Scene #706: Takudatening!

Hannah Steiner	How long has it ben since she's felt /nervous/!? It's been a while. Hannah of House Steiner has always been a paragon of purpose, but right now? She's dressed in a comfy knee-length skirt, a cute blouse, and has her typical hat at a perfectly jaunty angle. All in wonderful, Tharkadian colors of golds, blues, and yellows. Yet still, no matter how much BG has assured her that she's reaching for optimal Cute Quotients by the standards of this little dirtball, she can't help but pace and fuss in front of the movie theater! Tak-tak-tak goes a pair of heels, as Hannah awaits her second polycule member, her nose supping upon popcorn scent, and her heart trying to leap from her chest! Lyra, meanwhile, offers a little hiss-bork to those passing by, awaiting a certain scent upon the wind to alert her owner!
Takumi Yoru	'You got this, Toomi. Just...be -cool-. It's what you do, right?' The girl stares at herself om her dorm room mirror, idly adjusting the rolled up sleeve on her shirt. Tight black slacks with a matching vest and dress shirt and tie make up her outfit for the date, with the sleeves of the shirt rolled-up to her elbows. Her blue hair is carefully brushed, falling into a bit of an emo style over one cheek. Heavy eyeliner, skater shoes. Damn, she looks good. She takes a few breaths and then opens the door, heading out for the evening. Along the walk she glances down at the tattoo at the crux of her thumb and forefinger, which resembles the kanji for 'Death' and 'Love' leaning against one another. The kid rubs at it a bit, growling to herself. She almost stops and turns around three times on the walk, and each time she needs to pause and give herself a pep-talk to keep going. Only one of those is the 'you work for Obsidian. You can't date some random girl!'. The other two are much more generic 'teenager in turmoil' talks. Finally, though, she comes around the corner and spots Hannah. Her cheeks color immediatly, but she knows Hannah can't see that. She just hopes Lyra doesn't rat her out. "Hey! I'm here. Couple minutes late, sorry, but...movie doesn't start for a bit so we should be good." 'I was too busy telling myself I don't deserve happiness', she does NOT say.
Hannah Steiner	Sadly, while she can't appreciate Takumi's artistry in skin or dress, the familiar voice does have her reaching out a hand towards the Yakuza-based compatriot that is her second girlfriend as she notes that voice on the air! Lyra is a certified Good Girl even as she's a Big Doggo-Lizard, and so only gives a swift hiss-bork once Hannah is offering a hand out to Takumi! "Acht, I am always early for a reason! Come, we can still get popcorn!" A few taps, and then she pulls Takumi onto one arm, cheek to cheek for a few moments before they're off to ticket-snapping land followed by the line for food. Two sodas and a massive bucket later? Well, Hannah has decided upon a campy action flick for the date, and is tugging Takumi towards it. That popcorn has far too much butter and salt, as is proper! "I am told the most famous actors upon this little dirtball have gathered for this one!" She assures Takumi, even as she rushes them both to their seats. Far, /far/ too close, this Hannah, touch-loving as she is!
Takumi Yoru	She takes the hand, her bravado briefly shrinking. "Uh...heh. Well, if this turns into more then one date, at least one of us is punctual." She offers Lyra a few pets, too, before she follows the taller girl into the theater itself. "So, sushi after this?," she asks hopefully. She looks like a little sister walking with her bigger one, and it makes her self a but self-concious. Even when it comes to curves, Takumi is slender. Still, a kid who is almost entirely made up of ego, she straightens her back a bit and keeps on walking. She settles into her seat, and pulls up one leg to tug it under herself. She sips her soda and munches popcorn. "Mn. Should be fun. I'm more of an 'anime' girl, but...some good live-action kabooms are never gonna get turned down, you know?" The 'dirtball' comment is funny to her, and it makes her laugh. Then again, she thinks it's just somebody being cynical and making fun of Earth!
Hannah Steiner	After a bit of wander towards the theater, Hannah flops into her seat, hand still in hand as she does so! Lyra, snugglebug as she always is, presses her big old self right down under ankles as some kind of living foot warmer, essentially making raised seats for the pair! Seriously, that's one big 'dog'. That feels suspiciously feathery, but the Veil makes thing ambiguous to 'good fuzzy'. Quiet, tiny hiss-bork as the lights go down! Dextrous digits feed Takumi a popkern just before the lights go down for the movie. She leans, and whispers! "Sushi und arms upon you, should you so wish." Comes Hannah, voice teasing! Then just slightly louder! "Apparently these are actors from my parents' days." She tries to sound excited, but a hint of melancholy works its' way into her voice. Granted, her parents could't have heard these actors for obvious reasons, bu the /time/ has her nostalgic for something she wasn't around for. Such an odd feeling. She leans against Takumi as the movie starts!
