359/TSAB meets TSSS

From Radiant Heart MUSH

TSAB meets TSSS
Date of Scene: 04 September 2023
Location: Plot Room 1
Synopsis: Agent Harlaown lost a lot of blood in the fight. Fortunately, Sailor Pluto found most of it. She then checked if he could survive some stress tests.
Cast of Characters: Setsuna Meiou, Chrono Harlaown

Setsuna Meiou has posed:
Just like any other school of note (especially one with a swank budget like this one), Radiant Heart Academy has an infirmary to take care of any students that manage to get themselves in minor scrapes and to triage and treat students who manage to hurt themselves more severely pending transfer to somewhere where higher-order care is available.

At least, that's the general rule. Given the budget Radiant Heart boasts, the infirmary's a bit bigger and more well appointed than most. There are several beds (which are currently not in use) and to an eye familiar with the medical world, there's enough well-laid-out kit that it's quite likely that, in extremis, one could actually do surgery here.

Which is fortunate, because it seems that tonight, that assumption is going to be put to the test.

Using the power of her Senshi bindings, Setsuna sets what is likely a new land speed record for non-motorized travel on her mad dash from the site of the crash back to the school. Fortunately, she doesn't spend much of it actually 'on foot'. Most of the distance is actually covered in extremely long running leaps combined with rooftop running. She manages to use herself to shock absorb as much as possible...so the ride isn't TOO much more traumatic.

As she gets to the school, she twists her hand, pulling a smartwatch out of subspace and she speaks to it, "Niti-chan, coming in hot. Open windows."

The voice command engages what is basically just a well-tuned connected home setup, and one of the windows into the infirmary opens up, letting Sailor Pluto slip in before she calls to her control, "Lights on. Blackout mode."

The lights to the infirmary come on a moment before all the blinds automatically adjust to let no light out as the Senshi runs over to one of the beds, laying Chrono out as she grabs her trauma kit...then she's immediately using gauze to staunch the bleeding while quickly ripping open an insant blood type tester.

It's WORRINGLY easy to get a sample, and she waits the few moments to get a read while she works to stabilize the small TSAB agent...hopefully he's not some wierd alien bloodtype.

Chrono Harlaown has posed:
Chrono Harlaown is not, in fact, a strange alien bloodtype. His blood type was A. At least that was simple. But the wounds were... severe. He was midway through the gauze when his eyes opened slightly. "Who..." he asked softly. And then instinct took over.

His right hand opened and a... 3d... image... a 3D ID badge. "Space... time... administration bureau... enforcer... Chrono... Harlaown... reporting... stand down... juris..."

Annnnnd he was unconscious again. Yeah. He... he had very, very little blood in his system right now.

Setsuna Meiou has posed:
The moment she saw Chrono has a normal blood type, Pluto is bolting across the room. She ducks into a closet where she keeps a small supply of blood. She grabs all the A and O type blood that she has, then is back out, quickly runs an IV and starts getting some blood back into Chrono while she fights to KEEP it there.

No small feat, given the wounds he'd recieved both tonight and earlier.

Still, with blood going in to keep further ground from being lost, it's mostly a matter of time.

Thus, over the next hour or so, the Senshi systematically begins working her way from wound to wound, bandaging and binding the more shallow cuts, and stitching up the ones that are deeper. While there's a fair amount of tissue damage, the biggest problem looks like it's blood loss, which the pints going into the small agent are mostly fixing.

A few bone-deep cuts are here and there, but the new ones aren't anywhere with major arteries, fortunately, just being cuts that lacerate across the ribcage almost to the bone...two centimeters closer and the poor boy would have been split open stem to stern...that tiny slide back he made just before Fate's attack made all the difference between a medical bed and a body bag.

Still, the distance WAS made...and thus, Sailor Pluto is able to stich the young man up...and it's fortunate that stiching is a particular skill of hers, as she's able to run her sutures very fine indeed...meaning scars won't be as severe...and with perhaps magical healing available as well?

Perhaps not even that.

Finally getting Chrono stable, Pluto drops into a chair nearby and takes a few moments to just recover.

She sits there for a good few minutes, then lets out an explosive sigh and pushes herself back to her feet, then goes over to another cabinet nearby.

She hates to do it, because the young man is going to NEED to sleep to recover...but given that he's ALSO a quite powerful mage, having him come to suddenly in an unfamiliar place could lead to really bad consequences.

