Synopsis: Adora and Usagi bond during a shopping trip for the Masquerade Ball. Is there anything better than clothes to bring two young warriors together?
Cast of Characters: Adora Rainbowfist, Usagi Tsukino
Tinyplot: Masquerade of Princess Dia

Adora Rainbowfist has posed:
Sometime during the sleepover, Adora had nervously brought up the fact that she had nothing to wear for the Ball. Whether Usagi offered to help, or Adora asked, here we are!

Meeting up at the gate to the school after classes, Adora was in her civvies. It immediatly made her standard wear pretty obvio9us. A pair of battered jeans with holes in the knees were worn with Doc Martins with yellow laces. A red and black flannel was tossed on over a San Diego Padre's t-shirt. Her blonde hair was pulled back into a ponytail with a little poof in the front, kind of like a baby pompadour. The conversation on the way to the store had been light enough for most of it, until Adora finally brought up something that had been worrying her.

"So, I was excited for this cause I originally overheard about it and thought it was some school thing. But THEN I found out it was for some visiting Princess or something, and now I dunno if I should go. Other kids are staffing or invited or...just kinda jumping the gate, I guess. Not sure what I should do...""

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"If you want to go, you should go," Usagi says, because to her it really is that simple. Sure, there will be some sneaking in involved, because it's an expensive, fancy event that she's started to do a little research on, but they're magic teenagers. She's pretty sure Adora is an alien. Why not sneak into a fancy party?

"The biggest thing isn't whether you're allowed to go, it's what you're going to wear, and that's what we're here to figure out! Well, not here at school, but here on our way to shopping. Do you like dresses more or suits, or skirts, or combos?"

Usagi had been more than willing to give Adora some help with a shopping trip - she could put off her homework and say she was doing it to benefit someone else! Who wouldn't love that? "There's this store, Fairy Drop Fashion, that I've checked out a few times - it's a little pricy sometimes, but I think it will have the perfect stuff to wear to a fancy party."

Adora Rainbowfist has posed:
She laughs and covers her mouth to hide her grin. Okay, she likes Usagi already. She clears her throat, then, and glances down at herself.

"Well, clothing was...a lot different back home. I'm still figuring out my style, I guess. But I've never really felt comfortable in a dress. Still...my girlfriend who...SHOULD be going is probably gonna wear a suit or something like that. She wore this amazing red tux to the Princess Prom. It had these fingerless gloves and an undone tie. It was..." Her cheeks flush and she waves it off a bit.

"It was the first fancy thing I'd ever been to. Do I wanna -match- that or compliment it? I don't know if she'll wear THAT but she is definatly a suit girl."

She nods at the mention of the store and chews her lip a bit. "The school's helped me a little bit with some funds to settle in. I've saved a bit so...I can probably cover whatever. But it might leave me broke awhile. Worth it."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"Hmm, hmmm, hmmmmmm, still figuring out your style and wanting to match with someone you're not sure about... that could be difficult! But I'm not giving up in the face of this challenge, nope! We've just got to make sure you wear something you're comfortable in; that's the most improtant thing. If dresses aren't what you're into, no dresses!"

She emphasizes this by making an X with her arms and slashing out, no dresses!

"The outfit she picked sounds cool... but there's no reason you couldn't both wear a suit. And if you know the colors she usually likes, you could complement those, instead of dress to suit!"

She is practically bouncing in delight, and grabs Adora's wrist casually, pulling her along - there's a bus stop nearby, and they should probably catch it. "We're going to take the bus, since that's the easiest way to get there, and we can look at pictures on my phone to see what you like. Fairy Drop does custom stuff, but that's more expensive - I think our best bet is to find something pre-made, and see about getting it tailored."

Because Adora is Pretty Tall for a Japanese girl!

Adora Rainbowfist has posed:
"Her tux was red and black and that's kind of her whole...vibe, I guess. She's pretty intense."

She has a limp to her movements, still, due to the wound Usagi saw the night before. The claw marks. She yeeps as her wrist is grabbed, but lets herself be dragged along with a smile. She reminds her of Glimmer, and that makes her happy. She feels like home in a weird way.

