Catacombs Debrief
Date of Scene: 24 July 2024
Location: Plot Room 1
Synopsis: In the aftermath of the Paris battle against Beryl, Glimmer, Sayaka and Bow have a talk.
Cast of Characters: Bow, Sayaka Miki, Glimmer Brightmoon

Bow has posed:
After securing tickets to the Museum de Philhamonie, Bow was bubbling with excitement. He couldn't wait to surprise Sayaka with this meticulously planned outing. With a mischievous glint in his eye, he decided to whisk her away without a hint of what was in store. Taking her hand firmly in his, they weaved through the corridors of the hotel that the Mahou had chosen as their base.

"Come with me," he urged with a playful yet determined tone, his hand a comforting anchor in hers. "No questions, just trust me. You're going to love it," he assured her with an infectious grin, eager to see her reaction to his grand surprise.

Outside, he had arranged for a picturesque horse-drawn carriage to await them, a touch of old-world charm and much like Etheria befitting the romantic adventure he had planned. Once they were settled into the carriage, enveloped in the soft evening air, Bow couldn't contain his excitement any longer. Pulling out the tickets with a flourish with a single red rose, he revealed his master plan.

"We're starting with a tour of the museum," he explained enthusiastically, his eyes lighting up with anticipation. "Then, we have tickets to a concert. And to cap it all off, a night under the stars at the Eiffel Tower," he concluded, hoping the magic of Paris would work its charm on both of them.

As they prepared to ride through the enchanting city streets, he stole glances at Sayaka, hoping to see her delighted by the surprise he had meticulously orchestrated. "Nothing can possibly go wrong, right?" he chuckled softly, feeling confident that this night would be one they both remembered forever.

Sayaka Miki has posed:
The bluenette wasn't quite feeling stellar as things started to settle into an uneasy normality after the confirmation of Beryl's death and the return of everyone who had seemingly passed away to life. At the very least, she now had collected herself enough to put up a normal front for their everyday life.

"Yes, ok", she reserves Bow a smile, letting herself be led along by Bow's hand as he reveals himself to be quite determined to let her enjoy this surprise of his. "Horses are nice", she comments when the first step of Bow's plan is carried out, climbing into the elevated carriage. "I have never really ridden one, but they look friendly, right?", she smiles awkwardly.

"That's really nice, Bow", the bluenette comments as her Etherian boyfriend reveals the main serving of his gran plan. "I hope the music is good. I don't think it is going to go wrong", she nods, squeezing his hand.

Glimmer Brightmoon has posed:
There was that... feeling. That sensation. Everything. Was about. To. Go. Wrong.

And a moment later it'd be clear why. as an all-too-familiar thuggy girl (toothpick and all) suddenly come running and almost SLAMMED into Bow. Oh, no, wait, totally slammed into him. Like, full body almost took him off his feet. Good thing he had years of experience of being slammed into like so.

"BOW! What happened?! I thought you were dead?! I thought I'd never see you again! I-I was told that bitch had-- how are you okay?! I thought..."

Well, after the final fight... she'd left. Real quick. To grieve.

And now she was FINALLY going out, finally donning her henshin and...

To see Bow with Sayaka, well... it was... it was nice. It was very, very nice.

She then blinked and glanced up. "Hey Sharpra." No. She was NOT letting go. Bow was lucky he wasn't getting kissed at this point.

Though, slowly, her eyes sunk lower and... Nope. Those were DEFINITELY Bow's abs. It HAD to be him.

Bow has posed:
"It's going to be an enchanting night. The concert is called 'En Amour'; that's French for love, right?" Bow's voice carried a mix of excitement and curiosity as he helped Sayaka onto the carriage, his gaze fixed on her with a sparkle that betrayed his efforts to rekindle their romance.

"Never been on a carriage ride? This beats those wagons back home in Etheria by miles!" He chuckled warmly, his memories of home mingling with the thrill of the moment. "Once there was even a rumor I had a winged pegasus named Arrow, courtesy of Adora," he added with a hint of a smirk. "And these guys," he nodded towards the carriage driver and his companion, "seem quite friendly too." The carriage driver assumed Bow was really heavy into LARPing - and Sayaka, not so much. Poor girl.

Bow, fully healed and dressed to impress in a sharp suit that accentuated his toned physique and abs, flashed a confident grin. "Nothing is going to go wrong..." he murmured optimistically, savoring the promise of the evening ahead.

But just as he prepared to join Sayaka on the carriage, his world turned upside down. A forceful impact knocked him off balance as a familiar figure embraced him tightly. "Gl-Glimmer!" he managed to gasp out, caught off guard by the unexpected hug. He tensed, suddenly aware of the mixed emotions swirling within him - gratitude for her presence, frustration from past conflicts, and a renewed sense of loss.