Thus, she prepares a mild stimulant to give him. It won't last terribly long, but it SHOULD wake him up long enough that she can hopefully get him to the point where he won't come out swinging when he wakes up again later.

Chrono Harlaown has posed:
Chrono Harlaown would open his eyes and... she'd see it. When his eyes opened. He was aware. Not panicked. He glanced around a few moments, before looking up towards her. Then to the right, then the left. Finally... "Should... I be thanking you?" he asked.

Seemed he was relatively calm, even in situations like this. Maybe his rank was well earned, despite his condition.

"Everything... hurts, but I'm alive. I don't see any armed guards and... my device is still with me. So I assume you're not one of Testarossa's henchmen," he said, his words calm, gentle. Running through things bit by bit. Trying to run a scan on himself. It returns a summary, more or less, that he got screwed up.

"You're alone, I don't see any medical personal aside from you. That... errr... outfit doesn't appear to be those of a medical professional, while judging by the fact I'm still alive and am only in an incredible amount of pain, likely means you certainly are. That and... all the... blood. I hope that didn't come from inside me. I... am not sure I'd have any left. But I take it... you are one of this world's many magical people I have heard so much about?" He took a slow, lingering breath.

He was, admittedly, struggling to keep his own thoughts focused. While he had said those things to her... a lot of the reason she said it was because saying it out loud allowed him to process it.

"So, I do believe I should thank you, miss...? Oh..." And then he opened his palm and, once more, the holographic identification card came out. "Time space administration bureau Chrono Harlaown..." he said.

He... he really hoped all that blood wasn't his. Because even in space they had the stories about 'waking up with a person covered in blood' and while he COULD move... oh, everything hurt. Everything hurt a *lot*. And blood did NOT suit the tall angel of dead standing over him. Pretty though she was. He did not want to move again for... a week. A week sounded nice.

Setsuna Meiou has posed:
Sailor Pluto just reaches over and shifts Chrono's bed to a slightly 'sitting' position before she flops down into the chair next to his bed. If for no other reason that because it's easier for him to carry on a conversation that way and she's fairly certain he's going to need to absorb quite a bit of info as quickly as possible.

She takes a moment to rub her face...in the process smearing a few more drops of blood on her cheeks, but by this point, she's beyond caring. She's aware that since none of it's hers, it'll all go away when she de-henshins, but he probably doesn't.

As he asks his questions, she tilts her head back to look at the counter behind her, then reaches back to grab a few generic bottles and a bottle of water. As she fiddles with the safety caps, she starts answering, "First off, congratulations. That is an excellent, first-rate summary. No, I'm not with 'Testarossa', whoever that is."

Well, beyond the young blonde girl in one of the lower grades...but the way the name was said implies some kind of 'higher up' instead of a preteen girl.

Finally, she drops three little orange pills into the cap, then hands that and a bottle of water whose top she removes to the young man, "Take these and drink this. You need the fluids, and these painkillers will help. Sadly, I don't really have much access to the really good stuff, but this ibuprofin is generally safe for anyone I've met so far"

Then she gestures broadly at herself, "And sadly, yes, all this blood did come from you." She then points at the IV she still has running into his arm, "...fortunately, I was able to replace it. Which is a good thing, because I think you might have been only a few minutes from circulatory system failure."

She stands up and stretches, her back cracking audibly as she gets up and after a moment recovering, checks the IV bag, "Yeah, we'll let this one finish and I think you should be good. Your color's much improved and I'm actually getting normal-ish blood pressure readings from you now."

She absently begins cleaning up after herself, "And furthermore, yes...I am one of 'this world's magical people'. Which heavily implies that you are NOT. Oddly enough, you are the SECOND offworlder to pass through this infirmary in the last few months."

She shakes her head, then smiles a bit, "A pleasure to meet you Chrono. I go by several titles, but officially I'm the Protector of the planet of Space-time, Sailor Pluto, guardian of Revolution."

She looks down at herself, "...normally, that's done with a little pose, but I find myself too exhausted right now to bother."

Chrono Harlaown has posed:
Chrono Harlaown gave her a small smile. "Thank you. Would you believe it's not the first time I've woken up in an infirmary, covered in... everything?" he asked. "Though, last time mo-- the captain was there and nearly put me back under."

