Adora Rainbowfist It's been a crazy day so far, for sure. Now that most of the day is over, though, Adora finds herself enjoying some dinner at the Plaza. She had a long, emotional night yesterday, and then classes today...followed by an intense fight where she met some other Magical Girls (And two boys) for the first time since arriving here. The girl always has an appetite, but now she has a mega one. She burned off a lot of calories!

For a few weeks she's barely slept or ate after her encounter with Catra at the abandoned amusement park, but now she's back on the horse, so to speak. In her uniform, the blonde sits alone. She stands out, being clearly foreign, several inches taller then most other kids in Grade 9, and, well...weird, by the average student's ideals. She has several plates of food in front of her, and the girl has gone through two already. Currently, she's taclking a hamburger steak on some rice. She struggles with the chopsticks quite visibly, but the hair-poofed girl is nothing if not persistent!
Double Trouble When they decided to take on the persona of Dianora, Double Trouble didn't realize just how much work they'd be doing just being a _student_. At least they felt like it was interesting most of the time. They _were_ learning things. All of it helped them understand this world better, but it wasn't _fun_. That's what they got in their off hours. There hadn't been any fun for them at Obsidian Tower today, and so now that they're returning to campus for dinner, they're bored and in a mood to cause a little chaos.

Dianora Lagorio is obviously innocent and beyond reproach. Of course she's a chaos demon.

And when she spies tall, blonde, and hungry. She giggles with mischief. Resisting the urge to walk up and say, "Hey, Adora!" She instead goes about getting her meal--a plate of sashimi, bowl of rice, and a salad--and then walks over toward where Adora is sitting.

"Escuse me," she says, sounding kind of shy. "Do you mind if I eat with you? I'm new here." Her voice gets a little more quiet and she looks down and away. "I'm Dianora."
Adora Rainbowfist The blue-eyed (s)himbo glances up in surprise and blinks a few times before she offers a similarly shy smile. Well, more awkward then shy. She sets her chopsticks down and leans back before she pushes the seat across from her out with her foot.

"Get comfortable! It's nice to meet you, Dianora. Interesting name. Most names here kinda stand out to me, though. I'm Adora. I'm from Bavaria," she explains. She's a bad liar to begin with, but Dianora knows the truth, anyways. She eyes the plates the girl brings with her. "That's that sishimi stuff, right? I'm still not sure about raw fish. I'm...easing into it." Yes, she mispronounces it.
Double Trouble Dianora Lagorio walks around and sets her tray down on the table, then climbs up into the chair. She's so smol, her feet don't even touch the floor. She scoots herself in with a bit of effort, and then looks across the table at Adora. She grins and then says, "I'm not from around here either. I came from Italy. That's not too far from Bavaria!"

Double Trouble has been learning so much in school.

They open their chopsticks and put soy sauce on their rice, and in a little bowl. Then they grab their first piece of sashimi--some tuna--and dip it in the sauce. "It's really quite delicious," she says. And then she stuffs the morsel in her mouth and chews, her eyes lidding just a little. Mmmm. Fish.

"So, what kinds of things are you into, Adora from Bavaria? I'm in Drama club," Dianora says. She doesn't seem quite so shy any more.
Adora Rainbowfist "So it is," Adora replies. She has no idea where Bavaria is. She watches her eat the sashimi curiously, her gaze dipping to the smol's plate before returning her attention to her own food. She picks her chopsticks back up with resignation and tackles her meal again. She speaks as she tries.

"Oh, all sorts of things, I guess. I'm still settling in a bit. Things are really, shockingly different here then where I'm from. I'm gonna join the Outdoors club because I love hiking and camping and fishing and stuff. Someone wants to get me into...Kendo, I think it is? I want to see if there's a boxing club, and if not I wanna try and get one going. Same with a Horse Club. E...equestin? Whatever they call it. A club about horses. But we'll see."

She grins softly, then, glancing back over at Dianora. "I don't have the chops for something like Drama Club. Didn't really have things like...plays growing up. Nothing at all like it. So it's all new to me and I'd be flailing pretty hard."
Double Trouble Dianora Lagorio just lets the tips of her chopsticks rest against her plate for a moment and stares at Adora, as if that were an astonishing number of things. Of course, Double Trouble _knows_ Adora, and that's all very much on brand for her. But Dianora doesn't, and so it's reasonable for her to be surprised. Instead she makes big, adoring eyes, and just says, "Wow! That's a lot." Then she pauses. "So, do you like to fight, then?"

She picks up her rice bowl, then, and takes a bite of it. Mmm. Delicious, salty, starchy goodness.

"I've heard some rather wild stories about monsters around here," Dianora says, looking up at Adora. "Pretty hard to believe things like that actually exist, right?"
Adora Rainbowfist "I wouldn't say I -like- to fight," the blonde says softly. "But I'm good at it...and I've had to. More then anyone should have to. But I like pushing myself, and if stuff is going to make me fight...well, I'm gonna be the best at it that I can be. I like the exercise, though, if that makes sense."

She manages to seize a clump of rice and lifts it, before it tumbles back to the plate, her mouth open. She squints down at her traitorous dish.

She hesitates at the mention of monsters. "I mean...I don't know. People believe in all kinds of things..." She'd heard earlier that non-magical folks forget when Weird Stuff happens around the school, so her suspicions rise a tiny bit. She still has no clue this is DT, of course, nor does she have any reason for that possibility to even exist for her. She smiles, though. "But I bet if a monster was real I could take it."
Double Trouble There was absolutely zero doubt in Double Trouble's mind that the girl sitting across the table from them probably _could_ take on any monster they might encounter. They'd seen her in action. So it was real easy to lean into the act and make Dianora have the biggest eyes in admiration of her _senpai_. "I feel safer already," she says and smiles, looking across the table at Adora.

