Big Bad Wolf Beat Down

Synopsis:	Greta Legend and Coco (AKA: Yellow Pearl Voice) teach a Big Bad Wolf to back off.

Greta Legend has posed:
The streets of Tokyo are a rather busy on most days, and to be fair to Tokyo, it IS a Major metropolitan population center, so it does have a great many people. So it tends to be really weird when most of the population just sorts of... Fades away... They were here, and now they weren't...

The sky goes a dim red, but not dark, per se. Threatening was a better way to put it... But nobody was around except for a Japanese woman in her twenties, dressed in a nurses uniform, who was frantically trying to find an open door, and looking over her shoulder, seeing in the corner of her eyes an increasingly distorted figure just casually stalking her.

"~~Where are you going, nee-chan? You ain't finding anyone that's gonna let you in today...~~"

The figure says in a sing-songy voice, it might have been a man's? But the figure looked less like a man and more like a bestial figure, like a wolf-man, eyes red glaring at her with a slavering maw.

"~~I just need your pure heart... That's all they said I need, and then I'll become something greater... Ehahahaha!~~"

The nurse, trembles and shakes at the door handle. Why was nobody around? She needed help!

Coco Kiumi has posed:
Coco had been going around the city, shopping for some everyday necessities she might need. She is still on a very good mood from the mochi preparation demo she did with her friends. By now everything was about done, so she is going back to the dorms, a smile on her face. 'I wonder if I should make a trip to Nounamu Sweets.' She still hadn't finished the present Chiyo's grandpa had given her, but she figures she could show some thanks of her own for the experience.

The sky becoming red cancels those thoughts from her mind. 'Huh? A demon now? How do I keep all people safe...', she starts thinking, looking around frantically. 'By myself...' she ends the thought with stupor, looking at the completely deserted street. 'Where did everyone go? Either everyone got whisked away, or I am in one of those microrealities like the labyrinths. But why make one so similar to Tokyo?'

For now she decides to proceed with the assumption that this is the monster's world, due to the red sky. She starts walking rapidly, searching for any sign of monster activity, not really picking up on anything until a chilly scream reaches her ears. With the instinctive understanding that someone is in danger, she instantly shouts "Yellow Pearl Voice!", invoking the power of her pearl, her clothes being replaced by a kaleidoscope of colours under the effect of the shining light, then her yellow-themed boots, gloves, blouse and skirt appear as her hair gets longer and blonde, her E-Pitch microphone in hand.

She starts running through the direction of the scream when she sees a woman desperately trying to open a door. Coco picks up speed, crashing into the lupine to get him out of balance, the going up to the woman and forming the Live Stage around the two of them, the sphere of white light lifting them up into the air.

The Wolfen Creature stalking the nurse is focused on his prey, cackling as he makes his approach, raising his claws up ready to swipe down... Until it gets on the receiving end of a collision by Coco, sending it crashing into the ground! The Nurse, having been saved from immenent mauling, passed out from the fear of the moment, and collapses onto the stage.

"Gaagh! What the hell-?! The Grimm-scape should be impenetrable!" He roars out, as he picks himself back up, and looks up at Coco, "Are you kidding me..? Who are you supposed to be little girl?" He asks, albeit his eyes are now focused on Coco more immediately, before shaking his head, "Whatever... You're in my way, kid! I need her heart!" He gets down on all fours, growling before moving into a sprint and leaping into the air to make for Coco's stage, with claws stretched out to aim at Coco


"NOT TODAY!"


Another voice rings, as a red streak collides into the Wolfen Creature, and sends the monster crashing into a nearby building. The streak goes still, and there dropping back to the ground is a girl, blonde ringlest hair, red cape, red boots and cloves, a yellow skirt, and a what looks to be a techno axe. Notably she's wearing a red mask over the top half of her face.

"Gah! The ACTUAL Hell IS today?!" The Wolfman screams out, before crawling out of his crater.

Coco Kiumi has posed:
"I am Yellow Pearl Voice, one of the seven princesses sent by the goddess Aqua Regina to ensure peace, monster! And you who dare trample upon it are about to run back with the tail between your legs, with no heart or anything from her", Coco says, before the monster lunges at her.

She is about to try a dodging maneuver with the Stage, before a red streak makes any such thing pointless. "Nice intervention!", Coco yells to the new arrival, smiling at her before looking back at the monster emerging from the crater.

"My powers are about songs that hurts evil and repels darkness and weariness", she tells the other girl as a very quick explanation. "I will provide support like that, while I keep the woman safe up here. Splash Dream: Pichi Pichi Voice, Live Start!" Yellow Pearl Voice declares, instantly moving onto the active part of her plan.

