| Coco Kiumi | Took a long while, but finally Coco had found it. Sara's Spiral Shell. That was no doubt the same she remembered: long, white, with spines and that little spiral on top. She was about to approach, when she felt it. The shell Sara had used was now full of dark energy. That was obvious. She should have seen it coming, really. Sara had always used that Shell to hold her most precious memories. Going from there to trying and use it to get rid of the turmoil in her heart was just obvious. She knew the intensity of Sara's grief, and it was just clear to her she couldn't do this alone. Returning to Tokyo, and the Shed, she immediately texts any friends who she feels can come with such little notice, explaining that she has found the Spiral Shell, but that she needs their help, and she will explain more on the way. Seira appears, and smiles at the group, but it too doesn't reach her eyes. "Hello, everyone! It will be quick. I just need to open the Dream Corridor. Coco will explain, but... I think you will just see." The rainbow swirl opens, leading them into the world of dreams, through an orange hallway with a series of stops only slightly apart from each other. The ground outside of those steps isn't really much deeper though, but the passageway strictly goes through the appointed path. When they step through on the other side, beyond another swirling rainbow, they will find themselves in a vaste expanse of water. Only algae, rocks and sunken ships made out of wood break the monotony of the oceans. "Yeah, this really isn't a pretty part of the Indian Ocean", Coco comments quietly, and she swims forward first. Seira accompanies her, her doing swimming motions too, though she doesn't really feel the water. "What happened here?" she inquires. Coco shrugs. "No idea. Maybe a battle. Humans fight a lot with each other. These look like they have been here for centuries." She touches a wreck, and part of it breaks, leaving the yellow mermaid with a piece of wood she wordlessly tosses aside. In front of them, there is spot shining with white light, but there is a strong feeling of dark energy. "You see it? That's the Spiral Shell. Probably contamined by Sara's more negative emotions. I thought with you by my side, purifying it would be easier", Coco explains. "It's so strong, isn't it?", Seira comments with a frown. She knows the story, but she never really understood how deeply the grief and hatred had affected her predecessor before coming here. |
| Glimmer Brightmoon | As the Wings of Tenacity and Stubborness, Glimmer wasn't exactly one to give up on anything, so when Fuku had informed her that there was some weird magical relic that she needed to get for Michel... well... It was easy enough. After all the help they'd given her, what was a bit of magical help and paying back some old debts? Granted, after a minor gassing of her room and having to air it out when her cauldron exploded into a rather foul smelling cloud of smoke, she had no choice but to try a different approach. A simple(r) approach... Which was why as the heroes arrived, Glimmer was already there, looking more than a little waterlogged. Shimmering pink, waterlogged wings on her back... And thanks to their presence... A small smirk on her lips formed before, with a flash of pink light, she disappeared and then reappeared, now directly over the shell. Teleports were obnoxious. And trying to find something underwater, in the ocean? Obnoxious. But being led to it by mermaids? Much easier. "Huh, so that's why they did it," Glimmer muttered. "Sorry, nothing personal, but Michel wants this and I really kind of owe him still so..." She knelt down, swiping it up and-- "OW OW OW! Why is it covered in spines?!" As she tossed it from hand to hand before she finally got a proper grip on it. Why were there so many pointy bits on the bloody thing?! |
| Madoka Kaname | Nothing that helps Coco and especially Seira is too much trouble for Madoka to pay attention to it. So of course she comes, as does Homura and Lydian. Kamiko is technically 'here' in that she is taking a nap in Homura's shield dimension. When they get to the shed and listen to Seira's words, Homura just shrugs and says, "Lead the way." There are some brief greetings, but after they follow through the corridor without much comment. On the other side, Homura's eyes glance at the shipwrecks as she listens to Coco's explanation of them. She reflects upon Walpurgisnacht, the tactics she tries to use against it, and then feels a certain way. Were these the unknown fallen from some ancient war, or was this a piracy action? Who was right? Who was wrong? Someone gave their lives over something that was important enough to fight over, yet the only thing she sees to mark their conviction is their graves. Lydian has a more cheerful outlook. "Can we explore the shipwrecks?" Madoka winces and says, "Lydian, sweetie, real shipwrecks are dangerous. Stay close to us." "We're not alone," warns Homura, finally noticing Glimmer. When the obsidian employee teleports over the shell and grabs it, Homura pulls a speargun out of her shield and points it at her. "If pointy bits bother you, then maybe you should leave." Next to her, Madoka and Lydian merge into Hope Blossom, and she floats next to Homura with her bow drawn. "Give that back! It doesn't belong to you." |
