Zephyr sighed as she slumped onto her bed, staring up at the ceiling as the little air circulation fan whirred ineffectually. She'd gotten those little steamers to make it look like it was doing something, and now her mismatched eyes were watching them writhe in the air current.
"Dee? Continue log... date... whatever today is," she mumbled to her Device, which pinged dutifully in response.
"It's been... about two months since I landed. For the most part, I have been keeping a low profile and have met... several interesting persons of interest... A young girl called Francesca could be a promising Mage if she can harness her power. Might even surpass me soon at the rate she's going." The brunette chuckles to herself. "Then there's Coco, she's a chipper one. Not much in a fight directly, but that song magic she uses? Potent stuff. I must keep an eye on that one. Then there's the... , Dee crop that one in from your onboard logs; I think they're a group that aren't precisely affiliated with each other but have a broadly comparative power-set based around punching. Seen a few others, I can't classify exactly... and I didn't get many names."
"Been plenty of hostiles too. That guy with the giant mirror thing, a big bear-like monster chasing down Stray (Addendum: Stray is Francesca's 'Code Name'.) Then there was the other Device user, some Ancient Belkan, and the girl who summoned a choco slime monster."
Zephyr sits up, looking out of the window. "I feel like we're building up to something. It's a long way off, but I somehow have a sense of dread. A full report will be written if I ever get off of this rock. Agent Windstar, out."
She looks over at her Device on its little cradle on the desk. "Send that one out; I doubt it'll get anywhere, but what else are we going to do?"
Tenraikaze pings and attempts to send the file.
