Lunar Waltz
Date of Scene: 24 June 2025
Location: Moon Kingdom
Synopsis: During the Usamamo wedding reception, Laisa and Veronica decide to have a waltz on the surface of the moon. They are a bit far away from everyone else, to avoid being disturbed, but still close enough to hear the music being played. A wonderful time is had, and they end up dancing until the music stops.
Cast of Characters: Laisa Samuiko, Veronica Perenna

Laisa Samuiko has posed:
It's a beautiful wedding, right after the redemption and purification of two important friends. The Black Moon Clan might still loom large, but their numbers dwindle.

It's also very busy, and very crowded, and Mou Fubuki has... mixed feelings about weddings that she dare not say out loud, not here at least. Usagi and Mamoru deserve this happiness, and they don't need the angst of a cold-hearted yuki-onna to rain on their parade. There's no doubt in her mind that their love, at least, is true and pure. So she skated away from the venue for a moment to get a breath of fresh air and take one last look at the lunar landscape.

Even though she's seen many a marriage go sour, a part of her still longs for the dream of a happy life and a healthy partnership. It never seemed like a realistic goal until she started falling for a certain phantom thief. She tells herself she's being stupid for imagining herself and Veronica at an altar like that, but... really, who in love can watch someone else's wedding and not wonder how their own might look?

Mou's frozen heart shakes at the thought of her beloved. Feeling a yearning that her curse can't always contain or suppress, she turns on her skates back towards the venue, where she hears the distant sound of danceable music.

Mou Fubuki knew that she would likely not come back here for a long time, if ever, and she intended to make the most of it. So she set out to find her beloved, because the day Laisa fails to at least try to get a dance with Veronica at a Moon Wedding is the day that hell freezes over.

Veronica Perenna has posed:
The Princess of Sarek has bounced around here and there to gather a good part of the food without monopolising the entire stock (many of them she added to her hideout), and the beverages soon met the same fate. The rest of it, she is carrying it towards her beloved. Even if she probably took those herself, the cat thief hardly sees the issue with bringing her more.

Either she enjoys them, or they get added to Sarek a little later than the rest of the stock.

She is bouncing around thanks to the lunar gravity, but said act is also a perfect mirror to how she feels inside after such a big showing of love. She wants to reach her snowsweet as soon as possible, and give her a hug and a kiss, gaze fondly into her eyes, and invite her to a dance.

There are as many as three singers around, plus someone playing an instrument. They are quite spoiled for choices.

When she shees Laisa, she smiles warmly and raises the arm with the bag of food in a wave. "Here you are Fubuki! Have you been enjoying yourself?", she lowers her hand, settling close to the angel. "I have got usagimimi, and...", she looks at the the glasses she is holding in her right hand. "I think this is lemonade with a mint aftertaste?"

Laisa Samuiko has posed:
Of course Laisa would find her beloved seeking her as well, and even bringing her food. Dressed so nicely, too. Mou Fubuki's cold cheeks get a little more red as she watches this beautiful person approach with the explicit purpose to be kind to her. Even if Mou was full, she wouldn't turn down such a treat.

As they come closer, Mou circles around her darling in order to slow down, and then eventually comes to a stop in front of Veronica. She loses a couple of inches as the ice-made skate blades vanish from the soles of her feet, and she glances down at the offered food before looking up at her beloved kitten. "You brought this for me? Normally I'd say something like 'oh, you shouldn't have', but actually... if you're trying to win my heart this was exactly the right move."

She accepts a cup of minty lemonade and sips it, and also takes a bit of the rabbit shaped onigiri, taking her time to eat while staring up at her kitten. After swallowing, she says, "... of course, it's easy to win something that's already yours."

Her eyes glance towards the musicians and singers for a moment, before looking up at Veronica. "Hey... I've been dying to ask you." She takes a step forward. "Do you know how to waltz?" Taking Veronica's hand, she further asks, "... and if not, would you care to learn?"

Veronica Perenna has posed:
The Princess of Sarek chuckles when Fubuki starts making those circles around her, and she feels warmer with the speeding up of her heart despite being not too far where where the snow angel had been using her magic. She looks lovingly towards the snow angel's movements: there was something really charming about Mou Fubuki's slowing circles around her, and even her tail is a witness to it, softly pointing with a small recurve tip at the end, as if there weren't enough signals transmitting the blonde girl's emotions.

