Synopsis: Wako and Takuto have opinions about the fact that Sugata used King's Pillar, and got hurt. Sugata has opinions too.
Cast of Characters: Takuto Tsunashi, Wako Agemaki, Sugata Shindo

Takuto Tsunashi has posed:
Tauburn appears in his little bubble and texts Wawna to tell Wako they're going back to the house, and that Sugata is injured, and that Tiger and Jaguar will need the first aid kit, and that in Takuto's opinion Wako should get first shot at actually yelling at Sugata. After all, Tauburn's listening.

"For now," agrees the redhead.

As for Takuto, there is regret that Sugata's in pain, but only regret, given that Sugata has hit Takuto with the edge of a King's Pillar while Takuto was not apprivoised, aaaaand given how many times Sugata has dragged him out of bed on a Sunday morning to beat each other with sticks and continues to do so, aaaaand how many times Takuto's been injured something like that while apprivoised--

It isn't really that far, at that speed, before Takuto and Sugata are landing right in front of the open doors and Takuto carries him inside.

And kisses his stupid blue head.

Wako Agemaki has posed:
Wako had mainly been stewing over whether or not she should have gone along with Takuto, even though she can't fly nearly as fast. The message relayed from Tauburn to Wawna settles the matter and gives her a whole new thing to be anxious about.

At least this, though, is something she can act on. By the time they've reached the house, Tiger and Jaguar are ready with a somewhat excessively complete first aid kit between them.

Wako is waiting, too, with her hands on her hips.

Sugata Shindo has posed:
Sugata is carried in the blurring whir of Takuto's power, and his eyes stay on his boyfriend as they fly, rather than trying to trace the world beneath them, being left behind in a blurring haze. He aches, but it will heal - the blood is already slowing, given the nature of the wound, and at this point he's sure the stitches - if Jaguar and Tiger insist on stitches - will hurt more than the wound itself.

And then they land, and Wako stands there, hands on her hip.

Ah. He was wrong. The scolding will hurt much more than the stitching, or the wound.

"I maintain," he says, struggling to maintain dignity in a princess carry, "That I did nothing wrong, and am entirely in the right."

Takuto Tsunashi has posed:
Takuto does not put Sugata or his dignity down until Tiger and Jaguar show him where to. "Are you ever entirely in the right for using bully-force King's Pillar?" he asks, making a slightly sour face -- he can be less distressed now that they're back home. "What do you even call that? That wasn't full force, the crater wasn't nearly as big."

There's a beat. "Oh. You're going to need to lose the henshin. And they're going to need to take your pants off." He glances aside at Wako, then to Tiger and Jaguar, then back to Wako.

Wako Agemaki has posed:
"This way, please, Takuto-san." Tiger is the one who speaks up first, and she leads the way with purpose to one of the nearest spare rooms - no sense going all the way to Sugata's own room just to ruin his ridiculously expensive sheets with blood or anything like that. Jaguar follows close behind, toting the first aid kit, Wako trailing in their wake doing her best to maintain a full head of annoyed steam so the worry doesn't swamp her.

As Takuto's setting Sugata down, Jaguar holds up a pair of scissors. "Leave it to us." Her glasses glint ominously.

"Maybe it would be better to wait to come out of apprivoise, if you're going to ruin a pair of pants." In the doorway, Wako has turned to face out into the hall, looking very out of sorts now. "Does it work like that?"

Sugata Shindo has posed:
"I just call it King's Pillar," he says, in true obnoxious fashion, "And it wasn't full force; it was supposed to knock Sunbreaker down. I wasn't expecting a lizard in her place." Of course he was right to do it, and it doesn't count as bullying if there's a battle afoot.

"I have to agree with Wako-chan. If I'm going to have to disrobe, why ruin a perfectly good pair of pants?"

Except, there's Jaguar's glasses glinting, holding up a pair of scissos, and there are very few people who fancy a pair of scissors in that region. And these military-esque dress pants are fairly tight, and with his injury, there won't be any shimmying them off -

"Never mind."

There's a sparkle of light, and Ginga Kingu becomes Sugata Shindo - and yes, his pants are indeed looser than his henshin ones, like this, and the scissors seem less necessary - or at least less threatening now. "I'll undress myself, thank you veryow."

The last is an unintentional gasp of pain, because as it turns out, getting out of pants when your hip is injured hurts, even when the pants are loose.

Takuto Tsunashi has posed:
"Bully force," nods Takuto, crossing his arms and failing to face the hallway. "So how about the whole story? Sunbreaker was absolutely there by the time I got there, and she definitely set you at least partly on fire. To the point that it actually hurt you. I guess she was upset about the lizard person? Anyway I really want to hear how you put this."

He glances aside to Wako, lifting his eyebrows. Apparently he is of the opinion that Wako scolds better. He's probably right. She knows how.

Wako Agemaki has posed:
"I wanna hear it, too," Wako says tartly, still in the doorway and very determinedly facing away while Tiger and Jaguar - the latter having mercifully put the scissors aside - get to work with brisk and well-trained efficiency. "And you'd better start at the beginning, because I only got as much of the story as you felt like texting us. How'd you get from fighting a creepy bug youma to Sunbreaker setting you on fire?"

Sugata Shindo has posed:
"You got the highlights of the story," Sugata says, as his pants are stripped away. He feels absolutely no shame (and actually a decent amount of relief) as the scissors are put away, letting Jaguar and Tiger get to work with minimal squirming and shifting. "But essentially, I went to Dream Kingdom to see if it was worth visiting with the two of you, and a youma attacked. I killed it with Diamant, was swarmed by a crowd of children who thought I was a knight and wanted my autograph, and then Sunbreaker showed up in the crowd, watching."

