Eclipse Zone Feedback

Location:	The Shed
Synopsis:	Bow and Ami present their idea for how to turn the Eclipse Zone on Obsidian and a plan is made to carry it out. Prom is also discussed, and Usagi finds out Ami has a date. And Bow has completely forgot to ask his.

Bow has posed:
After talking with Ami, Rei and Minako and looking over the information, Bow had made a decision on what could be done about the Eclipse Zone generators. With some promising results in hand, he had sent a text to Ami and Usagi about joining him for a quick meeting at the shed.

Which is where he is at the moment, still in his school uniform - but even that is set up to expose a small amount of his abs as he's working on setting up the tech pad to share the information, humming an aimless little Etherian tune as he works.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami Mizuno was happy enough to head to the Shed though getting it set up with the new key was. Interesting. "That is such a *unique* statue," she has to remark even now while stepping into the shed, her gaze lingering on it as she looks over her shoulder. "... I feel like it's lonely sitting out there by itself. Maybe I'll bring one of the garden gnomes from the garden at home." At least that was a bit more cheerful looking, too.

The thought is shaken off in favor of turning her attention to Bow instead. Her steps lead her over toward one of the desks to drop off her bag rather than continuing to carry it with her. "Hello again Bow. You have... Uh." Another glance is stolen at his abs with a mildly embarassed look. It was one of those things, it was there, she couldn't NOT look! "You have an idea? Or is this the one we discussed the other day?"

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"It's definitely ugly," Usagi says dubiously, "But at least no one should want to steal it, right? Since it's ugly and heavy."

She's wearing a variant of one of her favorite outfits, a dark blue miniskirt with a butter yellow turtle neck instead of her school uniform - hey! A girl had to be out of the uniform sometimes, right?

She smiles brightly at Bow, waving when they enter. "Hi Bow! So you had some kind of idea? Is it about the data you and Ami-chan have been reviewing?"

She considers jabbing Ami in the side over that blush, but honestly, this is better than the alternative, isn't it?

Bow has posed:
If there's anything, it seems that Bow is nonplussed about having his abs looked at. Neither pride nor embarassment. He's just so used to having them exposed, it's a natural thing for him as he glances up, red-framed glasses perched on his nose. "Oh no, it's the idea you had when we were talking the other day!"

He's more than willing to the credit to Ami for the idea, Bow's more... "I was just crunching the numbers and looking over the scans I got, compared to yours. And I think we can pull it off!" he offers optimisticslly. "Which is why I want to present it to Usagi, so that she knows what we're planning and whst she can and can't do about it." he explains.

Waiting for the two to settle in - it's clear that Bow is completely oblivious to Ami's blushing, instead focusing on the project at hand. Typical boy, really. "So yeah. As you know, we got schematics and now, thanks to Ami, who was completely awesome, we have the key!" He brings up the design, and an animation of the tower. "So right now, it's gathering dark energy and launching it off to who knows where, but we assume that it's devoured, right? I mean, that's what I told. Is that how it works?" he asks the pair. "Anyway! I did that with this in mind." The dark energy is made at the tower and sent off.

It shows up at Obsidian and goes into an oven. It comes out, and a figure that looks supsiciously like Sunbreaker is holding the cake in celebration, before devouring it and getting a fat little belly and happy yum face.

"So... what Ami came up with is that once we capture the transmitter, that we reconfigure it and instead..." He continues the animation, and there's a Sailor Moon figurine. "Ami's idea is that Sailor Moon sends, instead of a dark energy, we send one massive Moon Healing Escalation and transmit it." Sailor Moon sends the light energy. It arrives. Nice giant white cake out of the oven, and explodes on Sunbreaker, with ??s all over her. And a note (Maybe turns her good? Reverse Adora?). "Oh, sorry, forgot to take that out!"

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami Mizuno settles in to sit at her desk lifting her gaze to regard the presentation that Bow has apparently made. A little grin comes over her when he assures her it is about the idea she'd come up with the other day. "I'd say it was a collaborative effort," she interjects only to chuckle a bit when he starts to show the various animations. The cake blowing up was nice.

"Right. It's standard encryption that I can crack, and once I have, I believe I can reprogram it to accept purifying energy instead of dark energy. The idea is that we..." She gestures at Bow's images. "We see how they enjoy that instead."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"I knew you two would think of something," Usagi says proudly, flopping into a seat to watch Bow's presentations. She has to admit, his whole set up is very nice - she bets he'd be an awesome project partner.

The animation is a quick and easy way to understand what he's getting at, and she only interrupts once, to frown as she says, "You know, I never really thought about what they do with the energy... eating it makes as much sense as anything, I guess?"

The Dark Kingdom was always going on about energy for their great ruler - the idea of them baking energy cakes for Beryl and Metallia is - honestly kind of funny?

But the idea that they present is a lot less funny. In fact, it's pretty genius, Usagi sits up straight, staring at them. "You mean, basically, we give them a taste of their own medicine? But it's my medicine?"

