Let's Start A Riot
Date of Scene: 15 May 2024
Location: Plot Room 1
Synopsis: Wherein a pop concert is disrupted by a wild bird youma!
Cast of Characters: Melona Mizu, Sugata Shindo, Takuto Tsunashi, Coco Kiumi, Hotaru Tomoe

Melona Mizu has posed:
The Walpurgis Wich concert had been going well, a reasonably good turnout and the energy was good. That good amount of energy was why Misery Melon had quietly snuck into the edges of the building, setting a small egg out before quietly leaving once more.

A few songs in, as the energy nourished the youma egg... eventually, a soft ~crack~ announced its opening. Something that most people didn't notice, though a few particularly closeby looked around curiously. It was almost immediate, warnings of danger from companions and sensing of dark magic by those nearby, as throughout the concert, the energy had begun to shift.

Soft whispers in ears sewing discontent. At first, it was just one or two people. A girlfriend who was already suspicious of their boyfriend suddenly slapping him and yelling at him for holding another girl's hand while he looked at her in confusion. Arguments about the music breaking out among friends. Even the people who came alone ending up bumped, knocked over, or otherwise disturbed, as more fights began to break out. Some tried to run, but found the doors to the arena locked, as what was seemingly moments ago a high energy, happy event... began to turn into something much darker. Even the music of the musicians themselves seeming to become twisted. And above it all, a brown figure flitting here and there, fueling the fire with its poisonous whisperings, soft laughter ringing out in the air, like the sound of a twisted children's laughter with the almost mocking tone of a bird edging into it.

Sugata Shindo has posed:
The concert is... fine. It's not to Sugata's taste, but then, he's here because Takuto won tickets off the back of a scratcher and Wako ate leftovers of dubious age, rendering her bedridden and incapacitated. If only it had been him! If only, for once, he'd been the one to eat his own food.

He could have been at home instead of dealing with... whatever this has become, as the people around them start to go nuts.

"Just think," he says dryly, pausing the video recording he's been making for Wako. (It's good study material, probably!) "If that scratch number had been off by one digit we wouldn't be here."

In the seats behind them, a girl is screaming at her boyfriend for the crime of holding another girl's hand. A group of friends are shouting at each other over which song on the setlist had been best. The performers on the stage are still singing.

Takuto Tsunashi has posed:
"Can we just... can we go? We can just go, right? If it sucks, hit the bricks?" Takuto asks, holding a hand over his ear where the girl sitting next to him has started yelling at her friend about her phone getting dropped in a puddle of soda or something, who even knows. He's leaned in, a little mashed up next to Sugata to get his words audible without yelling a lot.

He flinches as something gets thrown overhead. Half a candy bar. "No we can't just go, there's something flying around. Like, a flying thing. You know what--"

He leans away from Sugata and stands up. Oh, here we go. "Apprivoiser!"

Right there in the middle of the crowd, yes. Henshin, right there. Sparkles, pink and red and gold and white, swirls of color, ribbons of light, fancy military dress appearing from nowhere, a light show in the middle of the audience.

"Coming with me or taking pictures for Wako?" the Ginga Bishounen teases, blue-white light appearing under his feet and flaring up around him into a nimbus of energy as he lifts off the ground and hovers there. "Either there's trouble or we can just go."

Coco Kiumi has posed:
Coco had been walking about aimlessly a few weeks earlier, just enjoying a placid morning walk, the pleasant weather corroborating her good mood. That charming day was marked by another interesting situation: the presence of posters on the wall announcing the concert of a popular Jpop group called the Walpurgis Wich. The curiosity about the group taking the better of her, a few minutes later she was having a good time listening to and singing along their songs.

That was how she had decided to attend the concert. Does it technically count as scouting the competition now that she is close to having a debut of sorts on land? Maybe, but when the time comes, she is looking forward to finding out what songs she will be treated to in a few minutes. On her arms is Cora, the otter being pet as Coco focuses her attention on the stage.

Or at least she would if somebody hadn't started bickering behind up. And then more and more people start bickering, some even running away. A person even tried to take it up with her about bringing Cora along. "She is not bothering you, so leave her alone." That is when she imitates the the fleeing people and runs behind a pillar, ignoring the shouts of protest of the person still complaining.

The shell locket opens as she brings her hands around it in a curved x to channel the melodious magic of the seven seas. "Yellow Pearl Voice!" she declares, the pearl in her shell locket responding to her will and starting to shine with a yellow light.

