A Secret Finally Shared
Date of Scene: 22 April 2025
Location: Tsukino-Osaka Dorm
Synopsis: After a lot of thought, Adrien's decided to share his identity with more people - starting with Usagi Tsukino.
Cast of Characters: Adrien Agreste, Usagi Tsukino

Adrien Agreste has posed:
It wasn't unusual for Adrien to visit the dorm shared by Usagi and Naru for obvious reasons: Dating Naru. The fact that he arrives at the door knocking upon it as he usually did would then be no surprise to the twin-tailed girl that also resided within.

Adrien flashes a sheepish grin toward Usagi when she opens the door to him as he greets with a simple, "Usagi-chan! I was hoping I would catch you around today." His weight shuffles from one foot to the other as he half-leans to glance around behind her out of habit. He already knew Naru wouldn't be in attendance of course, but she already knew his secret as well. It would have been nice to have some back-up for moral support.

Instead he sighs, and shifts his gaze back toward Usagi with another smile. "Could I speak to you for a bit?"

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
It's not unusual for Adrien to visit the room Usagi and Naru now share with Chibiusa. It's a little unusual for him to visit when Naru's not home, but Usagi - in the middle of reading a manga that she's almost convinced Luna totally counts as studying because it's in English again, thanks to Mamoru - doesn't mind. The manga is currently flopped on her desk, with a bookmark inside.

"Hey, Adrien-kun! You found me."

She steps back to let him in, and frowns a little, noting that he seems a little less at ease than usual, and nods.

"Of course, come in. It's just me and Luna today, and she's napping."

Adrien Agreste has posed:
Adrien Agreste exhales a quick breath that he'd held tight in his chest to try and fend off the nervous tension that had riddled him since he made this decision. It wasn't a terribly hard one to make: He trusted Usagi. Plus he already knew HER secret. It was just still such a new thing to *have permission* to share his own that it left him with a mix of nervous energy he hadn't yet found a way to properly expend.

"Thank you," Adrien dips his head in her direction in thanks even as he moves to step inside. One hand grips the strap of his bag tight while the other dusts down over the thigh of his jeans absently. "I ah, I wanted to talk to you about, ah..." He looks back waiting for the door to shut only to flash a toothy grin immediately after.

"It's about Cat Noir, actually."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Oh he's nervous! Surprisingly nervous - she doesn't think she's seen him this nervous since he was trying to ask Naru out the first time, way back then. And yet, it can't be that something's gone wrong, Adrien would just come out and tell her, so what is it?

Once they're inside, and the door is shut, she considers encouraging him to sit down, and decides not to, resisting the urge to flap her hands at him so he'd spit it out.

And then.

A grin splits her face and she hurriedly brings her hands up to cover it.

"Oh? It is?" Is he seeking romantic advice? Her sage wisdom? Her! Instead of Wako-chan! She's really hitting the big time!

"What about Cat Noir? Is there something going on with you three?" Cat Noir, Adrien, and Naru, of course.

Adrien Agreste has posed:
"Three." The word is repeated while Adrien's face turns such a shade of pink that makes it hard to tell exactly what he was trying to get out. He could see her own barely contained aggitation at his inability to just spit it out, too.

"I had this all set in my head about how to explain this," he starts before plopping down to sit on the little couch in the room. His bag is set to the side gingerly. Carefully.

"There's not 'three' of us, Usagi-chan. Never has been." Oh my. A rocky relationship perhaps instead of the wholesome trio that so many assumed?

Before he can say more a small black blob flits out of the messenger bag he always carried with him to dart over toward the blonde. Plagg halts right in front of Usagi's face, bobbing lightly in the air as he floats. One little hand (paw?) raises up from the cat Kwami as he greets, "What my tongue-tied bestie is trying to say is... Hi! I'm Plagg!"

Adrien drags his hand back through his hair still looking a bit chagrined. "And I'm Cat Noir. Plagg is my Kwami."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Three, he repeats, and she's concerned for a moment, because it's not - agitation in him, but clearly he's thinking about something. Is it awkward, being the only non-superhero in a relationship? She's never had to worry about that, except in the sense that Mamochan had been a supervillain, she supposes, and -

"Oh," she breathes out, as he sits down, tries and fails to explain, and a little cat-shaped creature comes out. "OH!"

So this is how Chiyo felt! Well! At least she didn't think Naru-chan was cheating -

"Wait! Wait, wait, you're Ladybug's partner! How did you not freak out like crazy when I had her earrings? How did you both not freak out, oh man." She looks Plagg over for a minute, then smiles. "You know, you're as cute as Tikki is."

Adrien Agreste has posed:
That question earns a roaring laugh from Plagg who promptly grabs his stomach and rolls backward in the air with a peal of giggling guffaws. "Oh he *was* freaking out! So much! You should have seen him once you left after telling him!"

Adrien scrunches his shoulders down with head dipping forward in a nod of apparent affirmation to his Kwami finding it hilarious.