"I'm okay, really," he reassured Glimmer, attempting to disentangle himself gently. "Sayaka and I were just about to..." His words trailed off as he realized the awkwardness of the situation, the cramped carriage suddenly feeling too small for the emotional baggage now on board.

Trying to salvage the moment, Bow took a deep breath, forcing himself to let go of the past grievances. "We can talk later. Glimmer." But he's never going to tell her no. And there is enough room for her at least ride to the museum.

Sayaka Miki has posed:
"Maybe?", Sayaka replies unsure at his language question. She'd never really learnt french, only english, and Witch language is actually her third addition to what she can speak, and that is certainly not going to earn her any academic score.

"I have always been in the city", Sayaka admits, taking her place on a seat. "But, hey, that's more for me to look forward to, no?", she points out, waiting for Bow to come in. Which never actually happens, as he is tackled and almost falls. The bluenette promptly jumps out, looking right away at what caused the problem.

"Oh, hey, Gloria", Sayaka waves when Glimmer comes up to them, only ever having known her by that name in the pinkette's non-magical disguise. "I didn't know you were in Paris too", a question striking her as soon as she says that. "You didn't teleport here all the way from Tokyo, right?"

An alarmed look appears in the bluenette's eyes when Glimmer/Soraia brings up Bow's death, falling to silence as she uncomfortably rubs her arm.

Glimmer Brightmoon has posed:
Soraia blinked a few times, cocking her head to the side. "Huh?" she asked. Looking between Bow... and then Sayaka. What was with that...

Then back to Bow. "Oh. Ummmm... Oh, wow, a carriage? I haven't been in one of these in ages." She, grudgingly, let Bow go and climbed in, plopping down without any care and making it bounce a bit. "And nahhhh. I mean... kiiiind of. But I didn't really do it, I had help. Getting back is going to be a pain, but... I've got a system," she said with a wink.

She, admittedly, wasn't looking forward to having that talk with Riventon... but hey. Getting home was HIS problem, not hers. Worse came to worse, she'd bum a ride with Phantom. "So... what are you two up to, anyway?"

Bow has posed:
BOP

Bow's fist made a gentle, playful contact with the top of Glimmer's head, a lighthearted gesture meant to convey both affection and a hint of admonishment.

"Ix-nay on the death-ay," he whispered sharply to his Queen, his expression serious. The memories of his own mortality were not something he wanted to revisit tonight, especially not in front of Sayaka.

"Your Royal Guard is going on a date tonight," Bow continued, his tone softening slightly as he addressed Glimmer. "And yes, the last time we took a carriage ride, it was quite..." He trailed off as Glimmer seamlessly inserted herself into their plans.

Glancing at Sayaka with a slight furrow of concern, Bow shifted to sit across from Glimmer, leaving the decision of seating arrangement to his girlfriend. He watched Sayaka closely, hoping she didn't feel uncomfortable with the unexpected addition to their evening.

"I think most of us are flying back. No teleportation this time," he added with a thoughtful nod, already mentally adjusting their return plans to accommodate Glimmer's presence.

Sayaka Miki has posed:
Sayaka looks uncertainly when Bow enacts that light admonishment on Glimmer. Was something up between them? Besides the usual issue with Glimmer cooperating with Obsidian.

"What we are up to? Just having a date in Paris and making the best of being here", Sayaka replies, the breathing she didn't even realised had gotten tense starting to relax again. "We were about to head to a museum right now."

She focuses on Bow when he starts implying an uncomfortable experience with a carriage ride, only for him to trail off with no hint at what he was about to say. Especially when he is already keeping something on the downlow with that whisper to Glimmer she doesn't catch the words of.

Climbing back up into the carriage, she sits down next to Bow, waiting for the motion of the carriage to start as she looks at Glimmer. "Are you alright? How have you been enjoying Paris?"

Glimmer Brightmoon has posed:
Glimmer stared for a few moments, her mouth falling open. "O-oh... ohhhhh. You two... have a date. Right. Eh... heh. Yes. I guess... wow. Uhhh... Oopsie," she said, leaning forward with a big, dorky grin on her face. "Oh, you know me. I've been finding ways to keep myself busy. Eh heh." Definitely NOT crying.

"I'll probably fly back too... unless Obsidian has a whole... eh heh... errr. Paris! Paris is nice. They have a TOWER! Did you know? A whole tower! And it's so BIG! Like.... tall! And shiny! With lights!" Glimmer said, voice filled with awe. "I figure I can go ahead and get out of your... hair... when we get to the museum..."

