Bow Ever since Bow returned from Paris, he's been kinda of quiet. His social media has gone nearly dark, only one video uploaded to Bowstrings with him playing a lonesome number on his violin with no commentary to it except that it was from a place he dreams about often.

Eventually he had to return to work - but even here he's been a little more withdrawn. Sure, he leads the kitchen staff in song as they work, but once his shift's over, as it is now, he's not huge on sticking around and chatting. But he wanted some dinner today he didn't have to make, so is sitting at the back of the restaurant, a plate of curry before him as he prepares to eat. His apron and work jacket is off, but he still has his protective net in his hair, dressed further in a little half-shirt with a Chameleon eating curry on the front of it and his work pants and shoes.

A first bite is taken of the meal and he closes his eyes to savor it, before opening his eyes to look at the chopsticks. "Ugh." he mutters, and shakes his head. Move along. Always forward.
Adora Rainbowfist Trying to piece together a new life, along with... whatever went on with a past life through the things left behind, along with, well. Studying. So. Much. Studying. Adora needed a break from the studying. Sure, having something to focus on had been nice, but at the same time, even with the help from Ami, it was a lot of information to process! And sure she could process a lot of it, but she was definitely more suited to other things.

Which is why Adora is now here at Korma Chameleon, a place that apparently her past self had visited a few times from the notes on a calendar she'd read. Something about dinners? Also training with some name she didn't recognize which she'd have to track down and figure out what to do with.

Towards the back she saw... Bow. Oh gosh. Is she ready for this? This... whatever conversation that it would be. But there was something very important.

The fact that Bow doesn't look very happy.

And so Adora walks over to sit down at the table across from Bow. "Hey Bow. Uh. ...Are you okay? You look kind of like you need a hug."
Dark Glimmer Soraia had been out, processing some things. In her 'mundane' guise. Soraia today. Ruminating. Considering. Bouncing ideas around in her head. What did all of this dimension stuff mean, what did it say about her friends. There was a new Adora. Her mother. Was it possible horde Prime WAS back, or was that an echo? What was she going to do about that cat?

And as she passed the Korma... she saw two familiar faces... well. One familiar face and one familiar back of the head. She eeped and dashed, peered through a window... And then hmmed.

What were they talking about?

So, stealthily as she could, she pulled open the door... then dashed to a booth out of sight of the two.

... Then, waited a moment... and tried to dash to the next. Trying to inch closer and closer to spy on them, possibly.

... Bow could, likely, see all of this. This. This was the Glimmer he knew. Even if the henshin made her look a bit different.
Rashmi Terios While she has slowly been unpacking the horribleness of Paris, and wriggling her way back into a new normal, Rashmi has spent as much time as she could spare at the Korma. Not just because it's the environment she'd grown up in, but also because spending as much time in her parents' aura as she can -- when business makes it impossible to spend time with them directly -- has been doing a *lot* to help her regain her sense of mental balance.

Also when she has a shift, happily volunteering her time to help out, even still. Both to stay close to her parents, and to keep an eye on Bow. Which... his emotional downturn *has* been noticed, and worried over.

And then in comes this girl while she's working as a waitress, zooming from empty booth to empty booth like she's trying to stealth through a video game, barely even trying to be *actually* sneaky. For a moment, Rashmi wonders if sneaky music is bouncing around the new girl's brain, and it's with a sigh she just walks up and taps Soraia on the shoulder.

"Hi!" she says, in her best customer-service-cheer voice. "Welcome to the Korma Chameleon! If you know those people, I'm sure they'd be glad to let you join them! If not, since it seems to be your first time here, can I get you started with some cold lassi?"

No, she is not trying to tone her voice down. Those are her friends -- one old, one new -- and she *will* look out for them.
Bow It's like flipping a lightswitch. Dull Bow, Quiet Bow, Withdrawn Bow is gone. Instead, he takes a bite and sits up to chew, and work up the courage to smile brightly after he swallows. "You know, I'm great! Glad to see you back and out, Adora!" Warmth finds his voice, driven by the curry as he sets aside his chopsticks for a moment. "Was just thinking on Paris and the next steps."