She nods at the mention of the bus. "Sure. I take it or the train to Shinjuku a lot. The Equestrian Club I started uses the park there for our riding."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"Red and black, huh? Like Shadow the Hedgehog!" Very cool. Very edgy and dark. That's a little intense for Usagi, who doesn't mind red or black with other colors, but not together - though. Well. That masked boy who saved her had been wearing red and black quite nicely... "Or Tuxedo Mask. A good combination..."

She throws Adora an apologetic glance upon hearing the eep, but she also doesn't stop dragging her, so what is the truth, huh???

"So, you said her name is Catra, right? Catra Applesauce Meowmeow? Is she really into cats? Or, wait, you said you named each other, right? Does that mena you're really into cats?"

Equestrian club, girlfriend who really likes cats... Cute!

"I've heard of the Equestrian Club! Are you going to have a display at the Culture Festival?"

Adora Rainbowfist has posed:
"Well, uh. It's complicated. How...um. How in the Know are you about the Special Clubs at the school?," she asks. She has no idea how to ask Usagi if she knows about magical stuff, and she is so, so terrible at being subtle. "But yeah, that's her name."

She climbs onto the bus with Usagi and the two manage to find a seat, parking themselves near the back. "I'd love to have a thing at the Festival, but my injuries don't really help with horseriding. Same with my Boxing Club I started. So I'm working with the Cooking Club on food to sell for it! I didn't know anything about cooking back on Eth-...back in Bavaria, but I really like it. It's fun to make stuff for once."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"Enough to know you're definitely an alien and not from Bavaria," Usagi says with a little shrug and a quiet voice, "I mean, I'm pretty sure. I'm not great at geography, but I'm pretty positive on that one."

Is Bavaria even a real country? It could be as made up as the Princess of Europe probably is.

"I'm not going to tell anyone except Naru-chan and maybe Wako-chan, though. They know about stuff too."

She isn't super eager to give away her secret identity! Not in the open.

"If you come to self defense class, stay after for Fite Club. You'll definitely get to know then."

Hints are fine, though, clearly. She quiets down as they climb into the bus and find their seats, and then turns promptly to Adora as soon as they're seated. "Aw, are you not going to be healed up in time for the festival?" Tragic! And surprising - Usagi tended to heal up pretty quick; even after Sunbreaker burned her, it was only a week before the worst of it was gone. Truly, the most lasting damage has been the six inches of hair she'd had to lose.

"But the cooking club is a great idea! I love food, but I'm not super great at cooking... everything is either tasty but ugly or nice looking but gross, and I dunno what I get wrong. I'm not in any clubs, but my class is doing a Test of Courage thing... unfortunately."

Adora Rainbowfist has posed:
"Yeeeeah. The Headmaster came up with the whole Bavaria thing. I -am- an alien, technically. A Princess from this world Eternia, and then the chosen champion of this world called Etheria. My girl is from there, too. And she's a literal catgirl. Fur, claws, tail. All of it."

She rubs her face and lounges back in her chair a bit. "I only heal fast in my other form, She-Ra, the Princess of Power. But I don't stay in it to just hang out if I can help it. Kinda hard to blend in when you're 8' tall, you know? So yeah, I heal like a normal person. That's why I have all the scars and stuff."

She looks over at the other blonde and smiles softly. "I am in a lot of Clubs. Keeps me busy, which is good. I don't like being alone or having too much time to think. Too depressing with everything going on with me and stuff."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"You're dating-" Usagi's voice raises in surprise, and then she slaps a hand over her mouth, waving apologetically at everyone who looked around to stare, before leaning in and hissing, "You're dating that nekomimi?! Oh my god, she tried to rob me once!"

It was a while back. It wasn't the most pleasant experience, but honestly, not the worst either. "Are you an animal person too? Wait, is that rude to ask?"

It's just! Catra hadn't looked like an animal person until all of a sudden she was, so... And her name is CATRA?

