Setsuna Meiou has posed:
Ah, the school infirmary. A staple of the high school experience...where students go to deal with the various cuts, scrapes, strains and the like common amongts a building full of 1000 or so hormone-soaked adolescents. Not to mention all the ones trying to scam the nurse to let them skive off of class.

Generally, the infirmary's a fairly small office for the nurse and some equipment. At least, that's the general rule. Given the budget Radiant Heart boasts, the infirmary's a bit bigger and more well appointed than most. There are several beds (which are currently not in use) and to an eye familiar with the medical world, there's enough well-laid-out kit that it's quite likely that, in extremis, one could actually do surgery here.

Still, most of the room is broken up with little rolling-wall medical dividers, with the bulk of the area set up for the kind of service one would need for a typical average assortment of students. Reasonably nice chairs, little triage areas, that kind of thing. The walls have various posters one might see in a doctor's office, though most of them are a bit more aimed at student-level things like common adolescent illnesses and the like. One particular poster, however, probably catches the eye:

It's a cartoon of a doctor's office with a patient sitting on a bed and a doctor next to him, pointing to a picture on the wall of a cross section of the human heart with all the bits labeled. The caption reads, "Here's an example of what you should never do with your heart; cut it in half and look inside"

Currently devoid of other students, the Nurse is alone in the room. She's a very tall woman, pushing very nearly 6 feet, with strikingly long green hair that extends below her waist. Hints of a green blouse can be seen around her collar, but for the most part, everything she's wearing is concealed by a long labcoat that extends almost to her knees.

As she stands idly waiting, she occupies herself by reading a book. While the title isn't visible from the door, one can see the back of the book, which has a picture of a slightly scruffy, roughed up man wearing a trenchcoat and sitting astride the head of what appears to be a zombified T-Rex as if to ride it into battle. In her off hand, she's absently rolling a pen across her knuckles, between each set of fingers before flipping it around again to continue the loop.

Michiru Kaiou has posed:
Michiru Kaiou is usually very good about submitting paperwork on time. But the amount of paperwork that goes into enrolling at school even tested her time management skills. And so it was that she found herself stopping by the infirmary halfway into her second week to finally drop off her medical forms with the nurse. She's not expecting it to take a long time, just hand them over, maybe answer a few questions, and she'll be on her way.

She stops just inside the door, though, when she _sees_ Setsuna. The woman is quite striking after all. But it's not just that. There's something about her that Michiru can't place. She's been feeling this a lot lately.

"Meiou-sensei?" She says, her voice light and floaty. She starts to walk again, moving closer. She already has a folder with all the papers in her hand. "I just wanted to stop by and drop off these forms. I'm sorry it took me so long to fill them out." She pulls them out of the folder and holds them out for Setsuna to take as she comes to a halt close enough that that makes sense.

Then she sees the book, and giggles.

Setsuna Meiou has posed:
The other woman glances over at you the moment you cross her threshhold, "Yes. That's what it says on the directory. And you would be Miss Kaiou. Please, come in." She stops spinning the pen in her off hand, and the pen she was holding disppears only to be replaced moments later by a bookmark (some black fabric with a highly stylized gold english capital P) that she uses to mark her place before snapping her book shut, revealing it's title, which is apparently 'Dead Beat' in English lettering.

Setting the book down, she accepts the offered paperwork. She nods towards the chairs, "Please, have a seat. This shouldn't take long, but I *DO* need to doublecheck to make sure that, as they may have taught you in class, all the 'i's are dotted and the t's are crossed'. Also, feel free to ask any questions you have while I give this a quick review." That said, she opens the folder and starts obviously skimming the paperwork for anything that might have been missed.

Michiru Kaiou has posed:
Michiru lifts her bag up off her shoulder and places it in her lap as she sits down in the indicated chair. The empty folder gets put inside the bag before she turns her attention toward Setsuna as she looks over the forms. She doesn't really have any questions to ask, none that make any sense anyway. She can't really ask the woman what it is about her that Michiru can sense. What it is about all these girls that Michiru can sense. She can't ask about _that_.

So instead, she asks, "How do you like being the nurse here?"

Setsuna Meiou has posed:
Setsuna was never really all that fantastic at using her more esoteric senses to start with...and umpteen however many years by her lonesome with no way to test them did her no favors in that regard. They, along with the catastrophe that broke the Gates didn't do her memories any favors, either. She occasionally asks a question here or there covered in the forms, but it's all pro-forma, and one can tell she's moving through all the little forms at a pretty rapid clip.

Your question gets her to pause and look over for a moment, and you can see her actually take the time to think of a proper answer, "Truth be told, this is just about an ideal posting. Not a lot of urgent need, a clinic well-equipped enough to make my few duties pretty simple. Honestly, I'm mostly here because regulation requires a nurse on premises and because, frankly, in many cases you never need a medical professional until you REALLY NEED a medical professional."

She then smiles and turns the question around, "And how are you settling in here? I take it the music program is to your liking?"

Michiru Kaiou has posed:
Michiru laughs lightly at that question. Of course that's what she asks. "Oh yes! I do. I've already joined the music club," she says with a smile. "I'm really looking forward to the opportunity to just _make music_ without it feeling so much like work. I'm looking forward to maybe being in the spotlight a little less," she admits. Does she know how school orchestras work? She's totally still going to be in the spotlight.