That sounded better in her head, but - "I... that could work. Moon Healing Escalation is all purification... it could work... I mean, we'd probably want to warn some people, like ugh, Mamochan will want to warn dumb Riventon, and Sunbreaker could get hurt, but -"

But the rest of them? It would be Mamoru's prank with the Silver Crystal candies, but worse.

Bow has posed:
"That's exactly the idea." Bow grins at Ami. "Yes, but apparently A is before B, so your name is first in the report. A playful wink at the bluenette, before he continues. "Also, I had a question. Is yours the only type of purification like that?" Bow asks. And there's a reason he's asking, which he gets into.

"In my preliminary scan? The numbers are off. This thing can make a loooot more energy than it is at the moment. Which may be why when people go in there, they aren't immediately passing out." he explains. "...so I don't know if they have it turned down as a test? Or trying to mask what they're doing. But, if my calculations are right..."

He brings up some figures that maybe him and Ami can understand. "...we could almost double the amount of energy it's manufacturing at the moment.

"But I wouldn't want you burning yourself out on a single swipe, Usagi, which is why I asked." And he kinda presses his fingers together in thought at that.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami Mizuno accepts the alphabetical response with an easy grin. At least he wasn't claiming credit, nor was he trying to shove it all on her. She'd been through both situations in the past in classes which somehow always brought trouble, either way. This was a nice change of pace.

"It could be a test, or they could be trying to quietly siphon as much as they can before going for one last large grab. Trying to see how long they can go before we become a problem for them," is her suggestion. They were rather prone to destroying Obsidian's projects after all.

"There are others who can purify as well. I believe Wako can as well?" A look toward Usagi for confirmation. "She helped at the shrine as I recall."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"Doing it slow makes sense. Sunbreaker might think that if it's a low amount, we won't try as hard to stop her, and I mean, I guess she's not entirely wrong? We haven't all gone full force to try and tear it down."

Even if they are doing plenty of sneaky research instead, to to try and trick them.

"And yeah, Wako-chan - she's Ginga Otome - and Cure Wukong both have purifying powers too. And I can make my purification stronger, but when I do, I'm drawing on my Silver Crystal... and I don't know if using that on something we're sending straight to Obsidian would be a good idea. But a team up? That could be... that could be good for us."

Bow has posed:
There's a little grin from Bow. "If it's one thing I've learned from a long long war on Etheria? It's how to rely on allies when you get them. And turning this from a Sailor Senshi thing into a 'Team Purifying' thing? It would be totally awesome."

He turns back to the schematic. "After we send off the transmission? Probably will be for the best that we destroy the tower, just to make sure that we don't get any feedback of our own." he reaches up to rub at the back of his head - and that stretch exposes more ab. A quick little smile. "So. Ah. Pretty straightforward. Any questions?" he asks, just in case there was something he was missing, before adding. "Adora's recovering. She's taking it all pretty hard, but I'm just going to keep being positive with her to hope she... well... recovers."

Ami Mizuno has posed:
"It would be far easier if we need to split up at the various towers as we did with the shrines. Multiple people who can purify would help. Rather than, as they say, 'putting all our eggs in one basket.'"

"Even if you are a very pretty basket, Usagi-chan," Ami adds with a little tease as she turns her attention to her laptop to make a few quick clicky-clacky notes. "We should probably look at doing this before or after the Princess Prom too. So many of us are going to be busy then."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"I think... after? That way, we have plenty of time to prepare, plus, that means we try after finals too!" Not that Usagi is particularly excited about finals, but if she flunks for hero reasons, her mama and papa will not be understanding.

"I think Team Purification definitely works... and there might be more purifiers out there, and I just don't know about them; it's not like well all come with instruction guides, you know? The more time we have, the more foolproof we can make this whole thing."

A pause, and then, gently, looking at Bow, "I'm sure she'll recover, Bow-kun. But this whole thing was probably... really scary for her. It might take a little while, but she'll be back on her feet!"

Bow has posed:
"After, definetly." Not that Bow doesn't already have twenty chainsaws he's juggling and could probably handle a couple of more, but if he can push the purification til after the Prom, that fits in better with his schedule.

"It'll give us time to find more purifiers as well." Though when Usagi brings up what Adora is going through, there's a small pause. "I know. I can imagine." Because he's going through similar. A quick, deep breath, and it's just shoved aside for later. "I know she will. She's always had a really strong resolve and she's already talking about how she's adjusting to this world. And puzzling out where we sll... seem to be coming from in different places in our timeline... but, different issue, different problem. Focusing on this one at the moment!"

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami Mizuno looks up from her laptop again as the talk shifts to Adora's recovery. "... Everyone deals with trauma differently. I'm seeing that even with the Shittenou that I'm helping to tutor. Some want to forget, some feel guilt. I don't know how she's recovering but she is going to recover. That she has friends around will help," she assures Bow with a soft smile.

"After prom is fine. That gives us time to try and get everything set up. I assume we want to destroy the towers after we send the energy back at them?"