"If you want..." she said, poking her fingers together... She forced down that fear that Bow was replacing her and that she was losing her best friend.... with great difficulty.

Bow has posed:
When Sayaka settles beside him, Bow gently takes her hand, intertwining their fingers with a firm but tender grasp. "How about a museum tour followed by a concert?" he proposes to Glimmer with a confident smile. "I know Sayaka has a special fondness for both. Then we can take a leisurely stroll under the city lights," he adds, stealing a quick glance at Sayaka, his eyes sparkle in hope before returning his gaze to Glimmer.

Rather than dismissing her, he extends an unexpected invitation. "You're welcome to join us, at least for the carriage ride. I only secured two tickets," he admits with a charming grin, genuinely curious about Glimmer's impression of Paris. "How are you finding the city?"

His attention shifts back to Sayaka, his voice tinged with fond reminiscence. "The last time we rode in a carriage together, Horde Troopers attempted to ambush us," he recounts with a hint of amusement.

Sayaka Miki has posed:
"Hmm, I see, as you as you are fine", Sayaka nods, not really sure how to confront her on the fact she is one of Bow's two best friends. Instead, she takes advantage of Bow's speaking up and switches the subject to their upcoming date.

"I do really really love classical music", she tells Glimmer. "I have done so since I was six. I have gone to concerts at any possible occasion, and growing up, I have absorbed anything I could possibly learn on the subject." Her eyes do gain a bit more expression as she immerses herself in her passion.

Sayaka gets startled when Bow admits to only having two tickets, shifting uncomfortably on her seat. Of course, she shouls have predicted that, since Glimmer only joined in after, but that's a problem to be solved now that Bow has made it clear he intends to invite her too. Snatching her wallet, she does a quick count, doing a quick conversion with her phone of how much it should cost, then looks back to Glimmer. "I can pay for the ticket", she announces with a smile.

"I imagine you must have made them regret the ambush", Sayaka tells Bow as she noticed his fondness and amusement.

Glimmer Brightmoon has posed:
Glimmer Brightmoon gave a small chuckle. "Really? Ohhhh. So you're a huge music fan? You know, Bow plays the violin. He was picking it up a while back, at least. Not sure if he still does it since coming here, do you?" she asked, smiling up at Bow.

"I haven't heard a lot of... okay, admittedly I don't know what counts as classical here," she grudgingly admitted. And well, as Sayaka offered to pay for her ticket... "Oh, there's no need for THAT," Glimmer said, before pulling out... a slightly damaged phone... and a black card. "I have... *this*. Sailor Moon says that I am to expense everything to Obsidian when I can, and this is exactly the kind of thing that should be expensed to them." By exactly the kind of thing, she means things that make her happy.

"And ohhh yeah. It turns out, ambushing someone who can teleport and the best archer in Etheria? Nooooot the best move. We went on quite a few adventures back home, you know," Glimmer said, leaning back and putting her hands behind her head. "Bow could snipe the nose off... something... really small from far away when you give him just a little bit of lead up. Just, bam. One moment, it has a nose. The next? No nose. Because that's what he does best," Glimmer said proudly, giving a small, happy smirk.

"Now that you've got magic, I bet you're even *more* amazing, Bow! Has he told you about like, the time he rescued me and Adora from the robot horde of Entraptas? Or that time we almost captured Catra? Or the time we led an assault on the Horde Outpost of Extrasliceacake ville?"

Bow has posed:
Bow gently squeezes Sayaka's hand one last time, a tender gesture that speaks volumes about their connection. "Thank you for the offer, Sayaka," he acknowledges warmly. "We've collaborated musically a few times. Maybe one day we can perform together for an audience," he suggests with a playful wink directed at her.

However, the mood shifts when Sayaka brings up covering Glimmer's expenses. "We still have things to discuss," he admits, his tone serious as he addresses Glimmer directly. "I'm still processing my feelings about your decisions," he confesses, his disappointment evident. "But Sayaka is right. We can set aside what happened in the Catacombs for now."

"Sailor Moon's wisdom rings true," Bow concedes as Glimmer offers to pay her own way. As Glimmer starts praising him, Bow squirms inwardly. This wasn't about his accolades. "Extrasliceacakeville?" he echoes, clearly puzzled. "I'm not sure when that was..."

Glimmer's mention of magic brings a thoughtful response from Bow. "I'm still navigating the world of magic myself," he admits, his voice tinged with curiosity and uncertainty.

"And did you know Sayaka has saved me multiple times?" Bow interjects, a note of admiration in his voice. "She even helped me rescue Adora from herself once. Plus, she's an expert surfer who could teach anyone!"