| Rei Hino | The Senshi of Fire and Passion being friends with a Mermaid might seem a little odd, but only to anyone who hadn't really moved in magical circles for long. After all, Yellow Pearl Voice was warm and kind, and Sailor Mars was quick to help those who were on the side of goodness; and Rei could always appreciate the passion and energy the yellow mermaid put ionto her songs; doubly so because she did not ask Rei to join in. Plus, it's not every day you're given the opprotunity to go swimming with a mermaid and help them out. For a moment or two, she wonders if this counts as cross-kingdom diplomacy between Mars and Coco's? They were, after all, both princesses. Before she can voice the thoughts, though, another Princess appears - and tries to take posession of the shell. Sailor Mars points a gloved finger at Glimmer - she can sense Bad Energy from both Glimmer and the Shell in different ways. "In the name of Mars, I suggest you put that down, or I will chastize you. Don't think my flames aren't hot enough to work under water - and that should tell you how dangerous it is to take things that belong to my friends." Or well, belong to people her friends know/knew. She doesn't have to be specific, she's giving a Warning Before Throwing Flames. |
| Amy Faust | "Sara's shell?" Amy repeats, after arriving at the shed. "Oh right, this was something about storing memories? Is this a backup plan for the Fade, or did it figure into what's going on with Michel somehow? While traversing the Dream Corridor, she wonders, "Why is it called the dream corridor, anyway?" She stops for just a few seconds and looks around before contnuing on, wondering if she could somehow see the dreamscape in the distance. She absolutely does ''not'' wander off the path. Just before leaving the corridor, Amanda henshins into Magical Rocket Girl Red, with twintails to try and keep hair more easily out of her face and a white-and-black swimsuit with her soul gem on the chest and three smaller decoy gems at the collar -- there is a tiny bit of red armor at the sides and back of the collar, apparently qualifying it as a aquatic battle outfit. She swims after Coco and Seira. "I wonder if humans even know these shipwrecks are here? I bet an archaeologist could tell when they're from... and whether it was a battle, or a storm. I guess they'd have trouble identifying if there's magic..." Amy looks to the others. "Was one of those devil triangles supposed to be here? Or maybe Lemuria...?" She's surprised by the appearance of the shell when they see it. "Wow, bright! But yeah, it feels off... wait, who's there?!" Glimmer. "Why who did what? Hey! Don't you--!" OW OW OW! "Oh! Be careful," Amy warns, "is it like, a sea snail shell? Some of those snails are ''super'' toxic, like the one with a cellular automaton pattern on its shell..." She's been underwater plenty of times now, is getting used to the 'physics works like whichever is more convenient between water and air' magical effect, and can conjure weapons in an instant when the fight starts, so right now her mind is distracted by, "I wonder if that would make it a good shell for storing information?" She mutters, thoughts wandering, "Did anyone figure out if that one can actually do computations...?" |
| Coco Kiumi | While traversing the Dream Corridor, Coco hums at Amy's question. "It's because it passes through the world of dreams. The Orange Pearl's is the most powerful, since it can lead to anywhere on Earth. The others' are a lot more limited." She never really knew why was that, and Sara herself didn't either. If she didn't know, who could, really? "I don't recommend it", Coco agrees with Madoka at Lydian's question. "A lot of these look like they could collapse at any second." Seira feels it before she can see Glimmer: the part of her hanging around the pinkette's neck. "Coco...", she murmurs in warning, but Coco can see her first, and her eyebrows curve close together. This too? She has no intention of letting the Etherian take the Spiral Shell from her. They need it to survive Obsidian's scheme, and this is one of the few things she has left of Sara. "Hand It over, Glimmer", Coco exclaims at her. "That doesn't belong to you, and I think you know better than to take my friend's things." She takes a deep breath as she feels her heart beat faster, and looks at Seira. "We will get it back, and then I will show you so many nice things about her." Seira smiles. "It's a promise", she says, and then turns at Glimmer. "It's really personal. That belongs to Sara, and it should be Coco's now." Curving her hands in a vague x-shape around her shell locket, yellow light radiates in around Coco, and a kaleidoscope of colour flourishes over her form. "Yellow Pearl Voice!" Soft light spreads from her, and her tail splits into two human legs, taking a solid stance on the ground. The rainbow energy glimmers and clings, warping into pale yellow boots that flow into overlapping fabric. Rising up, a golden yellow dress and a short yellow pleated skirt blossom onto her and her pearl gleams and expands, settling comfily into her hand as her trusty E-Pitch microphone, with the yellow jewel nestled safely in the head's