"Enough about me, though, how are you?" he asks with a tilt of his head. 'I heard rumors _something_ happened, but noone has really provided me information on what that something is, and I've been so busy, I forgot to pay the time to come visit you. That's on ''me''. My bad. Sorry." he offers with a bob of his head downwards in a bow. "But take a seat and join me!" Not that she hasn't already.

His eyes fall on Soraia. He watches her as he moves, poorly. She's just shapely enough that when she tries to wiggle into a hiding spot, it's kinda adorable and it makes him break out into a smile he can't resist. But for once...

He's not calling her out. She can join them. Or not. But perhaps, so she knows? He scoots over a little on the bench that he's sitting on at the booth to leave just enough room for a Glimmer-sized person to sit. If she wanted. Sliding his plate over, he takes another bite. "I should get you a waitress for your order. If you're hungry." That to Adora.

He starts to flag down Rashmi - someone that had gone through Paris with him - that had suffered a similar fate. But before he can, she's calling out Glimmer, and now, Bow feels the need to speak up, if anything, to help Glimmer. Wait... wait wait... just as he's about to open his mouth to say she's with him. He stops.

She said to him 'let me deal. Let me figure it out.' Well, okay. This will be one of those moments. A glance to Adora. "Don't interfere. She needs to learn." he says under his breath quietly. Taking another bite. Who needs to learn? Well, that's up in the air.
Adora Rainbowfist Adora is largely too focused on trying to just be a good friend to Bow in spite of being completely unsure of her status with this Bow considering apparently she wasn't Glimmer's Adora and Bow isn't Glimmer's Bow and she's probably not Bow's Adora but honestly right now all of that just makes her head hurt and it's not that important.

...Because none of that mattered.
Bow is here.
And that's enough.

Also because her back is towards the door so she can't really see the distraction that is Soraia attempting to 'sneak' up towards them. A conversation in the background towards a potentially unruly guest.

But in front of her Bow was... being Bow. That switch. Dull, quiet, withdrawn, hurting... gone in an instant. "Yeah, I'm uhm. I'm back out and about." She shifts a bit in her seat. Crud. Something was clearly wrong and she was also something wrong. "I'm... doing okay, studying! Uhm. There's so much to learn to be a 'scholaire' in this city and not just for fun to make your dads happy." Wait are his dads here? Is that a sore point here???

Uuuuuugh. She's not good at this 'subtlety' thing.
She stands up.
She moves over to the other side of the table.
And she moves to give Bow a hug.

"I don't know what's wrong but you're clearly not okay and you don't have to tell me anything if you don't want to, but I'm here. Best friend's squad, right?" Don't interfere, she needs to learn. "Huh, what?" She glances around. Looking towards Rashmi, and Soraia. "Uhhh... right. Riiiight. I." She pauses. "What am I not interfering with again?"
Dark Glimmer Soraia eeped and then slid into the booth, grabbed Rashmi's hand and YOINK! Drawing her in. "Shhhh sh sh shh!" 'Soraia' whispered. "Don't let them know I'm here, I'm trying to keep both of them safe," she whispered.

"You see, those two are my friends and they both had some... ummm... how to put it... memory issues recently. And they're going through some really, really, really rough things. Now, I care about them a lot, but right now? I'd likely make things worse if I got involved. I need to let the two of them kind of get comfortable with each other for a bit, before I show up. Otherwise they might end up burying things and distracting themselves before they do it and frankly both Bow and Adora probably really need some hugs before that happens."

Yes, sneaky music HAD been playing in her head. It was not good, though.

"... Also, what is a Lassi? I'll start with that. Oh, I'm Soraia, nice to meet you." Glancing down to her nametag. "Rash-my?"
Rashmi Terios *YOINK*

From this angle, Bow has a fantastic look at Rashmi's nonplussed face, as she's hauled into the booth. From there, only Soraia can see the absolute, bespectacled aura of :| that the redhead displays, as she listens carefully to the other girl's hurried explanation.

This is, she thinks to herself, either an artifact of the Veil, or someone is trying to play a joke on them. Either way.

Drawing in a deep breath, she nods to the explanation, puts her hand on Soraia's, and pops her head over the booth to take a quick look. Upon seeing Adora already engaging Bow in a BFF Squad Hug, she looks back down, smiling cheerfully. "Well then let's make this quick."

