Owner Pose
Coco Kiumi In the abyssal depths of the oceans, a man with dark silver hair and light orange eyes is resting in his bathing pool, to his side a bottle of wine, at his neck a gold necklace with a deep red crystal. The King of the Deep Seas is holding a glass of wine while rose petals floats on the surface of the pool.

"Isuru", he calls out, and a woman with dark red hair and pink eyes appears at his side out of nowhere. She is wearing a purple dress which reaches the floor and a diadem with pointy triangular rocks, roughly resembling shark teeth. "Yes, Lord Gaito?" answers the woman instantly. "I am quite disappointed in you having failed to bring the princess of the South Pacific Ocean back to me, but the information you provided has proved out to be quite valuable. I will leave the matters of the crimson queen at a later date, but for now I want you to focus on this Sunbreaker. She has already faced her, and so may prove valuable to me."

He smirks, while taking a sip out of his glass. "Tell Sara to give you the Sealing Key and go. She is probably unable to breathe underwater like us, but the Key will both solve the matters of her entrance to my palace and her breathing issues." Isuru smirks in reply and bows her head. "Understood, Lord Gaito, I won't disappoint you."

With that the woman vanishes, reappearing at Obsidian headquarters. A bit of walking around is all that's needed for her to locate Sunbreaker, and she teleports again at her side. "Sunbreaker, Lord Gaito, the King of the Deep Seas, has summoned you to his presence. He wishes to discuss matters which may prove beneficial to both you and him."

Isuru brings out the golden seahorse-shaped key. "Hold this if you agree: it will allow you entry and help you breathe while we travel to his underwater palace. We will have to appear at the gates first before the castle lets you in."
Sunbreaker Sunbreaker had been... feeling a bit of a cold shoulder since her recent mis-- issues. Not that she had made any mistakes. She was, as always, perfect. Amazing. Wonderful. Yup. Definitely not at all kind of tense because of the force that had been brought to bear against her.

So she kind of definitely jumped a little when suddenly this other person appeared NEXT to her. A bit of flame forming in her right hand which she prepped to launch at the other girl... only to realize a moment later. Nope. Not an attack. Just a person. "Do... you need something?" she asked warily. King... of the deep seas? What? Wait, like seaponies? Or... she looked the girl up and down. Uh... huh... She eyed the key for a moment. Seahorse? Eh. Maybe it was a trap. But she found it unlikely. Who would EVER be foalish enough to EVER try and threaten her, the great Sunbreaker? The greatest mage in two worlds! Aside from... maybe one exception. For now.

"Okay then, I accept." She reached out to take the key... Time to meet this 'lord' and see what he wanted with her.
Coco Kiumi Isuru exclaims an "Excellent" before grabbing her wrist, teleporting her to the imposing gate. Sensing the need of its holder, the key starts shining, surrouding Sunbreaker in a golden halo, letting her breathe. At the same time the gate starts opening in response to the key's influence.

"Excellent, with that the formalities are done." Isuru informs Sunbreaker. "I will teleport us the rest of the way" is all the warning Sunbreaker that before Isuru repeats the process that led them there. When they reappear, they are standing in front of Gaito, the King still half-submerged in his pool. "Good job finding her so quickly, Isuru. You may leave us alone now. Take the key with you, our guest doesn't need it anymore." The oldest of the Dark Lovers bows, "As you wish, Lord Gaito" all she says before teleporting out with the Key.

The king of the Deep Seas fixes his gaze on Sunbreaker, a smirk on his face. "You are calling yourself Sunbreaker, are you? Quite the ambitious name", laughter echoing across the palace. "I am Gaito, the King of the Deep Seas. As my dear guest, I hope the view of the castle is to your taste", he smiles while taking one more sip from his glass.

"You have had the opportunity to meet with Yellow Pearl Voice, so my Dark Lovers say. What do you know about the mermaid princess of the South Pacific Ocean?" he asks, setting his glass next to the bottle.
Sunbreaker Sunbreaker didn't like this at all. The moment she was underwater, she tensed up. Her fires dimmed considerably... though, in a strange display of her power? They didn't go out. Not fully. But they were little more than soft little flickers under the ocean.