The magical sound of her voice instantly zeroes in on the big bad wolf, a bane for his demonic nature and a promise that turns even the raging wind into a chorus of blessings, a prayer that shoots through the transparent love that surrounds the seven seas.

The girl in red with the axe actually blinks a little and looks towards the other girl, and stares a moment, "Wait, what..?" That's when a disembodied voice from her axe speaks up, granted it seems to be distorted in a way that makes it sound like three different voices. < You have an ally, Little Red. The Ally's power is indeed decreasing the enemy's strength. Take Advantage of this chance!> Causing the girl to growl, "You don't have to tell me what to do--"

She then hears the roar of the Wolfen Creature and leaps backwards in time as her dives for her, claws driving into the ground creating impact. "~~GHHFRRRR! Don't ignore me! When I'm done tearing you apart, I'm going after the yellow girl next!~~" His breath ragged as Yellow Pearl Voice's magic is taking its toll.

The girl in red grits her teeth, and calls over, "Is singing all you do? Not complaining but---" She leaps and dodges another charge, as the axe says < ADLERFLUG > Her cape bellowing and allowing her increased speed as she takes to the air with a flap of the cape turning into almost wings. "I just want to make sure my options aren't just going full JAEGER." Dropping the German Word into her conversation.


The Wolfen Creature growls and leaps towards a lamppost, growling and flailing as her leaps for the stage now. "~~ GET DOWN HERE!! ~~"

Coco Kiumi has posed:
'Looks like the other girl's weapon is also her mentor', Coco thinks as she picks up on what the axe's three voices are saying.

Coco isn't going to stop singing and dancing, so there really isn't anything she can answer Little Red besides giving her a nod and a gaze that roughly meant a calm "it's working, though".

When the other magical girl talks about going full Jaeger, taking it to mean going all out, Yellow Pearl Voice does stop singing for a risky second telling her "He is going to lose eventually, but if you want to you can." She quickly resumes her musical assault on the monster, not really wanting to give him any space.

To the credit of the monster's resilience, he does take a chance to attack despite being hurt by her song, leaping at her by a lamppost. Were she by herself inside the Live Stage, or at least together with someone conscious, Coco would have simply dismissed the Live Stage and let gravity do the rest before reforming it and saving herself from the fall.

But with things as they stand, she can just try the dodging maneuver she was about to execute earlier, the Live Stage just barely fast enough to dodge the monster's strike, a mere centimeter away from the sphere of white light, before floating away to a safer distance and continuing to sing, the magical energy of her voice continuing to pick a fight with the darkness of the monster.

The monster roars once more crashes to the ground when Coco dodges, and growls shuddering and screaming in a pained voice as he picks himself back up, "~~You're not getting away from me! I need her heart! GIVE IT TO ME!! HGGRR!~~" Before lurching and straining, the musculatur on his body starting to warp, as its limbs become asymetrically bigger and smaller, before leaping for a building wall, trying to climb up it and using its to vault towards the stage once more.

All while the the girl in red goes dashes in now and with a swing of her axe, the blade glowing with green energy, sheering into the arm and using the force of the swing to send it back to the ground, all while commenting, "Something's wrong... Dreiseelen, what's going on?"

< Dark Energy appears to be becoming unstable. Recommend finishing the enemy. Analysis complete: Non-human entity. Recommend Full Force. > "Full force? If you say---"

Her conversation is interrupted by the beast, opting this time to leap up and grab the girl down to the ground, sending them both crashing in a spin, pinning her down as it roars, "~~Her heart, YOUR HEART, it makes no difference!~~ It's everything the girl can to to keep the beast held back. "BUGGER!"

Coco Kiumi has posed:
Coco starts worrying when the wolf starts going through a warp spasm, especially since she barely dodged the strike previously. She tries to bring the Live Stage further away from the monstrosity, feeling within her it's probably going to be futile. 'If he is powering up, I think I should go Super Idol too', Coco thinks, worrying if she can both transform and getting her stronger song to affect the youma before it leaps at her. She is spared this decision by Little Red's intervention, who sends the monster flying with a well-placed strike of her axe.

Coco flashes the other girl a smile of thanks as she keeps up her singing routine, but this quickly turns into a frown of worry as the wolf gets back up and lunges at Little Red, the girl barely managing to keep the monster away from her.