"You should try going on a patrol sometime! Normal people like... they don't really remember what they see? Not most of them, anyway. So maybe you couldn't be - eight feet tall? Seriously? Really, really eight feet tall?" She needs a few moments to think about that. A few very teenage bisexual moments to think about that. "Wow... you'd be almost twice my height..."

Okay girl, shake it off! A deep breath, steadying, and then she says - "Adora-chan, that's not the saddest thing I've ever heard, but it is really sad. Not that you're in clubs, but - you must... really miss your home, huh?"

Adora Rainbowfist has posed:
She winces a bit and nods. "Sounds like her. And it's complicated. So, back home...we grew up in this super violent, evil military regime that was trying to take over the world and kill all magic. It's all we knew. All we had was eachother. At five I found her abandoned in a box, and convinced my keeper to take her in, too. We were inseperable for years. She even slept in my bed every single night." She adjusts her ponytail a bit.

"Then I found the Sword and discovered we'd been lied to all of our lives. I abandoned the Horde to join the Princess Rebellion, and I -begged- her to come with me. But she refused. She felt abandoned and like I'd turned my back on everything we knew. Fast-forward through years of war, with her rising in the ranks and constantly just...turning all that inner-hate outward. Finally, in the end, she left the monsters and joined the Rebellion, and was really, really doing better. She saved my life in the end and confessed her love for me, and I told her I loved her, too. We won the day and ended up -together-. A few weeks after just...being SO happy...and I ended up here when one of Prime's surviving cronies detonated an experimental weapon."

She shifts in her seat. "So, I was here, living in an abandoned gym, when the Headmaster took me in. Then, I ran into Catra at this abandoned amusement park. The thing is, THIS Catra came from EARLIER, when she was her most broken and desperate and sad. So I'm helping her find herself all over again, but she's knee-deep in Obsidian, who are totally taking advantage of her low self-esteem. She's coming around, though. She already fed us the information we needed to hurt Obsidian and she's helped me save a few lives Obsidian was trying to take. It's only a matter of time..."

"Sorry, that's a lot, I know. And no, I'm just a girl. Etheria had races of beastfolk. She's one of those.

She grins softly, then, and nods. "Mmmhm. Eight feet tall and...here..." She fishes out her phone and flicks through the ophotos, before handing it over. On it is a full She-Ra selfie in the bathroom mirror, sword over her shoulder and flexing a bicep. "That's me. The OTHER me, I mean. Hard to hide that, don't you think?"

"I miss Etheria. I miss having won. I miss Catra being...the Catra that kissed me."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Usagi's eyes widen, and keep on widening as Adora shares her story, and it really does feel like a story - an epic adventure or something, with wars and children raised in armies and princess rebellions and starcrossed romances and -

"It sounds like you've been through a lot," is what she manages to say, at the end, and pats Adora's hand. "And for a long time! I mean, I've only been like, in the know for a few months... and you've been living with this your whole life, and now you're living with all the weird in this world too? That's rough!" It is a lot. It's hard to imagine it all and really process it. But... it's Adora's life, right? She just had to hear about it. "Beastfolks... we call that being a kemonomimi, here. They're not like, real though."

Pause.

"M,maybe they're real?" Can she ever truly say anything isn't real, now?! A picture is offered, breaking up the moment, and Usagi gasps. "Oh my god. You're so - you have so many - are those real muscles?"

She can't cope with this. She stares at the picture and Adora and the picture and Adora and - "You would be the worlds best model. Just. Ever! You'd make billions and zillions on Youtube."

She can see it...

"...I hope you'll be able to find a way home. A way back to your Catra. But, this one isn't too bad, I think. She's kind of a jerk, and she definitely tried to rob me, but, she mostly seemed kinda lonely?"

Adora Rainbowfist has posed:
Mmmhm. And I turned a space station into a giant tree and re-terraformed Etheria after Prime...the galactic conqueror...turned it into a wasteland," she adds softly. "But I'm not -as- strong here, I've noticed. Still crazy powerful as She-Ra, but...I dunno. I guess I haven't tried cutting a star cruiser in half since I got here." She truies to laugh about it, but clears her throat.