"Let's say that's a very convenient secondary benefit", the Princess of Sarek smiles at her beloved, letting her take the glass of lemonade and the usagigiri. "I just wanted to give them to you, in case you were looking. Apart from that, I was eager to find you again. The day really has changed a lot now that the celebrations have started, and it's all so romantic. I really wanted to spend it with you", she reaches down to give her a peck on the lips.

"Have you been ice skating? You really turn everything into an art", Veronica asks with bright eyes when the other magical girl approaches, slowly taking her hand. "That must have been really loving, and with the sight it gives, you had the perfect backdrop to enjoy the moment."

Veronica does sort of know how to waltz. That was on the list of things she was supposed to know for proper conduct at a gala, and she had an instructor on the matter, that made her practice for both the leading and the following positions. However, it has been a while since she last had a waltz, and even then she had never really cared much about it. "'I have learnt how to waltz' would be the right answer, but I think I have gotten a bit rusty in the meantime. I would love if I could brush up with you", she smiles at her girlfriend, squeezing her hand lightly.

Laisa Samuiko has posed:
With a soft smile, Mou Fubuki admits, "Yes, I have been. It's a benefit of my powers, so I might as well use it. Besides, I might be able to use this place for inspiration. It's very lovely." Looking past Veronica at the venue, she says, "It really has all taken a turn for the better, hasn't it? Everyone's so happy now, and to think it was all so scary before then."

With a wry smile, she says, "Who would ever think that New Moon was Princess Serenity? I wasn't expecting that at all, though I have to wonder if the Veil was hiding it from us."

She shakes her head and says, "Either way, you're right. This is a romantic evening, and we should share it with each other.

Laisa's experience with the waltz is about the same as Veronica's. She had to learn it, and it was expected that she learn it well. Granted, she only learned the waltz, and not any other ballroom dance, but that's neither here nor there.

"Oh, then we are both a bit rusty, but I still remember the basics." With a giggle she says, "Since we're both girls, there's no real expectation on who leads and who follows, is there? Well, I suppose we could take turns."

Holding onto Veronica's hand, she wraps her arm around her darling's waist and leans against her, while listening to the rhythm of the music to find the rhythm. "Shall I start us off, my dear?"

Veronica Perenna has posed:
Veronica nods affirmingly. It really is, and with how wide it is, she can tell that Mou Fubuki really wanted to make sure she could try all sorts of maneuvers. She must be really skilled. Oh, to have seen her skate on the platform. She would have fallen for her even deeper than she already has. "What kind of inspiration have you been looking for?", she asks intently, peering at their environment as if she could glean the answer in advance.

Veronica melts into Mou?s embrace, feeling the gentle press of her arm around her waist and the soft pull of the music guiding them. "I imagine it was. Really troublesome, isn't it? We could have stopped worrying much earlier if we had known who she was", she speaks with none of the tenseness she would have given it before today.

"We had put a lot of effort into making sure none of Usagi's identities could be traced to each other. I am sure you noticed there were Usagi Tsukino, Sailor Moon, and Princess Serenity during the fights. I was the Serenity." She laughs with a crystalline timbre. "That's probably the most high stakes impersonation, I have ever done, but I am glad we can put it into the past without much trouble. We have gotten so much joy today in turn, it was at least worth it."

"But this is the one that warms me the most", she adds with a smile that belies the love beneath, and how much she feels full of joy ever since she had heard Laisa's invitation. Her tail curls happily behind her, and she replies "I would love being in your care, my snowsweet." The Princess of Sarek gently intertwines her right hand with Laisa's left, and her left solidly holds onto Laisa's shoulder.

Laisa Samuiko has posed:
What kind of inspiration? Mou Fubuki thinks of how to best answer that. "Vibes, I suppose? This place has a lot of history, though I only know it second hand. I've been looking at the landscape and trying to consider how it makes me feel. Seeing the palace here, and an actual sea, it looks so different than the lifeless rock we'd see from Earth. The forgotten ruins, obscured by magic, possibly forever. The juxtaposition between the emptiness of the now and the life that once lived here. That sort of thing."

With a smile, she adds, "Though, seeing the Earth overhead and the Moon at our feet, that alone sets a certain tone, doesn't it? A change in perspective. The Moon is always traveling around the Earth in orbit, but it's tidally locked, so the Earth would always hold the same spot in the sky." Laisa then glances upwards, back at their home planet, now so far away.

Tilting her head to the side as she looks back at her favorite kitten, Laisa says, "It was really kind and brave of you. I'm glad that it's not really necessary anymore. I saw you, though. Your disguise was really convincing!"