And she was teleported around. Oh, she really didn't like that. She stumbled slightly, having to close her eyes for a moment to resettle herself. Nope. Nope nope nope. Did NOT like. Under the sea, surrounded on all sides by water, teleported around. NOPE. Baaaaad. It took a moment, but her tummy settled and then she looked up at him. The man of the hour. Gaito. She suppressed the urge to snicker. Why? Because... he was under the ocean. In a bath. Drinking from a cup. And the entire notion was just a bit silly to her.

But she was also under the ocean in his castle and not going to laugh at him a she had SOME tact and didn't want to find out juuuust how much power he had over said being able to breathe.

"Indeed," she said, the smile on her lips suppressing, desperately, the urge to laugh. "I am Sunbreaker, prized student to Monarch Sora, raiser of the Sun and the Moon in my world. She who will ascend beyond the alicorn herself. In my world, I was a unicorn, powerful and magnificent. Here... I'm this, a human in appearance. But my name stands as a testament of what I will achieve. I will break the sun itself when I return, powerful and free of her binds."

She quirked an eyebrow at him. "I've... encountered this Yellow Pearl Voice a few times. Her songs are... okay. I'd give her a passing grade for style. Not very original though." She was, in fact, still salty about the polar bears.

"As for the princess of the South Pacific Ocean? I'm not from this world. The oceans we have are different and ruled by different species. I... admittedly wasn't even aware there WAS a princess of such on this world."
Coco Kiumi Gaito's eyes manifest a touch of curiosity when Sunbreaker mentions her nature and the history of her origin. "An unicorn, symbol of purity. And yet, you stand among creatures of darkness for revenge. How much do you measure up to this fame of purity from our world?" After asking the question, he takes a moment to ponder the information she revealed.

"Be grateful, because I shall repay what you told me in kind. As a matter of matter of fact, I also have some grievances against a monarch, Aqua Regina, the goddess of the seas. She is who created the seven kingdoms of the mermaid princesses and the pearls that perpetuate their existence."

His eyes are much more cold now, the smile absent from his face. "She is the one who sealed me in the solitude of this palace ever since I existed because she was fearful of the might of the power of Darkness I was born with. And my twin, my other half..." He waves his hand around, his annoyance growing. "he is probably living a calm and successful life up on land, unaware of holding the might of the Light of the Panthalassa he descends from."

He has gone back to smiling now, but it's not the confident and calm smile from earlier. "Finding him is probably a lost cause, that's why I intend to capture all the 7 mermaid princesses and strengthen myself with the power of their pearls in lieu of what I was deprived, to dethrone Aqua Regina and reign over the world. Come with me, I have something to show you."

With that, he summons his dark regal robes and emerges from the pool, the rose petals floating way by the interference of the ripples of water generated.
Sunbreaker Sunbreaker crossed her arms. "Ahem, symbol of purity? What kind of... listen, where I come from we're NOT known for being 'pure' or any of that. Well, okay, some of the species say us ponies are... purer I guess. But we're symbols of MAGIC. The most powerful magic in our world, in fact. Now, as for my purity, I am purely incredible. Pure talent. Pure skill. Pure dedication to achieving what I deserve," she said, her voice FILLED with that arrogance.

However, the talk of Aqua Regina made her eyes narrow. So this world DID have some 'Soras' of its own. The talk of the pearl... seven? Huh. Her world had magic artifacts of its own.

Oh my gosh there were rose petals. While his back was to her and he was donning his robes, she let out a snort, but quickly managed to get a straight face by the time he would turn to look at her. She moved to follow after him, giving a small nod. "You know, we had a similiar story back in our world. Not... entirely the same, mind. But one where the light was created by Monarch Sora and she had a dark, evil sister who she banished to the moon. It wasn't true, though. As her student, I'd certainly have known if she had a sister or anything like that. I was, honestly, the closest thing to a family she ever had. It was just another story that ponies created over the centuries to explain the funny 'pony-like' face on the moon's surface in my world. Probably something that Sora created as another way to make herself seem more grandiose and magnificent in everybody's eyes."
Coco Kiumi The talk about her many qualities elicits a smirk out of him. "I see you have a very clear image of our own worth", he comments, his thoughts fixated on assessing Sunbreaker's threat level. "I doubt Aqua Regina is going around telling people about me either", Gaito scoffs as he leads Sunbreaker through the corridor of his palace.

"She had no reason to, since I wasn't a problem, sealed as I was. If this Sora is anything like her, and there is a lot of overlap between these types, she abides to the same "out of sight, out of mind" principle. Once you are back to your world, I would investigate this story if I were you. You don't want one like me showing up one day threatening to knock down everything you have worked for, do you?" He looks at Sunbreaker as he says this, a haughty and scornful smile on his face.