"Leave her alone, beast! You aren't having anyone's heart today. I am the princess of the South Pacific Ocean, and by Aqua Regina's sincere wish, you won't hurt anybody here." The bracelet on her wrists starts shining with a white light by Coco's will as a yellow halo starts descending downward from from her head. Her blouse gets adorned by frills, while a ribbon appears on her back and the flowy double-layered fabric of her gloves extends.

"Time for an Encore! Mother Symphony: Pichi Pichi Voice, Live Start!"

The magical notes swell up in energy and reach, giving strength to the tired and moving to repel evil at once, talking of taking control of worn-out wishes, a call to give a sad heart the mother's lullaby, its seven-pitched melody a call to let everyone know you're fighting with your soul's pride.

The beastial entity growls as he tries to maul off Little Red's face, the girl's attire made of sterner stuff than it looks, but when Coco powers up to the next level, the power of the song begins to affect it more perceptably, as his body seems to begin to smoke and thrash, pained screams coming from its maw, "~~GGRHRAAAGH! NO! I WON'T BE SENT BACK! GIVE ME---!~~"

It's enough for Little Red to shove the beast off finally, and then launches herself to her feet, before saying, "Full force it is then! Allright, Big Bad Wolf! Time for you to sod off! Dreiseelen! Do your thing!"

The axe begins to transform, its axehead shivering so that the magic blades go out, it extends into a length beam of energy which materializes into a larger axe-head, as Little Red calls out, "HIMMELSPALTEN"

And then she swings the massive tomahawk, shearing through the warping beast, up the middle, sending it screaming.

"~~NO...! NOT LIKE THIS! I WAS GOING TO BE...! AARNNNGHHH!~~"
And the beast disappates entirely, vanishing into the aether.

And then the sky begins to turn from Dim to natural blue daylight, as the reality reasserts itself in the area, the damage to the buildings being the only thing that reality was catching up to the condition in the fight.

Little Red breathes heavily, catching her breath, before looking to Coco, and says, "We should move..."

Coco Kiumi has posed:
Coco lowers the Live Stage to the ground after Little Red's attack completely annhilates the youma. She looks at her with worry as she remembers how the wolf was pinning her down and threatening to kill her.

She raises the unconscious woman with difficulty after the red girl urging them to move, leaning her against her back and dragging her as they move outside the building.

"Are you alright, uh... Sorry, what I can call you?" she asks her unexpected ally as she catches her breath. "I go by Yellow Pearl Voice, but you can also use any variation of that, since it's kind of a mouthful. Anyway, I hope that monster didn't hurt you."

Once moved to a better location, and the civilian put into a safey place, the response is terse and to the point, "I'm fine... we all lived, that's the important part... As for what you can call me..."

< Little Red. > Interrupts Dreiseelen, her apparently intelligent weapon, which converts into something more resembling a staff now, which the girl in red, still masked, glares at the thing, "It's not 'Little Red'. He's been calling me that ever since he... Woke up? Activated? I don't know, he's kind of scrambled."

< Most unkind. >

"Sod off, you..!" The girl tells it off, before looking to Coco and takes a breath, "Well... I hadn't really thought the whole secret identity thing through too thoroughly... I've been going through a list of..." She then stops and shakes her head, "'Red' is fine for now... Now that this fight is over, we can move on."

She turns as though to just leave, but stops midstep, and then asks, "Your magical technique... That's way different than what I expected. Thought it would be more like my style." She then shakes her head. "Not important.."

Coco Kiumi has posed:
"I hope you don't mind if I call you Scarlet", Coco says in response with a nervous laugh. "I am already calling someone else by the name of Red, and it would be confusing if we ever were to chat with other."

She looks back at her pearl on her E-Pitch as soon as the other magical girl mentions her magical technique. "You could say that technique is out birthright, as well as the foundation of we who are the princesses of Aqua Regina are."

Coco really doesn't want to say anything more considering the risks for her, so she takes her leave. "It has been a pleasure to meet you. I hope we get to meet under better circumstances next time, but I have to go now. See you." With that, the mermaid princess hovers away on her Live Stage somewhere unseen before going back to her human form.

Little Red nods and with a flap of her cape zips off herself, making her way a bit of a distance before landing herself in safety, and dismisses her barrier jacket, which includes the mask. Now dressed in a Red Blazer, the girl takes a breath and leans against the wall. "So there are others out there... Actual magical girls..."

< Allies are valuable. You should maintain contact, Little Red. >

Greta Legend just groans, "Shush you, stop calling me that... And stop insisting that I make friends. Get my hopes up..."

She then takes a breath and starts walking.