center. The Live Stage forms around Coco, and the yellow idol brings her microphone to her lips. "Let's get it started. A concert for a friend, and the safety of the oceans! Pichi Pichi Voice, Live Start!" The rainbow wind blows at a far off coast Before dawn, there was a melody I heard It's a very nostalgic song! The birds that fly towards the eastern sky Now escape to the treasure island using this shortcut Where the paradise of the seven lies After the stormy night Telling you my love, and I will be born again As long as we sing the memories of the seven countries Even if there comes a day where everyone... Is to journey away from here I will never forget Clouds slowly float away, vanishing as they aim for the rainbow's end And then the stars, like pearls, Start releasing a powerful, wondrous light A Live Stage appears around Glimmer, and if the pinkette tries to move out, she will feel a pushback from the white confines of the sphere. Meanwhile, the shell in Glimmer's hand starts glowing red, and a vision appears in front of everyone's eyes. Mitsuki is turning her back to Sara, with the sea stained by the sunset at his right, and his words echoes. "We should break up, Sara. Goodbye." Her strained voice follows. "Why? Did I do something?" The memory ends there, and Glimmer can feel a surge of dark energy washing over her, empowering her. |
| Glimmer Brightmoon | Glimmer Brightmoon cocked an eye at the speargun. "Okay, Sea Hawkra," Glimmer said flatly. Did Sea Hawk have a speargun? ... No. But... but if they knew Sea Hawk that would have TOTALLY been hilarious. Totally a sick burn, guys. "And please, I get chastized by a lot of people, all the time. You can tell Mars or whoever to come and get me herself if she's get a problem with what I'm doing!" Amy's comment, however, made her almost drop the shell again. "This thing is poisonous?!" Fortunately for her, though, her gloves were hard to pierce. And they held the shell very tightly. At Coco's words, however... her grip lightened. Wait. That's what this was? She thought this was something for... As Yellow Pearl Voice's music started, she lifted up a single pink wing, shielding herself as best she could from the song. And then seeing that memory... worse... Her old coworker, who had met a rather brutal end... Glimmer growled, one hand holding the shell in one hand, the other moving out, palm towards them. An Etherian circle appeared in it, enlarging. "You want this, then? Come and get it," she said. Before the waters in front of them began to churn and spin, creating a small little underwater vortex, spiraling AT them, attempting to disrupt both the music AND their attempts to attack her. |
| Rei Hino | It's funny how you get used to things when you're dealing with the world of magic. Like talking under water. Or swimming in a way that the water doesn't feel as heavy to move through. And she's not sure if that second one is an effect of Coco's merfolk power, or something to do with her henshin, or maybe both interacting together. Still, she's never swam as freely as she does now, which is good, because Glimmer is choosing 'chastized' over 'surrender' and putting an exclamation point on it by attacking them. "Don't worry, Yellow-Voice-san, and everyone. We're not letting her leave here with the precious memor-" and she has to stop talking to swim away, rapidly, from the vortex of water. This is obviously a fight, and in the element she's least connected to on top of that. Ami would probably do better... maybe? Would adding water to water be better? Maybe not. Clear of the vortex, she calls out a question. "Will the shell be okay if it gets caught in a fire?" Sailor Mars asks, and while she waits for the answer to that question, she tries a non-fire attack first; trying to swim closer to Glimmer with a sealing Ofuda clenched between two of her fingers, trying to physically press it against any part of Glimmer, or the aura of her stage - she's not sure she trusts it to fly through the water to its target. |
| Madoka Kaname | Homura sideglances at Amanda and says, "I don't know. Maybe? It's not an Intelligent Device. If you wanted to use a memory device to do computations, you'd probably have to do the calculations yourself and then use it to store the variables. There are probably more efficient ways of doing that, though." As Glimmer calls her 'Sea Hawkra', Homura continues to stare at her with a completely straight face. She is a young lady who wields a golf club in battle and hangs out with miniature versions of her crush. She is immune to shame. "Whatever you say, facepuncher." The song starts, and the vortex comes, and neither Madoka nor Homura are surprised by the fact that this is now a fight. It seems that the shipwrecks will bear witness to one more battle after all. Homura fires the speargun into the vortex, and the wild currents rip the gun out of her hands. So much for her plan to use underwater weapons in an underwater environment. She moves in front of Madoka and holds up her shield to protect against the pull, and the pinkette follows up by firing her bolts below the Puella's feet. The pink arrows trace along the sea floor before pulling up, aiming directly at Glimmer from below before splitting into many small arrows that each explode in a saturation of pink sparkles. Hopefully the Live Stage will keep her in place long enough for the attack to land. |
