Tinyplot: How the Adora Crumbles

Bow has posed:
It's early evening on White Day. Bow has been pacing the room. Why? Swiftwind has transformed earlier and said he had to get out. He needed air and didn't really want to bother anyone else. So, after seeing the alicorn off, which means that Adora was currently transformed... all he really could do is wait and worry.

With his roommate out for the evening, Bow is sitting at a desk in the living area, working on the box he recovered from Clover Tower, the Belkan tech opened to be studied and proded at, the Etherian dressed down in a comfortable t-shirt and pajama pants, as he takes notes on what he's discovering.

Sayaka Miki has posed:
Sayaka is on her way to Bow's room to fulfill a promise: show him what the movies on Earth are like. She is bringing with herself store-bought popcorn and one of the few movies she had brought with herself to the dorms from home, titled Aquamarine, involving friendship and romance alike. Not a bad one to start with, given the Etherian's own situation.

She is still wearing her school uniform, only having made a quick detour to her own room to grab the dvd and a dvd player in case the tv in his room doesn't have that option, though if so it would be weird to watch with the two of them given the small screen. Hopefully, the tv in Bow's dorm has that option.

While Bow is working on the Belkan tech, Sayaka has already reached his room, two knocks audibly reaching Bow's ears.

Bow has posed:
When the two knocks come, Bow sits upright from his work. Assuming it's probably someone that is probably looking for his roommate, he slips on a pair of slippers as he makes his way over to the door to open it. So the sight she gets is a six foot tall dark-skinned boyfriend.

He's wearing a bonnet cap over the curly hair on the top of his head, moisturizer on his cheeks. A t-shirt cut off just below his sternum so his abs are exposed, yes this seems to be a thing for him, is worn over his torso, with a silhouette of an archer in a mid-draw and the words I'd Hit That on the front of it. A pair of flannel fuzzy pajama pants cover his legs, leading to a pair of fluffy slippers that are of a frog motiff.

A bright smile is offered to Sayaka as he opens the door. "Hi, bluebird!" he greets in warm surprise. "Was... was there supposed to be something we had planned tonight that I missed?" A little blush. "I mean, I can change if you want to go out?"

Sayaka Miki has posed:
Sayaka comes into Bow's dorm room to get a direct view of him clearly in the mid of a personal care routine, which is not quite what she was expecting to be coming to considering this is right after school.

The sudden closeup of abs just below her line of sight gives but the faintest blush to the bluenette, that just wasn't quite expecting this is what she would be coming to.

"H-hey, Bow", Sayaka replies raising her hand in greeting. "I thought this would have been a good time to show what a movie is like here, but I don't want to get in the way", Sayaka replies.

She raises an eyebrow, given the knowledge that he usually wears clearly a very different type of clothes, not what she expected. "I am not in the way, right?", Sayaka asks, eyeing the clear not-ready-for-guests getup. Perhaps, she should have sent a message or something first.

Bow has posed:
When Sayaka starts blushing, it sends a darkness into Bow's cheeks as well. "I was just unwinding after class. I figured you were busy so..." But he stops himself. "Come in!" he offers warmly, making room for Sayaka to pass by him, and he goes to turn off his equipment. "I was looking a device that was left behind at an attack last night, and seeing if I could figure it out."

With his probe unplugged, he moves to return to Sayaka. "Watching a movie sounds like fun." he admits to her with a grin. "I was going to suggest it as a date thing after seeing the cinema at the mall." But he's fine with doing that another time.

"So! I haven't figured that..." he gestures to the entertainment unit, "...all out yet, so feel free to set up. Do you want some water or something cool to drink?" he asks, hands settled on his hips. He wanted to give her a hug, but she seems so flustered, he just doesn't know what to do with his hands.

Sayaka Miki has posed:
'An attack' is the first thing Sayaka focuses onto of what Bow says, and she immediately asks the obvious question: "Is everything alright?" Granted, she knows he doesn't need to be under her wing any longer now that he has acclimated to Tokyo, he is a perfectly capable archer, but still she can't help but worry a little about him.