"Oh! Well, that's cool! Mabye you can show me how to youtube sometime? I'm still learning my phone, but I could totally share, like...work outs and combat techniques for folks?" She lurches when the bus does, and her eyes widen as she catches herself on the seat in front of her.

"She's...worse then that. She gave me all my scars over time. Well, not all of them, but most of them. But I've hurt her, too, and I hate doing it every time. She tried destroying the world back on Etheria because she felt she had nothing left and was...just so lost. But I can feel and see her starting to turn around here, just like she eventually did back home. Just baby steps."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Terraformed the planet?! Hewwo?! Usagi is looking at Adora like - hello?! Power?! "You must have been the final boss... or maybe the final level of the hero."

What else can she say? She tries to imagine having all that power, and then losing it, and winces a little, choosing distraction instead. "I could definitely show you how to use Youtube! It's essential entertainment these days, and if you want to show people how to fight, then the self-defense class is a good place to start! Inai-sensei is in charge, but she's always up to letting people show off tricks... especially in the after class section."

Get to Fite Club Adora, do it, do it!

And Usagi winces. Because - "That's... that's pretty bad... but if you're confident in her ability to change, you've just got to keep pushing, right?"

Adora Rainbowfist has posed:
"It took me a few years to get to that point. Honestly, my Sword was destroyed and I wasd dieing. Catra confessed her love and kissed me and...as stupid as it sounds, it ignited the actual power in me. Everywhere I stepped flowers bloomed, grass grew, magic returned. Prime'd stolen all the magic, like he did on other worlds before, you see..."

"Oh, for sure. I'm meeting with Mio-san every week to teach her, and we were talking about joining the actual group," she explains. The girl nods confidently, then. "I've seen her at her worse. And I've seen her change before. I -know- it's possible."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"Years?!" Usagi's eyes bulge out a little, shocked at the thought - it's only been a few months for her, after all. "Years... well, you guys should definitely come to the group then! If you've got years of experience..."

As the two girls talk, the bus gradually slows, settling into place at their destination. A chiiiiime rings out, and Usagi perks up. "Oh! That's our stop! Come on, let's hurry and get off - we've got an outfit to buy~"

Adora Rainbowfist has posed:
"I was an infant when the Horde took me in and started raising me to be a soldier. And...about thirteen when they promoted me to Force Captain. Fifteen when it all ended. Weirdly? Catra should be younger then me because of her being from earlier in our world, but we're still the same age. Magic is..." Shr shrugs helplessly. "...Magic."

She beams at the mention of buying an outfit, and she climbs up to follow her off. "So, I 've been thinking about the outfit! How about...um. Something white? Mabye with red?"

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"Magic is magic," Usagi nods sagely, because - well. Yeah. What else can you say? She doesn't half of what magic does - Naru's been working on a theory, but it's kind of over Usagi's head; she just accepts magic will do what magic will do.

"White sounds good to me," she calls back to Adora as they exit the bus. The shop is just up the street, so she starts leading the way. "Do you think you want mostly white with some red, or half and half? It'll also look really nice if Catra does wear black and red, you'll be like, thematically tied!"

Adora Rainbowfist has posed:
"Yeah!," she replies with a smile. She moves a little slower due to her stitches, but she still is quite capable. "Um, I'm not sure? Let's see what they have, I guess." She reaches back to make sure her ponytail is good to go.

"So...you know about magic and stuff. What's your story?," she finally asks. "I've been blabbing about -me- this entire time, but I know nothing about you other then that you're insanely nice, good at hosting parties, and cute. So fill me in, friendo."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"Let's see what they have! And if we don't like anything here, we can always hit the mall, but I'm pretty sure Fairy Drop will have something for you!" She is very sure, anyway. It's a very fashionable store, with plenty of variety - if they couldn't provide a good outfit, who could?

her steps falter a little, when Adora asks about her, and she considers - "I'm... I only got into all this stuff a few months ago. Like a month before summer break. It's kind of scary, but I'm pretty strong, with my magic and stuff, so I'm trying to do what I can - I wish the world was like, not in so much danger though? I'm, ah, part of a team of people with similar powers, but we're still getting used to each other."