And then she gets back to eating. She did come here for dinner, after all. A piece of yellowtail touches the soy sauce and gets devoured. Om nom. Fish is so delicious.

"Between Drama Club and classes, I have my hands pretty full. I don't know how you'd handle all of that, Adora," she says, as if she doesn't also spend time at Obsidian Tower and out doing villainy on the side. Her voice all bright and full of admiration, "You're so amazing! I'm glad I ran into you tonight."
Adora Rainbowfist The blonde blushes to her ear and luaghs a bit, shaking her head. "I just like to keep busy," she says quickly. "When I'm not busy I...get into my own head. Think about...stuff. This girl. It's dumb. But it really gets to me, so...busy it is." She clears her throat and finally gives in and scoops up a fork, digging into the food on her plate. In moments the plate is polished clean, and she pushes it aside, to tug a plate with a few sweet treats on it. A reward!
Double Trouble "A _girl_?" Dianora asks, looking up from her food, a piece of tuna held above her soy sauce, and looks at Adora. Dianora loves romance, and she even has a pretty good idea who this girl is. She came here to cause chaos and prodding Adora about Catra (or vice versa) is a guaranteed source of fun for one Double Trouble. Works. Every. Time.

"Tell me more," she says.

Then she eats that tuna.
Adora Rainbowfist "Mmmn. Love of my freaking life," she sighs, staring at a little fruit tart in her hand. "We grew up together. She always had...well, she wasn't treated fairly where we grew up. I didn't realise how badly it messed with her until I...moved away. She got mad. She was already broken, and she just filled all those cracks in with rage, I guess. Became this sad little thing that just...bites. We felt for eachother back then, but never said anything about it. Didn't realise the other felt that way." She pops the tart into her mouth and chews thoughtfully.

"Well, push forward some time and we're at eachothers throats for years. It's bad. She says she hates me and all that. But...in the end she realises her situation, and that I'm trying to help her and..." She shrugs an athletic shoulder. "...She saves me. Tells me she loves me. We end up together like in some fairy tale."

She sits back in her chair, looking across the table at the girl. "Then I have to move away unexpectedly, ending up here. And...she does, too, it turns out. I was so happy to see her. Felt like my heart was gonna burst. But she doesn't...remember. She just remembers the anger, and she hates me all over again. I want to help her so bad...and I -will-. I just don't know how yet. But I'm gonna figure it out."
Double Trouble Dianora Lagorio sits there with wide eyes, completely entranced as she listens to Adora's tale. Or at least, that's what it looks like. This is all a story Double Trouble already knows, and Princess Adora here was taking it exactly as expected. The poor girl. Dianora almost felt bad for her. Meanwhile, she needed to say _something_.

"Wow, that's a _lot_," she says. Then she laughs lightly and shakes her head. "No wonder you want to distract yourself with so many clubs. I get it."

She reaches for her salad and takes a bite.

"But if you got through to her once, I'm sure you can get through to her again, right? I know I'm rooting for you," Dianora says with a smile before eating her last piece of sashimi.
Adora Rainbowfist She smiles at the younger girl. "...Thanks. That means a lot. I mean, I have to -find- her first. She isn't going to the school. I bumped into her out in the city." The blonde finishes her last sweet treat and gently stacks her plates.

"Sorry for...gushing like that. Been happening more then I like lately," she admits, a bit embarassed.
Double Trouble Dianora Lagorio giggles and grins. "It's okay, I _did_ ask you to tell me more," she explains.

She finishes the last few bites of her salad. Which is it. The last of her food.

"Maybe you're just finally making friends. I know what it's like being so far away from home," Dianora says, softly. "It can get pretty lonely. It feels good to have people to talk to."
Adora Rainbowfist     She grins a little at that and nods. "You're right. I've started making a few. I had a bunch back home, and I miss them." She misses HER. "But some folks have been nice lately, so...things are looking up a bit." She reaches up to adjust her front-poof a little and then glances aroung the plaza as folks start meandering back to their dorms and the like.
Double Trouble "Well, us foreigners need to stick together," Dianora says, as she also glances around the cafeteria. Then she turns back to look at Adora, "What's your number? I'll text you so you have mine." She reaches into a pocket and pulls out her cell phone, looking at Adora expectantly.

She's really precocious for twelve.
Adora Rainbowfist     She eyes the cellphone and then gives an awkward grin. "...I don't have one of those. Or know how to use one. Sad, I know. I've always been a bit tech-dumb, to be fair. I tried one of the computer classes here, and lasted one class before I asked to be transferred to History." She chuckles wryly.

"But I'm in Room XXX if you ever wanna swing by and hang out?"
Double Trouble Dianora Lagorio laughs and tucks her cell-phone back away. "Oh! I'm in room YYY. Me and my onee-chan," she says with a smile. "So, I'm sure I'll see you around, since we're both here on campus."

She hops down off her chair, then, and scoots it into the table. She grabs her tray and then looks at Adora. "I'm super glad I ran into you, Adora. We should definitely hang out sometime soon."

Then she looks over toward where the dishes go, and back to Adora, "But I should get back to my room. I'm so tired after all my classes and Drama Club today."
Adora Rainbowfist She nods with a smile, happy to have made another friend. "Of course. I should head back to my room, too. Been a long day. I'll swing by sometime. Have a good night, Dionara." She glances back down at her plates, her mind wandering for a long moment. After some time alone she rises, picking up her trays to return them. She then begins to slow walk back to her room.