She makes her way inside, glancing around at the tidy room, while she still keeps the movie in her hand. "Any progress on that tech?" Sayaka asks next, peeking at it where Bow left it.

"Nothing wrong with a movie at home though", Sayaka says. It certainly allows you to pick something you are more likely to appreciate. She is the one to give him a quick hug when she notices his uncertainty, then starts working on setting everything up. "Something cool sounds nice, please, Bow."

Bow has posed:
One thing that Sayaka may notice is that everything is tidy. He does a decent job in keeping things clean - and as Sayaka comes in for the hug, he returns it eagerly, leaning down to kiss her on the cheek. "Hi." he says quietly to her, before pulling back.

"I'm okay." Bow responds, hearing her mote of concern and offers her a reassuring smile as he heads into the kitchen, opening the fridge, and grabs two bottles of waters that are chilled. "And I just got started on it. I'm sure, thought, I'll be able to turn it off next time and not just set off an alarm." A small smirk at himself as he closes the fridge to wander back into the common area.

"So what movie are we watching, then?" he asks as he sets the bottles of water on the table in front of the couch. And a pause. "Would you be more comfortable if I put on a robe?" he asks her, he realizes finally, ready to retreat because he caught on finally that she was uncomfortable.

Sayaka Miki has posed:
Sayaka has more or less given up on being able to show the initiative in kissing Bow since the top of her head is barely able to reach the bottom of Bow's neck, never mind actually getting to his face, so she just shoots him a smile when she gets that kiss on the cheek.

"I am glad you are ok", Sayaka says while Bow comments on that and his progress. "I hope you didn't have any problems with the school." Setting off an alarm probably isn't exactly welcome, and especially when you can't just explain what was the cause.

"It's a movie on romance and friendship", Sayaka explains. "Even if the latter has a bit more focus over the former. A-and I guess you can just stay as you are. It's your room", she says. She was the one who came here unprompted anyway.

Though, the setup is over, so she goes sit on the couch, while the standard intro of advertisements goes by. The movie begins with the last few days of vacations of Claire Brown and Hailey Rogers, two best friends that are about to be separated by Hailey's mother, a marine biologist, getting a work transfer to Australia once the summer is over.

Bow has posed:
Coming over once she says it's okay, Bow settles in next to Sayaka. Now, he's closer to her level. And definetly easier to kiss were she to take the initative at this height. Setting down the bottles of water, the Etherian listening to Sayaka's explanation.

And as the movie starts, he settles in - just a little closer to the bluenette. Enough where their thighs touch, though he's not made the move yet to put his arm around her. That may take some prompting.

He reaches for some popcorn, taking a handful of kernels. "Oh hey, this is the same stuff that was on the ground when I shot that one thing with the flare arrow." He assumes it's safe to eat, Sayaka would not have brought it over, otherwise, so he starts to munch.

Sayaka Miki has posed:
It's totally safe to eat, and this one is very clearly deprived of all that magical energy that was going around. Store-bought aren't as good as prepared on your own, but things will just stay like this most likely. "Yes, that is the same, but this one didn't come from an evil plant monster", she smirks.

When Bow sits down and starts closing the distance between them, Sayaka does the same, her side in direct contact with his, once she has moved over enough, with an additional consequence of Sayaka finding out she is short enough to find resting her head on Bow's shoulder annoying, to her displeasure. It's at least definitely more convenient for both of them to eat the popcorn this close.

"It's sad they have to part from each other", Sayaka comments over the movie, just as it shows Hailey praying to the ocean gods that her mom didn't want to move any longer, just before the occurrence of a violent storm.

The scene switches to the local pool, that the girls sneak into the following night, where they suddenly discover a mermaid named Aquamarine, who had been washed in by the storm before after running away from home due to the arranged marriage she has been forced into.

Bow has posed:
When Sayaka presses against his shoulder, Bow finally lifts his arm so that she can settle in closer, his arm settling over the bluenette's shoulders, and his hand caressing her upper arm on the opposite side. Now she has his chest to press directly against to.