Adora Rainbowfist has posed:
"Okay! I mean, we have time!"

She smiles at the mention of a team. "I miss that. A team. Back home I had the Princess Rebellion. I miss the other Princesses, and their powers would be SO helpful here. Glimmer, Mermista, Frosta, Perfuma, Netossa, Entrapta...heck, even the non-powered folk I miss like hell. Bow, Seahawk and stuff." Those names seem so, so normal to her. She pauses outside the store, staring up at the sign before she opens the door, holding it for Usagi.

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"Exactly! We've got plenty of time to find you the perfect outfit."

The rush of names Adora shares are as strange to Usagi as her own must be to Adora - after all, if that's what she's used to... but still. Netossa? Spinnerella? Entrapta? Definitely strange!

"... it does mean something. It's always nice to hear you're doing things right, you know?" Even if Adora hasn't seen her fight, and doesn't know about - things. Usagi isn't going to go spilling that she too is dating someone on the wrong side; it would be cruel, after keeping it from her friends for so long - but well... she gets it. A little.

"Oh! Thanks," she smiles as the door is held open, and sweeps inside.

"Welcome to Fairy Drop Fashion! Are you here for something custom, or would you like to see our available designs?" The shop attendant is a cheerful looking young woman, dressed in a sleek uniform with a fashionable print, worthy of the boutique.

"We're going to check what you have for now - my friend is looking for an outfit for a ball!"

"Well, in that case, you'll want to check in the back - that's where we keep our formal attire."

Adora Rainbowfist has posed:
She steps in after the other girl and glances about, taking the place in with wide eyes. "Whoa. Okay." She looks over at the attendant, then, and offers an awkward grin. "Hiiiii. Soooo, yeah. I'm going to a ball this weekend and I want an outfit. Not a dress. White and red, we're thinking? I need a mask, too, but I dunno if you do that stuff here..."

She nods and begins to lead the way to the back. "People need encouragement," she replies. "We all do. It can really make the difference, y'know?" She shrugs and glances around as they reach the back.

"Hooooo boy. Okay, here we go."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"Masks, we won't be able to help you with, but we should have plenty of suits and formal pieces you can look at," the shop attendant says, and then hesitates. "You're rather tall, so don't be afraid to take a look at the men's section for pants? Just in case we don't have anything long enough pre-made..."

She's very apologetic.

Usagi follows Adora to the back of the store, looking around at all the formal attire - there are dresses on racks and being modeled by mannequins, and just as many suits, and skirts, and tuxedos, and - "Oh they have a lot more pre-made clothing than I thought... look at all this stuff!"

She's smiling a little, pleased both by the conversation and the options. "You're doing good too, you know? It's really ahrd to keep faith in someone, but you're doing it."

Adora Rainbowfist has posed:
She blushes softly at the compliment and glances over. "She was there for me when we were growing up," she says. Anyone looking in on their childhood might say the opposite, or that they were more there for eachother, but still. "So I'm gonna be there for her. Back then, during the War? I...gave up on her for awhile. It only made things worse. I came around, though, thankfully. I'm not gonna make that mistake again. No matter how hard she bites me."

She brushes her fingers over the various options, considering them. "Okay. Now is when you come in," she says with a nervous laugh.

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
BITES? Usagi is not asking. She is curious - very curious - but she is NOT asking - "Did she ever actually bite you?" - Apparently she is asking.

And, with an array of outfits before them... "Okay, so, first! Let's ignore all the dresses, because you don't want any. That gets rid of... maybe two thirds of all these outfits? Now, let's look for the things that are mostly white... do you think you want a white top, or a white coat, or white pants? Or a combo?"

Adora Rainbowfist has posed:
Her response is a deeper blush. It's probably answer enough, honestly.

