Magical Boys on Radiant Heart MUSH
RHM allows and encourages the presence of magical male characters, both OC and CC, on the MUSH.
There are great male characters across the spectrum of magical girl anime to take inspiration from - Mamoru Chiba/Tuxedo Kamen from Sailor Moon, Cure Wing and Seiji from Pretty Cure, Tadase Hotori and Kukai Souma from Shugo Chara, and others.
All of these characters are 'Mahou Shoujo' characters despite being male. They are emotionally driven team players and serve as excellent examples of the genre. They also avoid exhibiting toxic characteristics - though this doesn't mean they don't have flaws!
Magical Boy characters will be subject to the same level of examination for theme, playability, and origin as any other character. They must match the tone and theme of the game and the setting to be accepted.
Reminder:
Characters who are primarily driven by their ego, personal success, revenge, and similar energy are generally only acceptable in Mahou Shoujo as villains. These emotions are tied to Dark Energy.
Solitary, closed-off, uninvolved, and/or antisocial characters similarly can only function in this theme as villains - and we advise against them even for antagonists, because they are difficult to involve in RP.
Characters who are not designed with a connection to the positive points of the theme - friendship, hope, trust, teamwork, love - but instead seem as though they are fully self sufficient and without the softer side of things will be denied - this is a Shoujo game, and characters that seem like they'd be more at home in a traditional shonen setting will be denied.