Arrived at a huge double door, he pushes it open, revealing to the unicorn a big hall with a throne in the distance. 7 cylindrical tanks and a tiny column are placed in two rows inside the room, only one of them occupied. To ruin the ordinate feeling of the room, one has clearly been repaired recently, a few shards of glass still on the ground in front of it.

Gaito walks in front of the occupied one, a sleeping mermaid with indigo hair and tail in it. "This is Noel, the mermaid princess of the Artic Ocean", he informs her. "I lack the other six for now", he adds, waving at her to follow him again as he heads to the small column. On it lies a cushion holding a silver crown with 6 empty spots and one filled by an indigo pearl.

"Here is my proposal to you: help me gather the remaining princesses and their pearls, starting from Yellow Pearl Voice, and once I have all of them I will send you back to your world right away with the combination of their collective power and mine." The subtext being he wasn't particularly keen on keeping her around then.
Sunbreaker Sunbreaker gave a low chuckle. "Oh, I know exactly how much I'm worth. One wouldn't last as long as I without a clear understanding of their own value." Oh, if only that were true.

She followed behind him, a knowing smirk on her lips. And the more he talked, the more her smirk kind of... wavered. Was... it possible? Surely if her mentor had a sister, she'd have been told. Sora told her everything. She was... Sora wouldn't have hidden such a thing. Not from her. She was too important. Too much. He just didn't understand the incredible relationship she and Sora had.

Her eyes narrowed when she passed by the sleeping mermaid. Kept... inside a tank. She eyed the indigo haired prisoner. "Is she kept in stasis of sorts?" Sunbreaker asked. Was the girl... aware? Not that she cared. It wasn't HER world. "I can already go back to my world whenever I wish," she said. That wasn't... quite true. But close enough.

"What I wish is the power to gain what is rightfully mine. Once I have that I already intend to return," she said before glancing back to him. "So you want me to capture the yellow singing girl for you, who's supposed to help with that? Your guys make the youma, right?" she asked before holding out her right hand. The gem on her necklace glowed a moment later and a strange, shadowy creature rose out from her, coiling around her arm. A... strange... dusk eel?

"I don't mind helping you out a little, working besides you. And if things go well... the rest of the princesses shouldn't be an issue. After all, nothing could hope to stand against me, when it comes to magic. Let alone a couple of mermaids with offpitch music." As if Yellow's voice wasn't fabulous.
Coco Kiumi "Yes, of course she is kept in stasis", he grunts. "As lovely as the princesses' voices are when they aren't accessing the powers of their pearls, it would soon get annoying if my throne room were filled with their cries over their prisony."

"Hmm, so you can", he replies, his tone contradicting his statement. "Well, I will give you the means to get the power you need. Once I rule this world, I will have plenty of resources at my disposal." Gaito will keep under control how and why, but if that's what it took for everything to go smoothly, then so be it.

The descendant of the Panthalassa looks at her with irritation. "Yes, the Dark Lovers and the Black Beauty Sisters can contribute on that front, but my reach is as of now still limited on land. That's why my cooperation with Obsidian was necessary, and you are one of them. Are you ready to accept my offer?"

When Sunbreaker confirms she is accepting, he smiles much more. "That's perfect. I will call my Dark Lovers to get you back home. Isuru?" As soon as that name resonates, the amant of the seas appears into the throne room. "I imagine the time has come to bring her back, Lord Gaito?"

The king of the deep seas nods. "That's right. Please escort her with care. Our guest and newest ally is an important one, almost a royal herself."
Sunbreaker Sunbreaker was able to push away any guild she felt then, easily enough. After all, it wasn't her world and it wasn't like the mermaid was suffering. She didn't care. Not at all. Nope.

"Sure, that seems fair," Sunbreaker said. Yeah, she was already seeing the way this would go. She got him what he wanted, he'd likely betray her, yadda yadda. But for now? She could play along. Learn what she could from them... Then toss them aside. Likely in the same way she suspected he intended to.

"Sounds good to me," she said before glancing to Isuru and then holding her hand out. And also preening a bit. Finally, someone RECOGNIZED how incredible she was. Almost a royal. Before long, she would ascend to her rightful place! Good to see SOME people recognized her genius.

Eh, how hard could catching Yellow be?