With Veronica's assent, Laisa takes the lead. By now, any ice that had formed around her feet while she was skating has melted. Her steps move in a simple box pattern as she finds the rhythm of the song, the most basic step of the waltz, and once she has enough confidence she moves a little bit more elegantly. Soon they are traveling around the outskirts of the wedding venue together, slowly twirling around each other with graceful steps.

Even her curse cannot dampen her small smile in such a wonderful moment, as her icey blue eyes look up at her darling. Sharing such a lovely moment with Veronica is like balm for the snow angel's soul.

Veronica Perenna has posed:
The Princess of Sarek hums, following along with interest each consideration about this place. "Did you spend a long time exploring too, when Mamoru was still sending the groups over?", she asks with a small complicit smile.

"It really is a different thing compared to what it must have been in the past. And it's all really beautiful despite the melancholy that still clings to it. We are really surrounded by history, and it would take so long to rediscover it all."

Veronica follows Laisa's gaze, to that blue sphere, so distant and so new from this perspective, and she shivers briefly at the sight. It's really beautiful, and yet she gets assailed by a feeling of homesickness. The only thing even remotely Earth-like around here is her hideout (is there any limit to where she can reach it from?) Good thing she has her beloved here to alleviate any such feelings.

"Thank you, my snowsweet, you are always so kind with me. I am glad that's over soon. Hopefully Usagi will have nothing to fear anymore from these guys", she nods calmly. "They had tried threatening all our families, but we were quick to patch that problem, though a family in England takes away a lot of the trouble.

The moments when the dance really begins cause a feeling of peace and quiet to wash over Veronica, just forming delighted circles with the snow angel, and with the low gravity she really feels light like has hardly ever experience, a blessed feeling that only her snowsweet could bring out.

Laisa Samuiko has posed:
"A bit," admits Laisa. She couldn't help but want to look around, though she did at least try to help with Wedding prep. They had traps to set after all, and someone needed to make sure Demande didn't come creeping around. Not that she alone could stop him. More realistically, she'd have been able to give forewarning to the rest of the group.

"I hope not. Them finding out about your henshin was pretty distressing, though I suspect you weren't the only one there with a family that's hard to reach."

Waltzing on the moon is certainly a unique experience. The lessened gravity means that hair doesn't quite fall as quickly, clothes are just a bit more flowy, and one's steps are just a bit lighter and more delicate. All of this adds to the dreaminess of the experience, Mou Fubuki notes as she stares softly into Veronica's eyes. There's a warmth here, and a love, shared between these two Accursed. While caught up in her dance, Mou gets an idea.

There's a chilly breeze around them, light but sudden, and it carries with it a flurry of snowflakes that circles around the two girlfriends, sparkling as they flit through the artificial atmosphere. It adds both a backdrop to their dance, and a light veil to separate them from the rest of the world.

"I love you," whispers the wind, as Mou's lips move ever so slightly. The curse may freeze her heart like this, but even if she doesn't always feel those feelings, she knows that they are there.

Veronica Perenna has posed:
"It was really hard to stop looking at first, right after we had arrivered", the Princess of Sarek nods. "But I made sure to show up soon. I didn't want them to think I fell in the trap of some magical animal, or that I got stuck in a ditch", the blonde girl remarks in a jesting tone. She doesn't think anybody really assumed the first one. After all, that would have been the first warning they would have gotten on here.

The dreaminess of the experience gets transferred to the Princess of Sarek's gaze, who starts looking at Laisa with soft eyes, and she quickly forgets about those seconds of homesickness, just twisting and feeling herself like she is made of air, and even her hair slightly tugs at her a bit like in suspended animation.

It's a really weird sensation, but it adds its own magic with how everything feels new around here, right to the smallest things. But there are certain aspects that are always the same, Veronica smirks when the wind picks up, that gentle breeze, that she knows could only be Laisa's work.

Quietly, her hand on the shoulder gives an affectionate brush, and the cat thief just can't help but look at Laisa adoringly. "You are always so sweet, my love. I am really glad to have you here, in this moment only for us. I can hardly put into words how much I love you."

She wants to give Laisa a small token of her magic too, a message that runs past what comes from her lips, and a small glamour gets added to her appearance, a gold outline dotted on Veronica's eyes, taking the forms of hearts, and they shine lightly every time they turn.