Taking a firmer hold on Soraia's wrist, sheemerges from the stall, dragging Soraia along, then stepping back and *firmly nudging* Soraia into the unoccupied side of the booth, plopping down next to the poor girl to cut off escape routes.

"Hi, guys! I'm Rash*mi,*" emphasizing the 'mee' of the last syllable last syllable, with a sidelong glance at Soraia. "Ordinarily I'd just be your waiter, but as Bow's friend and the one who got him his job here I'm just glad to see you two. I'm sure the both of you know this girl, since she was doing such a bad job of trying to eavesdrop. It's good to see you out and about by the way, Adora-chan."
Bow What is she doing, why is she. Bow draws in a breath. He can see the lack of scars, laugh lines, the more youthful appearance. This may not be his Adora. Or even the Adroa that was here. He chews on his lip. "How long ago did you meet my dads?" he asks, "In relation to the last thing about Etheria you remember?" he asks.

Then there's the questions about his dads. Man. He'd love to have them here right now to help him through this.

And then she HUGS him. No, this is definetly not the same Adora. There's a squeak of surprise. And he nearly... nearly cries. But he keeps himself together as he pats Adora's broad shoulders. "It's okay. I'm fine. Are /you/ okay?" he asks her, a reminder that he asked her first.

"And that is Glimmer." he says, gestuing to the other pair. "So back to your side and make room.

He lifts his voice. "Rashmi, she's with me! It's okay. Go ahead and let her join us. And maybe you should too." he admits. "Or not. I mean, I know you're at work, sorry." He releases Adora so she can return to her seat. "And yes, get them both lassis and naan."
Adora Rainbowfist Adora is now somewhat paying attention to the people around her, thanks to Bow telling her not to interfere. But also she's been told not to interfere, so she's kind of just listening. Ish. There was whispering! And talk of ... Lassi and Soraia? Okay yeah she had no idea what was going on over there and frankly it was easier just to focus on Bow for now.

Aaaand then Rashmi was dragging the Soraia person over and bringing them here! And introducing herself. Adora looks awkwardly up towards the red-head and Soraia. "Aaah. Uhm. Hi Rashmi! It's nice to be out and about, yeah." Oh good another person who recognizes her that she doesn't know and that makes it really hard to avoid dropping the whole 'hey I'm not actually your Adora probably'. A thing which she unintentionally reveals most likely when responding to Bow, "A... few months ago? I think? Maybe?" Way to go Adora, that number is kind of impossible if you've been here for a year. Then again that's not that important.

"Oh, you know, I'm fine. Just uh. Just been studying, really! And uh. You know. Fighting with Catra and the ho--bsidian and stuff. Yep."

... "Okay fine I'm bad at this I'm apparently a new Adora and like honestly this is all really weird but you're definitely not okay and I didn't want to put anything more on your shoulders because you don't seem like you're really okay and all these people seem to know me and I don't know them but I know you and ... and... even if things are weird and maybe I'm not your Adora or Glimmer's Adora or whoever else's Adora you're here and ... that's.."

"That's enough for me... and uhm." She pauses. Oh gosh she just kind of let the flood gates out right in front of one person she doesn't know and... Glimmer, apparently? Oh. Oh good. Glimmer. Right. The one who said she wasn't her Adora. ... Yaaay...

"...Uhm." She pauses. "...I'll, uh." She releases the hug. It was somewhat awkward, as hugs tend to be with Adora. She's not great at hugs. "Right." She stands up kind of awkwardly at the end of the table, looking at Rashmi and Glimmer. And hesitating. There's not room over there but she kind of doesn't want to ask anyone to move because that just seems /more/ awkward and she has /just/ enough social awareness to make it even more awkward.
Dark Glimmer Soraia lets out a yelp when the other girl just drags her out and then stuffs her into the window seat like she was some kind of sparkly, leather wearing sausage stuffed into a... actually the example kind of fell apart at that point but it was running through her mind as she was princess-handled! "H-hey! You can't just--"

And too late. She was caught. Soraia eeped and then... face palmed. "Hey Adora. It's uhhh, me. Glimmer. Although, I'm incognito right now. I go by many names... today? It's Soraia. Tomorrow, it might be Gloria Moonhawk. Then on other, other days, Ikken Mangetsu. Usually not that, though."

