Adora Rainbowfist Video games are louder then Adora expected.

It's after school on a weekday, and the 9th grader has headed out into Tokyo. She overheard about the Arcade from some other kids in the food Plaza, and has decided to see for herself. People keep mentioning them around her, and she's trying to be less confused around here. The tall (Well, 5'7", which is very tall for a 9th grader or woman around here) is wearing a pair of tight jeans, and a white shirt with short sleeves and red shoulders. The shirt makes the four claw scars on her right forearm quite visible.

She wanders the loud, packed arcade slowly, drawing a lot of looks from the other kids, as she stares at everything with wide eyes.
Coco Kiumi Coco is bored. All her friends are busy elsewhere, the otters are resting after a lot of investigation on her account and she just came back from a hours-long swim in the sea, and as much as she wouldn't mind staying there more, she isn't sure if anybody if going to look for her while she is taking her swim.

She still doesn't find much joy in many video games, but she enjoyed skeeball last time. And maybe she can try Dance Dance Revolution this time. When she walks through the Arcade that way, her eyes fall on a tall blonde girl. More specifically on the claws on her arm. 'Has she been attacked by a Youma?' Coco thinks. She clearly can hold her own, so no problem there, but if she discovers she is someone with magic, then she can help out with healing that scar.

'It's decided!' she thinks, resolved to follow that course of action. "Hello there!" she smiles. "Are you a new student at Radiant Heart, by chance?" That's a good start. Somehow, all people with affinity to magic end up there.
Adora Rainbowfist Adora glances over and down when she hears the voice over the constant din of conversation and video games. She offers the other girl a smile before the athletic teen shrugs a bit. "Kinda! Started a few months ago. So...still new if you compare me to locals and stuff. Mostly been sticking to myself and trying to understand local traditions. I'm from Bavaria," she lies. "That's...far away from here." She adjusts her ponytail and turns to watch over the shoulders of two kids playing Street Fighter. She squints a bit at the fighting and shakes her head. "Kicking someone in the stomach doesn't work like that..." One kid stares back at her before they return to her game. Adora clears her throat and turns back to Coco, offering a rough and calloused hand. Yeah, a handshake, in a bowing society. She's bad at bows and has given up on them.

"Adora," she offers. "Grade 9."
Coco Kiumi 'Grade 9? She surely doesn't look like a 14 years old', she thinks, her face frowning in surprise. Coco shakes Adora's hand without hesitation. While she has no issues with bowing herself and she is doing it, she is much more accostumed to shaking hands.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Coco, Grade 11! And I am from far a away place too, I am from South America!" The last part isn't a lie. Technically. From a certain point of view. If you interpret it as being from anything south of America instead of being from a nation that makes up The South America.

"What's your name?" she asks, before looking at the screen that caught Adora's attention, though its noise has been irritating her ever since she entered here. Too violent. "I think they are more about looking good than being realistic, from what I gathered."

"What kind of games do you like? I was thinking of going to either Dance Dance Revolution or skeeball. I am not really made for any of that stuff, but that's not a problem if that's what you want either", she explains, pointing to the Street Fighter game.
Hinata Muramasa     A young girl with straight black hair walks into the arcade. She never really liked these places growing up, but after meeting a certain other blonde girl they've kind of grown on her. She has a small bag from one of the local sweet shops in hand, and is currently nibbling on a dango-on-a-stick. Green eyes track over the arcade and finally fall on a familiar tall blonde, and a less familiar shorter blonde. She gravitates slowly over toward them, but doesn't engage directly, making herself look enthralled with one of the nearby claw machines.
Adora Rainbowfist The girl looks older then a normal member of that grade, it's true. Probably around 16, perhaps? But she could just be big for her age, or they grow them big in Bavaria!

"Adora Rainbowfist," he replies, smiling. RAINBOWFIST? "Oh, South America? Cool!" It's a place she only recently found out about and she knows next to nothing about it. "Came all the way out here to go to the Academy, or something?," she asks, curiously.

She glances back at the screen and then nods a bit. "Guess so." The girl turns back to Coco and shrugs a shoulder. "Never played either of them. But I am -terrible- at dancing," she replies with a laugh. Unlike a lot of locals, her laugh is loud and unashamed. It draws glances, for sure.