"Yeah, I am. And Plagg is right," he agrees lifting a hand to gesture to the little cat Kwami chagrinned over the response. "I think I paced a hole in the floor of my room once you left. The problem is, I didn't know Ladybug's identity back then. It was always for our safety, so Hawkmoth couldn't get both our Miraculouses." His hand was still held up in gesture so he simply rolls it around to flash the chunky ring he wore at her. It had an odd cat paw design in the middle even though it looked like a signet ring otherwise.

"I finally pushed to reveal our identities when I returned the earrings. It made sense in Paris when we only had each other to lean on, but even then I always felt it would have been better if someone else had known our identities in case of things like that. Ladybug finally agreed."

"And, ah, of course Naru has always known," he adds with an awkward cough. "Sorry for not telling you sooner."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Plagg rolling the air with laughter brings a smile to Usagi's face, and she giggles a little as Adrien scrunches up, before regaining her sympathy. "I'm glad you convinced her. I know I wouldn't know what to do, if I couldn't know the names of my partners. Everything we do is hard enough without having to do it in the dark."

Not the literal dark, sure, but the cloak of anonymity.

"And Hawkmoth... I mean, I get it. He can basically read your mind, when he's got you, and all he wants is you... but still. I think you were right, to push her, and I'm glad she listened." A nod, and then, she's smiling again, bright and laughing. "Of course I can believe Naru-chan kept it a secret from me, but, I can't believe she kept such a big secret! Oh, just watch, I'm going to get her for this one -"

A tease, obviously, before she stops still.

"Wait. Are you going to tell anyone else?"

Adrien Agreste has posed:
With the introductions done, Plagg seems content to flit around the room as if he knows the place. Then again he might for as often as Adrien did tend to visit Naru here. He certainly finds the fridge quick enough. "I don't suppose you've got any cheese? I'm staaaarving." Of course he wasn't, but he was a cat in a way. Some things were universal.

Adrien shakes his head slightly at the question. "Eventually. I want to kind of feel out how things are going first. I'd love to tell everyone of course," he hastens to add in case Usagi starts to argue the point. "But not immediately."

"Although if it comes down to needing to reveal it to keep people safe, I'm not going to hesitate. There's so many other threats going on besides Hawkmoth, after all."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"Um, there might be some cream cheese?" She doesn't eat a ton of cheese herself, but - oh! "Oh wait, Naru-chan's got some cheese in there, it's probably for you. I was wondering why she was so into cheese, lately..."

So many mysteries are getting solved today, wow.

"...Can I tell Mamochan, or do you want me to keep that one under wraps?" It's pretty obvious why she's asking - but it should also be very clear that she's going to follow his requests, if he really does want her to keep it quiet.

"I get that! It's... I mean, just about everyone on our side knows about me, now, but since some of the enemies have figured out who I am, I've been trying... key word, trying, to keep it more under wraps. They came for my house, you know. It's... there's reason to worry."

Adrien Agreste has posed:
"She's been keeping--Yes," Adrien agrees with a small sigh as Plagg apparently finds it, and wolfs it down with gusto. There's a lot of happy hungry cat noises from where Plagg was lingering.

The question of who Usagi can tell causes him to rub the back of his neck hesitantly. "I don't mind if he's one of the ones that finds out, but I think I'd rather tell him myself, if that's all right. I feel like I kind of owe that to him, at least."

He does allow a soft smile though. "I understand if it might come out accidentally though. Sometimes it's easy to lose track of what you're talking about when you're with someone you care about. Plus," he adds with a sudden deeping grin. "A little knight told me you two are engaged now? Congratulations!"

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"I think that's fair," Usagi says, and nods, slowly, "And I'm not going to rush you! It's your identity, and all. It shouldn't be too hard not to think about it."

It's not like she'd be thinking of Adrien while holding hands with Mamoru, after all, let alone doing anything more interesting.

"I'm glad you trusted me with this," is her next comment, honest, before she laughs a little, pleased. "I am! We are! Thank you, thank you. We're looking at getting married this summer, for, you know, magic reasons. Moon wedding."

Adrien Agreste has posed:
At this news there's nothing Adrien can do BUT smile with a glint in his green eyes that seems as if it might be very familiar now that one can pinpoint him as being Cat Noir. The mask might hide his eyes but the lenses were still green as well.

"That sounds like the most romantic location that anyone could consider for a wedding. That's coming from a long-time resident of Paris, too."

Plagg floats on back toward Adrien's side smacking his lips and licking his fingers free of any cheesey goodness. "You're a bit young but I mean, love is love. I don't see you two changing your mind any time soon. Good for you!" At least the Kwami seems to approve as well. Now he's yawning though, and muttering, "Wake me up if something interesting happens. I'm no good with this mushy stuff." And he flits back into the bag for now.

Adrien rises to his feet reaching for the bag to sling on his shoulder again. "Let me know if I can help at all, now that you know I can help out at least." He points out. "I just really wanted to make up for lost time on letting you know. I heard things have been kind of bad for you lately."

"It's getting late now though. I don't want to get an earfull for keeping you up late when you could be resting. Thank you, Usagi-chan."