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"She told me about it all once. It sounded a like, and that was before you and your friend Glimmer and Catra were all part of it too," Usagi sounds symapthetic - for Adora, yes, but also for Bow. "You're really in the middle of a lot, Bow-kun."

And at Ami's question, she nods, "We definitely will have to try, but that's going to be... really hard, I think. Those towers are inside the Zone,and if it's still debuffing us..."

Bow has posed:
"Oh reminded." Bow is prompted by Usagi. "It's not Glimmer. It's Double Trouble." he explains. "Apparently they were masquerading as Glimmer to try to hurt Adora, from what I could figure out." Another one of those chainsaws he's juggling about. "They can masquerade as anyone, but they cannot copy powers. So... just be careful if someone seems off."

"And yeah. We can probably shut them down, but without actually having a whole lot of explosives, we can probably at least hope that at the best, they realize that we can feed them purification - and stop using them for now. Which will give us time to take care of them in the future."

Another smile. They got this. And he knows it. Just another thing of the things that are going on. But everyone has a lot on their plate, this is just his share! "Alright. Well, that's all I got."

Ami Mizuno has posed:
"Explosives are easy to make. It's just making sure that we don't trigger any watch lists by getting the proper items together that's the big issue," Ami remarks only to pause, and glance up from her laptop. Her gaze sweeps between Bow and Usagi with another bit of a blush. "... Theoretically. I have never built a bomb before." Does she know HOW? Yes probably, it's all chemistry.

Sitting up a bit straighter her focus returns to the laptop. Just to close it with a single press of her hand as she clears her throat lightly. "Speaking of prom we should probably look at getting ready for that, too. Right? I know Usagi-chan wanted to be on the decorating committee." There's a pause before she adds, "I should probably find some shoes to match my dress, too. Are tiaras required?"

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"Dee? The shapeshifting lizard person?! They're from your world?" Usagi is baffled. This is not the revelation she was expecting from the world, though, in hindsight, given that Catra is a nekomimi, maybe she shouldn't be that surprised?

"...Ami-chan, you don't scare me, but sometimes I wonder if you should." Making explosives!

"Oh, yeah, I'm on the decorating committee now! I have some cool ideas, and it's going to be a great way to end and start the school year!" She is very excited about that. "And... I hope not? I think we should go lowkey on the requirements!"

Bow has posed:
"Dee?" Bow blinks several times. "Never heard them called that, but yes, 'shapeshifting lizard person' fits the description perfectly." he admits with a chuckle and shake of his head. Whoever told Bow that Usagi knows everyone was absolutely spot on.

"Oh, I can make... well..." He closes his eyes for a moment. "Explosive Arrow." And an arrow pops into his hand with a shaped charge on it, which he sets on the table. "Don't worry, it only arms if I fire it off!" he quickly adds.

"It's part of my arsenal." he explains, before the discussion is on prom. "I'm looking forward to your ideas, Usagi! And... I think tiaras are probably going to be optional." he admits with a laugh. "I have the musical talent done. Need to do refreshments and decorating... and then, figure out where to have it. Some have suggested the school gym. Others have suggested the ballroom at a hotel. And at least one suggestion of an outdoor prom beneath the stars."

Ami Mizuno has posed:
"I'm perfectly innocent. Just very well educated," Ami responds gently teasing back to Usagi with a smile. Even she could crack a joke now and again. The talk of Dee though? She wasn't familiar.

"Perhaps we should set a codeword so we can tell it's actually 'us' if there's a shape shifter around?" Her eyebrows furrow together considering this. "I'll have to think on that one."

And prom of course. "Outside would be a bit difficult for a prom this time of year. We'd likely need heaters since it's still chilly at night, and the weather could ruin the whole event. It's likely best to consider the school gym," she agrees with a nod. "Though if any of your committee members have other ideas that may work as well. I just want to make sure on the tiara part." Another thoughtful look. "I guess I'll go with one. I want to match my date."

With that she pushes to her feet to scoop up her items. "Thank you for the update on everything. I should get to my next tutoring session while I can. Keep me updated!"

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"Me and Naru-chan used one for a little while," Usagi admits, "A passcode, I mean. I think that's a good idea, but figuring out how to tell enough people that without them figuring it out might be another tricky project for you two."

Yes, she will happily throw all the thinky-thing projects on Bow and Ami!

Stretching, she yawns, a wide jaw-cracking yawn, and stands.

"I can't wait to share them - but for now, my vote is for the gym; all the students can get here, and we can decorate early, because it's at school, instead of carrying a bunch of stuff to a fancy hotel. Plus, if we get a late season snow, or a bad rain, everything could get washed out!"

And then. And then.

"Wait, date? Ami-chan! Ami-chan, did Tadase-kun finally ask you ou-" the sound of chasing and questions and asking will ring all through the Wooded Path.

Bow has posed:
Dismissing the arrow after the two take off, Bow watches after the pair of them, and feels like he's forgotten something.

Something very, very important.

And it's right there. So close.

He hasn't asked Sayaka to Prom yet.
