Bow has posed:
After the wrestling event last night, Bow was resting on the couch of his dorm room, making notes of things he wanted to do since arriving on this world. A list of ideas that were given to him by new friends - and his girlfriend. Things like Prom, Go Camping, and Learning How to Use Chopsticks were marked off, but there was one he could have sworn he had marked off, but realized, no. He didn't mark it off, because it had been interrupted.

- Movie Night with Sayaka

Grabbing his phone, he pulled her up on his contacts (she's his #1 contact) and sends a message off to her.

<PHONE> You text Sayaka Miki: Hey. You busy? I was thinking we could try to watch a movie together again, if you're okay to have company? I'll bring dinner. It can be a date, maybe?

Yes, still making sure she knows it's a date even if they are very much in a relationship.

Sayaka Miki has posed:
It just so happened that Sayaka was fresh off of a shower when Bow has sent her that message. The bluenette had gotten into a pair of blue trousers with a blue belt fastened into a ribbon in the front while for the top she had picked a sleeveless black shirt subtly dotted all over with the addition of a floral shirt while the part around the collar was transparent, while she hadn't worn any socks yet.

A smile forming on her face at the message, she quickly types a response.

<PHONE> Sayaka Miki texts Bow: I am not busy at all. This is a good moment for me. Home Date 2! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

A quick check up of the dorm room is performed while she waits for Bow to get there, but everything is in place, there is no dust anywhere, and the TV is working just fine.

Bow has posed:
<PHONE> Bow texts Sayaka Miki: Be there soon. Love you. <3

Stopping at the store's convience store to pick up some microwave popcorn and snacks, Bow arrived around thirty minutes after that last text, carrying with him a small bag of treats, some drinks, and a Blu-Ray case. He's dressed casually, a yellow crop-top, blue jeans and tennis shoes as he knocks on her door, and when she answers, he greets Sayaka with an affectionate hug and kiss, if she wants.

After that's done, he steps back and grins as he looks her over. "You look great." he admits with a warmth in his cheeks. "Anyway, found a movie! I can set everything up if you want to pop the popcorn?" And once he's in, he's ready to launch his devious plan!

Flashback, a few days ago: Bow, listening in on a conversation. "You know how I really got her to want to snuggle though? I got a scary movie, and everytime there was a jump-scare, she was all in my arms! It was great!"

Back in the present, Bow is opening the case for a space movie called Voices of Acheron and setting it up in the player as he adjusts the pillows on the couch as there's just enough room for him and Sayaka to be close together without any space between them. This is going to work so great, she's going to want to cuddle until curfew, he's sure of it!

Sayaka Miki has posed:
Both the hug and the kiss are accepted wholeheartedly when Bow comes in, the warm embrace with Bow and the sweet taste of his lips something the bluenette is never going not to enjoy. "Thank you", Sayaka replies when Bow compliments her for these clothes too, before acting in kind and pointing out his good choice of clothing too.

Grabbing the bag of popcorn from him, Sayaka takes in his request to prepare the popcorn while he sets up the movie he has already chosen. Not that they actually have a microwave in here, but likely that's not really a problem.

"Tramonto?" she calls out after filling the pan with them, the flame familiar not wasting any time with preparing them before going away and letting Sayaka bring them to Bow.

Bow has posed:
As Sayaka comes back to join him with the popcorn, he lets her have the corner of the couch so he can sit next to her. No escape, mu ha ha! Now that she's settled with the snacks and drinks are on ice, Bow starts the movie.

It opens on the sight of a shuttle with five astronauts approaching a space station that is supposedly derelict, and they are the salvage team that has been sent to check it out for valuables. Silent and vast, the stars twinkle against the infinite darkness. The derelict space station Acheron drifts ominously, a ghostly specter among the cosmic void.

The shuttle docks with the station and opens into a continous main hallway. Captain Jessica Winters, a resilient and pragmatic leader, leads her team of astronauts through the dimly lit corridors of Acheron. Tension hangs heavy in the stale, barely purified air as they navigate the eerie silence.

Jessica speaks over the radio, "Stay alert, everyone. We don't know what we might find here."

The team moves cautiously, their footsteps echoing ominously against the metallic floors. Suddenly, a loud CLANG echoes from a nearby room, causing them to freeze in their tracks.

Jessica gasps, "What was that?"

And she's not the only one that is gasping. On the couch, Bow's grand plan had been to spook Sayaka into getting closer. Instead, as he watches, he's totally the one that is getting closer, his hand in the popcorn to take a few kernels, but his eyes are wide, and when there's that clang, she'll feel him jump slightly against her, a sudden inhale of breath as he watches.

Sayaka Miki has posed:
Sayaka doesn't pick up on the "trap", since there really isn't anything to escape from, unaware of Bow's real intentions with picking that movie, and so she comfily settles onto the sofa while the bowl of popcorn she had prepared is silently offered to Bow with a nudge of her elbow. Once he is done taking them, Sayaka places the bowl on her lap while she waits for the movie to start.

