Synopsis: Ami Mizuno gives Naru Osaka a relatively clean bill of health after the events of her kidnapping.
Cast of Characters: Naru Osaka, Ami Mizuno

Naru Osaka has posed:
It's been not even a week since Naru got home after.. her adventure.

An adventure that involved a whole lot of 'Naru is infused with dark energy, and goes all creepy supervillain.' by the end of it. Which is probably not the healthiest thing in the world.

It seemed a sensible thing to have Sailor Mercury come and give Naru a once over in a more in depth sense than the cursory sniff test.

Naru hasn't /felt/ especially fragile, or evil over the last week, but does one ever really think of themselves as the bad guy in the story?

Only Naru is home at the moment, Usagi and Luna off doing other things, but Naru has homework enough still to be settled at her desk with books and a coffee.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami Mizuno was done studying for the day and was considering even more studying- because when you relax with studying... you study after you study, you see. When she got a series of text.

<PHONE> A text from Usagi Tsukino: Ami-chan can you check out Naru-chan? Like with the Mercury computer?
<PHONE> A text from Usagi Tsukino: She seems okay, but like,,, Sunbreaker is crazy!
<PHONE> A text from Usagi Tsukino: Who knows what she did? I'd feel better if you could help out?
<PHONE> You text Usagi Tsukino: Of course Usa-chan. I'm done studying for the day. So I'll head over now.

So thusly. Ami gathers her things, and walks on over to Usagi and Naru's room, a backpack slung over her shoulder as she knocked on the door. Knock. Knock. Knock. When answered. She gives a short, greeting bow- as is polite and customary. "Naru-san!" she says. "Usa-chan isn't here? Oh. That's okay. Mind if I come in. I'm actually here because Usa-chan wanted me to check up on you after...."

"Some things, that happened this last week." she said, in that cryptic 'know what I mean?' manner of speech. "Just to make sure you're okay." she added a polite, small smile to the end of this. "I'm sure we can speak more easily when we're not in the hallway."

Naru Osaka has posed:
The knock at the door is incentive enough for Naru to abandon her books and go to retrieve Ami from the hallway. "C'mon in!"

There's no hesitation, no pause on that notion, just a welcome into the room.

It is clear whose stuff is whose when one gets inside the dorm room. There's one desk with neat tidy piles of books and one desk of papers and chaos. One bookshelf with neat baskets, labelled even and one.. well that isn't.

"Can I get you a drink or anything? The kettle just boiled, so there could be tea, and we've got juice and stuff as well." Naru offers politely, shutting the door behind Ami.

"I'm feeling better than I expect to be, actually." Naru comments once it's just the two of them and not in the hallway. She quirks her head at Ami. "How much do you know?"

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami Mizuno smiles. "Some tea would be lovely. A little honey...?" she asks.

Still. she listens with polite nod as she mpmm. "It's good you're feeling better. But. Well." she says. "I know a lot. Actually." a matter of fact, true in many ways. But in this particular case. "I know a person named Sunbreaker did something terrible to you, on a magical level, made you evil for a bit and Sailor Moon.... Usa-chan." she notions, proving she can connect the dots here. "-and friends-" she adds. "Had to save you." she says as she places her backpack down on the ground and removes her transformation pen from her it.

"Uhm. Sorry this may. Be weird." she says, a little shly, as she raises the pen and calls out. "Mercury Power, Make Up!". A transformation happening before Naru's eyes. If she's watching and not making tea, that is, as she becomes Sailor Mercury.

"I'm going to do some more detailed scans of you. If that's alright?" she asks.

Naru Osaka has posed:
"On a theoretical level it was /fascinating/." Naru has to admit, even as she's moving to put the kettle back on and get out a cup and some tea and the honey. "Not exactly awesome in the whole 'trying to kill my friends' side of it all."

Naru leans against the table that holds their mini 'kitchen', aka a kettle and a few mugs and not much else as she chats with Ami. There's a half laugh at the mention of 'this might be weird'. "Transformations of friends isn't even in my top twenty of weird this week. A week ago, I was literally talking to the dark energy snake familiar of a lizard person, because it was there and that was starting to seem pretty reasonable."

Naru's expression brightens as Ami becomes Sailor Mercury. "Oh! So YOU'RE Mercury! Luna's been telling me about your computer. Lovely to meet this side of you." There's a flicker of a smile. "Only if you share your results."

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Sailor Mercury nodded as she moved her hands to her face and summoned the Mercury Visor, spreading it out from the center across her face as she then went ahead and pulled out the Mercury Computer from... somewhere behind herself. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to think about magic summoning of things too hard.

"I am. Just. Let's keep that between us and Usa-chan for now." she says with a small smile.

She then walks over to Naru and presses a few buttons, and she looks at Naru, through the visor, as the computer and visor, do their thing, scanning Naru, who doesn't need to be sitting any particular way. She's fine as she stands right now.

"Of course." she says. "As long as you're willing to accept the results." she says. She looks down to the computer's screen every so often, between the screen, up to Naru. Back and forth, while the scan goes on.

Naru Osaka has posed:
"I don't out people's identities for them. That's their secret to keep or share, as they might wish." Naru comments quietly. She might be (mostly) mundane, but she is by no means ignorant.

"Why would I not accept the results?" Naru asks curiously. "They aren't a value judgement, nor anything more than an information point. Either I still have dark energy, or some other oddity, or I don't. I'm also.. not the most typical of mundanes, so I'm curious that way too. Alright if I move?" Naru asks politely, although it seems likely that it's fine.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Sailor Mercury continues her scan and nods. "You can move around, Naru-san." she says as she says. "Good. I'm glad." she says as she nods. "You're right. Most normal people don't remember these things." she says. "But you do." she says. "So that makes you atypical."

