From Radiant Heart MUSH

Yoru's Mugging
Date of Scene: 08 April 2024
Location: Game Crown Arcade
Synopsis: Hinoiri has captured Yoru and it's up to Ikuto and Madoka to rescue him! And they'll do it with love, friendship and the power of single handed clapping against cheeks!
Cast of Characters: Hinoiri Kirara, Ikuto Tsukiyomi, Madoka Kaname

Hinoiri Kirara has posed:
Normally? Yoru would have been safe. Secure.

Normally.

Right now, he was inside a mug that said 'World's Best Employee' that was the best 89 yen could buy. With a cup holder covering it. Now, normally she wouldn't resort to such methods, but she'd intended to ask Yoru something.... and he bit her. Luckily for Ikuto, Hinoiri was many things... but she wasn't a killer of mascots.... unless they were kyubey. But that thing was effectively a youma so it didn't count.

From there it had been a simple notion to get Ikuto to come outside with her so they could chat. Well... she hadn't intended to kidnap Yoru to begin with... but wellllll... when life just gives you a tiny obnoxious cat to snag, make catorade. Or something like that. She didn't know.

"Ikuto, you know you're causing everyone a lot of trouble, running off like that. You know you wouldn't even have this little furball if not for them. Ah ah, stay back," she warned. "For now? I just want to talk. But don't *push* your luck more than you already have."

Ikuto Tsukiyomi has posed:
Ikuto was calm. He'd been thinking about that girl, Yuki. He'd been happy enough to make sure Chiyo had a good time at the prom, but then right at the end of the evening Yuki showed up and got his own heart racing a bit. They danced, then went to the roof to watch the moon. If he were more of a romantic he'd have considered it magical. He'd walked with her for a while on her way home, then gone to find one of his usual spots to get some well-earned rest.

Last night was still on his mind at the arcade, and he'd dropped his guard entirely despite -knowing- he wasn't safe anywhere these days. He knew that panic was his greatest enemy here, though. To panic would be to give the girl standing across from him now the extra advantage she wanted. Yoru wasn't helpless. He could take advantage of any opening Ikuto might create, and once he was free they'd be back in business.

"Really now. Kidnapping a Chara...that's your gambit here? What, are you afraid that since I actually -have- friends, you'd get outnumbered again?" That's right...go for the throat. Get her mad. She makes mistakes when she gets mad. They always do.

Even inside the mug, Yoru's laughter at the insult was audible. "Nyahahah!"

Madoka Kaname has posed:
Gretchen was having a pretty normal day. Her annoying Chara Bearer was around and wanting to play arcade games, but aside from that it was normal. Not really good persay, but not that bad either. At least, it wasn't bad until the Witch Chara felt Yoru's magical presence trapped within a mug, held by none other than Hinoiri Kirara. Ikuto, also, was there.

Gretchen quietly watched this unfold for a second or two before bapping Madoka on the top of her head and saying, "Look! Slap-chan stole that catboy's cat!"

The pinkette frowns at Gretchen and says, "First off, don't hit me! Secondly..." Madoka finally looks at where Gretchen is pointing. "Oh shoot!"

The pinkette doesn't even blink at Hinoiri being called 'Slap-chan'. What, is she so used to her Chara calling the crazy motorcyclist that by now that it doesn't even register?! She walk/jogs up to Hinoiri and asks, "What do you think you're doing?! Don't just grab random cat fairies." Crossing her arms and taking on a lecturing tone, she adds, "Not everyone magical is going to let you off easy if you slap them, you know."

Ikuto gets a concerned glance and a smile, but in Madoka's mind it's Hinoiri who is messing with things she doesn't understand.

Hinoiri Kirara has posed:
Hinoiri Kirara rolled her eyes. "Spare me the threats. If numbers were enough to win against me I'd be long gone by now. And relax. I'm not going to hurt your little fleabag. If he'd just listened rather than biting me, I'd not have snatched the little brat. Frankly he's lucky I DON'T just smash the little miscreants for my finger."

Say what you will about Yoru, he bites hard.

"I want to know what you plan to do about--"

Aaaaaand right on time. Madoka. She glanced towards her and grit her teeth. "Get. Out. Of. Here. Kaname. You're interfering in things you *don't* understand. Though, judging by your grades that'd likely be a good amount of things you interfere with."

