Synopsis: | Rashmi texts Usagi about Chiyo's terrible night at prom. Usagi has her fingers crossed for all promises. |
Cast of Characters: | Rashmi Terios, Usagi Tsukino |
- (PHONE) Rashmi Terios texts: Okay so I need you to promise me something.
- (PHONE) Rashmi Terios texts: Chiyo-chan had a terrible time at the prom, but we can't take it out on her date. I offered, and she's not *mad.* So, promise me you'll abide by that.
- (PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: she had a what?! but she said he was nice!
- (PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: i promise. what happened to chiyo?
- (PHONE) Rashmi Terios texts: Turns out when she went to help refresh the snacks, his brain shorted out and he ended up watching the moon with a friend of his for the rest of the prom.
- (PHONE) Rashmi Terios texts: A friend who he didn't tell he had a date to the prom.
- (PHONE) Rashmi Terios texts: It was a whole mess.
- (PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: watching the moon huh.
- (PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: with a friend huh. was this friend a girl?
- (PHONE) Rashmi Terios texts: Right? So Chiyo found them afterward, and the friend was like 'I WILL GET A STEREO NOW SO YOU TWO CAN HAVE A DANCE' and yeah she was. But by that point, Chiyo was so disappointed it was pretty much done. I found her planking on her bed, so there was ice cream and horror-comedy movies and I probably won't sleep well all week but she feels better.
- (PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: hm.
- (PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: how interesting.
- (PHONE) Rashmi Terios texts: ...I think perhaps this guy needs one of Chrono's extra-special training sessions.
- (PHONE) Rashmi Terios texts: Nothing teaches situational awareness quite like fivescore laser swords being flung at your face.
- (PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: no i think i'm going to kill him.
- (PHONE) Rashmi Terios texts: You promised.
- (PHONE) Rashmi Terios texts: It's in my backscroll, and I just took a screenshot.
- (PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: i crossed my fingers when i promised
- (PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: because i had a feeling he would deserve it
- (PHONE) Rashmi Terios texts: I have no way of knowing that so it doesn't count.
- (PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: even if it doesn't count i'm still doing it
- (PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: chiyo-chan deserves for someone to get mad for her and make him grovel! she'll never do it for herself but it's still what she deserves.
- (PHONE) Rashmi Terios texts: Seriously, I just want you to know so you don't miss an opportunity to make Chiyo-chan smile. She needs her friends and her family, and not to be an accessory to manslaughter.
- (PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: i would get suna-san to help me hide the body so i would never be caught. but also i won't really kill him i'm just going to thrash him.
- (PHONE) Rashmi Terios texts: I'm *furious* at him. But I care about Chiyo-chan more than I want to throw a steel folding chair at his head.
- (PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: that strategy won't work on me because i'm a master of guilt trips
- (PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: this guy needs to learn a lesson
- (PHONE) Rashmi Terios texts: I'm not guilt tripping! I'm just giving you the situation as I see it, and oh right the folding chair kid was my old school, you wouldn't have heard about that. Anyway, 'throw a chair at head' is my code for Maximum Furious.
- (PHONE) Rashmi Terios texts: Anyway. If I can't stop you from beating a kid senseless, just try to keep it from getting back to her. It honestly feels like she'd get guilt out of that, more than satisfaction.
- (PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: rashmi-chan
- (PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: i'm four feet eleven inches tall. i'm not going to transform so he's probably going to have really, really sore shins
- (PHONE) Rashmi Terios texts: HAVE YOU MET KUREHA-CHAN. I refuse to believe anyone is a crappy fighter just because they're smol.
- (PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: but also, i think chiyo-chan would like to be defended. i think she'd like to know that someone cares about her enough to give this guy a hard time. i think she'd like knowing that she's worth it, after a *second* boy ruined a date with her for another girl.
- (PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: no but i think i know about her, she's got a rich family right? kureha-chan i mean. also its not about being a bad fighter its about i definitely can't reach his jaw easily. :((((((
- (PHONE) Rashmi Terios texts: ...Y'know what, you make a really good point about Chiyo-chan.
- (PHONE) Rashmi Terios texts: She probably would. Also she was talking about you and Mamoru-san in the same breath as Wako and her boys.
- (PHONE) Rashmi Terios texts: 'Comfy' was the word.
- (PHONE) Rashmi Terios texts: Anyway. I guess the point is I know you care about Chiyo-chan, and she's my friend and roomie, so if I learn she's in trouble or upset you'll be the first to know.
- (PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: yeah! because we all have great boyfriends and they're wonderful and she met *kukai* and *ikuto* and they *suck*.
- (PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: thank you. i'm going to bring her some snacks and news of ikuto's defeat.
- (PHONE) Rashmi Terios texts: I just don't get it, Chrono would *die* before he did that without even texting me so I knew what was up.
- (PHONE) Rashmi Terios texts: I know my boy's got negative chill compared to the average, but like...
- (PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: mamochan would never do something like that either. but some boys are spineless and also stupid.
- (PHONE) Rashmi Terios texts: As Papi would say, 'ain't that a damn shame.'