Takumi Yoru	Takumi doesn't withdraw from the handholding. It's making her heart race, sure, though. Well, her Dark Heart, which feels odd and fuzzy, as the engine of death is not exactly used to these kinds of emotions. She ignores that uncertainty as best she can, though. Her eyes widen as she finds herself being fed a piece of popcorn. Her lips collect it from those fingers, her blue eyes wide. And theeeeen comes the whisper about sushi and arms, and honestly, she barely registers the first act of the movie.
Hannah Steiner	G R I N!!!! It's a good movie in that 'B-Movie Action Flick' trash kind of way, Hannah clearly enjoying the sound of explosions, fights, and general chaos! She also seems to take pure pleasure in feeding Takumi popcorn, the touch-starved young woman sharing that big bucket happily, even as she kicks off her shoes to rub-rub-rub Lyra's 'fur' with her toes before chomping on popkern herself. An arm finds its' way about Takumi's shoulders, and she leans in near towards the climax! "Its' always the intelligence agent! Untrustworthy Sankt-kaiserless heathens!" Why does she sound so /firm/ about that????
Takumi Yoru	The girl is trying SO hard to be cool about everything, but she's never had a Hannah feeding her popcorn or putting her strong arm around her shoulders. Honestly, her angsty brain has NO idea how to compute it all. She is overwhelmed. She swallows a bit at the words near the climax of the movie, glancing from the screen to Hannah. This puts their faces VERY close, however, so the blue-haired teen quickly turns her head back to face the screen. "It's cause they're natural-born snitches," the girl whispers. "Once a rat, always a rat." Her heart hasn't stopped racing the entire movie, and not because of the tense action. Hell, she's barely even noticed the insane action, though she's laughed or cheered when Hannah does.
Hannah Steiner	Hannah isn't exactly backing away from the cheek-touches! "A rat indeed!" She declares, all but nuzzling Takumi until the arm of the seat has her frowning, as though its' getting in the way of her trying to show affection for Takumi! Hannah absolutely makes hoots and hollars in the best moments, her voice filing out as Lyra helps guide her sensations! And she continues to chomp popcorn and offer said to Takumi! She leeeans to said girl! "Und yet, sometimes a rat is a darling, best pressed to one's heart!" She teases, with a grin!
Takumi Yoru	"I...well, yeah. Like, actual rats are cute. I just men people who rat eachother out. Narcs and stuff like that." That's that Yakuza upbringing she mentioned at the park coming through. She does get curious about how a blind person can really enjoy the movie, but that line of questioning just makes her somewhat astonish that Hannah just...seems happy to be alive. To be somewhere, doing something. It's a wierd idea to Takumi. To just be...happy. Either way, tyhe movie wraps up and she finds herself slowly, awkwardly unwrapping herself from the arm. Syhe doesn't yank herself away, but she is more trying to stand and such. As she does so her little tummy audibly growls. "Sushi."
Hannah Steiner	Hannah stands alongside Takumi, and as soon as they're moving? Oh, she is /right/ back to invading Takumi's personal space. That little tummy growl is adorable, and Hannah can't help but grin. Just as they clear the doors of the movie theater? She leans in, and blows a little bit of her into Takumi's ear! Fwoo! "Enjoying yourself, mein...hmm, are you an engel or a teufel? Because I am fond of both." She teases as they make their way to the station, and then, to the sushi restaurant! As the sushi spins on by, she leans on Takumi to help her out. She's rarely actually /had/ sushi, and so it's a new experience she clearly enjoys! "Mmm, seaweed is wunderbar, whom knew!?" A little pause. "So. I wish to get to know you more. What are your dreams? What do you enjoy doing?" Comes the young woman, happily interrogating her would-be girlfriend!
Takumi Yoru	She flails at the ear-blow but doesn't retreat. She bumps her shoulder into Hannah's side and grumbles a but before she ends up leaning into her side a bit during the walk. "I don't know what a teufel is, but I'm no angel," the girl grunts softly. She looks up at the tall blonde as they walk to the sushi place, and ends up finding herself blushing for some reason she can't place. She grunts to herself and glances away. Once the two (plus Lysa) are at the sushi place, she does her best to explain the food rolling by, and telling her what's on the order menu. She primarily sticks to nigiri, adding a large amount of wasabi to almost every piece, and spacing out ginger everytime she switches to something new. She's having a good time, which surprises her. "Oh. Um. Fair enough." She sits back on her side of the booth and thinks. "I like cooking. Not having easy access to a kitchen is a big change for me. I especially love spicy food. I'm a big fan of historical Japanese dishes, and I've gotten damn good at making them, too. But I've started experimenting with foreign food, too. Or...I did back home before I took off." "I play guitar and the drums. Sing. I kept trying to get a band together but it never worked out. Oh, and skateboarding. Always skateboarding. What about you, big, blonde and beautiful?"