Laisa Samuiko has posed:
Laisa's eyes get a little wider, and her smile twists a little bit, at the mention that her dear kitten might get attacked by a magical animal. "My dear, if such a thing happened, I would scour every inch of this sea looking for you." She doesn't bring up the idea that this whole Moon Kingdom might look like it was experiencing Christmas on the Moon by the time she was done. "Not that I think you'd ever fall for something so pedestrian. Especially since they never mentioned such threats."

Seeing Veronica smile puts the snow angel at ease. Truly, this is what Mou Fubuki wants: Veronica happy, close, holding her hand, dancing... Mou might compare herself to a snowflake, as light and delicate as she feels. Her shoulder tingles at her kitten's affectionate brush, and a slight amount of yearning enters the corner of her eyes.

"I'm glad, too," responds the snow angel. "I'm glad that you and I can share this moment. I feel so light and happy. Honestly... I've been thinking about dancing with you like this for a while." With a wink, she says, "You might have seen my sculpts the last time you were in my room, the ones I kept in a freezer? The dancing couple... I was daydreaming about us when I made that."

With a light giggle, she says, "Sometimes dreams really do come true, don't they?"

When Mou Fubuki notices the hearts in Veronica's eyes, her own heart skips a beat. To make it literal like that... "Sometimes you do or say something cute and it ends up living in my head rent free. I get the feeling those heart eyes are going to be one of them."

Veronica Perenna has posed:
"Eheh, I wouldn't want to make you worry, so I would be doubly sure not to ever fall for something like that", she laughs hesitantly. It has been problematic enough as is without Veronica adding imaginary ones. "I have no doubt that poor beast would be on the receiving end of a serious chastizing the moment your found out", she smiles lovingly at the snow angel.

She is really happy to be locked like this. Even should the music fade away, she is sure they would quickly find their own rhythm, marked by the pace of their own steps against the floor, or by the soft lullaby of their hearts.

The latter would admittedly be a strain to hear, but this dance is making really romantic thoughts enter Veronica's mind, and what's more romantic than having a single heartbeat.

It's not just Laisa who gets trace amounts of yearning seeping through when she brings up how long she has been wanting to dance with her. "I remember it, everything you make is so pretty, that they can't help but win me over. And that statuette in particular...", she nods briefly, retrieving it from her memory.

"This is silly, but I am feeling so happy and warm and you are so gentle, that maybe that statuette guided us to this moment. This really is my dream come true", the cat girl whispers, her tone completely unapologetic for the sappy declaration.

A happy blush appears on Veronica's cheek, brought on by magic that is Laisa's affection. "I am glad you think so, it's what I really feel, and your wind trick deserved an appropriate reply", she speaks candidly.

Laisa Samuiko has posed:
Mou Fubuki is getting perhaps a little too protective of her darling over something said in jest, perhaps because of the mood-altering effects of her curse. She realizes this, and doesn't want to make things weird by not being able to take a joke, but she does love her darling kitten. She hopes its not too unromantic to declare such protective feelings. "It would. I will not permit any such creature to harm you." There is a sternness in her voice as she looks up to her beloved, even if she feels a little silly thinking about a hypothetical scenario.

As heavenly as it is to dance to music, Laisa wouldn't mind just continuing to dance without it. Keeping to the same pace just as they had before. Maybe the wind could hum a tune for them, though it might not be as competent as a singing mermaid.

Smiling softly as the two recall the icy statuette, Mou Fubuki says, "Maybe it did, in a way. Both the intent I had when thinking of it, and what you felt when you saw it. If my art had such an effect, maybe I should make even more romantic pieces." The snow angel winks up at Sarek. She certainly doesn't think that Veronica has any reason to be ashamed of their sappiness, especially because it's a reflection of their happiness.

"You're an amazing girlfriend, Veronica-chan," says Mou softly. After a moment she asks, "So... feeling confident in your dancing? Should we try adding some flourishes, or are you content to keep going as we are?"

Veronica Perenna has posed:
Seeing Laisa so earnestly protective, in this kind of romantic mood... Her face gets overtaken by a bright smile, shining with such happiness one would almost think it would turn night to day. She doesn't want to interrupt their dance, but... She takes advantage of a moment they are turning to make that movement flow into a quick kiss to her cheek, and she is back to her normal position, but her cheerful, deeply in love face confirms it.

Their movements are now so in tune with each other as rusty knowledge gets slowly reawakened, just enough that Veronica can say she is able to follow along Laisa's suggestions with no problem.

"I would really love seeing them, and seeing them happen to. If it's you to think of it, I am sure I would cherish them immensely", she confirms earnestly, slightly tightening for a brief instance the touch of the hand that is in contact with Laisa's.