Sayaka Miki has posed:
"We have played together sometimes", Sayaka smiles at Glimmer. "Me with the piano. We have done it in several places too." At Glimmer's admission over her lack of classical awareness, Sayaka immediately takes out and connects a pair of Bluetooth headphones to her phone before passing them to Glimmer. "I have a few on my phones. Want to listen?"

A slight, if understanding, frown is given to Bow when he turns all serious. She hopes they can work past their current issues one day. "I mean, you are a guest here, Glimmer-san, even if Sailor Moon does have her reasons", Sayaka turns back to address Glimmer. Taking advantage of Obsidian's money is admittedly a tempting offer, but she is not going to leave Glimmer aside like that. She is going to do things right, may lightning fall on her head if she doesn't. "Come on, accept it, it's not a problem."

"You must have had a lot of amazing adventures, and even if I don't know what he was like, he is certainly incredible now. He once burned an entire Witch's lair with a single arrow", Sayaka praises him to Glimmer. It was true, even if she wasn't specifying exactly what had happened to make a single arrow enough. "I am ready to listen to your stories", she adds when Glimmer lays out a few examples of their adventures.

"I didn't really do much", Sayaka replies bashfully when Bow brings up Adora's incident with Hinoiri's cookies. "I fought it with everyone until the dark energy got out of her system. I didn't even heal her afterwards. My powers only heal myself, which is actually really odd when my wish was about healing someone else."

Glimmer Brightmoon has posed:
Glimmer Brightmoon gave a soft sigh and nodded. "Yeah... yeah. We do have some, ummm, things to discuss. Not right now, though. I just..."

... What was she supposed to say? Maybe... she should tell him. But... not here. Not while they were trying to relax.

"Come onnnnnn, don't be like that. Being able to charge Obsidian for random stuff is like, half the fun of having to work with them. That and the weird monsters you see," she teased Sayaka.... But... she'd cave if the other girl wouldn't.

"And... really? You even helped save Adora? Huh. I guess that makes you like... princess of swords then, huh? Maybe I should keep calling you Sharpra," Glimmer said with a wink.

"It's good to know you two keep an eye out for each other. I'm... I'm sure eventually I'll be able to help do that too. And really? You can't remember Extrasliceofcakes ville? They had my aunt's favorite chocolate blueberry cakes? You ended up launching bags of flour over the wall and then had me teleport in with a bit of fire, we blew up the wall from inside? Sure, it wasn't our most dramatic fight, but it was fun."

She'd take the ear buds, putting it in one ear, lightly listening to it. "Huh... neat," she mumbled.

Bow has posed:
As Sayaka offers Glimmer a listen, Bow's smile broadens. It's heartwarming to see Sayaka making an effort to befriend Glimmer, especially since he's been friends with Glimmer for as long as he can remember. This gesture of friendship from Sayaka means more than she might realize. Bow exhales slowly, trying to steady himself and calm his nerves.

"We have. All three of us," Bow says, his voice steady but soft. "Maybe not together... but... you're both very important to me." He admits this quietly, running his fingers through his hair, a gesture of contemplation. "It's the adventures we've had that build our friendship. And it's the adventures we will have in the future that will make our bond even stronger."

Turning to Glimmer, Bow's eyes soften with concern. "I hope someday, Glim, that you will really open up to me, because I can tell you're hiding something." He speaks gently to the Fuchsia Queen, his loyalty evident. "I'm still your loyal guard and friend, you know. And so is Bluebird here." He gestures to Sayaka, emphasizing their united front. "Whatever it is, we can handle it together."

He chuckles, lightening the mood with a nostalgic grin. "I feel like I should remember that story. It sounds like tasty fun was rising!" His laughter fades into a gentle smile as he watches Glimmer, his admiration for the two girls who mean so much to him clear in his gaze.

Sayaka Miki has posed:
"There is really nothing fun about the monsters they unleash", Sayaka sighs at Glimmer's odd fascination. Is this really the same girl that fought in the Rebellion? "People get hurt there, Glimmer-san. It's up to us to keep them safe. That's the whole point of why we have powers. Anyway, yes, I do mean it when I am offering you ticket. Leave it to me, ok?", she smiles tentatively towards the pinkette.

"I mean, like I s-said, it was really nothing that special", Sayaka stammers lightly, embarassed. "But if you want to call me that, I don't mind."

"I don't know everything that has happened with you when it comes to the Rebellion, even if Bow told me a good part of it, but helping is the right thing, Glimmer-san, and that includes you too. Bow is right, when you feel you are ready to talk about what troubles you, don't hesitate to send you a message about it", Sayaka says, staring at Glimmer with uneasy focus.