Then her eyes fell on Gretchen and she sighed. "Ah, great. And you brought your unwanted reject. How about you both get going. I just need to have a little talk with my friend here and then he'll get the little furball back."

Her temper, at least, seemed to be rising... and her hand was shaking with barely controlled anger.

Ikuto Tsukiyomi has posed:
Ikuto gives Madoka a quick smile. He wants her to know that he's okay. Maybe. At very least, he doesn't want her getting hurt because of him. If she got hurt he'd stop being calm.

"Madoka-chan, be careful. She's dangerous. You don't have to-" His voice cracked. Subtle, but just enough that it made him pause. He was actually worried about her getting hurt. Yoru was probably looking for any weakness in that mug by now, poking around with his little claws. They'd been through enough together that this didn't scare Ikuto. What scared him was the idea of one of his new friends getting hurt.

"You...it's one thing to mess with Yoru and I. That's nothing we haven't been through before. Keep your anger focused on us, though."

Madoka Kaname has posed:
Madoka gives Hinoiri a flat frown. Sure, as if it's the literal slayer of house-sized-monsters who is in over her head here, and not the quasi-normal person with anger management issues who can barely see magic. Her almost parental dismissiveness does, to her credit, come from a place of genuine concern. It's only in retrospect that she'll feel dumb about this. "Who put you up to this, Hinoiri? Easter? You shouldn't be messing with Obsidian, you know. There are fates worse than death, and those people will introduce you to them for the fun of it."

Then she leans in and asks, with a tinge of gentle concern beneath her growing exasperation. "Are they threatening you into this? You can tell me. Saya-chan still considers you a friend so I'd be willing to help you out."

Gretchen gives her Bearer a suspicious look at that last line. Madoka might be 'the nice girl', but there's a big difference between being sweet to a hospital patient and refusing to respond to a threat. The dark fairy doesn't even flinch at the reject line.

Ikuto gets a glance, which slowly becomes a slow turn and a headtilt. "Dangerous? Hinoiri?" Ikuto might be, in her mind, trying to be the noble knight in shining armor here; but she's pretty sure he's seen her fight before. The pinkette is genuinely confused at the idea that Hinoiri could even be a threat.

Which probably isn't that wise when it comes to the person who is literally Sunbreaker.

Hinoiri Kirara has posed:
Hinoiri Kirara growled, both hands shaking now as she tried to control her anger. Don't burst into flames. Dooooon't. No matter HOW much they all deserved it.

"Mad. O. Ka. Go... away," she snapped, glaring at him. "I'm not here for you. And if you want to know who put me up to this? His little sister," Hinoiri finally snapped.

"The one he abandoned and left behind. Who he selfishly betrayed. Who he--"

Then she stopped and just turned to look at Madoka. "You... legitimately don't know who I am, do you? No, you really don't know anything about me, do you? I'd call you a pink mop but I've seen buckets of mop water with more brain."

She then glanced towards Gretchen. Well, this was a bit nasty but... "You know, don't you think this is a bit beyond you, Kaname-chan? You're so, so far beyond your grade right now. I mean... you're talking to me as if I don't know what I'm doing, who I am. And here you are... a girl who's rejected her own 'dream'. Who's little 'chara' is so busy trying to cover for you, to protect you, that you haven't even noticed how much damage you're doing to her, have you? I'd assume you don't even care... but no. You're Kaname-chan. Lover of everyone, super special stupid friendship ho! And all, aren't you?"

"... Love everything except the little egg right behind you. The little creature that signifies a future you'd rather didn't even exist, doesn't she? Is that why she's still an x-egg? Not like the rest of your little action figures. No, she's just the one you left out in the cold, abandoned just like Ikuto did his little sister," she said, her voice dripping with venom.

"Don't talk to me about 'fates worse than death', Kaname... I've lived more of them than you could possibly imagine."

Ikuto Tsukiyomi has posed:
Yoru is carefully, quietly poking away at the mug for any weak spot. He knows Ikuto is only holding himself back long enough for him to get out of this stupid thing. "Let me out! It smells like watered-down coffee in here nya! Lemme out, lemme out! NYAAAAA!" the Chara yells from inside the mug.

Ikuto smirks. "Madoka-chan. You do realize that's Sunbreaker, right? I had a few doubts still until just now, but there's no mistaking that venomous tongue of hers. You may as well have a Chara hanging on your shoulder all the time for how subtle you are, 'Hinoiri'." He says the name with no respect at all, unlike how he addresses Madoka. His tone alone says everything about how little he thinks of her.

