She'd already given her report. That she'd met Hannah Steiner. That they'd fought. That she had 'won', but hadn't removed Hannah Steiner.
She left out a lot of details.
Aloisia Stauss had given up on defenses to her actions at this point. She was simply sitting there listening to Otto Steiner berate her for her failure to kill the heiress. That she had had a chance to end this all but failed.
A strange spider... creature... meanwhile had been there patting her head and saying little platitudes about how she'd done such a good job gathering so much energy.
It was too much.
Far too much.
She was dissatisfied. The entire fight...
It was wrong. She'd imagined it. This fury-filled battle. This battle to the death where they were both pushed to the brink.
It wasn't that.
It was so much less than that.
The dissatisfaction is immeasurable.
Hannah had attacked without defenses in place, no backup shields, no nothing, just an all-in attack. It shouldn't have been a matter of training. Hannah Steiner is of royal blood. She should have had royal training in fighting. Even if she never saw real combat, even if she only ever saw duels she should have been better than that.
Was it this planet? This lost logia of a planet?
Did it take away people's competence?
A royal barrier jacket shouldn't have been pierced so easily.
A royal fighter shouldn't have *gone down* that easily, even to a defense-piercing attack.
Do they not expect counter attacks THROUGH their attacks on this world???
Did this world make her weak?
Because surely it wasn't her own strength. She was just some backwater noble on a dirtball of a planet who spent most of her time fighting pirates or animals.
Hannah had barely even wanted to fight her, too.
Someone who all but openly claimed to be part of the insurrectionist force. Aligned with the coup. And yet she barely even wanted to fight her.
AND THERE WAS A TRUCE?!
How has this gone on this long?!
How had this not ended that time spent in space?!
Aloisia Stauss is dissatisfied.
Hannah Steiner is far too weak.
She will have to rectify that. That TSAB agent seemed competent. She will have to talk to him.
...Wait.
Why suggest training for her enemy?
Why couldn't she just end it there?
...Ugh.
It's hard to think with this constant ranting and headpatting.
She wants to go home.
...Not that she ever can.
