She's taken a moment out of her day to do some much needed maintenance. |

Two days... or was it three? She couldn't remember.
Zephyr sighed softly, wiping her brow despite the chill in the air. She's doing something every Mage has to do now and again, but even so, she was never the best at it.
In a glowing field in the middle of her apartment hung the glittering core frame of her Device, its sleek parts hanging around it as the Mage checked each one, running diagnostics with the sapience within the mechanism, then clicking the tiny pieces back into place. Her Barrier Jacket glitched for a moment as she checked the defensive system matrix, then restabilized. "How's it looking so far Dee?" she asked.
A soft chime announced the reply, <<All systems green so far Chief. I think I've tracked down the problem in the Buster system... flagging the parts now.>> a small subset of parts turned a soft orange in the projected field. <<These interlocks are wearing out. Standard wear and tear... we will need to source some replacements soon, or they may fail and take some other systems with them.>> came the grave voice of the Device.
"Think we could swap in some parts from those Belkan Storage Devices?" asked Zephyr thoughtfully.
<<Unknown... shall I contact Rashmi?>>
"Once we get you put back together, sure... keep me posted on those parts condition, and put a hard-limiter on the Buster System entirely until we can get replacements."
<<Understood Chief.>>
The Mage continued her task, clicking parts back into the medal-like frame around the glittering gemstone core, a grim expression on her face.