Annnd Adora was standing there like a lost puppy. She groaned and rested a hand on her forehead, trying to contain it. "Go ahead, Adora, sit by me. Uhhhhh... hey... Bow... Ummmm. Sorry. I really thought... *someone*... on your side would have *Told you*." Dang it, Sailor Moon! Why you no explain everything to them so she didn't have to?!

"So... ummmm... yeah. Lassi and... whatever... here," she muttered, pulling out a black card. "Charge whatever, Sailor Moon said I'm supposed to like. Buy expensive things on their card anyway. So, uhhhhh... Adora... welcome... back... from, ummmmm... I guess it falls on me to... yeah."

"... So Adora's memories are all messed up, like... yours... and Catra's." She was going to leave out the whole 'I'm now scared your memories aren't messed up, that you're actually dead' theory. They didn't need that. "But, suffice to say... Adora is uhhh... back. To the She-ra. I guess the She-ra you knew, actually. Since you said your She-ra disappeared after Horde Prime appeared, rather than just breaking her sword." And what if he wasn't her Bow at all, what if it WAS something else?

She gazed out the window. She had absolutely no idea how to deal with anything with this.
Rashmi Terios Rashmi gives Adora an encouraging smile as she slides out of her chosen seat, nodding the blonde toward it. "Lassi and naan to start with," she says, and chuckles at Bow. "You *know* it's never a problem, Bow-kun, I'd be happy to join."

She then turns an inspecting eye on Glimmer and Adora in turn. "...Rosewater for you, I think," she says in Glimmer's direction, "aaand... strawberry for you. I'll be back with everyone's drinks, and see what the rest of us want for lunch." she says to Adora.

Nodding to herself, she turns and heads back toward the kitchen, scribbling down on a pad on her way.

In this place, *her territory,* Rashmi is absolutely a force of nature.
Bow As Adora and Glimmer take the other side of the table, Bow manages, a quiet. "You look nice, Glimmer." And then he sighs. "I'll be okay. A lot happened in Paris. A lot fell apart. A lot was exposed. I just need to make sense of it all. And apparently, it's best if I do that on my own. Which is totally my own fault.

With that out of the way, he gestures between the three of them. "Doesn't matter. You two are my friends, no matter where you come from, or if you're trying to be evil or not. Adora, Glimmer's moonstone is stuck in Obsidian. We're figuring out how to get it out and here safely so she can stop pretending to be evil becaue frankly, she sucks at it."

"And I suck at being her enemy." Because things happened and got weird and now he's not even sure what to say or do, but stuff his face FULL OF CURRY.

White curry.
He's a wuss.
Adora Rainbowfist "Wait, Gloria Moonhawk? Like Seahawk? Do you pretend to be his sister now or something?" Was Adora teasing Glimmer a little with that? Maybe. It's hard to tell. There was a slight shift at that 'Hey Adora'. She was looking around for potential threats. Look half the time when she heard 'Hey Adora' it was followed shortly by some sort of attack. Speaking of some sort of attack -- possibly something of note that might be mildly frustrating to poor Glimmer... is the fact that Adora has started wearing the sword on her wrist as a bracer. Like she normally would shortly after the Portal Incident. So at least some things stay the same.

She's told she can sit by Glimmer, which ... is fine! Once Rashmi stands and then she is now there and blocking Glimmer into the window seat. Muwa ha ha~. Okay there's no evil thoughts really, mostly just concern for Bow still. She was choosing to focus on that still. That was the important thing.

Take care of each other.

That was the last order of the queen and it doesn't matter what it takes, somehow, some way, she would live up to those words! "But that's not that important, I'm fine, a little confused, but fine. And y'know. The more important thing is that, well. You ... seemed less fine when I walked up." She nods. She's fine. She'll be okay. It's fine.

"Thank you." She says towards Rashmi, giving a small smile towards her. Still a bit awkward. "Strawberry sounds good." Has she had strawberries? She had so many new things in Bright Moon she honestly can't remember. Probably? Well, if not, this is something new.