The bluenette regards the screen with a raised eyebrow when she sees that it seems to be much more gritty than something she would have thought Bow would have picked (not that it is her idea of a date either), but she doesn't question it, instead waiting to see where it is going.

When Bow jumps and rapidly inhales air, Sayaka turns away from the screen and moving to hold her boyfriend's hand. "Is something wrong, Bow?"

Bow has posed:
When Sayaka takes his hand, Bow still has some bravery left. "Oh, no, no, nothing's wrong!" he manages quickly, a grin angled up at his girlfriend. "Are you o-okay?" he asks. Because she's the one that is supposed to be jumping in his arms, and so far, he's the only one jumping.

On the screen, the salvagers approach the source of the sound, weapons drawn. Inside the room, they find nothing but scattered debris.

Jonathon, a young and eager crew member, investigates a flickering monitor. "Captain, you need to see this." On the screen, grainy footage shows shadowy figures moving through the station's corridors.

Jessica frowns, "Are those...?"

Before she can finish her sentence, the lights flicker and die, plunging them into darkness.

Bow's hand tightens into Sayaka's and he's moving closer to her, as he feels his heart racing in his chest. "Why'd the lights go out?" he asks, frowning, eyes looking about as if trying to see if he can see past the TV to see if something is going to jump out. His other hand is done with the popcorn, pulling a pillow closer to him to hug with his free arm.

The scene shifts to the Acheron's engine room, where Sarah is an engineer hard at work to try to restore the power. As she works on the generator, she frowns. "This shouldn't be possible." she says to herself. "There's so many redundancies that... aha." Just as she turns on the power, a shadow grabs her and yanks her into the darkness as she screams in terror!

And both of Bow's arms fly around Sayaka's waist with a yelped "AAAH!", his face buried against her shoulder as he doesn't dare peek back out until the scene shifts again.

It seems that Bow's planned has started to backfire, and giving Sayaka a prime opprotunity to comfort her boyfriend.

Sayaka Miki has posed:
Sayaka is starting to think that maybe Bow didn't know what he was getting into when he picked that movie, or maybe it was just suggested to him without informing him exactly of what it was going to cover. She squeezes Bow's hand lightly as a measure of support when he replies he is fine and then turns that question on her.

"Yes, I am fine", the bluenette tells him. "It's not really a romantic movie, is it?" she adds while providing him an out in case he needs to take it. Because honestly, she is going to prod him to actually change it if he is unable to enjoy their date because of Acheron.

Bow shouting in fear has managed to startle Sayaka more than that the entirety of the movie so far, even if it's out of worry rather that anything else. "That's just the type of movie it is", she tells Bow, moving an arm around his shoulder for his comfort while he rests against her and he is pushed lightly towards the bluenette. "They are just bland tricks to make people afraid, but we don't have to watch it if you want. I am sure we can find something else."

Bow has posed:
"I'm okay, it's not real, right?" Bow repeats. He doesn't know, they had space travel where he's from, this totally could be real! "It's not a romantic movie, no..." he murmurs, finally peeking up from Sayaka's side as she wraps an arm around her, taking on the protective role that he wanted to take.

Back to the movie, The team's radios crackle to life with Sarah's screams as they scramble to regroup. Jonathon panics. "What was that?!" he yelps as he hears the screams, cocking his gun that he was carrying.

"Stay together. We need to find out what's on this station." Jessica warns as they continue down the corridor, racing toward the Engineering section where Sarah and Marcus were.

They come around a corner and into a room marked LABORATORY. They enter the dimly lit laboratory, filled with abandoned equipment and eerie specimens preserved in tanks. One of the tanks is shattered. Jessica draws in a breath, "What were they studying here?"

Before anyone can answer, a blood-curdling scream echoes through the room. They turn to see one of their own, Marcus, being dragged into the shadows by an unseen force.

"Marcus!" Bow and Jessica yell in unison. Dude only had like a few moments of scene time, and Bow was just that invested, and he is pratically curled against Sayaka's side as he nervously shovelling popcorn into his mouth to try to keep his nerves in check, "You're not scared are you, Sayaka?" he ventues. "We can stop the movie if you're s-scared."

He's not scared, she is!

Sayaka Miki has posed:
With what Bow had told Sayaka about his universe, she wouldn't be surprised if something like this could be real there (especially since, despite her best efforts, it is very hard to ignore the view Bow is currently offering her of that darned chip, that to her is scarier than anything she could possibly see in these movies.)

She has had a few nightmares like that after the discovery, of Bow walking around with a spent look in his eyes while that chip glowed a sickly green in an environment quite similar to Labyrinths while Crystal Hope loomed over the two of them, distorted not to look too different from the Witches she knew of and at the same time looking at her with beady red eyes.

Back to the movie, though, Sayaka blinks at Bow asking her if she is scared, revealing what exactly it's going on in his mind at the same time. He is really not enjoying this at all, is he? It is pretty much impossible for Sayaka not to feel sympathy towards Bow when his nerves are clear from a radius of 1 kilometer, and so the bluenette, despite not really looking the part, replies "Yes, I am scared", willing to let him have any excuse he may want.