There is a moment when Veronica just keeps dancing stunned, wide eyes peering at her beloved. What caught her unaware? That sweet Veronica-chan when they are in henshin. "Lead the way, my snowsweet, I will trust anything you do", Veronica winks, voice slightly broken by a glad emotion.

Laisa Samuiko has posed:
Mou's protectiveness gets her a kiss, and her eyes soften a little bit. Of course such a sweet gesture wouldn't interrupt anything, and she takes it in stride. Even if all she's doing right now is smiling at her beloved, in the back of her mind she's thinking of kissing her darling right back. Now... how to get up there? Or perhaps... pull her down here? Mou starts to plot her next romantic move.

As they get more into the flow of the dance, Laisa starts to feel maybe a bit more adventurous. It seems like Veronica is feeling up to it as well, which is good. It means that they can make their dance a little bit better.

With a bit of a teasing tone, Mou Fubuki says, "Maybe next time, I'll just describe my date ideas with little ice sculpts." After a pause, she says, "Come to think of it, that could be another way for us to communicate without people hearing us, or at least a way for me to signal to you. You could use your illusions to similar effect..." She blinks, and then looks up at her kitten with dreamy eyes, "Ah... but look at me talking shop when I should be sweeping you off your feet~."

Laisa takes one step back and releases her one armed embrace, raising her held hand over Veronica's head (which is still quite a reach!) and then tries to twirl her around before catching her darling in that same dancing embrace. If that works, she dances again for another 4 steps before twirling Veronica again, this time ending by dipping Veronica backwards and leaning in for a kiss. A kiss which she holds for a second before standing them both up straight again and going back to dancing.

And thusly, her romantic plot to kiss Veronica is swiftly executed.

Veronica Perenna has posed:
The dance continues, and Veronica is blissfully unaware of what her girlfriend is planning, and she is just thinking about the dance, how they balance each other perfectly, how right now she feels at the center of this world regardless of its accuracy, and how lost in bliss she is. There is hardly any chance of retrieving her now. She is stranded on Planet Romance, and there she wants to stay.

She still has that previous kiss in mind, the pleasant coolness of her snowsweet, that shared contact that felt like a natural part of the dance, something in complete harmony with their affection and intentions.

She considers Laisa's idea with a smile. She doesn't really have any illusion that could serve her so, but she does have the perfect alternative: the calling cards she can produce. It's not the first time she customizes the insignia based on the need of the moment.

One such calling card appears all of a sudden between their joined hands, at an angle the snow angel is able to see it's depicting their current dance. "Something like that, my snowsweet?", she lilts, eyes full of blissful intent.

But there is another intent at play here, and she smiles curiously towards Laisa, waiting to see where her touch is about to lead them. Veronica does lean down slightly, so Laisa doesn't have to stretch so far, and she goes along with that twirl with a laugh, stretching in time for each of those four steps, until it quiets down for that kiss, that has Veronica look at Laisa's sapphire eyes with glowing love.

"That was deviously special", she replies, and her hand invites Laisa's shoulder closer, and then she executes a pirouette, dancing in the floating her, before giving Laisa a kiss of her own, direct with her emotions.

Laisa Samuiko has posed:
Laisa is all too happy to be lost in a world of blissful romance with Veronica. Was there anyone else here on the moon with them? Doesn't matter anymore. All Mou cares about right now is Veronica and nothing else, and she wouldn't mind it one bit if this moment lasted forever.

Veronica produces a card, and Laisa glances at it. "That seems about right. You with your cards, me with my tiny sculpts. You know, just in case it comes up." After all, they've already had to use codespeak at least once, so it's not like it's a non-issue.

After a moment she realizes that she's been called by her pet name again and she shivers. A delayed reaction thanks to the curse, but the reaction is still there.

The flourishes are, in Laisa's mind, a bit playful as well as romantic. Cute as well as sweet. The kind of thing that she'll think about heavily once she dehenshins and sets aside her Rime Rosary for the day. Yet they seem to have the intended effect on Veronica, and putting her catgirlfriend into such a romantic mood is one of Laisa's greatest joys in life. The laughter, silenced by a kiss... absolutely adorable.

"Oh?" asks Mou, being rather calm in contrast to what she just did. "Ah, perhaps I am being a bit devious. I have to be, in order to steal from a thief." She finishes her statement with a wink.

Then Veronica seems to be making a move of her own, and Laisa moves closer to comply. The sudden pirouette, finishing with a kiss, catches her off guard, and...