She catches sight of Hinata through the crowd. "Oh, I know her!" She raises a hand to wave at her, inviting her on over.
Coco Kiumi Coco repeats her name. "Adora Rainbowfist, huh? I guess your parents found you adorable from the get go!" she grins.

Later she shakes her head. "I was actually more interested in Tokyo itself rather than the Academy. But Radiant Heart is a big plus too. Lots of cool people to meet."

She takes a pause, pondering a matter, or at least trying to seem like she is. "Though, I suppose, Tokyo isn't the best place to live in, or even just to be passing by. Lots of weird incidents, don't you think?" Alright, let's see how she reacts.

"If you are no good at dancing, what you like to do?" she asks, before being distracted by Adora greeting Hinata. She similarly waves over at the other girl with a smile.
Hinata Muramasa     HRK... she's not as sneaky as she imagined... then again her bloodline wasn't a bunch of Ninja, they were Samurai or at least close to. She turns eye onto Adora, then makes her way over with a polite bow. "Rainbowfist-san, it is nice to see you again." she offers... then opens her bag to offer something from inside to the other girls. There's an ecclectic mix of sweets on offer, all local made stuff, no 'brand name' snacks.

She offers a bow in greeting to Coco. "I, don't believe we have met. I am Hinata Muramasa, Grade 7 at Radiant Heart Academy." Her face remains stoney, though there is the faintest ghost of a smile on her lips... if one can spot it. The bag is offered to Coco as well.
Adora Rainbowfist "Well, I don't know. I was sort of adopted," she replies. "They gave me the first name, and my best friend as a kid gave me Rainbowfist. Never had any other last name." She shrugs again, refusing to get depressed about it. No, she has plans for the catte. Sort of.

"Oh, lots of interesting pe-," she starts to respond. She fidgets a bit when weird incidents are brought up, glancing sidelong at Hinata and then back again. Hinata knows from the other day that Adora can't lie at all. "I...um. Weird things? Ha ha. No...nope. Never seen...any weird...things..."

She leans in to peer into the offered back and seizes a colorful looking sweet, popping it into her mouth. She closes her eyes and lets out a happy, pleased sound before she smiles and nods in thanks. "Nice to see you too!"

"Things I like to do?," Adora asks, sucking on the sweet in her cheek. "Work out. Anything with horses. Train. I just started a boxing and equestrian club at the school. No sign-ups yet." She pauses. "Boxing Club and an Equestrian Club. Not...a club where you box horses or box while on horses..." She trails off. "This is my first time seeing video games. People kept mentioning them, btu I didn't grow up around anything like it. My childhood was all about training and stuff like that," she tries to explain.
Coco Kiumi "Oh, uhm, I am sorry for bringing it up." Coco winces internally at her inadverted faux paus. Adora doesn't seem to give it too much weight, at least?

"Is something wrong?" Coco asks, noticing Adora's sudden stalling. She is specifically puzzled by why she glanced at Hinata before getting nervous. She wasn't like that when she first saw her. Are they involved in the same situation? Coco looks at Hinata, wondering if she is a magical girl too.

Her having looked at Hinata for longer than Adora is justified, at least, given the former's offer. "Nice to meet you, Hinata. I am Coco, grade 9", she says, bowing at the dark-haired girl. "Thank you for the candy", she adds, picking one of them from the bag Hinata is offering her.

"Not a club where you box horses or box while on horses?" Coco repeats Adora's words yet again. "Did they ask you to clarify what you meant? I don't see why you would have to specify that."

"So you really like physical activity. I have never tried boxing, but what do you say of heading to the beach one of these days for some volleyball?" she asks enthusiastically. She isn't sure of whether Adora actually enjoyed her childhood, but she has already made enough missteps for the day, and either way it doesn't seem like there would be a good way to ask that.
Hinata Muramasa     Hinata closes the bag once the pair have taken a piece of candy each. She then remains largely quiet as the others speak. she isn't exactly an outgoing person at the best of times, and more extroverted people often speak enough to fill the gaps.

She doesn't remain /passive/ however, listening intently to the conversation. When Adora mentions the clubs, she speaks up again. "You should come by the Kendo club some time too. I'm sure your Bavarian sword fighting style would be a unique addition to our matches."