| Amy Faust | > Please, I get chastized by a lot of people, all the time. Amy ''winces'' sympathetically. > This thing is ''poisonous?!'' Amy, who was sort of infodump-rambling, rethinks about this. "I guess probably not since it's just the shell... any creature was long gone before it was even made into a magical artifact, right?" > Homura points out it's not an intelligent device. "Huh? Oh. Well I meant because of the pattern on the shell... but this isn't even that kind, actually..." When Glimmer raises her wing, Amy conjures her launcher, but hesitates to fire when she realizes the wing is not an attack but an attempt to block the song. "Please, don't..." she asks the Dark General. And then, when a magic circle of ''unknown purpose'' appears, she repeats, more alarmed, "''Don't!''" But the water starts swirling, and the 8.4cm cannon ball or two that Amy fires, speeding through the water in defiance of physics, are off-target before the vortex even ''reaches'' her and she gets caught up and spun around, ''trying'' to fire a few more times at Glimmer but the cannonballs end up shooting in any direction. "Gah! [Jane, stop this crazy thing!] I want to get off, how do I get off?!" She's not a particularly great swimmer, and only after trying to swim out of the vortex for a second does she start trying to propel herself out of it with explosions, hoping to move like she's flung through air rather than water! |
| Coco Kiumi | She sighs at the memories, and looks at Seira, silently mouthing she is sorry she has to look at that. She doesn't really want to say it aloud. A bit petty, but Glimmer doesn't need to eavesdrop on this too. She purses her lips when Glimmer uses her wing to dampen her song. Well, it was expecting too much to just have her coscience make this easy. She really feels indebted to Michel. "It probably will", Coco comments to Mars, looking at the intense red aura surrounding the shell. She doesn't think it will be so easy to pierce through. There was a reason she asked them to be here. The yellow princess didn't really expect the sudden underwater vortex, and she has Isuru flashbacks for a moment as the twisting current approaches. She is almost sure they were at the exact same angle, actually. Or a very similar one. Just not dragon-shaped. Powered as it is by the Spiral Shell, the vortex breaks the Live Stage in thousand of fading light shards and roars past with ease, giving just enough time for Coco to get clear of it. Well, that certainly was trouble. She thinks to create a new one, and keep singing, but she watches Amy struggling moving with her explosions, and doesn't hesitate. In a second she drops her henshin, and kicks the water urgently with her tail, arms open to catch the redhead and hold her close, rapidly getting her away from the current. Despite not using it as magic, water is ''her'' element, after all. The shell flashes red again, and another memory plays. Sara is laying on her shell throne face down, arms dangling from one and holding half of a shell in her fingers. Tears mark her cheeks. "Why? Didn't I deserve to know?" Coco turns shakes her head at the memory. "There are much better memories in there", she resigns herself to say aloud, wanting to reassure her friends. "I think it's just picking the ones Sara placed there last." |
| Glimmer Brightmoon | Precious memories?! How could anyone call THAT precious?! These were memories of hurt and destruction, memories of Sara being cast out and... How could they be so... Whatever. She kept her wing up, shielding herself, not moving from her position, even though the stage no longer held her in place. Refusing to move, stubborning staying where she was. Truly living up to the moniker she had taken, ironically. However, as the arrows started to slam into her, she stumbles backwards. Her vortex had shattered her little prison, at least. But she growled as a new memory showed up. So this was what that girl had been through? "Yeah, I am the BEST at punching faces. Here, let me show you," Glimmer said, before she disappeared in a pink flash. Ah crud. Before she appeared directly behind Mars, going IN for a pink punch! Then disappeared once more, to appear above Homura, pink KICK! Under Madoka, and then unleashed a blast of pink, sparkly MAGIC in her face! Before disappearing once more, reappearing on top of one of the shipwrecks. Her wings spread out, casting an ominous, pink and orange glow, tainted with darkness across the battlefield. "If you want Michel's shell, you'll have to try a lot harder than that!" she snapped. Then again, it wasn't like she could just up and leave. Sure, she could teleport... short range, but she didn't know what would happen to it if she dusk ported with it. It was some mermaid... thing. Would it survive in the dusk zone? She didn't know. she'd need HER teleports... and something like that, from so far away? Yeah, that was gonna need some more time and setup... which meant she'd need to deal with them, first. |