... only when the kiss breaks, does Mou whisper, "You know... just when I think I've already seen how charming you can be, you manage to take it to the next level."

Veronica Perenna has posed:
Veronica has been so frequently using her calling cards for messages that she doubts anybody is ever going to misunderstand what she means by this. Laisa's sculptures have the benefit of being normal works of art as far as a third party was concerned, but that's probably fine too, since there usually isn't a third party for her calling cards unless they get unveiled by the person in question.

Which Laisa wouldn't do, unlike the targets of her heists.

She giddily reacts to that proposition, and gently presses her forehead against Laisa's, really eager to explore this direction. "You have such nice ideas, my snowsweet", she speaks sweetly, a hand gently playing with her hair, before she goes back to their hand.

Now that they have cleared their brushing up, Veronica feels more at ease giving her all to the dance, though there is also moon gravity helping avoid serious missteps. She continues with their series of twirls, sometimes measured, sometimes fast, and at other time, she wants to float down with Laisa like they are in a fairy tale, if she is of the same mind.

"I only have the best motivation", she grins. "And a great dancing partner. Without you, I don't think I would ever be this inspired at dance. It's you who brings the best out of me."

Laisa Samuiko has posed:
If Laisa were to do anything with Veronica's calling cards, it would likely be to store them in a shoebox along with any love letters or similar things her darling kitten might give her.

... Has she ever given Veronica a love letter? Maybe she should...

Oh, Mou realizes that she's actually kindof hopeless, isn't she? Not even is she done with one romantic engagement that she's already thinking of at least two more. Yet she can't help it. All she wants to do is shower Veronica with love and affection, and when she receives it in turn it fills her with bliss.

Her longing eyes look up at Veronica as her hair is played with, and it really is so nice. Dancing with her here, where they can be mostly alone, was really a great idea.

Veronica seems to be taking more of a lead in their dancing, and Laisa allows her to have it. Mou did say that they could take turns, did she not? The snow angel happily floats along with whatever her catgirlfriend wants to do, twirling fast or slow, floating as if they are in a dream. Truly she could not have wished for a better dance floor.

"Am I your motivation?" asks Mou in a soft sweet voice. "Then I'm glad to be your muse in this, especially since I also get to be the one who shares such a wonderful dance with you. You mean the world to me, my kitten, and I never dreamed I would get to share such a moment as dreamy as this with someone as wonderful as you."

With a slight smile, Mou looks up at her beautiful girlfriend, admiring up close the way she moves in low gravity. Laisa could never be happier than she is right now, and Veronica is the one she has to thank for this.

Veronica Perenna has posed:
Just because she is still eager to do more and more things with Laisa, it doesn't escape to Veronica that it takes two for a dance, and she gives plenty of space for the silver-haired sculptor to take over whenever she could want.

In the times she is being more relaxed, she takes it slowly, hands still in the following position eyes peering intently at any sign that might give her a clue of where Laisa wants to go with it.

But she is really brimming with energy, and she has her favourite snow angel to thank, so when she is given the moments to leave, she is always leading in ways that makes the two of them seem like gymnasts. Is she going overboard? Maybe, but she is not changing things unless Laisa wants her to.

"You are really spoiling me, Laisa", Veronica brings her in a close embrace. "And you can count on me to spoil you in return. I will always have more to give in that department, got it?", she invites her sapphic angel sweetly.

Laisa Samuiko has posed:
Laisa doesn't mind swapping the lead between them like that, either. She loves doing romantic things with Veronica, and she especially loves dancing on the moon with her. They both may as well make the most of the time they have together while they have it.

The snow angel isn't going to hold back either, and if they dance themselves to exhaustion then that just means they'll each rest well tonight, having a wonderful shared memory to take with them. She loves Veronica's energy and finds her excitement both charming and flattering, especially considering a huge part of that excitement is due to their mutual love. Mou is also pretty physically capable of keeping up with Veronica in henshin, considering that her magical style is actually pretty physically active.

"Am I spoiling you, my kitten? And here I thought it was you spoiling me. Just by getting to hold you so closely, I'm getting everything I could ever need." Mou smiles up to Veronica before taking advantage of the reduced gravity to hop up for a quick kiss.

Then after a moment, the snow angel gets a bit of a mischievous spark in her eye and, during a slower moment where the surprise is more likely to be safe. Shifting her hand to grab Veronica by the shoulder, she pulls her beloved down for another kiss.