"Uh. Um. White coat and pants? Mabye...mabye a red shirt? Will that look terrible?" She chews her lip a bit and absently rubs at her shoulder, perhaps in memory of one of those bites or just in nervous energy. "Hey, do you think I could get them to add, like...gold accent? There's this language back home that only I can read. Looks like constellations to most folks. How would that look on it? nah...that's dumb..."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Usagi flushes red too, eyes widening and grin widening even more. She'd tease Adora, but they're not that close yet.

"A white coat and pants would look good! Very striking, I think? Because it's bold and confident, sure you're not going to stain anything... and the red will be a really nice pop! And gold goes nicely with red and white," says the magical girl with a costume that features white with red and gold jewelry.

"Constellation marks... that would be really unique! Do you know what you'd want it to say? I mean, if it's a message only you can read, it could say anything you wanted."

Adora Rainbowfist has posed:
Oh, yay! Cool. That sounds great. So...white coat and pants, red shirt." She begins looking through the racks as they keep talking. She finds a red shirt easily enough, and folds it over her arm. It's silky and has the faintest shimmer to it.

"So, are you seeing anyone? or into anyone?," she asks curiously.

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"I have a boyfriend! His name is Darien, grade 10, and he's wonderful." Her whole face lights up at the thought of him, a smile spreading across her face. "We've been dating for a little while, and I really like him. He's super smart, and he helps me with my homework, and he's very handsome -"

The prettiest boy in school, honestly! "Oh, that shirt is good! I like the shimmer...w hat do you think about this white coat?"

Adora Rainbowfist has posed:
She grins at Usagi's reaction to talking about her boyfriend. "I never had any interest in boys. He sounds great, though! I'm super happy for you!" She leans in to give Usagi a side-hug if she allows it. She doesn't have the spacial issues most locals have, and seems to have no issue touching or holding someone. She doesn't even seem to think for a second it might be weird.

She lights up at the coat, and she takes it off the rack. She turns it this way and that and then tries it on. It is tight around her strong shoulders, and she peels it back off. "I can have them tailor it a bit, I bet!"

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
She does allow it! The sidehug is quickly returned, her smile sweet. If only Minako and Rei-chan could feel this way for her!! "Thank you! I'm super happy for me too."

That's nto a fair thought to have for her friends, but - hey. It's what it is. She's got to get in what she can, when she can. And Adora gives great hugs.

"Yeah! I think they should definitely be able to loosen it up a little bit - you're shoulders are broad, but it didn't look too pinched, and it will look really nice with that shirt... so now we just need pants!"

Adora Rainbowfist has posed:
"Yay!" She's excited, clearly, and grins at the other girl.

"It seems dumb, but shopping for myself is like...a big step. Growing up it was mostly uniforms, and then for the Princess Prom my friend Princess Glimmer chose my outfit. It was this red dress. It was cute but..." She shakes her head and hugs the coat and shirt to herself. "This is better."

She turns the way to lead the two over towards the men's section. "Okay! White suit pants! Let's do this!"

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"It's not dumb! Getting to pick your own clothes is fun, and it's like, the big step to being your own person! I remember when my Mama stopped picking out my clothes, and let me choose them myself - it was really important to me!"

Being able to pick your style, that was important! And sure, she definitely liked picking outfits for her friends, but... getting to see people find their own look? That was really fun too.

"This is going to be a great look, and you'll know what you really like, for the future. It's going to be great!"

To the men's section they go!

Adora Rainbowfist has posed:
She smiles at that and nods. Syhe begins to look through the various choices, eventually finding a pair of slacks that match the coat. It even has gold clips for belt loops.

"Ooooh! This with some of the designs added on??," she asks excitedly, holding the clothing in front of herself to show the other girl.

This is good for Adora. She is slowly starting to gain friends, and it's making everything else seem...easier. Better. Less heartachey all the time.

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
They dig through clothes for a little while, but Usagi hasn't found anything when Adora calls out excitedly. She turns, and - "Oh, yes! That looks really good - it even has the same white as the jacket, so it will match!"