| Rei Hino | Sailor Mars' eyes widen when the pink sparkle teleport happens behind her - the light spreading through the water and giving her enough time to brace herself, though the strike still sends her a bit back, with a grimace on her face. "I can understand wanting to get rid of bad memories." Sailor Mars admits. "But even the difficult ones make you who you are, and can't just be cast aside." she notes. "And... because of the protection of the memories within that shell and the ones we carry, there's no way we can let you have it." she says, gritting her teeth. And then bringing her hands in front of her, pointer fingers extended. Shell should survive, Coco had said. Good. "You know, you said for Mars to come to you, and I tried that, so now instead... FIRE... SOUL!" She called out, as the magical fire roared out from her fingertips towards Glimmer, heedless of the fact that it was in the water, making physics sad, but hopefully also making Glimmer sad. Or at least drop the shell. |
| Madoka Kaname | The breakup itself wasn't a surprise to Madoka or Homura. They had some semblance of an idea of what went on between Sara and Mitsuki. Still, seeing it in person is a bit sad. To Homura, it almost feels like seeing a Labyrinth of someone you know, except that it displays the trauma directly instead of through weird obscure symbolism. Madoka can't help but wince at Sara's face, though. That was Coco's friend. Her pink eyes look over to the yellow mermaid to gauge her emotional well-being, but it's not long before the Glimmer Threat pulls her attention away from that. She'll have to do emotional check-ins later. Glimmer is gone. The teleporter is gone. Homura's first instinct is to look behind her, because she knows how this game is played. When she finds nothing, she immediately puts her shield up to deflect the kick. "Nice try," she coldly states. Madoka, on the other hand, has no such experience. So she gets a face full of sparkly magic in her face. "Waaah!" she calls out as she's sent tumbling backwards through the water. The only reason she doesn't slam down hard is because she's swimming instead of walking. Don't worry too much about how that works. Homura, on the other hand, is now angry. She looks at Madoka long enough to know that she's okay, then turns to glare daggers at Glimmer. "That's not how that gimmick works. It's supposed to be like--" Her shield turns. Homura's gone. She's behind Glimmer, standing above the shipwreck, whispering, "Nothing personal, kid." Homura's gone again. There's a purple glowing sea mine in her place. It hangs in the water for half a second before it explodes. Homura appears behind Madoka and catches her in her arms. "Eheh... thanks Homu-chan," says Madoka, with her eyes making a spiral. |
| Amy Faust | Amy is struggling to get out of the vortex and then is suddenly in Coco's arms, held close as her friend swims her out of danger (the danger she's having trouble handling, anyway.) The redhead stares speechlessly at Coco for a moment, until a memory starts to play and she blushes and quickly says, "Thanks...!" As for the memory itself... "A broken shell? What does that mean? Is this when she found out why he really broke up with her?" Glimmer teleports. Amy, in sync with Homura, turns around, launcher at the ready--but Glimmer teleported behind ''Mars'', not her. And then keeps teleporting, Amy frantically looking around trying to see the attack coming, then turns at the sparkles in her peripheral vision, "Madoka!" but, she seems relatively okay, and out of the corner of her eyes Amy sees Glimmar spreading her wings, perched on one of the shipwrecks. "Oh no you don't!" Amy doesn't want to find out what attack this is a charge-up for, and makes a sweeping gesture and conjures a dozen mini-missiles, which arc out and home in on Glimmer from different angles. Amy expects her to teleport, so they don't explode until about a half-second after contact is confirmed, otherwise drifting and then homing again once Amy spots her. Homura's antics at the same time get a wide smile, "Nice one! Showing her how it's done!" |
| Coco Kiumi | This is not how Coco wants to think about Sara. She wants to recall her at her best, not in the moments when she was falling down into the darkness, and she doesn't look at them. She doesn't need to, though. Most of all, she doesn't want Seira looking at them, but with the fight going on, she can't make sure of what the younger mermaid is doing. She doesn't want her to see the moment the kingdom was destroyed. Sara deserves better than this. Coco shakes her head. "She never found out from him. That shell was a lover's pledge. As far as I know, Mitsuki still has the other half." If he loved her enough to go along with Gaito's vengeance, she doesn't see why he wouldn't have kept it. "We can't really ask him about it though, now that he has moved to Germany." She shrugs. She doesn't want to anyway. Suddenly though, the shell stops glowing red and returns white, starting to release purifying energy. The figures of Coco and Sara appear this time, and they must be about six here. "Over here, Sara. We are close now!" Coco exclaims excitedly, displacing the water with her tail one last time with her tail. Small ripples break the transparency of the water, and more form with each drop that falls from the blonde girl's hair. Quietly, a head full of orange hair rises next to her, and Sara slowly