Amu Hinamori The morning light streams through the balcony window, shining brightly on the room's sleeping inhabitant. She was looking forward to sleeping in today but her alarm goes off. "Awww I forgot I left that on." She groans and lets out a long yawn. Everything is just right. The sun is shining. The birds are singing. Something is touching her leg. Wait... Something is touching her leg? Amu jumps out of bed in a panic only to find a trio of colored eggs right there where she was laying. "What? EGGS?! WHERE DID THEY COME FROM! I DIDN'T HAVE THOSE THERE WHEN I WENT TO BED! DID I LAY EGGS? IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?! THIS ISN'T IN MY HEALTH MANUAL!!" She panics.

Quickly she grabs her school bag. Maybe the library at school would have something on finding eggs in your bed? What would she even begin to look for? Eggs? Odd Medical conditions? Why does this have to be so weird? She touches the first egg to put it in her bag. "Its warm..." She trails off before shaking it off and putting the egg in her bag. She gathers the other two eggs into her bag and rushes out the door.

"Amu, you are up early. Are you going to have breakfast?" Her mother asks as she tries to run out the door."

"Yes?" She grabs a piece of toast and jams it in her mouth."

"Amu, sit down with us, Have some eggs." Her mom comments

Eggs, Why did it have to be Eggs. Still she eats breakfast. "I gotta go to school for a thing. I will be back later." She stands up and rushes out the door, making her way to school.
Tadase Hotori Tadase Hotori is... not as nearly as tense as one Amu Hinamori. But he is at school early. Radiant Heart Academy's student council is larger than most schools, but there's also more work to do than most. Tadase's part of a group of particularly hard working students known informally as the Guardians, and being who he is, he's heading into the school early. Floating above his shoulder is Kiseki, the tiny representation of his inner hopes and dreams. And tiny megalomaniac tendencies.

And then behind him, he hears the sound of panicked, hurried feet making their way to school. He turns to see Amu Hinamori hauling it up the path to the Academy's massive doors. "Hinamori-san?" he asks, confused. Sure, it wasn't super abnormal to see her running to school, but normally she was late, not early. Also, normally he didn't risk her seeing Kiseki, but there was no way he could know that this morning was so different.
Amu Hinamori "Whaa! Hotori-san?!" Amu pulls herself together a bit. She looks at him and suddenly is reminded of who he is. Now she had heard about Tadase Hotori. That he was the King's chair of the Guardians. He was essentially a Prince! She had seen him before but it was more in passing. Now he was addressing her and she can't help but blush a little. "Umm sorry. I was just making my way to the library."

She can not see Kiseki. Suddenly she feels something move in her bag. She quickly unslings her bag and looks in side giving Tadase a glance at the trio of eggs in there. "Sorry. I really need to get going." She comments before trying to move past him.
Tadase Hotori Tadase shrugs, and probably would have blown everything off had it not been for that glance. And for the fact that it wasn't just Tadase who got a good look at them. Kiseki did too, and the little king and the larger boy exchange a confused, curious, almost concerned look."

"Did you see?" Tadase began, before Kiseki cut him off. "That girl is stealing heart eggs!" he declared, dramatically.

Tadase tilted his head. "I don't think she's the type, but... maybe we should keep an eye on her for a little bit. And tell the others?" he asks.

"Just don't ask me to watch her." Kiseki replied. "I'm a King, not a guard dog." Tadase sighs. "Really, you're not going to be helpful here?" He asks Kiseki. "This is the kind of things peasants do." he retorted, and Tadase hung his head. "Fine, I'll keep my eye out for her then, I guess..."
Amu Hinamori Amu makes her way into the library and immediately begins looking for books on eggs. All she gets however are books on well Eggs! Books on chickens, Books on various birds, Books on snakes. There are no books that say anything about humans laying eggs! "There has got to be something else here. Maybe Easter eggs? They are colored and stuff." She whispers trying not to draw attention from the librarian.