He did cringe slightly when when he was sat up. But it did make it a LOT easier to talk, so that was appreciated. He took the pills and drank from it, giving a light grunt. While normally he would have been more cautious, all he did was a quick scan to ensure nothing was dangerous to his race. Nope. And he wasn't going to do a more thourough scan on the idea she might 'poison' him. If she wanted to do anything, she could have by now.

He glanced towards the IV. "Ah... I should be thankful, then, that our biologies are so compatible. Thank you again. My current access to medical care is... limited. As for my... well... I am certainly not from this world. Though... I don't suppose you could give me the name of this other offworlder? I am actually currently searching for members of the Arthra's crew. Likely amnesiac, confused, linker cores fully grown, yet distressingly empty?" he asked. "Speaking of... I don't suppose you would allow me to scan your linker core? You're actually the first alternative magical person I've met since my arrival, Miss... err... Pluto? And it might allow me to test a theory," he said. That was a lot there. And...

"... Wait. Are... you part of the TSAB? Or would that make you... a protector of the TSAB? Or would our jurisdictions clash? My apologies, I am still learning about how this world's magic works and... if you've dealt with another off worlder, I'm sure you can understand that this... everything here... is very, very strange. In every meaning of the world."

Internally, he... well... He would be screaming. Honest. Except he was *exhausted*. So at this point he was oddly zen about all of it. Weeeee. Almost dying when everything around you is BS. Fuuuuuun. "If... you'd like to go shower and take a quick nap, I assure you I do not intend to move for a while. If I even... could..."

Setsuna Meiou has posed:
The utterance of the syllable 'mo-' gets a slight arched eyebrow...but Pluto doesn't comment. There are precious few words that could have been the rest of what is cut off...but she'll let him pretend to keep his dignity.

She keeps cleaning up as she talks...she wants to make sure that the next time someone looks in here, they won't see all the mess she made taking care of Chrono, "Ah, that would be Countess Steiner. I believe she was at that little dustup where you almost got turned into half the young man you used to be."

At his next request, she turns and gives him a bit of a look, then shrugs, "By all means, scan away. I'm modestly curious what you'll find. To the best of what I can determine, your magic traditions and ours developed along VERY diferent lines."

She then shakes her head, "And I hate to let you down, but I am not a member of whatever TSAB is. As far as strange?"

She shrugs, "What you find strange might be rather normal for us."

She then sighs, "...and I'm afraid that as soon as I get this place cleaned up and you finish that bag of blood, we're going to have to move one more time. I doubt whatever paper thin cover identity you have will survive being found mostly sewn up in the infirmary of one of the country's most prestigious schools."

Chrono Harlaown has posed:
Chrono Harlaown nodded. "Ah. Right. The belkan. Yes. She's... she's going to punch me eventually. Not because I deserve it. But... belkan," he said. As if it explained everything. Which it did.

Her permission made him smile. He held up the strange card his device had taken, though didn't fully activate it. It glowed and washed a light over her and after a few moments he sighed. "Ah. Delightful. I had a feeling it would be this. I can officially say that I have no idea what your linker core is and it could, very well, be a lost logia. I can only hope that you are the right hands for it because at this point I think I would laugh at command if they told me to try and confiscate it." Seriously. He was not going to do anything to annoy one of the few allies he seemed to have.

"And... I'm beginning to see that. Your magic is, as far as I can tell, unlike anything else in either time OR space. The fact this is normal for you, as an outside viewer? Is incredibly horrific and I am equal parts terrified and impressed that you are all handling it so well." He... didn't look it, though. He had a hell of a poker face for one so young.

"As for moving... I... can't deny I dislike the idea, but I understand the need. I've been staying with a.... prior rescuer of me, at her family's restaurant. But, errr... I believe my new, current condition may draw more of their focus considering the last time they... errr... met me..." he mumbled, his cheeks burning.

"In fact... they.... are probably curious where I ran off to.... Oh... I am going to have so much explaining to do.... I hope I haven't made Terios-san's life even harder..." That did pose a problem. "I... I'll try and figure out something by the time you finish cleaning up. Worse comes to worse, I'm sure I can teleport to a... rooftop or something. TSAB training includes solo operatives field medicine. Once I've had time to rest and recover my mana, I might even be able to heal some of these to... less... gaping levels."