He pauses, hissing through his teeth as there's a tug at his hip, as the wound is cleaned and examined -

"I convinced them to wake their tour guide back up, and as they were leaving, Sunbreaker admits it's her youma, summons a second one - giant snake - and the kids are still there." He shrugs. "So I used King's Pillar... and she's not Sunbreaker. They're some lizard person, who's also dying, and then Sunbreaker arrived to take them away, which is around when you arrived."

Wako Agemaki has posed:
"You should've had us come back you up!" Yeah no Wako's not buying the perfect reasonableness of his story. She's got her arms folded now, lips pursed in aggravation. "At least let me put up Zero Time before you start using the King's Pillar. Or did you already forget why it took us so long to convince your family to let you leave the island? If this keeps up, they could change their minds!"

Takuto Tsunashi has posed:
Takuto himself finally drops his apprivoise and takes a half-used lollipop out of his pocket. Unwrapping it, he leans his head against the doorframe and gives Wako an approving look, then sticks the lollipop in his mouth.

"... and Sunbreaker's serious business when you don't challenge her to a dance-off. So maybe challenge her to a dance-off. Or name me your champion instead of your apprentice and I'll fight her for you. In a dance-off," he says, relishing every word like they're flavored like a watermelon jolly rancher. "She's a dark general, Sugatakun. She's just getting more powerful. If you're going to play with fire, at least use her flaws against her."

Sugata Shindo has posed:
"Well, I wasn't planning for a monster attack," Sugata says bluntly, "When I took out the first youma, I didn't realize there were civilians around. But the second time, I did. And so did they. Ten kids and a tour guide vs a giant snake and Sunbreaker. How long would it have taken you to get there?"

He's not even saying it accusatorily. He's just laying out the facts of the situation as he sees them.

Sunbreaker wasn't going to be taken out by that; the youma was. That was the point. I'd get her focused on me, and if need be, then I would call in the support. But there wasn't time to wait for the two of you while I fended them off with Diamant, so I made the call that I could. And if my family objects, I'll remind them that protecting people with the King's power is what they agreed I could use that power for."

Wako Agemaki has posed:
"Ugh!" Here's where Wako literally throws up her hands. Forgetting completely that she's not looking, she whirls around in the doorway to pin Sugata with an aggravated stare. "Do you always have an answer for everything? Apprivoise."

Right there in the open doorway of the spare room turned temporary makeshift medical clinic, Wako transforms, glittering pink light giving way to the white-and-gold of her Galactic Maiden uniform. In the next moment, most of the room is engulfed in a sphere of soft, rosy radiance. Not that there's anything to purify, here - but the gentle healing effect that comes with it, subtle as it is, still warms and soothes.

"In that case," says Wako, "maybe you need to work on ways to use Samekh's power besides the King's Pillar and King's Counter. I bet you could, if you try."

Takuto Tsunashi has posed:
"Yeah, you already developed King's Counter, why stop there?" agrees Takuto, finally getting tired of talking around the lollipop and popping it out of his mouth. "But I'm serious about Sunbreaker. Let us help you."

A beat, and he glances at Wako and looks considering, for a moment. "We should practice flying places together. If you're hovering and I'm hanging on to you, instead of me carrying you, we might be faster. We can time ourselves."

He snaps his fingers and points to Sugata. "You apprivoise somewhere in the city and we find out how long it takes for one or both of us to get there. Yeah?"

Sugata Shindo has posed:
Sugata opens his mouth to answer, pauses, consdiers the rhetorical nature of the question and the fact that it is undoubtedly a trap to give an answer - and decides not to speak. Especially once Wako's radiant light softly shines, giving everythign the soft, soothing touch of her healing. It's familiar enough to soften the line of Sugata's shoulders, as he breathes in, out, in -

"I would agree with you there. King's Pillar is too effective outside of Zero Time, and my family will threaten to cut me off if I have to keep making charitable donations."

New attakcks. New applications of his power, beyond the Counter, beyond the crushing force that is King's Pillar. Something... targeted, maybe.

"...that's a good idea. Maybe I do have something to plot for my future," is that a smile he's giving Wako? Is he recalling their conversation about the future now? And then Takuto is mentioning that he needs to let them help, and that. ...that is true. "Yes, alright, I won't take on the flaming girl alone. Unless I have to. And even then, I'll try to buy time until you're there."

He's pointed at, and he considers the idea for a second - "Alright. Yes, we'll test it."

Wako Agemaki has posed:
Wako stares him down a little longer, not quite willing to let go of her mad just yet... but eventually, gradually, her expression softens and the taut set of her mouth relaxes into something a bit nearer to a smile. "Okay," she says with a little dip of her head. And then she looks to Takuto and grins. "Sounds good. Sugata-kun will have to take it easy while he heals up from this anyway, so it's a good chance to use him as a target."

Takuto Tsunashi has posed:
"And when he's done healing up, we can use him as a target at Fite Nite," Takuto says, satisfied. He considers some more, working on his lollipop for a second, then nods. "Acceptable," he judges, doing a passing fair Sugata impression. Passing fair, not really good, kind of half-assed. But fair. "And we'll have to work on ways to beat her together... maybe we can work with someone else who has shields and someone who has fire, and try to take them down if they're working together."

Then Takuto waves a hand around like he's dismissing the air, and sticks the lollipop back in his mouth. "It's fine we'll work it out. Stop giving us heart attacks though! Unless that's your actual plan with all this."

Unless it's revenge for all the heart attacks they gave him while he was on the island.