"Utau should know better than to keep trying to make me come back. Doing this without involving her in my plans is keeping her safe. It's making sure she has a roof over her head every night, unlike me. It ensures she doesn't have to look over her shoulder everywhere she goes. It means she can keep singing."

As he speaks his tail appears behind his back, swaying to try and get Gretchen's attention. Then he flicks it forward, in the direction of Hinoiri. Catboy has a plan...

Madoka Kaname has posed:
Madoka listens pretty closely to everything Hinoiri says. Her initial confusion at Ikuto's words turns to a dawning realization. She takes a step back. The pinkette doesn't really know who Hinoiri is still, but she knows enough.

"You're... one of them, aren't you?" her hands hang down to her side, and then grip into fists. Then, Ikuto confirms it by spilling the tea, thus changing the entire dynamic of this whole interaction. It actually stuns Madoka for a moment when she hears the news, and she gives Hinoiri a long, silent wide-eyed stare of shock.

Then, she looks down at the ground, and almost mutters. "How long, Hinoiri? Did Sayaka know? No... worse than that."

Gretchen floats slightly further away from Madoka. Her pink Chara Bearer has been getting more and more angry of late, but this is a new tipping point. A whole lot of things are coming to the surface that not even the X-Chara knew were there.

"You've been at this a while, haven't you? Did you just run away from Oktavia because you were too scared to show yourself to me? Did Sayaka-chan have to make a Contract just because you didn't want to reveal who you were?!"

Madoka had always wanted to be the nice girl. Really, she did. Not for the credit or the reputation or the compliments, but just because she genuinely thought that being full of love, hope and kindness was the best way to live. Now, in this moment, she's questioning that. It's here in this moment, that Madoka starts to realize what exactly it was about Hinoiri that she disliked so strongly. Why she skipped school for a day after their last confrontation instead of confronting her.

Hinoiri made Madoka reconsider a part of her personality that she considered core.

Gretchen crosses her arms and says, "You really don't want to get into the Horrible Fates Olympics with Madoka-chan."

"Hardship is not a contest. Not one that anyone should strive to win," tersely responds Madoka. Gretchen sticks her tongue out at Madoka but otherwise keeps silent. "And for the record, I do love Gretchen. She, and all my Chara, mean the world to me. Gretchen-chan has saved my life many times, and I'd do the same for her. She's risking everything just to be at my side and help me become the person that I want to be. I know I'm failing her, but don't you dare act like I don't care."

Gretchen, desperate to look at literally anything other than Madoka or Hinoiri right now, notices Ikuto's tail pointing and picks up on the signs. She lowers her mask over her face and gives him a nod. A play is about to be made here.

Hinoiri Kirara has posed:
Hinoiri Kirara took in a sharp intake of breath when Ikuto just... flat out revealed her identity. "You... you bas... tard... you don't just... out someone like that!" she snapped. "But no, I guess you wouldn't have the common decency for any of that, would you? None of you sparkle skirts ever do. You're always just so certain of how pristine and perfect you lot are. all think you're all sooooooo perfect, don't you? So much *better* than everyone else, don't you?"

She then turned to Madoka. "Yes, she knows. I--"

And then... however, Madoka's words actually did manage to shock her... And for a moment, she was speechless.

"I didn't... I didn't... run from Oktavia... I just... I couldn't... NO!" she finally screamed. "I didn't want her to make a wish! I NEVER wanted anyone to make a WISH! I couldn't transform because I was STUPID and I was trying to find ANOTHER WAY! If I hadn't been I could have gotten BOTH of us out of there! I couldn't even undo her STUPID WISH because that damn rat bag said my karmic potential wasn't STRONG ENOUGH! Because of course it wasn't! I'm not even supposed to exist in your STUPID WORLD! Horrible fates?! What do you know about horrible fates? You've been given everything, you spoiled little pink haired BRAT! Your best friend? She had to make a stupid wish. So YOU could learn everything about what they actually WERE without taking the risk yourself! Did you ever even TRY to help her? You always act like you're such a big, powerful, wonderful amazing little hero, don't you? But you know what? You're pathetic. You found a way around, not having to make a stupid wish, and yet still getting power."