Yes! The victory of shopping! "Come on, try everything on, so we can see how it all looks together, and then we can ask about the tailoring!"

Adora Rainbowfist has posed:
She blinks when she's told to try them on. "Oh, I can do that here?"

The attendant sees the look of confusion from their stand up front and points to an area off to the side, with closed changing rooms. "You sure can. Right in there."

The girl nods slowly and takes the clothing into the changing room. Time passes. Five minutes or so. Then she steps out with a grin. It looks perfect on her, other then the shoulder sizing issues.

"I need shoes," she adds, then. "I don't think my Doc Martins will work. BUT I can find those on my own. I had my eye on these kinda white boots at this other store!"

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Could you not try clothes on at the store where Adora is from? That was weird - a difference she wasn't expecting. But the shop attendant is on top of things, so for a few minutes at least, Usagi is waiing calmly, looking forward to seeing the whole look -

"Ah! You look great! This is going to be perfect, okay, okay, let's go to the attendent - they might want to take some measurements, for resizing the jacket, so best to let them see you in it, right? And then you can show them the pattern you want them to put on everything!" She is clapping lightly, pleased as punch because Adora looks wonderful.

Adora Rainbowfist has posed:
The girl absolutely beams when Usagi looks so happy with the outfit. She even does a little twirl and pose. Adora vanishes back into the changing room, and returns a few minutes later with the clothes over her arm.

She walks up to the attendant and lays the stuff out. "So, I need the shoulders altered. Also, I have these designs I want added here and there to accent it? Gold thread?"

The next several moments are the attendant measuring her shoulders, possibly looking a bit startled by her muscles or not. After that some paper is set out, and Adora begins drawing a bunch of the symbols. She is the only person around who can read them, so to everyone else they look like unknown constellations or something. She knows they mean things like 'love', 'friendship', 'together', 'forgiveness' and 'redemption'.

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Usagi is pleased with Adora's happiness - and once she goes to the counter to sort things out, does a little looking around to see if there's anything she'd like to buy for herself. She should probably get a dress for the ball herself, or maybe her disguise pen would be a better bet, to make sure Usagi Tsukino wasn't ratted out... oh well! Something to think about. As Adora marks out the signs that she wants stitched on, Usagi busies herself with her search, finding something just around the time Adora is wrapping up.

Meanwhile, the attendant has been patiently waiting, and once the symbols are done, looks them over. "We should be able to handle this. You wanted this ready for a few days from now, right? It's a bit of a rush, so we'll have to charge extra, but we can get it done!"

Adora Rainbowfist has posed:
"It'll be the rest of my allowance for the month, but that's fine! I'll just eat at the cafeteria," she replies with a grin. She fishes out the card the Headmaster gave her and hands it over to pay. The girl looks over at the outfit Usagi has with her and ooooohs softly.

"You're gonna look so good in that, Usagi-chan!" Yeah, she's jumped right to chan!

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Jumped right to -chan! Exactly the way Usagi likes it. She's pleased as punch, honestly, delighted with how the shopping trip as gone, and even if there's a lot of information in her head now, a lot to ponder over and talk to Naru-chan about - she's glad of it, too.

"I know how you feel. It's not fair that a good outfit will wipe out your whoooole allowance!" You worked so hard, and then in one fell swoop, you lost everything...

"Ahh, thank you!! I'm really excited, too. This Masquerade Ball... I'm hoping it will be a great night. So I'm really, really glad that you found the perfect outfit!"

Adora Rainbowfist has posed:
The girl beams as she pockets her card again. "Alright, I'm gonna go find a mask to wear and get my shoes. I need some thinking time, though."

She leans in for a full hyug this time, lightly picking Usagi up like she weighs nothing before setting her back down again.

"I'll see you at the Ball, then?"

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"Okay! Good luck - the mask and the shoes, that part shouldn't be too - oh!" A hug! A proper hug, but also, being lifted off her feet like she weighs absolutely nothing... Usagi is flushed by the time she's set down, her smile huge.

"You will definitely see me there."