"That does sound amazing", Sayaka smirks, reaching over to lightly squeeze Bow's hand. "It was clear to me from the very start that you are really close to each other, it was really inspiring to me" 'and it worries me when you act distant', is what goes unsaid. "Why don't we add eating a chocolate blueberry cake to our outing? I am sure it won't be hard to find", the bluenette smiles.

Glimmer Brightmoon has posed:
Glimmer Brightmoon took a slow, deep breath. Sliding the ear bud out of her ear, she looked between them. "Bow... trust me. Please. I... want to tell you. I really, really want to be open with you. And... I mean, yeah. The youma things are kind of weird but some of them are fun. Like, the weird dog man is silly. And hey, there's this weird spider youma that's hilarious. If you toss popcorn she'll follow it. They're not attacking anyone or anything. The ones that are... not so fun at all."

"And yeah. All of our adventures made us incredibly close. We learned... a lot. Even though..." She sighed and leaned back. "Even though there's this whole... memory thing going on. Ughhhhh. I still really dislike that. Like, there is sooooo much stuff that happened later you can't even remember," Glimmer muttered. "But... it'll be fine. Horde Prime is dead. I'm sure like... we can fix everything eventually, and sort it all out and get everyone's memories back and whatnot. But, ummmm..." She poked her fingers together.

"Cake... cake really sounds good, actually. And uhhhh... yeah. That really is the whole point of having magic. Keeping people safe. So, ummmm... thanks for understanding that I need to do this for a little bit. I'll be back by your side, kicking the butt of bad guys before you know it. Until then, just... well... make sure you stay safe. Okay? When everything is done on my end, chances are they're gonna be piiiiiiiiiiissed at me and you know how badly I need you when things get rough."

Bow has posed:
"I don't like this," Bow responds, his voice tinged with concern. "But I won't push you on it, Glimmer." He squeezes Sayaka's hand for reassurance before moving from his seat to give Glimmer an affectionate hug. Holding her tightly for a moment, he hopes to convey his support and care. As he lets her go, he catches Sayaka mentioning cake, and his eyes light up. "That sounds wonderful," he admits, returning to sit beside her, his agreement wholehearted.

"There's a lot I don't remember?" he asks, a note of uncertainty in his voice. "If it's important, you would tell me, right? Like... I don't die in a Horde attack or something, right?" He pauses, realizing the paradox. "Wait, that's something you shouldn't tell me, because it would happen in a different way. Are we like Catra and Adora, except we became enemies instead? That would suck!" His voice carries a mix of worry and jest, trying to lighten the tension.

When Glimmer mentions that she'll eventually change sides, Bow's expression softens. "I'll be waiting for you with open arms," he promises, his tone earnest and filled with hope.

Sayaka Miki has posed:
"Things like the ice machine youma or the Game Meister are hardly harmless. But if they don't tear a hair off people, there is nothing wrong with letting them be. Cases like La Crima are sadly more complex", Sayaka frown. That is one she really doesn't know what solution will come out of it.

She stops to think when Glimmer says Horde Prime is dead. That really doesn't sound right. "Are you sure you remember well? When Bow first came here, he was chased by Horde soldiers, so Horde Prime has to be alive, doesn't he? Are you sure you remember everything correctly?"

Sayaka witnesses Glimmer's promise to be back by Bow's side, glad that there isn't an irreparable gulf between them. Once they are done with the concert, they really need to commemorate with the cake.

A shadow of worry passes over Sayaka's eyes next, the thought of something else popping out of nowhere to kill him again with bubbling anxiety. "No. There can't be anything like that. Your future has changed when you came here."

Glimmer Brightmoon has posed:
Glimmer Brightmoon shook her head rapidly. "NO! Bow, you did *not* die. You were there with us when we went to disarm all of Horde Prime's terrible weapons and stuff! You, me, Adora and Catra. You did NOT die," she said firmly. "You were right there with me in the final fight. I had to fight my father while you, well... helped finish what Entrapta started. And we were NOT enemies. You caught me when Catra teleported me out of Horde Prime's ship to where you were!"

Glimmer was... incredibly... incredibly... determined when she said all of that. She... would not lose him. Not again.

"I wouldn't worry about those bots. It was Light Hope. Trickery and deceit is what she did. She probably made those robots herself. She made a ton of weird robot spider things. When I had to... talk... with her... she made me blow up like a hundred of them before she'd even talk to me."

"There's no way Horde Prime could still be alive. She-ra wiped him out. And, oddly, saved Hordak when she did it. That. That was... still weird."