squeezes Coco's hand, confirming her presence. The orange mermaid looks around. Walls of stones surround them on all sides, and looming over green ground, guardians of this small nook. The stone's irregular structure provided its own vitality to the hidden place: lavender, yellow, blue, teal, orange and red formations animate the otherwise grey stone. Outside of the memory, Coco's eyes widen, as she recognises the place. She knows ''which'' memory this is, and she feels warm at knowing that Sara held onto it this long. Even after she started distancing herself, she must have loved it too much to part from it, even if to keep it safe. Staring intently, she seemingly forgets the fight, not even noticing Amy's blush. The memory continues playing, and a patch of amber flowers is shown breaking the monotony of the grass, situated just below a breach in the ceiling allowing in the light of day. "How sad", Sara gazes down. Her lips thin as she looks at those flowers. Beautiful yes, but they would always be here, away from any actual warmth. Why did Coco want to show her this? She looks up at her friend's face, which remains cheerful as ever, and she tilts her head. What is she missing? "Just a few minutes more", Coco encourages her at the skeptical expression on Sara's face. The orange mermaid looks around, up, and at Coco again. "Ok, let's sit down then", Sara says, giving her friend a smile that makes the yellow mermaid beam at her joyfully. Hoisting themselves on the stone ground opposite the flowers, the two mermaids wait, and soon a ray of sunlight reaches down directly on the flowers. They slowly bloom, spreading around their soft perfume. "Aren't they pretty?" Coco grins at Sara, scooching over to her friend's side. "A lot", she agrees, and places a hand over Coco's eyes. "One moment", she tells her, giggling freely, and she can see her best friend doing her best to stay still. With her free hand, she takes a garland of yellow and orange flowers out of her bag, and places it atop her friend's blonde hair. It's a bit more of a struggle, but she gets a second identical one on top of her own head, and finally removes her hand. "Sara, you look so pretty!" Coco smiles, admiring the garland. Her reply gets a chuckle from Sara. "Look down, silly." Listening to her friend, Coco notices the reflection of the garland on top of her head. And then... "Thank you!" she shouts, glomping her friend, who smiles and hugs her back. "I had fun making them." Coco leans back and asks cheerfully. "Do you want to stay here while the sun is high?" |
| Coco Kiumi | Sara takes Coco's hand in her own and nods. "Sure. I like it here. You found a beautiful place." The two turn to the resilient flowers, and leaning close together, start humming the melody of Legend of Mermaid at the same time. The memory ends, and Coco's eyes fill with tears, and she smiles with a brightness that contests that of the Shell. "Sara... We really cherished that place, you know? We made sure to come back every year. It was our favourite", she tells the others, and releases Amy from her embrace, feeling a burst of energy fill her. "Let's get this over with!" Transforming again into her Idol form. The Yellow Mermaid Princess raises her right arm and calls out within herself Aqua Regina's blessing, the bracelet on her wrist shining with white radiance as a halo of yellow light moves downwards from the mermaid princess's head and her clothes change again. Her left glove now adheres to her arm with a pattern made up of water ripples, while on her left leg a stocking has shown up with the same water ripple pattern, and on her right hand and on her legs a yellow glove and boots with flowy extensions show up. Bathed in a golden glow, rhythmic pulses of light that give a warm embrace to the pain, soothe all the fatigue and push away the darkness. "Pichi Pichi Voice, Live Finale!", the mermaid princess smiles gently. At the apex of the song, purifying hearts fly out in all directions, the reach of a big circle of love that won't end. "Fine Heart Pitch!", she concludes the performance with a serene smile, extremely strong purification burning the dark energy and the one that holds it. |
| Coco Kiumi | All my love across a yellow sky Trapped inside waiting to reach your mind All I have is what you mean to me Our bond across seven seas All my love across a moonlit night Held inside waiting to set you free All I have is what you mean to me Our bond across seven seas Our bond across seven seas Our bond is everything to me So when you're sinking deep Into a restless sleep I will guide your dreams to me A burning torch to light the way A promise that I'll never break Til nothing's stopping you and me |