Setsuna Meiou has posed:
The tall senshi arches an eyebrow as Chrono describes the results of his scan, then snorts audibly, "Unless your society has proceeded to the point where they can casually move planets, I'd suggest they not bother trying, as I draw my powers from a planetary binding."

With that little bombshell dropped, she listens to Chrono's thoughts, taking note of the name Terios...well, that's another person identified.

Chrono's rambling about going off on his own, however, get the Senshi to stop, look at him, and give him a glare that only medical professionals really can...that one that says the person wanting to check themselves out on their own recognizance when they obviously shouldn't is being EXCEEDINGLY stupid.

Finally, she shakes her head, "Yeah, no. Get that thought out of that little head of yours, young man. I did not just spend the last two hours, forty-eight minutes and thirty seven seconds putting you back together for you to go off and undo all my hard work out of some idiotic notion of not 'wanting to be a bother' or 'not showing weakness'. I'll put you up in one of my spare rooms for tonight, at least...then we can call Miss Terios and see what arrangements can be made."

She frowns, "...actually, if you've been staying with her family, I suggest you send her a message to let her know you're okay and will get with her later."

Chrono Harlaown has posed:
Chrono Harlaown blinked a few times. Casually? No possib... okay. Fine. Whatever. WHATEVER! His eyes may have twitched a few times. Because he was getting way, way too used to just accepting 'impossible'. He wished he was old enough to drink.

He urked at that look, almost sitting up instinctively. "S-sorry, I won't," he said, his cheeks going red before she even said it. Oh, there it was. THAT made the poker face drop slightly.

"Yes ma'am," he mumbled once she finished. "I... should do that." Yet another reason that a part of him almost wished he had an intelligent device. Then again, if he'd had an intelligent device... that extra second of lag might have very well cost him his life.

A message would be sent soon. Hopefully, Rashmi would be calmed by it...

"Let me know when, err, you wish for us to go. I may need a little help walking," he admitted.

Then he jerked, his eyes going wide, then cringing. "She... knows. She's very happy to know I'm okay. Also. Ow. Civilians."

Setsuna Meiou has posed:
Pluto checks the bag one last time, then starts pulling that down. She pulls the iv needle out, applies a bandage, then says, "Oh, you won't be walking."

With that said, she scoops the tiny officer up, then calls out to the room at large, "Niti-chan, open windows. Timed order: In five minutes, disengage blackout mode and relock windows." A pleasant if synthetic voice responds 'Commmand Recognized'. It notably DOESN'T sound like the flat, toneless voice of a Device.

Orders given, Pluto slips out and, once she's shouldered the window closed behind her says to the agent, "Brace yourself as best you can. I'll do what I can to keep from jostling you around TOO much, but some is going to be inevitable."

She then sighs, "I REALLY hope you aren't prone to motion sickness..."

And with THAT ominous statement, she does a four-story standing leap to the nearest rooftop, from which she begins roof running, picking her path in such a manner as to minimize any jumps that might lead to a particularly rough shock upon landing.

Chrono Harlaown has posed:
Chrono Harlaown blinked a few times. "I won't be--" And then... then his cheeks went red. "I-I don't think that's necessary. I-I'm sure I could--" It was too late. Oh dear. One flaw of being tiny... well, okay, one of many flaws. The princess carry. His mother had done it. Hell, AMY had done it once. And frankly?

It was the thing he hated most.

He kept his eyes averted, tried to keep his mind steel and not focus at all on the pretty girl princess carrying him. Tried to hld onto some shred of dignity he could feel vanishing. At least his mother would *never, ever know*. As he would *never* hear the end of it. He made occasional sounds, soft squeaks, little squirms as they went.

But frankly, his distress was more ummmm... embarrassment. Oh, yes, he definitely *hurt*. And some of the landings he wished were *softer*. And not leaps at all.

But compared to that? The embarrassment of being princess carried by some tall super soldier? Yeah. That... that was really the thing that was utterly shattering his 'calm soldier' mask. By the time they'd arrived? His face was a solid red, he was looking at anywhere *but* her and he was so embarrassed he would have been entirely okay if she just dropped him in the bay so long as it meant he didn't have to ever meet her gaze again.