Hannah Steiner	Hannah Steiner seems to be making a concerted effort to try /everything/. She also piles on the wasabi like a madwoman! One can almost see her /steaming/ from the inevitable results. Thankfully, her trip to the Khorma has done much to inure her to wasabi! "If you desire spicy, I implore you to visit the Korma Chameleon! Frau Rashmi Terios is a dear freund, und her House is most learned in the ways of flame und food! Hah, und she und her boyfriend, herr Harlaown are just /disgustingly/ adorable together! How amusing for a delightfully sweet girl und an utter stiff-spined little heathen are so wonderful together! Hah!" Apparently gossip is indeed in her 'things she does'. Or maybe she just likes puffing up her friends. Hmmmmm! "Music is not one of mein myriad talents, however, I should be delighted to hear you play. Serenade mein heart!" Comes Hannah dramatically with a hand on her chest! As for skateboarding? She blinks. "Acht, I do not mean to sound like some country-bred prole...what is 'skateboarding'?" A tap of her chin! She ponders for a few moments, and then nods. "I must admit, I enjoy thrills! Exercise, duels of honor, I am in the fencing club! Und the animal club, I am a patron of our fine furry freunds!" Reeeeach, Lyra scriiiitch! "Back home I went air-diving regularly!" Firm nod! Yup, adrenaline junky! "Also I am slowly getting into woodwork. I should like to dip mein toes into metalworking, but it is difficult to find a tutor."
Takumi Yoru	"I dunno who Rashmi or...Harlaown?...are. But I'm down to try this place out if you wanna take me for a second date. Or whatever." She adds the 'or whatever' hastily to make it sound like she doesn't care if there is a second date or not. She blushes at being asked to serenade her, and she replies by using her chopsticks to stuff another piece oif yellowtail nigiri into her mouth and chew. She washes it down with her soda. Always soda. "WHAT is skateboarding?? Oh. Blind. Sorry, yeah. It's a sport. Got invented in American back in the 1980's. You have a board that is usually 28 to 33 inches long, right? It has four little wheels under it. You ride around on it, kicking your foot against the ground to gain speed. You can do all kinds of amazing tricks on them. It's my -favorite- thing. There's a whole subculture around it. Fashion, music, you name it."
Hannah Steiner	"You will ADORE them, I assure you! ...Else I shall Duel them for being rude to the most wonderful teufel to ever have tempted mein poor, poor innocent soul!" She never /did/ explain what that was, but she's also too focused on soaking in Takumi's presence to really care. It's not often she's jealous, but frankly, she /is/ right now. "How quaint! By the Sankt, it sounds /exhilirating/! Hmmmmm. A challenge, then! Teach me und Lyra to board this plank of skating, hm? Lyra is smarter than your average hund after all!"
Takumi Yoru	"Mm. We'll see about that. I don't adore a lot of people," she growls softly. "And very few people adore me." The mention of tempting her innocent soul makes her grin a bit despite herself, and she brushes her fingers back through her blue hair. She blinks when she's asked to teach her...and Lyra...how to skate, and she considers before eyeing the conveyer bgelt and snagging some tuna belly nigiri. "...Sure."
Hannah Steiner	A hand makes a dismissive wave! "Perhaps they simply do not see the right side of you. I find freunds allows one to...relax. To show the brilliance that is so painfully difficult to let others peer out. Your danger und your passion...I find them brilliant. Can you blame me for wanting to share your most precious aspects with others I adore?" Comes Hannah, voice suddenly soft and warm. While Takumi uses the opportunity to snatch more sushi, she's wandered over to Takumi's side. Bork. Pluck. Suddenly she's trying to feed Takumi with a smile, and is Way Too Close. "Because I think you are a precious soul that deserves love und many freunds who appreciate you for who you are." She whispers.
Takumi Yoru	"Not sure there IS a right side of me," the kid grunts softly, staring down at her soon empty plate. She sips her soda and sighs before glancing across at the other girl again. She yelps as Hannah ends up sliding into her side of the booth, pinning her against the side and giving her no escape. She looks up at her with wide eyes, opening her mouth to take the offered food. Her Dark heart is racing, as she swallows the mouthful. "...Well, that's dumb," she whispers. But then the girl is leaning up a bit to lay a soft kiss on Hannah's cheek. "But thanks."
Hannah Steiner	Siiiigh! Hannah shakes her head. "'Dumb'? Truly? Takumi, I shall entirely prove to your otherwise, or mein name is not Steiner! I shall tease out your brilliance slowly until it is recognized by freund und feind alike!" she proclaims proudly, leeeaning into that kiss! Suddenly, she grips Takumi's hand, and pulls her in again. Smooooooch! She pulls back with a grin. "Full? Come. The night in young, mein liebling." A wink, and she gets ready to pay!