Bow says he'll be okay. And Adora gives... a small nod at that. "I'm sure you will, but still. I'm here. If you need to talk or... need anything or... anything really." She pauses, before looking towards Glimmer. "And... the same for you, Gli-- Soraia. I know I'm not your Adora. But ... that's... I mean I'm not going to say none of it matters but so far as I'm concerned... you're still my friend and that's what matters." She nods firmly.

And Bow explains the general situation. Glimmer's Moonstone is stuck in Obsidian. And figuring out how to get it out and here safely. Adora pauses, glancing at her bracelet.

Yes she's probably having exactly the dumb thoughts you think she's having.
Dark Glimmer Soraia gave a small smile Bow's way. "You look good too, thanks."

She glanced to Adora, then... reached out and just *wap*, very lightly, on the back of the head. It'd definitely not hurt with that big poof of hair behind her head, but it would hopefully jar her out of it. "No. Don't. I know what you're thinking and *no*," she said firmly. "If you try to charge Obsidian, you'll get killed or worse. More importantly, you have the limiting sword now, which... frankly... oh gosh. Oh gooooosh. You probably think Light Hope is a good guy, don't you? Uggggggh..." Glimmer double face palmed and then face tabled. "This lassi better be good..."

"Okay, right. so. Um. The first ones bound the magic of Etheria up and created the sword you use. THAT sword is first one's tech. But it's not THE sword. More, the magic of Etheria predates it, but that sword is more of a way to like... control, harness and force it out. In my timeline? Adora broke the sword and went without She-ra for a bit. But then was able to bring it out, in order to save Catra and help us fight off Horde Prime. It's kind of like, uhhhh... I'm not even sure how to put it."

"... The sword is like... a crossbow. Sure, it does some of the work for you, but a master archer will be faster and better with just a normal bow. I think? That is more-- OH! It's like a recipe! Wait, no, I'm a terrible cook. It's like... uhhhh... Aaaaanyway, you broke the sword, brought out she-ra, and we ended up breaking the whole like... bindings on Etheria, releasing the magic and destroying Horde Prime."

"And then time and dimensions and all that broke and now we're all here from different times with different memories and I am apparently the newest one. Oh, and Scorpia. Scorpia remembers it all too. But Catra doesn't, but her cat does. And ahhhhh!" She spread her arms out, over the table, going limp.

"Just no charging Obsidian. I got them handled, but I can't handle them if they realize just how much they have."
Rashmi Terios It's about at this point that Rashmi returns with a loaded tray, setting out the drinks first; Glimmer's is pale pink and, if Perfuma ever kept a rose garden, the drink would smell and somewhat taste like it, beneath the sour tang of the yogurt and the sweetness of sugar. Adora's is much more strongly pink, and is very much 'strawberries run through a blender.' Bow's is more of a pale yellow, for by now she knows mango is his favorite, and Rashmi's herself is a pastel green.

In the middle of the table she sets three small plates, each with a stack of griddled flatbreads. One is quite obviously plain, one smelling strongly of garlic and herbs, and the other of roasted cheese.

With that, she slides in next to Bow, and rests a companionable hand on the boy's shoulder for a minute, pausing to look over the girls on the other side. "...Aha. I see we're at the 'catching up' stage; is there anything I missed?"
Bow It appears that no, Bow is not eating lunch alone. Instead, he's mobbed by close friends. Even if Adora and Glimmer are from a different time, or chapter, or whatever. They still are his friends. And as Glimmer explains her place, Bow explains his. "I'm from the aftermath of the sword breaking and all. My Light Hope brainwahed and controlled me into opening the portal to come here to find the former She-Ra that Was before You and steal the runestone to reactivate the end the universe machine again.

When Glimmer flops, his hand touches hers for a moment, a little there-there pat. "Drinks are almost here." he promises.