After pulling away, she smiles up to her darling and says, "My dear sweet kitten, you're always so good to me. Always spoiling me."

Veronica Perenna has posed:
Veronica beams at that new kiss, her soul feeling a melody she doesn't want to stop dancing to. There's a little breathless sound as she catches herself from falling into a daydream, and she gently presses Laisa's hand, reminding herself this is the reality the snow angel has blessed her with.

She floats around her snow angel, cheerfully adding little moments where her hand moves up to brush Laisa's cheek, or she swings behind out to then rotate around with her beloved. Her heart practically sparkles with joy, dancing to the rhythm of the affection she feels for Laisa.

The blonde girl lifts their clasped hands up, eyes twinkling with the realisation that an ice sculpture of this moment would be really similar to a snow globe. Just a snow globe in the middle of the Moon Kingdom.

"That's what we are both doing", she says utterly delighted, her grin just a little smug among the affection. "And I am sure you know that, with sweet kisses like yours." She is far from complaining. Every new kiss makes her blush even more happily.

She lets that linger for a beat, then spins with a delighted laugh. She lets her momentum carry her halfway into a loop before she reorients and moves back in place like a satellite fixing its orbit. Because she is completely part of Laisa's now, and she never wants to leave.

Her expression softens again as she meets Laisa's eyes, and her voice quiets to something tender: "Every time I'm with you, Mou, it's like I'm dancing with a dream that blessed me. And then you kiss me, and I remember it's real."

She touches their foreheads again, one more lingering moment, and then a kiss of her own, light and adoring, her whole posture warm and open, offering her whole heart in it.

"We're both hopeless" she whispers with a dreamy smile. "Of course, I will give you everything you could ever need", she promises earnestly with affectionate eyes.

Laisa Samuiko has posed:
Mou Fubuki is in such an elated state of mind that she honestly wouldn't be surprised if she was dreaming. Yet even if this did turn out to just be a dream, she wouldn't be too disappointed, because not only is it a dream she really likes, but it'd give her even more romantic ideas.

It's already real, of course. Veronica's hand is in her own, and she is holding her close as they move lightly around the lunar surface. Yet that's all the more reason for Laisa to dream of it, as a happy memory instead of a desire.

Each little sweet moment, each affectionate touch or fun little flourish just makes everything better, and Mou wouldn't have it any other way. As their clasped hands are raised, Mou looks up with anticipation. Giggling at her sweetheart's words, Mou says, "Ah, so we are. Then we will both end up spoiled rotten. But in my estimation you deserve nothing less."

The snow angel's crystal blue eyes stay locked on her favorite thief as the latter spins, and watching her darling move so gracefully elevates Laisa's heart rate. If that wasn't enough, she follows it up with such sweet words. "I feel the same way. My kitten, you are both my dream and my reality, and I count myself lucky for getting to say so."

Not even her curse-frozen heart could stay cold in the light of such loving warmth. Their foreheads touch, and Mou closes her eyes in anticipation as their lips touch. She sighs through her nose as she holds the kiss, and when it breaks she opens her eyes to stare longingly into her beloved's.

"We are, so hopeless. I'm hopelessly in love with you, and I'll give you anything too. Want or need," she promises in return, knowing full well that she wouldn't even be able to say it in this state unless she really, really meant it.

Veronica Perenna has posed:
Maybe it would turn into a dream, because this dance Veronica is having with Laisa is so precious to her heart that she wouldn't be surprised if it later followed her in her sleep, when she would keep showering her with delight. The dreamworld is a real place, so who is to say their souls have never touched each other in their sleep?

Also dream demons seem to come with the package, so maybe there will be a time where Veronica and Laisa would meet up there and even fight together in a special dream adventure. She wouldn't be very worried then, regardless of how much harder these "dreamons" would be. It's precisely next to her where Veronica feels so much stronger.

Her hands gently find Laisa's cheeks at that new kiss, lightly tracing the curve of her jaw as if memorizing the shape to find it again in her paintings. "So if we're both going to be spoiled," she whispers with an impish tone, her lips stretched into a little grin, "we are at least doing it with style. On the moon, with the Earth watching over us, surrounded by magic."

With that, she gently tugs Laisa into a slow twirl; more of a playful glide really, feet barely touching the lunar ground, her laugh like wind chimes in the chill. Her heart, her joy and her love all shine unabashed, forever dedicated to her snow angel.

Veronica leans closer, with eyes shimmering as the ocean and her lashes fluttering a little. The blonde thief gives Laisa a smile that is once more soft and adoring. "Thank you for inviting me to dance. I am having so much fun."