"So you can fight all the witches you want, right? But did you ever even notice what was happening to her? What *I* was doing to her? I may not have been any good at it but at least I *was trying* to fix her! Which was more than you've *ever* done for those people you *supposedly* care for. Do you know what your stupid Gretchen was doing when I brought her to you in a stupid shoe box?"

"Putting her life on the line. For you. She's not supposed to *be like this*. Do you even know what dark energy is? What it feels like? It *hurts*. It *destroys*. But all you're doing? Is inflicting *your* weakness, your *pathetic* desire to be perfect on that little egg. Making *her* suffer so *you* can keep being as perfect as ever. As you *think* you are. Her hands can be tainted so *yours* can stay clean."

"Don't you dare act like I'm anything like you, Kaname. I would have protected both myself and Sayaka if I could have. I don't force my burdens onto *other people*. Because I'm *strong* enough to bear them."

The vitrol, the hate, the loathing... was clear in her voice when she glared at Madoka...

Entirely forgetting about the mug, about her little captive, hands loosely holding the mug.

However, her gaze shifted to Ikuto. "If you think Utau is 'safe' because you left her behind, you're even dumber than you look."

Ikuto Tsukiyomi has posed:
Ikuto can see it now quite plainly. Madoka, and his other friends too...they don't need him to worry about their safety so much. She's strong. They're strong. They choose to fight by his side because they're strong enough to handle themselves. They're not just risking injury or worse with no regard for themselves, like he does. "Damn, I'm a fool," he mutters. He doesn't really understand what Hinoiri is talking about, or who Sayaka is. Or all this stuff about wishes. There's a lot he doesn't know about what's going on outside of his own troubles.

What Ikuto knows for sure is that he's been steadily working one foot free of a shoe for the past minute or so. Bit by bit, carefully to avoid drawing attention even as the sneaker is nearly off. Then he calls out, "Gretchen-chan! Operation Ceramic Snatcher!" and with a soccer kick sends his shoe flying across the pavement at Hinoiri, aiming for her head.

Madoka Kaname has posed:
Madoka frowns at Hinoiri, then looks down and away. This is a lot to take in. Like, a whole lot. This is the first time that Hinoiri has ever actually really opened up to her, and Madoka would rather listen than try to talk over her.

Puzzle pieces are coming together. Various scattered clues are starting to make sense. It's actually Gretchen that speaks up. "I mean, she's right about one thing, Doka. If you weren't so busy trying to be perfect, you'd actually accept what I have to offer."

It's then that Madoka has a sharp intake of breath. "Me... trying to be the good girl... is what's hurting you?"

Gretchen, carefully watching Ikuto from behind her mask, responds, "I mean, that's a talk we can have later, but for now..." Ikuto gives the sign. A tiny Labyrinth portal appears over Hinoiri's head and unleashes a swarm of gnats. Gretchen lunges forward and throws her whole weight into pushing the mug out of Hinoiri's hands.

Madoka is stunned by the sudden action. She was too caught up in her feelings to really figure out what was going on. Terrified that Gretchen might get grabbed again, Madoka steps forward and does the first thing that comes to her mind that would draw Hino's attention away from her X-Chara.

Madoka slaps Hinoiri right across the cheek, or at least she tries to.

Hinoiri Kirara has posed:
Hinoiri Kirara gave a small nod. "Yeah, you are a fool," she snapped at him.

Then turned back to Madoka. "That's how it always is with people like you. You don't care who else you hurt, so long as you can make yourself feel so perfect, don't you? So you can be better than everyone else around you."

"Life isn't like that. You don't get to just... put the darkness in someone else and only wear it when it's convenient. Your little friend is figuring that out, and it's only a matter of time before she ends up just as broken as Oktavia. It--"

And then SHOE! She yelped, stumbling back, only for the mug to get swiped! She lost her grip, the coaster falling to the ground, mug flying away with the two chara and--

Slap. The hand hit her with such a ferocity it actually stunned her for a moment, her mouth falling open...

Then her eye twitched.

IT! WAS! ON!

Hinoiri lunged and proceeded to try and tackle Madoka and slap her right back and... and she was not a hand to hand fighter. But hey, she didn't henshin, at least. So... ummmm... that... that was... good... right?

Ikuto Tsukiyomi has posed:
The mug tumbles towards the ground..but then stops. One would think an invisible person had caught it just inches from the ground, but...no it was just Yoru inside, carrying the mug on his back as he floats away with it. "Someone get me out of this thing nya!"