And Rashmi is timely with that. As she joins them. "Me, well Rashmi and I were in Paris for a big battle. And... things happened." Back to eating his curry.
Adora Rainbowfist WAP. OW! "Okay but if you're working with them then you can help us sneak in like I used to help us sneak into the horde base with the fact that they're surprisingly really bad at updating their old codes considering one of their own turned turncoat but like this isn't that case, you're currently working /with/ them right??? So like. You have /up to date/ passcodes *and* you've been scouting this whole time." And then she's told about how her sword is limiting and also that Light Hope /isn't/ a good guy And that she /broke/ the sword and ... yeah Adora is doing her best to follow this.

But one can see that the wheel is turning but the hamster is starting to overheat. Until Soraia explains the sword is like a crossbow. "Oh I see, so the sword is something to make using She-Ra easier but if I learn to use She-Ra better on my own she'll be stronger. Got it."

See, just have to put it into fighting terms and she gets it! "..." She looks at the bracelet again. And then looks back at Soraia. Aaaand then back at the bracelet. Yeah no she doesn't think she can break it. It's fine. It'll be fine. She doesn't /literally/ have a ticking timebomb. It's fine.

Especially because there's food! She immediately reaches for one of the cheesier smelling flatbreads to take bites from and taking some sips of her drink. Some things never change. If an Adora ever refuses food, that's when you know things are well and truly beyond help. "Apparently my sword is a crutch and I'm better off without it and also the ancient first one's tech lady who was teaching me how to fight as She-Ra isn't necessarily a good guy." She summarizes for Rashmi. It's not necessarily a great summary but hey she at least got some of the bigger points.

"...I'm from immediately after the Portal Incident. And..." Adora hesitates, looking towards Glimmer, and she opts to instead focus on the other bits. "Uh. Light Hope mind controlled you and controlled you to try to steal the runestone..." Once again, a glance at her bracelet. Okay so now /both/ of them were saying the sword is an end the universe machine. "Uhhhhh." Can she even break the sword? The sword generally seemed pretty durable.

...Also if she broke it.
She'd lose She-Ra.
And then what would she be?

"Anyway. Uhm. Big battle. Things happened. But I'm guessing by the end good things since you're both here and uh." She pauses. Sad. Bow is Sad. Maybe not that good of things. Oops.
Dark Glimmer Soraia would take the lassi and sip from it, before glancing up at Rashmi. "So... I'm guessing you're a friend of Bow's? He's always been good at that."

She then turned her head to Adora. Didn't lift it. Just turrrrrrned. "No. I do have codes. The problem isn't that, though. It's moving the Moonstone. It's locked in. Trust me. I've *tried*. Apparently I arrived in somewhere called the 'Dusk Zone', nasty place. I needed Riventon's help to get it out. But it wasn't easy and took pretty much all of my magic, a good chunk of his and my connection to the Moonstone to do it. And it was *not* comfortable. But now? It's really jammed in there. I've tried pushing it, teleporting it, dragging it. I even removed stuff from under it. It just stays there, hovering in the air. Like, if I could move it there'd be no problem. They don't realize just how valuable it *is*."

Or that her mom is inside it.

"But, since we can't move it, they control the area. I can't exactly just... leave it to them. That'd be bad. I had a whole... plan. But I've kind of had to toss the plan, because I'm bad at following the plan."

"... And yeah. A lot of stuff happened. That woman was a jerk and I hate her. She's gone now... but there is still a lot of stuff going on. But Obsidian is *not* like the Horde. There's... bad people there, some good. Riventon is, I think, one of the good ones. Oh, and Scorpia isn't a badguy anymore. She joined the princess alliance and, get this, is a princess. You'll love her. You two are totally going to be great friends."
Rashmi Terios At the name 'Riventon,' Rashmi's expression goes through a few complicated calisthenics, like she's not sure what expression to wear, but none of them are happy. Finally, she just gives up with a sigh, and spends a bit attending to her lychee lassi. "Yeah," she says, when she comes up for air. "Bow-kun really *is* good at the whole friendship thing, I was there when he showed up too. And Adora-chan, I was the one in green and yellow when you came in. Which... by the way, I have it on questionable-but-believable authority that the other Adora... She got home safe. She's back to her happy ending again." This last, said to Glimmer, with a slightly sad, gentle tone.