"Overall, though, I feel like I'm settling in well," she goes on to answer. "I enrolled here because I needed to be around people, and make friends. I'm already starting to do that, and it's wonderful." She smiles and just radiates her joy. "I've met some interesting people here in the last week and a half."

Setsuna Meiou has posed:
Setting the folder down, Setsuna smiles and turns more fully towards Michiru, "I can completely empathize with wanting to get out and be around people more, as well as meet new people. I'm greatly enjoing being able to do that, myself." She gives a little commiserating grin, "Anyone in particular you've met so far?" She's actually kind of curious. It's always interesting to see how certain personalities stretch and warp the fabric of the student body around them. Minor celebreties such as star musicians are, of course, potentially one such type of person.

That, and living vicariously through the lives of others has kind of been a major hobby for the woman that even the ability to actually go and interact with people on her own hasn't fully shaken from her.

Michiru Kaiou has posed:
There absolutely is someone in particular. But Michiru is not about to gush to the school nurse about the most romantic and magical night of her life at the school dance. So instead, she says, "Oh yes! I met Hotaru Tomoe the other day when I was out in the courtyard painting the office building. She is so cute. I get the feeling she needs friends, too, and she's just the most adorable little kohai. I also met Ami Mizuno, who is everything I'd been led to expect, and rather good in the pool on top of that. We've decided to start meeting once a week to swim together before classes in the morning."

The rest of the folks she's met? Well, they don't get a mention. Especially not the one particular someone.

Setsuna Meiou has posed:
Nurse Meiou smiles at Michiru as she describes those she's met, mentally catloguing names.

Beyond the levels of gossip that brighten a dull day, beyond the ebb and flow of a school's social life...there is information.

While magic was never Pluto's primary field (at least where it did not pertain to time), the basics of Silver Millenium magic weren't hard to grasp. In the Silver Millenium, magic was all about metaphyics and concepts. Concepts like Space, and Time...and importantly...DESTINY. The Queen's spell far in the past would have had to lean very very heavily on Destiny to reincarnate her daughter's court in the present. Thus, Pluto, denied the easy use of the Gates to discover what she wants to know has to rely on slower, subtler methods.

Destiny will pull her Princess' court together. All she has to do is look for groups of especially unique groups of people similarly begin together. That's where she's got her best chance of finding her quarry.

But that's got little bearing on the now...well...maybe not. Miss Mizuno is already well known to her. Finding someone else that she's forming a connection with means she's someone to watch even were she not already so.

She goes back to absently twirling a pen through the fingers of her off hand, "Well, then. I'm glad to see you're settling in here. Did you need anything? Basic...supplies...are provided freely to all students...in fact..."

The nurse gets up and goes to retrieve a brown plastic bag, then she goes to one of the cabinets and starts pulling out some supplies. A very basic first aid kit, a small box of adhesive bandages, a small assortment of sample packets for a few over-the-counter medicines, etc, etc. Basically a small kit containing a small sampling of everything medical-related a young woman might come to have need of in the middle of the night in a dorm room.

She then steps over (and at this point one might note she's wearing 3in heels and apparently is utterly comfortable in them) and hands the bag to the younger woman, "They were supposed to have a care package for every dorm, but just in case yours got missed, here you go. If you've already got one, keep those and just pass out your extras to others if they need them."

Michiru Kaiou has posed:
"Oh, I'm not living in the dorm, but I can keep these things in my bag," Michiru says as she accepts the goodies. She hasn't done a whole lot of fighting evil as Sailor Neptune yet, but she has a feeling first aid supplies are going to be handy to have. "My house is not too far from here, though. I can walk, but I usually have my driver bring me," she explains.

The one thing Michiru needs is answers, and she doesn't figure the school nurse probably has them. So, since she's not going to ask about any of the things that are _really_ on her mind, she figures this is her cue to leave. She tucks the goodie bag into her satchel, and rises up off the chair, slinging the strap back over her shoulder. "Thank you for the supplies, Meiou-sensei. Did you have any other questions?" Implied: if not, I'll be on my way.

Setsuna Meiou has posed:
Nurse Meiou takes one last look at the folder of paperwork, "This all seems to be in order. I'll get it entered into our systems in a few minutes. Beyond that..."

She pauses.

The vast majority of the students she's seen or interacted with of late are much younger, and generally come off as having all the foibles one expects from teenagers. Things like recklessness, confusion, boisterousness, crushing shyness...generally people who would be more inclined to ignore rather than listen to advice from someone in authority.

Michiru, however, comes off as much more...responsible. Thus, she offers a bit of cautious advice.

Her mein becomes a bit more serious as she says, "...be careful out there. Strange things are happening in Tokyo these days...I'm not sure precisely what, but I have no desire to see those under my care hurt. And if you see anything strange...my door is open anytime."

Michiru Kaiou has posed:
There's something about the way her tone shifted that just sticks in Michiru's mind, but the young woman just smiles and nods. "Oh, yes, of course. Thank you so much for your time," she says. Michiru Kaiou is (almost) always the perfect image of politeness, after all. "I'll see you around!"

She turns and heads back out the door, wondering: who should she go to if _she_ is something strange?