Ikuto fistpumps when the shoe connects, and remarks "Damn," when Madoka slaps Hinoiri. Only now Hinoiri is tackling her, and the mug is floating away with Yoru in it, and there are gnats swarming around as it looks like this is about to...turn into a schoolgirl street fight? The catboy can only watch in confusion.

Then he starts cheering. "Um...GET HER MADOKA-CHAN! YEAH! COME ON KEEP YOUR HANDS UP!"

Madoka Kaname has posed:
If Madoka knew anything about Sunbreaker, it was that she had limits. Madoka was unwilling to fight Hinoiri before because the power difference was, in her mind, completely in her favor. Things are different now. On the other hand, if Hinoiri was willing to fight her out of henshin, then Madoka was going to hold to that same limitation.

It's in this moment that Madoka finally, fully, understands why things like the Geneva Conventions exist. There are times when conflict is needed but all-out-horror should still be avoided. If Sunbreaker isn't going to go as hard as she reasonably could, then neither will Madoka.

Aside from that? This has been a long time coming.

Madoka gets tackled, but it's surprisingly hard to get her off her feet considering her stature. Inai-sensei's classes are coming in handy for the moment in that regard. The next slap comes, and Madoka doesn't even come close to being able to avoid it. The crack of flesh hitting flesh causes several nearby head to turn. Giving Hinoiri an angry look, Madoka has no time to consider whether or not her cheek looks as red as it feels, and instead just grips Hinoiri's shirt by the collar and gives her another open-palm slap.

Gretchen's gnats vanish. She knows better than to let stray Familiars roam around, even if they are imitations. The X-Chara watches the slap fight behind crossed arms and her ghastly mask, looking for a moment like a judge in an underground street fight. "Heaven or Hell! Let's Rock!"

Medo is gonna have Opinions about how Madoka looks after this.

Hinoiri Kirara has posed:
Hinoiri Kirara was furious but.... well. Believe it or not? She truly did have limits. Ideas of fair play. And she wouldn't attack someone out of henshin inside her own henshin. But that slap? It hurt. And her cheek hurt. But she couldn't feel it right now. All she could feel was FURY. Rage and FURY.

The urge to destroy. It was REBOUNDING in her mind.

And Madoka didn't go down. Instead, the other girl was up and... well...

Hinoiri was PISSED! And when the other girl grabbed her shirt, her left hand reached up to grab the hand holding her shirt...

And another slap.

OKAY NOW IT WAS ON! MORE THAN BEFORE!

She punched Madoka in the ribs...

OW! Okay, THAT HURT! WHY DID IT HURT?! Right. Thumb OUTSIDE the fist and FINE!

And instead headbutt the other girl. Or, well, tried.

Ikuto Tsukiyomi has posed:
Ikuto's a bit amazed. For such a small girl, Madoka is holding up reasonably well. Though...

"Wow." Yoru has in the meantime escaped from the mug, leaving it sitting on the ground next to a nearby wall. The Chara comments, "Why are they just slapping each other, nya?" Ikuto shrugs. "I don't even know what that punch was besides wrong."

"Madoka-chan! Open-hand strikes! Hit her with the base of your palm!"

Madoka Kaname has posed:
One of the first thinks that Kyouka taught Madoka was how to break a grip, and it's been so ingrained into her mind by now that she almost does it without thinking. There are certain things, laws of physics, that can't simply be overcome by raw strength. Things like leverage or momentum. Madoka's caught arm releases the shirt and then twists and pulls against Hinoiri's grip, while her free hand pushes against the other girl, letting Madoka disengage for a moment long enough to break the grip on her wrist.

The punch hits her ribs, which seems to hurt Hinoiri already. Then the headbutt comes in and Madoka is just off-balance enough in that moment to not really be able to avoid it.

The way her body moves outside of henshin is almost disorienting. To think that she couldn't just super jump away...

Madoka takes a couple of steps back, then puts up her hands in a boxing stance. How was it that Makoto did it? Putting not only her fist, but her shoulder and the weight of her twisting body---

Before Madoka can make another step, there's a loud whistle. "Alright, you two! Break it off!" Madoka is stopped, mid punch, showing a form that an expert would be able to criticize but a teacher might still be proud of. It is, at the very least, clear that her brawling is better than her English.