"Paris was... a lot. There was good at the end, but it took a *lot* to get to that end, and some of us almost didn't make it there. Also... Now I think I understand, this is the first time I've heard really a lot more about your guys' adventures, and this explains a lot." Pushing her glass aside, she picks up one of the naan, tearing off a strip and then tearing that strip into smaller chunks, which she lays out on the table.

"So... Catra-san's from like *right before* the Portal Incident, and she's convinced herself that she destroyed the planet, so she doesn't have a *choice* but to be a monster, because it's all she deserves. Adora-chan, you're from right *after* the Portal Incident, here. Bow-kun, it sounds like you're from later, because there wasn't *time* for a really happy ending yet. And Glimmer-san, the way you were talking about Horde Prime tells me you're from the farthest in? Maybe around about where the other Adora was," she says, setting down the leftmost chunk of naan.

"I know this really doesn't explain much, but sometimes it helps to have something to look at. What *was* the Portal Incident all about, anyway?"
Adora Rainbowfist "And my friend too, apparently! Rashmi... has familiarity to it, but I think this is a 'The Veil' thing like how I didn't recognize you." Well also the disguise. The disguise probably helps. That and the whole 'different Adora' thing. Also the Moonstone is locked in. And floating in place. She tilts her head, trying to think of a time when it wasn't floating in place. "Weird... maybe it thinks that's where it's supposed to be because it's the most tall supertower thing that it could find?" She muses out loud. "Like, y'know. It thinks that it's at the castle because it's the most castle-ie thing. Or someone messed with it." Like this Riventon guy. Maybe. Who knows.

"But anyway you didn't have a She-Ra to try helping before. And she can throw tanks." Adora does the whole punch your own open palm thing. Because she is strong and stuff. "...Your explanation of Obsidian isn't really making me think it's not like the horde. Like Scorpia, she was pretty go--" Pause. "Scorpia joined the Princess Alliance?" And she's a princess. "Well of course she's a princess, it's not exactly a secr-- wait as in she has princess powers? She formed a connection with the runestone???" Honestly that sounds terrifying. Scorpia, the girl who likes to give people hugs, with shadow powers??? Shadow hugs?!

No, the thought that the runestone's powers are different from Shadow Weaver's hasn't occured to her.

Oh good. The other Adora made it home safe and got her happy ending back. Also whatever this Paris was sounded like it went down like a lot of their missions do. Pretty awful but also eventually they made it out.

"Uhhhh..." Adora actually shifts slightly uncomfortably at bringing up the Portal Incident and asking what it was all about. "...So basically, Hordak was trying to open a portal for some reason and Entrapta was helping him I think and Catra eventually pulled the lever that actually started up the portal which my sword was kind of the epiccenter of iand then we went into this world that was weirdly perfect but also people were kind of forgetting people and also they were wrong and I honestly don't know how much anyone else remembers of it because they all kind of disappeared one by one in front of me and I had to kill Catra in there and she kind of disintegrated and burned away and /that/ was kind of awful to watch and also Queen Angella saved me at the last moment before the same happened to me and then we got to where my sword was and..." She pauses. Her gaze turns down and away from Soraia. And she falls silent for a good ten seconds, steadying herself before she continues. "...If it hadn't been for Queen Angella, the world probably would have been destroyed, just like Catra thinks."
Dark Glimmer Soraia gave a small nod. "Yeah, you about have it, Rash-my," Glimmer muttered from her position on the table. "And... yeah. Catra... Catra's kind of dumb like that. I thought I had it all under control, but... wait, really? Adora... did?" she asked. "So... so it was a different Adora, then? But... but if Adora is okay..."

Then maybe that meant her Bow, her Adora, her... everyone was there. She relaxed, just a little bit. And maybe she could get home. One day.

"Maybe. I don't know. Bringing you into there would be dangerous. And if we fail, suddenly I've openly betrayed them AND they have my Moonstone. Riventon... might help us with that, though. Possibly. But I'm not entirely sure. He's kind of cool sometimes, other times? Not so much."

"... It's finding the balance with him, I guess. But... you opened a portal with the sword. Or, well, the other you did. So maybe that's the key to getting everyone home."

"Riventon thinks he can figure it out, if he has your sword. But he's also... a bit... Entrapta. A lot Entrapta. So there's no telling just how true that is."