She looks around for books on Easter eggs. Nope nothing. Or at least that is what she would find if she wasn't really distracted. "Wow the Prince is so hot!" She again keeps her voice down. She already has people spreading rumors about her. Always the same that she is cool and spicy. Last thing she wants is to have rumors flying that she had a crush on Tadase.
Tadase Hotori In the huge school that is Radiant Heart Academy, rumors are one of the things that flies fast. But it does mean at least that Amu is known as Cool and Spicy and not as, well, just another face in the crowd. Useful in some ways, less so in others. And, unique fashion choices also made a girl easier to follow. So that same cool-and-spicy energy meant Tadase didn't have much trouble following her. But while he tried to figure out just what was going on - unknowingly, the answer to the questions she was asking of the library - he overheard her mumble something to herself.

He didn't actually hear the entire quote. He heard the words 'Wow, the prince" - and that was it. "Prince?" Tadase asked, as the energy of the enforced Chara Change overwhelmed him. "I AM NO MERE PRINCE." Amu might hear from a couple aisles away. "THIS LIBRARY IS NOT GRAND ENOUGH FOR A KING" a strange, yet also strangely familiar voice could be ehard over the bookshelves. Someone must have been having... a heck of a day of it.
Amu Hinamori "What in the world?!" Amu asks in a hushed exclamation. "That sounded kinda familiar but she can't pinpoint who it is. She knows Tadase's voice from the occasional assembly but she doesn't know it that well and she of course has never heard him like this. She looks around trying to find the point of the disruption.

"SHHHHHHH!" The Librarian lets out a hushing tone trying to get the little king to calm down.

Suddenly a man with blonde hair walks in with a cart full of cleaning supplies. He quietly walks up to Tadase. He pulls a bucket off his cart and quickly puts it over his head. "Time to calm down." He whispers before walking out as quietly as he came in.
Tadase Hotori Tadase blinks from inside the bucket, and then is just entirely filled with shame. Thankfully he was deep enough in the library stacks to avoid being directly tied to it by other students too - otherwise all of the rumors of the school would have been about Guardian Hotori absolutely snapping randomly in the library. He mouths a thank-you to whoever put the bucket on his head, glares at Kiseki with all of the fury he can muster, and decides not to be here. "I can't even leave myself alone..." he grumbles.

He checks out a book - just a random book on geography, so that people don't suspect why he's there - and returns to the Student Council rooms. After all, speaking of speeches, he'll have to give one at another assembly soon. And at least that will make him glad he has Kiseki - given how much he used to stutter and stammer in front of crowds... But Amu might see him leaving out of the library and know he was at least -there- with her and the strange voice.
Amu Hinamori Amu does indeed catch sight of Tadase leaving. "Wait he was here? I wonder if he knows anything about that strange person yelling." She looks around a little and grabs a book at random. She quickly checks it out and heads out the door."

Someone else steps out behind her, "Hey Hinamori-san, did you hear that crazy voice?"

Amu just turns and looks at the random girl. "Probably some megalomaniac." She comments coolly. Dang. She did it again didn't she. She didn't mean to be rude to someone. She really didn't want to sound cool. Idly she looks around for the prince. But alas, Amu doesn't see him. Quietly some cracking can be heard. Pink eyes can be seen poking out of the bag...
Tadase Hotori Well, if Kiseki were here he'd protest at being called merely 'some' Megalomaniac. Thankfully, he is not here.

Instead, he's with Tadase, as Tadase sighs. "You know you are going to get me into trouble..." he says, lowly.

Kiseki shakes his head. "The only trouble I ever get you into happens because you can't just stand up and tell people how great you are."

Tadase was about to gripe some more, except a few girls came down the hall. "Hotori-kun!" one of them said. "I know it's late but... can you take my application for our club? Please. Please take it to the student council. See, I have five members now..." she sayys. And for a moment, he's tied up with business. Ah, the life of a Tadase-kun. He's pretty sure they had their own student council representatives they could have asked and not him, they're a grade level below and in a pack... but it's nice to be liked, isn't it?
