Late in the evening, between the Earth and Mars.

Aloisia Stauss was sitting in the small mess area in her ship, another lonely day. Her supplies had been dwindling, not able to bring herself to steal more since she was so close to her destination. It would only be a short time before she would make it there, and she had at least a month's supply of food and water left.

Though calling it 'food' was a bit... questionable. What she was eating at the moment was not really what one could call a meal so much as just... sustenance. A compressed food bar that consisted of a blend of synthetic protein, vitamins, fats, and stuffed full of enough calories to keep someone alive and going for another day. Combined with some instant tea, it was... adequate.

Enough for someone like her.

Over her time in space, in spite of near constant training in a gravity controlled training area, Aloisia had grown incredibly thin, one could almost literally call her skin and bones due the fact she was basically only skin, bones, and muscle at this point.

But almost all of that was over. She would get to earth. She would secure Otto Steiner, and then things would get better.

...Right?

It was at around that thought that alarms started to blare through the small ship as it suddenly jumped, causing Aloisia to fall out of her chair. She immediately stood and rushed towards the nearest console to check on the status.

Magical interference detected. Flight system control lost.

Engines running at full speed.

Magical core disrupted.

Aloisia started to frantically try to get the ship back under control, but it was already too late. She had been caught in the magical sinkhole that is earth.

There was no escape now. Only the inevitable.