"And, yeah. She's one of the princesses princesses. She's actually kind of nice. Girl needs so many hugs. I had an ally of mine keeping an eye on her when she got things sorted."

She then stuffed a big bite of naan into her mouth. Almost a full one. Hearing about her mom's... end... was not helping her at all.
Rashmi Terios "Okay," Rashmi says, pursing her lips. "So I mean... apart from anything else we *need* to get your stone out of there, Glimmer-san. ...Also it's Rash*mee.* It's not a Japanese name, the 'i' is pronounced different. But anyway even a She-ra isn't going to be enough to get it out, if we don't even know how to *move* it. And the sword *is* gonna end up being the key to get you all home, but... Last time that happened your Hordak guy darn near *invaded* this world, so I'm asking you guys to put a pin in that until we can figure out how to be more *safe* about that. Because however many bad guys on Hordak's level we've got now, one more is way too many."

Pausing, she taps the charm around her neck, extracting an entire smartphone from a little sunburst the size of Adora's thumbnail, and stares at it for a moment as it makes noises. Nodding to herself, she tucks the phone back where it came from -- somehow -- and sips at her drink.

"...I don't like Riventon. *At all.* He's too convinced his way is the best way, and the most satisfying days I have are the ones where I punch him in the head using magic. ...And I *definitely* don't want to give up Adora-chan's sword, but... There might be a compromise. Which is *entirely* dependent on if Adora-chan's willing for anyone to know *anything* about the sword." With that, she looks up at Adora herself, eyebrows rising. "Which is your question to answer, Adora-chan, and yours alone. And 'No' is a valid option."
Adora Rainbowfist "Mmmm." The explanation of the failure and the potential of open betrayal and they have Glimmer's moonstone... gets a soft sigh and nod from Adora. "...Right... not a good plan then." Hmmm. Hmmmmmmmmm. The talk of her opening the portal gets her to pause, though. "I... don't think I can do that? I mean maybe with Entrapta's help, but I don't think my sword can open portals on its own." She says, ignorant that Light Hope used her sword to do exactly that at one point. Shh, that's the future and spoilers.

"...Well, I do know... that rushing in would hurt you and..." Pause. She looks at the wrist bracer at the talk of Riventon examining her sword. "I ... am hesitant to let anyone mess with my sword considering the last time it was messed with a portal was open that almost destroyed Etheria." Adora says awkwardly. She listens to the talk of Scorpia, making quiet note of it... and to hunt her down soon because she'd been the first one that helped her in the portals, even if she hadn't wanted to originally.

Rashmi speaks her case, and Adora laces her fingers together. "..." The talk of the portal and hordak nearly invaded this world and put a pin in the idea for now. She wanted to be helpful to her friends, but ... at the cost of others? Rashmi had a pretty good argument overall. "...The last times the sword was messed with I was reduced to a woozy mess... or the world was almost destroyed." She frowns a bit. "I... need to think about it." She moves to stand up again, looking towards Glimmer. "But... this isn't a no. ...Let's make sure whatever plans we go through with are safe first. And I'm... I'm going to go back to studying... I have /so/ much to catch up on."

...And it's a good distraction. ...It's a good thing Glimmer paid for the food, too.
Adora probably forgot that's a thing, as she starts to leave.
Dark Glimmer Soraia gave a small nod. "Yeah. Getting my stone out is kind of my priority, too. But I figure I need to figure out how to move it an inch before I can like, move it a mile. For the moment, it's not going anywhere."

"... And if Hordak is coming through, well... we can deal with him. The Horde isn't the worst. That'd be Horde Prime. He's the one I'm really worried about coming through. On the upside, I doubt he'd be willing to work with Obsidian and, even if he was... well..." If ever there was someone she'd betray in a second...

"Yeah, I'm not really in a rush for that, either. Catra... Catra wants to go home, to get out of this. But who knows if that's even really possible? Especially right now. She's in such a weird mental funk... ugh. Everything is going... so, so wrong. Just... just get settled for now, Adora. I'll try and figure out what we need to do. How we need to do it. And I'm sure, with enough time, we can get... everyone... back where they belong."

... With one small, motherly exception.