She lets the scan run. Looking back down at her screen. Up to Naru and back. When Naru moves, she merely follows along, everything is portable, the computer fits in her palm, after all.

Her scan is still going as she reads one of the few results coming through. She furrows her brow a bit, but waits for the rest to come along before she announces anything.

"Still scanning." she adds.

Naru Osaka has posed:
"I've spent a lot of time explaining to people that the notion of trying to 'keep me from being involved' was rather moot. I was clearly already involved by the fact that we were having the conversation." Naru points out as she prepares the cup for the tea, dolloping a bit of honey in.

"I have.. had.. my own communicator." Naru points out as the kettle clicks itself off and she pours hot water into the tea cup.The fragrant steam of green tea with a bit of sweet from the honey immediately fills the air.

Naru turns again, to offer it to Ami, and then to move over and offer to put it on Usagi's desk for her. Her hands are full of computer after all.

"Hematite was going to go see what survived the destruction, but I don't think he'd know to spot the bracelet. Or if Sunbreaker was even keeping it in the cabin at all."

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Sailor Mercury can smell the honey'ed tea. She wants it, but she has to do this first as she listens. She says nothing about Hematite's involvement, if she has an opinion on it one way or another she isn't sharing it right now. She merely 'hrms' as her computer screen and finally draws her hands up to the visor, and sort of 'shrinks it' to the middle of her face, so it's gone, putting her computer down and says.

"Well Naru-san. You have a little lingering dark energy. Not a lot. But just a little." she says, making a little 'smoosh' motion with her finger.

"I'm not worried about it, it'll probably dissipate by itself. If you're worried about it, I mean. You can always be smacked with more purification magic." she says, with a slightly sideways small smile.

"Other than that. You seem perfectly fine." she says. "You're not in danger of turning inside out or into a goat, or anything."

Naru Osaka has posed:
"That's not all /that/ surprising." Naru comments as she ventures over to collect up her own coffee. "And I'm personally going to hope for the disipate on its own option, bcause purification magic hurts like stupid."

It probably does not when you are not evil, but Naru's never tried it that way.

"I'm not super worried about it." Naru has to agree with Mercury's assessment. "It'll settle on its own, I'm sure. Although if I start randomly proving my own dramatic wind, then it probably didn't." Naru laughs softly. "I mean, turning into a goat could be pretty cool. Not forever, that would suck, but just for a little while? Run around bouncing! And head butting things!"

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Sailor Mercury, done with her work, puts her computer away, by placing it behind her. Where does it go? How does it go? No one will know. All that you know is that it's gone now and she then raises her hand and untransforms, becoming Ami Mizuno again.

She settles and finally picks up her tea, and it's had just enough time to cool down to that perfect temperature where you don't need to worry about it being too hot. She sips it and closes her eyes. Lovely, she thinks. "Thank you for the tea, Naru-san." she says.

"I can think of a few good reasons to not be a goat. But. Listing them off would just spoil your fun. Maybe it'd be fun to be one, just for a little while, yes." she says.

"So do you want to tell Usa-chan your status or should I?" she asks curiously. "I can do that now if you want." she says.

Naru Osaka has posed:
"Do you just think it to change back?" Naru asks, curiosity winning over politeness. At least for the moment. "Becoming Mercury is one thing, but I've remembered to ask Usagi about the changing back."

Naru smiles a little. "You're very welcome for the tea, and thank you for confirming that I'm alright." She laughs warmly. "I'm sure being a goat would get old very quickly, but its a delightfully silly notion, at least briefly."

Naru gestures vaguely. "If you want to tell her right now, you can. I was just going to let her know when she got home."

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami Mizuno lifts her phone and texts Usagi.

<PHONE> You text Usagi Tsukino: Naru-san is fine. She has a little bit of a residual dark energy trace. But it's nothing to worry about. It should dissipate on it's own, Usa-chan.
<PHONE> A text from Usagi Tsukino: oh that's so good, thank you ami-chan!!!!
<PHONE> You text Usagi Tsukino: You're welcome, Usa-chan! I'm having tea with her now.

She then places her phone face down on the table as that's polite when you're talking to someone while waiting on a reply. "Good. No goats about it then." she says as she sips her honey'ed tea. She then thinks about that question.

"I raise my hand. And I think. I'm not sure if the hand raise is needed. But you hold the transformation pen up over your head when you transform, right?" she says.

Naru Osaka has posed:
Generally it's Naru who quick to the texting, not this time! Instead she drinks from her coffee as Ami contacts Usagi.

"Right, to get into Mercury, there's a whole /thing/." Naru nods in agreement. "But getting back to Ami always seems a lot less dramatic." Naru considers. "I don't do that part, so I've been curious." She doens't do any of the parts, but we'll just leave that aside for now.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami Mizuno says. "It's easier to take off a shirt than put it on sometimes." she adds. "In this case. The energy goes away easier than it takes to summon it up. I think. To be honest. That's just my hypothesis." she says as she finishes her tea.

"Naru-san. I should be going." she says. "I have more studying to do to be ready for this year. I was taking a break, when Usa-chan asked me to come check things out." she says.

"I'm pleased you're alright." she says as she places her empty cup into the sink carefully. "I'll no doubt visit again soon!" she says.

"Is there anything else?" she asks, curiously. "Before I leave?"

Naru Osaka has posed:
"Thank you so much for coming." Naru smiles warmly. "I appreciate it, as well as Usagi."

Naru gestures to her own desk. "I'm almost caught upon homework, but I've a little more to finish tonight before I'm done."

"I'll see you in class, at the very least!" Naru smiles. "And I have faith that we'll visit again soon. I'm good. Thank you again."

Because what both of them clearly need to do is /more/ homework.