Setsuna Meiou has posed:
The travel ends up in a part of town that even someone from offworld can probably figure is high on the 'upscale' side...and the house that Pluto carries Chrono into is probably properly called a 'mansion'. She carries him upstairs to one of the rooms in the back corner, then settles him on a very large, very comfortable bed.

Any reactions from the young man are not OBVIOUSLY noted...but, well, Pluto notes them anyway.

She's just polite enough (for now!) to pretend she didn't.

Once she's sure he's settled, she turns to the younger agent and says, "Alright then, Agent Harlaown. A couple of things for your fund of knowledge."

She raises her index finger, "...for one, the mild stimulant I gave you should probably be wearing off any time now. At a guess, I imagine you'll probably be out for at LEAST the next ten to twelve hours."

A second finger is raised, "Washroom facilities are in that room over there, feel free to use them."

A third finger is raised, "Please don't go wandering about. I have two housemates and either or both of them is liable to find you utterly adorable and both are quite likely to tease you far more than someone in your health should be teased."

Finger number four, "I'm going to detransform in a few minutes, and once I do, I suspect I'll have maybe ten or fifteen minutes before I'm laid out about as long as you'll be...when I get up, I'll come collect you and we'll get with your hosts."

A thumb, "...and finally, my civilian name is Setsuna Meiou, though most of the people you know probably know me as Nurse Meiou. I ask that for the moment you keep my identity a secret...but in return, I'll get some contacts to forge you some identity papers that will pass a proper muster."

She pauses, "Any further questions?"

Chrono Harlaown has posed:
Chrono Harlaown has slightly less blood in his face right now than had been spilled all over the nice, pretty nurse earlier. And... wow. Uhhhhh. So she was really cute. Rich. Strong. Pretty. And uhhhh... Yeah. He could... just... go ahead and die now? That'd be great?

His mind was very strong when it came to things like... pain. Soldiering things. Life and death fighting. Monsters. That he handled juuuust fine.

But this? His mind was NOT ready for this. When he was laid in bed, the primary thought in his mind was 'Oh thank heavens now I can die of embarrassment in peace.'

"Yes ma'am..." he mumbled sheepishly when she started giving him information. Right. He even started saving notes to his device. Passing out for sleep. That. That sounded good. Washroom, yes. He'd likely need that.

The third comment made him give a low whimper and more red (somehow) flood his cheeks. His hand moving over his face. "Oh god, not the Liese twins again..." he muttered. Oh, there was a... thing. Fortunately, they wouldn't be THAT terrible. But it would still likely be about as hellish in his mind.

He made a record of her name, at least. "Of... of course, Nurse Meiou," he said softly. "Err... could you... ummmm..." He was managing to look everywhere in the room BUT at her. "When... errrr... we meet with Terios-san... could... you, errr... not mention... the uhhh... state... method of transport...?" he said. A simple, small request. Judging by how sheepish he was, it was important to him. The first time since waking up he'd actually behaved like the child he looked like, as opposed to the soldier he was. "And... if you'll be helping me get some identity information sorted, I should inform you so there's no, err, confusion later. I'm, ummm... fourteen. By this planets calender," he said softly.

Setsuna Meiou has posed:
Sailor Pluto arches an eyebrow at Chrono, then just gives him a soft smile. Before she can say much else, however, she brefily is obscured in a flare of the impression of ribbons and, as one wag once put it, 'cosmic nonsense'. Once it has passed, Nurse Meiou stands there in Pluto's place, wearing primarily a labcoat. You can see the slight sag as fatigue begins to settle on her, "I'll keep your secret, Chrono. Miss Terios shall hear nothing from me in regards to how you were transported."

She then smiles a soft little smile, "...and it's okay...you're probably talking to the person on this planet who can MOST understand being older than you appear."

Then she leans over, tucks the young man in...and finally, in a fit of mischief, gives him a kiss on the top of his head before turning to walk out, "See you in a few hours."

Chrono Harlaown has posed:
Chrono Harlaown understood that fatigue at least, he'd done the same very recently. His eyes narrowed slightly when she mentioend being 'older than she appeared'. Yeah. So his scan made no sense and now he was suspecting even less it was.... a malfunction. Something was certainly weird about this girl. But at least she was nice. And nobody would ever know. While he might have objected a bit to being tucked in, it wasn't so--

GRGGGGLSQUEAK! And he actually squeaked, his eyes going wide and actually hid a lil more under the covers. Oh. She was EVIL!
