A digital hourglass.

A girl with jaw-length dark-blue hair and brown eyes sits at a school desk, with pencil and paper.
She is focused, but also distant. An expression, but no emotion behind it. She looks bored honestly.
She writes on her paper.
She pauses.
She writes again.
She is one of twelve students sitting in a class room. The hallway visible through windows on the right shows darkness. The windows to the left look upon the outside, dark as one expects it to be at night, save for the lights of the city below.
A movable marker board stands at the front of the class, with the words, "Mock Exam" written and circled in red. Below it are the words, "60 Minutes".
The digital hourglass is inside of a clockface, instead of any form of normal clock, and it hangs on the wall at the far end of the class room.
Other than the sound of digital grains of sand running out, the writing of the students, and the footsteps of the teacher overseeing the test, the room is silent.
The blue-haired girl is on question number 2--No, wait, question number 1? They seem to be out of order.
Either way, it's the second question on the test. The first question was some complicated math problem that she decided to skip over.