Bow has posed:
When Sayaka mentions that she's scared, Bow buys it completely and holds her tighter to him. "I'll p-protect you!" he says in a way he hopes is reassuring (it's not) and his hand holds onto her as he squeezes it fondly. "They look kinda silly anyway..." some of her words are getting to him, and his own want to appear brave to her. At this angle, Sayaka can easily see the disc on his back of his neck - currently not glowing as it sits in place, anchored down into his skin.

And Sayaka has learned not to ask Bow about it, he's so adamant that he needs the connection, he's useless here otherwise, or something worse will happen to him. He's holding onto Sayaka, but he's not run from the room, so maybe it's not all bad. Plus, like this, her boyfriend is wanting to be very cuddly. Advantage: Sayaka.

Desperation grips Johnathon and Jessica as they gather in the command center, their numbers dwindling. Jessica has come to the realization that, "We need to find a way off this station. Now."

As they search for an escape route, they uncover evidence of a horrifying truth - Acheron was not abandoned, it was deliberately quarantined. Suddenly, the station begins to shake violently, threatening to tear itself apart as a countdown reminds the crew that there are five minutes before the base was going to overload and self-destruct. This causes Jessica to reiterat, "We're running out of time. We need to leave. Now."

They race towards their shuttle, eager to escape from the ship when suddenly, one of the walls falls in and a grotesque alien creature emerges from the shadows, its presence a chilling reminder of the horrors that lurk within Acheron.

Bow lets out a yelp and almost crawls into Sayaka's lap when the alien is revealed. "What is that?!"

Jessica and Johnathon fight their way past the alien, barely able to make it to the shuttle as it undocks from Space Station Acheron. With a final, defiant glare, Jessica activates the pod's thrusters, propelling it into the safety of space as Acheron collapses behind her.

The final shot of the movie is in the shuttle's cargo bay, where amongst the salvage they had pulled from the space station - an alien jumps from the container at the screen!

"AIEEE!" Bow yelps, falling back on the couch with several gasps for breath and holding up his hands in a karate like motion, preparing to defend himself from the alien that was surely going to jump through the screen!

Sayaka Miki has posed:
Sayaka is a bit disappointed that Bow hasn't taken this chance to change movies to something he is less scared of, but she can at least take heart in the fact he is looking a bit more comfortable with himself. "Yes, they do, like the dark corn plant when you were turning it into popcorn", Sayaka agrees, squeezing Bow's hand again after the Etherian does it too and eating a bit more of the ones in the bowl (which are 100% dark energy free).

At the same time, she hasn't stopped letting Bow cling to her and resting his head onto her, the bluenette's arm still around his shoulder while they watch the movie present the clash against an alien. "That is what filmmakers most often imagine aliens to be like, either that or funny green creatures with big heads and very long fingers", Sayaka comments with a snort while cuddling with her actual alien boyfriend who is nothing like that.

She isn't at all impressed with the classic jumpscare ending, she would have at least imagined they could have gone for a group of egg hatching into more of those murderous aliens, but no, of course there had inexplicably been another one all along. How typical. "Did you enjoy the popcorns?", Sayaka asks Bow, confident that he must have at least liked those.

Bow has posed:
As the movie ends, and Bow starts to finally coming back to Earth, and is totally Sayaka's alien boyfriend, though he hasn't completely realized that. The touch on his shoulder and her words are comforting as he draws in a breath. "I see..." he manages, another breath taken.

And then he realizes how close his girlfriend is. How cuddled in with each other they are. Her sweet breath on his hair, the feel of her heart in her chest, the warmth of her touch. And he feels himself blushing and flushed with warmth - but there's no pulling away. Instead, as she asks about the popcorn, he blinks a few times. Oh. Popcorn. Right.

"...not as much as the company." he says quietly to her, turning to face the bluenette. As he meets her blue eyes, any thoughts of the movie are forgotten as he's smittened by the sweetness of her smile, the concern in her eyes, the feel of her against him. And his breath is taken not from fear, but from affection. "...hi." he whispers.

Sayaka Miki has posed:
All in all, Sayaka enjoyed the experience once she could relax after seeing Bow not as scared as he had been at the start. Even if she feels like she is going to pick an actual romantic movie for the next time.

Still, the warmth of their bodies next to each other (she is actually glad she had just so happened to have a shower before he came here) and the clear affection in his voice turn this into a cherished memory too, one in which she will remember the signs of love being exchanged between the two of them.

"It was like that for me too", Sayaka warmly shares with Bow, looking at the affection coming from him with just as much affection coming from her eyes, her face moving closer to his as she invites him to share a kiss.

Bow has posed:
She totally gets to pick the next movie. Bow is terrible at picking movies as it turns out. Picking a girlfriend? He totally excels at that. As she gives him the silent invitation and go ahead, he shifts a little on the couch to be kneeling next to her. One hand rests on her stomach while the other comes around her shoulders to caress the back of her head.

And he leans in, tilting his head so his nose brushes against hers as they kiss, soft at first, but it will definetly ramp up within a few moments - and there will be plenty of kisses and cuddles before he has to leave for the evening because of curfew.