He eats some of the popcorn, watching the movie curiously, though his attention is drifting more and more between the movie and towards Sayaka, trying to figure out what he's supposed to do next.

But then there are girls making prayers and they are meeting mermaid. "Oh, she kinda... reminds me of Mermista. But not because of how she looks. I mean, she and her are both mermaids? But Mermista was the ruler of Sealinas, and used the Pearl to transform into a mermaid." he's explaining.

Story time, he's forgotten the movie for a moment. "...and she was the keeper of the sea gate. We were unable to protect it at first, and then, we were all depressed about it, and Sea Hawk - he was a ship's captain, hatched this kidnapping plot that got me and Swiftwind involved, but it was actual kidnappers instead of the actors he hired, and Sea Hawk had to get a message to Mermista with a seagull, and the Princesses came and saved us!" he explains.

"And then Coco is a mermaid too. She's funding the prom. So. I know a couple of mermaids." And of course, Sayaka is... well. He doesn't know all of it. Or even a mote of it. But Sayaka maybe counts too, even if it's the wrong type of mermaid.

Sayaka Miki has posed:
Well, setting her head against Bow's bust is a fair alternative to over-the-shoulder cuddling, and so Sayaka directly rests her head against his lean musculature, enjoying the warmth of his body from both sides, thanks to the arm bringing her in. And Bow may definitely be able to feel that Sayaka is relaxed right now.

"Oh, so your friend has magic powers that allow her to turn into a mermaid. It must be nice", Sayaka comments. "Swimming like that must have a wholly different feeling too. Does Mermista like that?" she asks, not really diverting her eyes from the movie.

"I am glad your kidnapping plot turned out for the best. Did you manage to get the gate back, or is that something you were still working on when the new guys invaded?"

And then he mentions yet another girl. "You sure know a lot of girls that have the power to turn into mermaids. Where does the second one gets the ability to become a mermaid from?" He only mentioned it for Mermista, after all. "Third time is the charm, they say, but not this time", Sayaka whispers.

Bow has posed:
"Still something we were working on." Bow admits quietly. Sayaka feels quite nice next to him. She even smells nice. And then as they're talking about mermaids, he gives a shake of his head. "You know, I never asked her." he admits about Coco as he hears Sayaka's whisper. And now, he realizes it.

Reaching down with his free hand, he turns, tilting Sayaka's face up so that they can face each other. "You know. I do know a lot of girls. A lot of Princesses." he admits with a small smile. "But I've never wanted to kiss any of them." he points out oh so sweetly as he starts to pull up Sayaka into a kiss...

Just as there's a loud scraping at the window. "Bow! BOW!" comes the panicked cry from outside.

The magic of the moment is broken as Bow pulls back from Sayaka, and presses a finger to her lips. "One moment, we'll continue this conversation." Or lack thereof. Getting up from the couch, he heads to the window, opening it. "What is it?"" he asks Swiftwind, clearly preturbed for a moment.

"It's Adora. She's hurt and under attack by a lot of people, Bow, we have to help her, and we need to do it NOW!" the alicorn implores.

Bow's eyes go as wide as saucers as he grabs his henshin device, pressing a button on it to shift forms, that burst of light as his pajamas are replaced by armor. A message is sent to Usagi and her friends, before he turns to Sayaka. "We have to go. Coming with?" he asks her. He can make the date up with her later.

Sayaka Miki has posed:
"I am definitely luck enough to be the first", Sayaka says, she too getting ready for that kiss that becomes ever closer, the anticipation making Sayaka smile nervously, but happily.

Except they are then interrupted by Swiftwind who reveals that Adora is in danger. "Of course I am coming with you", Sayaka says, turning the tv off and getting up from the couch. "I am ready to go whenever you are, Bow."

They have been ready to help Adora for a while. If the time has finally come, she is not hesitating setting out even with as little forewarning as the one they got. For Bow. For Adora. For Etheria.