Laisa Samuiko has posed:
Laisa has no doubt that she'll be having pleasant dreams about this day for a while yet. Maybe she'll even share that dream with Veronica, considering how dream worlds can potentially be linked. If they do have to face any horrible dream demons, would they be able to defeat them by dancing? One never knows, because magic is as sweet and cute as it is weird.

Either way, Laisa would have no objection sharing such an adventure with Veronica, her one and only.

Mou Fubuki feels the delicate trace of her kitten's touch against her jawline, and she smiles up to her as she hears her words. "True! It would be difficult to find a more stylish place than this, where the scenery is so beautiful and we are both lighter than ever. This is, in some ways, a celebration of love itself, so it's only fitting that we celebrate as well."

Laisa happily follows along with Veronica's slow twirl, gliding along the lunar surface and smiling as she appreciates the sound of her darling's laughter. This is truly a wonderful moment, shared with a wonderful person, whom Laisa wouldn't mind spending forever with. She starts to consider what their own wedding would potentially be like. Somewhere on Sarek, maybe?

Mou blushes as Veronica leans closer, softly gazing into those shimmering eyes. "Thank you for accepting, though I get the feeling you might have invited me if I hadn't done so first."

She steps a few more times, dreamily ignoring the world around them for a moment or two until she realizes something. Mou glances over to where the mahou have gathered for the wedding reception and notes, "The music stopped. Eheh... I think people are getting ready to leave. We spent this entire time dancing." With her icey blue eyes shining up at her beloved, Mou says, "I guess that means we made the most of it, didn't we?"

Veronica Perenna has posed:
There was little doubt that Laisa had enjoyed herself here with her reactions today, but even so, Veronica is extremely happy to hear her say it, and the enthusiasm with which she celebrates love. If she hadn't taken up sculpting, maybe she would have eventually taken up poetry, with how sweet her words resonate with Veronica.

Sarek certainly wouldn't be excluded from a place to host their very own celebration of love. It's big enough for all their friends, it has a beautiful scenery, and most importantly, is when they first decided to enter a relationship together. Is there any more fitting place?

As much as Veronica would enjoy losing herself in a dance with Laisa, here under the moon's star mantle, the music soon ends and they wake up from their sweet trance. "It was time well spent", the cat thief smiles agreeably, turning briefly towards the place they departed from before blue meets blue again when their gazes cross path.

"They are probably tidying up the place now, we should probably go and help them", Veronica suggests, and she squeezes Laisa's hand just one more time. "There is still a bit of time before they depart, so at least we don't have to worry about missing that."

Laisa Samuiko has posed:
Mou Fubuki has very much enjoyed herself this whole time, but it seems like that time is coming to an end. At least until they find time to make the next wonderful memory. With a slight amount of reluctance, Laisa pulls away from Veronica, releasing her beloved kitten from her embrace... at least for now. Within her cold blue eyes is a promise that they will be having more romantic encounters in the future, if Mou has any say in it.

"It was, and I'm happy to have spent it with you," she states, a little flatly. Her heart gets a little more chilly as the moment passes, and she squeezes her kitten's hand in return before letting it go, tracing her fingers against her darling's as they part.

"I would like that, actually. Helping them clean up. With you. Maybe chores like that don't seem very romantic, but... sometimes working together is a part of being together. At least that's what I think."

She hesitates for a moment, looking down at the lunar dirt and the trail of footprints they left behind, then she gently hops up to throw her arms around Veronica for one more kiss, before releasing her again and starting to head back to the reception. "Shall we go help our friends, beloved kitten?"

Veronica Perenna has posed:
Veronica gives a smile at Laisa's opinion. There is truth in what she is saying, and one Veronica finds herself agreeing with. Maybe it's not people's first idea of a date, but the snow angel would be able to make watching paint dry interesting (even if perhaps she shouldn't be the one to say that, with how many times she has started doing something else once she had made sure her paintings were adequately protected).

That hop is more than welcomed into Veronica's embrace, and the catgirl presses her lips against Laisa's, feeling warmth even through the curse once she makes contact with their softness. She gently lowers her to the ground, not wanting to leave the pleasure to do it to the unbalanced gravity, and then she very lightly presses against Laisa's side as they start walking.

"I am right with you, my snowsweet", she replies, and then she playfully adds a meow right at the end, gazing tenderly ahead, just as much as she looks forward to any new romantic encounter that might lie in wait for the two of them.
