective chara, is dressed in hi yellow coat and fedora, on a stakeout behind the nearby lamppost watching from a distance with a pair of binoculars. He...isn't that far away.
Utau Hoshina	Utau Hoshina already has a date, thank you Hinote Kagari. But she's taking both boys. Why? She deserves two boys. One she likes. The other? He might be one of those jerks that dislike her a lot. She doesn't know yet. Maybe he might be ugly and she'll drop the entire thing. But what if he's hot!? When she arrives, she notices the boy and the way he's dressed and the boy, himself. Oh no. He's hot. That may be a problem and it causes a blush to crest on her face just for a second before she reminds herself. Right. Oblidate. Nothing more. Get this done. She pulls at the side of her poofy disguise hat and approaches as she crosses her arms. "Kagari-san?" she asks, underneath the tree. "I'm Utau Hoshina." she winks. "In disguise." Then she squints a little. "Have we met before?" she asks a little softly. He seems passingly familiar. But she can't place the face right now. Il and El? currently not here. Or are they? It's hard to tell. There's rustling in the trees. Il has her own pair of binoculars. (She also, is not very far away.)
Hinote Kagari	Hinote Kagari regards Utau Hoshina politely, since he isn't approached with hostility. This makes him assume that Utau doesn't remember him, which is good. That was a chaotic museum night. He flashing one of his winning actor smiles, and says. "Hoshina-san." he says. "Hello." she says. "I apologize that my father knows your producer and decided this was a good idea. I figure we just go, we have a dance and we leave and that's that." he says as politely as he can. "I didn't have a date to begin with so it's nice not to go stag I think, but like..." How to tell a famous starlet 'you're not interested because I dislike you try to ruin people's lives by stealing their hearts, literarily.' "I think this just one of my dad's weird tangents. How did you want to arrive? Walking? Together? Limo? Fancy Car?" he asks. Look, his dad's paying for whatever, he doesn't care whichever way Utau wants to arrive. Maybe Utau has something else in mind though, as he slips his hands into the pockets of his sports jacket.
Utau Hoshina	Hinote speaks. He seems well spoken. That's good. But then he waxes on about the nature of the date and she rolls her eyes and then she ''grabs Hinote by the collar to tug his head down to her level. "Look here." she says, purple eyes gleaming. "I already ''have'' a date. But you're still taking me." she says bluntly. "You're BOTH taking me." she says. She admits this without shame or worry. "-and if you try to ruin any of it I am going to ''destroy your life''." she says. "You're going to nod and understand and you're not going to get involved with the other." she says bluntly. She releases Hinote's collar finally and then says sweetly. "Of course! It's just business and all that~" she says with a sickeningly false tone. She's not good at acting and covering up her tone too well. Hinote can probably tell. "-and I wouldn't want to disappoint your father for you!" she also adds. Still the false tone. She could care less about that.
Hinote Kagari	Hinote Kagari is grabbed by the collar and brought down to Utau's level. This is unexpected and makes him flail a moment with his hands, moving from his pockets to the air as his eyes go wide and he listens to Utau. She already has a date!? Then why the hell is he going with her? Oh. Oh it's like ''that'' is it? His expression goes from wide eyed to cold fairly fast. "Oh, I'm sure the other boy is extremely lucky, whoever he is." he says, as clear as can be. "Don't worry. I won't get involved but. Hey?" he asks. "Who exactly is the ''lucky'' guy who's actually dating you. You know. So I don't ''accidentally'' ruin it." he says with genuine worry. Well. Acted genuine worry. He's half curious who the poor sap is and the other half? Planning something. His eyes widen again when his collar is released and he adjusts his undershirt and sportscoat. "Yeah, my dad would be sad if he found out I didn't take you." he lies a little. Dad would be disappointed, but not ''sad''.
