On Respect
RESPECT:
One of the most important things in a cooperative roleplay environment is that everyone feels heard and respected. Actions that don't take into consideration the feelings of others can cause hostility and negative emotions, which isn't something we want to see driven into our game. While sometimes things can occur that are unintentional, repeated disrespect of the feelings of others will escalate from warnings to you being uninvited to play on the MUSH.
The ways that someone can show respect or disrespect could go on forever, so instead, here are some examples:
Don't hog the spotlight, especially in a scene that you're not running, or that has a clear purpose defined that isn't yours.
Don't open a scene that you don't intend to actually start/run at the moment, so there's not blank scenes in the log.
Don't schedule or move a scheduled open scene on top of another player's open scene without at least informing them and ideally getting their blessing. (Generally, a 3+ hour window after the start time is acceptable.)