Medo is there, suddenly flying between the two of them. "Break it off! Break it off! You both got some good hits in so call it even!" Then the tiny nurse-Chara points to Gretchen and also to Ikuto, "And you two, don't cheer them on!"

Madoka winces at her tiny chara, and then looks to see that Yoru is safe now. Looking at Hinoiri, she asks, "Eheh... Truce?"

Hinoiri Kirara has posed:
Hinoiri Kirara was... admittedly... a little dazed from hitting the other girl with her head. Note to self, don't wield your most valuable asset as a weapon. Also, learn to punch. She was gonna need to talk with Fuyuko about that later. Teach me how to throw a punch, senpai.

And then there was a chara there and--

She reached out on instinct, snatching the little critter out of the air and holding it tight in her hand. "Listen here you li--" And then let out a small cry of pain, releasing it.

Ow. Her thumb... She reached up, holding the hand. Then glared at Madoka, her own cheeks now all red from the double slaps she'd received.

"Kaname... I loathe you," she finally said, her voice cold. "It should have been you, not Sayaka, who had to make a stupid wish. No wonder the girl is so often screwed up. You cause so much pain to those around you that you don't even notice."

"I'm not even from this world and I've at least managed to understand the people around me somewhat. But you're so selfish the only one you can see is yourself. I don't want a truce with you. I want to pretend you don't exist. The only reason I don't just break your little flying omelettes is that I know it'd hurt Sayaka... but next time they show up and interfere with my work? They're not coming back to you. Ever. Understand?" she said, her voice cold and bitter.

Hinoiri then turned towards Ikuto, then glanced around. She let out a soft sigh of relief before walking to her mug and snapping it off the ground. "Cat boy. Your sister is in so much more danger now than she ever was before. When you left? You should have taken her with you. Now you've just left her to fend for herself in an organization filled with monsters. And not all of them are as nice as me. You all make me sick. You all think you're sooooo perfect... but you're all just hypocrites who don't even pretend to see the destruction you leave in your wake," Hinoiri said bitterly before turning to storm off. "Stay out of my eclipse zones, both of you, I'm done being tolerant with you."

Ikuto Tsukiyomi has posed:
Ikuto narrows his eyes. "I need to make my move on Easter soon, then. For Utau's sake. Wait what the heck is an Eclipse Zone? I-"

A whistle from down the street. No, two, or three. He isn't sure but he knows that sound well enough. "Police! Yoru, let's go! Madoka-chan, you go too!" and he starts running.

Madoka Kaname has posed:
Madoka frowns at Hinoiri's words. Even knowing the truth, she can't help but feel a bit... disappointed in her.

"Hinoiri-san, every day, after school, I go out to fight monsters. Some of those monsters are your fault, but most aren't. Then, when I'm done, I go volunteer at the hospital. When Klarissa-chan was suffering, I did and said everything I could think of to make her feel better, to let her know that she was loved and cared for regardless of how she felt about herself. I hunted next to her and gave her every Grief Seed we found, because I didn't need them. If you think that I don't care about people, about my best friend, then I think you have the wrong impression of me."

Madoka turns around as the sirens start to blare. With a frown, she remarks, "Now I'm running from cops... Some good girl I turned out to be." She henshins with Medo before the nurse-Chara can get into any more trouble, and then super-jumps away, because like heck is she gonna be fleeing the cops on foot.

Gretchen takes one last glance at Hinoiri, says, "You're not the only one who has serious problems, you know. Madoka-chan is dealing with things she can't even describe to people, let alone her enemies."

Then she vanishes into her own Labyrinth. She's not sticking around for this either.

Hinoiri Kirara has posed:
Hinoiri Kirara only felt more and more frustrated. More angry. How dare they--

CRUD! IT WAS THE PO PO! BOOK IT! She glanced towards the cops, before running off... down an alley...

And she was gone. Stupid Ikuto. Stupid Madoka.

Once again in the dusk zone she slapped her palm down on the ground.

"Yeah, you're so great Madoka," she said bitterly. "You can go out and fight monsters... I gave her grief seeds too. You aren't special. You aren't better than me. You or your stupid pets..." she snapped. Not that she could say it to Madoka's face now...

None of them understood. Madoka... couldn't understand. No. She'd never understood that, sometimes? You just had to get your hands dirty...

Regardless of the consequences.