| Glimmer Brightmoon | Losing bad memories? Heh, as if Glimmer would... well. Actually, there were a lot of memories she wouldn't mind ditching. But... That wasn't why she wanted this. She wanted this because... Wait... why did she want this? She wanted it because... Because... "Nice block!" she said, giving Homura credit for the block, at least. And then... Explosives. So, so many explosives. She was shrouded in them, disappearing amidst a mine and Amy's barrage of missiles. When they calmed down, there was just... A pink orb that remained. The wing unfurling, to reveal the queen within, letting out a soft sigh. "Geez, you people forget I come from a world with the Horde or something? Like, surviving heavy grade explosives? Kiiiiind of my thing," Glimmer said with a smirk. "Punching through tanks and-- GAHHH!" And then the shell started shimmering with light, purifying light and-- Then it showed a memory that... frankly... Watching it... Made her own heart ache. Was this what it had been like for Sara when she had known Coco? That friendship... And, slowly, the shell... slipped from her grasp and... It took her a few moments to even realize she'd dropped it. |
| Rei Hino | Sailor Mars shakes her head. "Forget? We didn't care." she says flippantly. "You can go back to your world ANYTIME and stop messing with ours, though." she says, not knowing the fact of the matter with her or the other Etherians. With the shell out of Glimmer's hands, though, comes an opprotunity. It's the sort of thing one can just sense. A mixture of feeling in the air. Time to solve a problem. The red-and-purple Senshi smacks a fist into her palm, then begins to trail a circle of fire in the water - the circular shape collects into a series of orbs, as Sailor Mars brings her hands forward."BURNING... MANDALA!" A series of eight white-hot fireballs scorch through the water towards Glimmer. And after that - Sailor Mars swims behind them, trying to get ready to contest the object they're all there for if Glimmer doesn't get the hint. |
| Madoka Kaname | Punching through tanks? Homura squints at Glimmer and says, "That's pretty impressive. I admit it's the first I've heard of that." Homura supposes that means her face is sturdier than a tank... though that's somewhat unsurprising. An actual precious memory plays out in front of them. Madoka wishes she had more time to look at the details, but she gets the overall picture. Sara and Coco really were close friends, weren't they? Then time and darkness took that away from them. Of course, that passing allowed Seira to be born, or at least ''would have'' if not for ''that one guy'', and Seira is also precious to them, but... There's a wistful sort of melancholy that Madoka feels for Coco's sake. They are still fighting though, and the shell is right there. Glimmer has dropped it, and maybe there's an opening there to get it away from her. Homura and Madoka share a brief telepathic exchange before Hope Blossom draws and fires another arrow, then another, then another. Each of them bursts into pink sparkly magic, exploding with force while also obscuring the view. In the meantime, Homura appears next to the shell while Glimmer has dropped it, and tries to grab it. She knows better than to try to grab mysterious magical artifacts while in timestop. They can potentially backfire in ways that she might not expect, but if she's quick about it then maybe her natural reaction speed will be enough. |
| Amy Faust | > That was a lover's pledge... we can't ask him since he moved to Germany. "Oh." is all Amy has to say to the first part. Then: "Well, guess I'm definitely taking Chorus again this year then." Her view of Mitsuki is ''not'' favorable after he helped Gaito. > Like, surviving heavy grade explosives? Kiiiiind of my thing. "[Well, ''fudge.'']" mutters Amy. And then everyone sees LITTLE COCO AND SARA, "Awww! Is that you and her? You're adorable!" "Huh? Why is it sad?"" The memory ends, and Amy's not sure why the place was special, only that the two princesses' time together was. Amy never knew Sara before she was a villain... Glimmer is distracted, and others are throwing big attacks! But if she isn't to use explosions and technology, what else can she do? She cute'd those ghosts that one time, but it wasn't really a ''weapon''... Coco's song of hope for a better future fills her, and she remembers when Hope Concept's hope filled her, when Hotaru was attacked at the ice cream shop. It's worth a shot. Pink sparkles wash over Amy's form, leaving her in a 'cute' magical girl outfit with frilly sleeves and a pink skirted vest and matching mary-janes and beret with a heart-shaped soul gem decoration on it, holding a pink wand with a ribbon on it and a heart at the end. She's holding the wand over her head, and then levels it at Glimmer, as the fabric of her clothes ripples in the water. "Super... Heart... BLAST!" Sure enough, she fires a great big pink heart from her wand that zooms towards Glimmer and-- Explodes. With the force of a few of her 'Repeating Fire' artillery shells combined. It was still an explosive. But if Glimmer wasn't expecting it to be, maybe she won't have used the right defense? If nothing else, maybe she at least gave Glimmer a confused 'wait how do I defend against ''that''?!' moment. Amy smiles down at her smugly. |
