Since the incident involving her kidnapping and near-death... Aloisia Stauss has been largely keeping to herself when not attending classes...and even those she's forgetting sometimes.
Most of her time has been spent in her dorm room, using the limited resources that she has day and night, slowly and painstakingly piecing the core of her destroyed Device back together. Every shard. Every sliver. Every flake that she could recover being slowly put into place, floating in a small barrier that keeps the pieces floating in place as she works on it. Once she's ENTIRELY sure it's the right spot, it's then effectively magically glued into place.
Even though it's been several weeks since the destruction, her progress has been frustratingly slow, consuming every free moment that she has. Something that has likely been irritating her allies in Obsidian, especially a certain Steiner.
As she works, there is a nagging feeling in the back of her mind, though... that perhaps, she's forgetting something.
Meanwhile, in the Hazardous Hotel, for the first time since the building has opened...
A civilian faints due to excessive energy drain.