| Coco Kiumi | The purifying melody of Coco's song still echoing through the sea as she notices Glimmer dropping the Shell. In an instant her magic materialises a Live Stage around it, and it floats over to her, merging with the one she is already in, and the magical treasure, rests safely in her hands. "Are you gonna insist on fighting again, Glimmer-san?", Coco tells her, feeling secure now that the Etherian can no longer avail herself of the Shell's magical energy. The advantage is theirs now, and she doesn't feel there is anything Glimmer can do to take it away. "This is more like what I meant", Coco smiles radiantly at Seira, and she is happy to see that the other mermaid is watching the memory with a softness and serenity that already declares what her thoughts are. "You were really close. I am glad to see her so happy." Certainly a much more comforting experience. Seira nods in Amy's direction. "I feel that this really is something important, and I am glad left it for us to see." Coco gives a smile that is both happy and embarassed. She didn't think so much about what it was like to have others react about how young she was. That comment definitely echoes what she remembers people saying. |
| Glimmer Brightmoon | Glimmer Brightmoon was startled from her thoughts by the sudden realization that, yes, *ow*, her enemies do have attacks. Worse, her enemies were launching said attacks at her. Fire and arrows came flying at her. "What?! No, we can't! If we could just go back home, do you think we'd still be here?!" Glimmer asked. "I have been trying!" She put both hands together and formed a magical circle, before shoving it forward to form a barrier. The fire struck it, surging over it as arrows pinged along it. How dare they-- Wait. How did she put both hands together to-- THE SHELL! She dropped it! Finally she realized she'd lost it, her focus faltering and... the spell circle collapsed. Fire, arrows AND then a great heart blast descended on her. How was she supposed to defend herself from this?! She had only a split second before-- Bam. She was enveloped in the firepower once more. This time, however, she was not able to surround herself in her wings in time. It... Actually, while it did hurt, she didn't get quite as hurt as she expected she would. As the smoke cleared and the rubble of the ship collapsed around her, she hovered in the water, staring around them, arms up and slightly singed. She stared at Coco and the shell, then down at Homura... She finally sighed. That was a nice memory. Coco did mean a lot to Sara, hadn't she? A finger reached up to stroke the necklace she wore, with that feather in it... "I guess today just... hasn't been my day. I hope more of those memories were like that last one," Glimmer said, before she disappeared, dusk porting away. Once in the dusk zone, she coughed up a small bit of smoke, hacking a little. Okay, despite what she said... Getting hit by missiles, mines, fireballs, explosives, all of that? Not ACTUALLY a common occurance from the Horde. Not truly. Actually, something that RARELY happened. She could take it, but not exactly something she enjoyed, magic princess or not. |
| Rei Hino | Sailor Mars is incredibly happy to see she's not the only one of the group with that same idea; Homura's on the way to the shell and the Yellow Pearl Voice encases it in her little stage, and Mars follows it back over to her mermaid friend, standing alongside her when she asks if Glimmer is going to keep fighting. "Well, wherever you're from..." she begins in response to Glimmer, "... you're not likely to make it back in one piece if you keep using Dark Energy and troubling my friends. Trust me, I've seen Dark Energy end too many things. It doesn't bring you back to kingdoms, it ruins the ones you're in." she warns. She turns to Coco and smiles. "That was a nice memory to be basked in, I think it charged me up." she says. "Dark Energy and the people who use it are threatening our memories - the sad ones, the happy ones - and I won't stand by for it." she says. Then pauses. "Or... float by, I guess, either!" Glimmer's out, maybe even before Rei can finish, and she looks around, hands on her hips. "Well, good. We got what we came for." she says, looking at the shell, and at Coco and Seira. |
| Madoka Kaname | When Homura sees the Live Stage form around the shell, she no longer tries to go after it. Instead, she quickly pulls a handgun out of her shield and points it at Glimmer, expecting another attack. It doesn't come, and Glimmer is gone. She lowers her gun and frowns at the spot where Glimmer used to be while her long hair floats in the blue abyss. As her eyes go back to the shell and to Coco, she sees Madoka swimming towards the mermaids. Madoka with an excited smile, says, "We got it! I thought we were pretty close to losing it." Then she looks at the sea floor and thinks about the memories she just saw. It's not as if it's the ''saddest'' thing she's ever seen. She's spent more collective time as a Puella Magi than she has as a Chara Bearer, not that most in this timeline would really know. Yet it's still a very personal memory for Sara, and probably contains a lot of meaning for Coco. With a more somber smile, she adds, "Seira-chan, let's head back. Before someone else comes along to contest our claim." |
| Amy Faust | Amy's expression softens after a moment. "How long has Obsidian taken to find you a way home? Maybe you're asking the wrong people." she points out. ''If only we had Bow and Entrapta together...'' Amy thinks to herself. Glimmer's gone, and the friends gather together, Amy swimming over to a Live Stage, to stick close to a mermaid for the return trip. "Well, all's well that ends well. We got the shell..." "...What exactly is it for, again...?" |