"Legend of Mermaid: Pichi Pichi Voice, Live Start!". Having run outside, with the familiar cry Coco lowers Cora to the safe white of the Live Stage ground and starts dancing, her purifying voice spreading joy and wonder singing of a nostalgic melody, with stars that like pearls start releasing a wondrous light, a miracle filled adventure like the kind mother wishes for everyone in her heart.

Melona Mizu has posed:
Occasionally in that video recording, that brown figure had shown up towards the end. Something relatively small flitting around. Probably winged? It wasn't long before those fights escalated beyond where they normally would be. The yelling escalating beyond just disagreements. Words that could ruin friendships, slaps turning to punches that could leave bruises. And above it all, as the discontent settles in to ... basically... all of the crowd, was what was... not entirely unlike a bird and a butterfly mixed. Seemingly unassuming, but giving off that dark energy that Youma tended to.

Cawing laughter shifting as, rather suddenly, in the middle of the crowd ... someone just. Suddenly. Gives off magical energy, transforming. Just right there. The bird seems to focus on Takuto for a moment, flitting away from Ginga Bishounen... as whispers begin to attempt to take hold of Ginga Bishounen, tugging on doubts, on jealousies. Possibly making him dwell on bitter thoughts. Bitter thoughts that, while they might normally simply roll over... incite rage.

No, this probably won't go well for the Youma.

It doesn't know that yet.

"Not bothering me??? You shouldn't even own one of those! Those are a protected species!!!!" Responds the person to Coco Kiumi, frowning deeply. Even as Coco tried to disengage, they followed after, continuing to complain and gripe at her.

Luckily they probably wouldn't remember this later, and they lose sight of Coco just long enough for that henshin, leaving the person confused, turning away and grumbling, muttering to themselves as they rejoin the crowd.

Songs of a nostalgic, purifying melody... purifying magic spreading through the area.

The Youma stops flitting around, instead darting behind the band and landing on the singer's shoulder, joyous music being countered by a ragged, angry, pained song deep from a heart artificially injured, sending waves of even stronger energy over the crowd -- even as those closest to Coco seem to snap out of it, mostly starting to run for those locked exits.

Hotaru Tomoe has posed:
Hotaru Tomoe had been at home when suddenly... in the most annoyed, exhausted, 'I am so done with this crud' voice imaginable...

<< Dark energy... detected... I assume-- >>

"Eeeeee! Engage!"

Which was why, as the youma reveals itself, suddenly a voice calls from on high. "Guardian to the great PLANET of Pluto, Sailor Charon has arrived!" Yes, Sailor Charon was here. On the walkways up above. "To share the ultimate truth! Pluto is still a planet and justice SHALL strike you down for your spreading of conflict!"

And it was likely utterly meaningless, because over the singing of Coco, the yelling, the arguing, the music, and the fact she was high up? It was likely nobody even heard her anyway!

And hopefully nobody noticed the window she'd had to break to get in but THAT didn't really matter because she was here to SAVE people, and breaking a few windows was sometimes the price of JUSTICE!

Sugata Shindo has posed:
"Transform and help you deal with something that can fly, or keep recording this infantile group that Wako can already outperform... however will I choose."

The people behind them are still yelling, and a bird-like, butterfly-like creature has solidified, flapping over the crowd. Sugata stands, and, like Takuto, henshins right there, before Godoka and everyone.

"Apprivoiser!"

Light, blue and white and gold, sparkles that solidify into a military style coat, cravat, and assorted accessories, and a gloved fist that taps against Ginga Kingu's chest, before a pure white sword of energy crystalizes into his hands.

"Star Swordo! Diamant!"

No King's Pillar here, not with so many civilians, so the Star Sword is his best offensive option.

"Too bad we're not in Zero Time," he notes to Takuto, "You could have just thrown me."

Takuto Tsunashi has posed:
"Throwing you is always a good time," Takuto agrees, and then he gets this look on his face--

--a look that Sugata's seen before, a deep anger welling up from somewhere within the otherwise radiant boy, settling into something hard on his face.

But it's--

"Sugata," he says in a voice that's low, but that carries-- no honorific, like he's mad at Sugata of all people, they've been through this already, this is nonsense, this is nonsense. "Sugata-kun," he says, hovering lower for a second and reaching out to touch Ginga Kingu's arm; his voice is slightly shaken. "Don't let it."

Then he rises through the air, bursting up through, up above the crowd, and he turns to face the youma before he forgets why he apprivoised in the first place.

And the thing is on the singer. Dammit.

"Okay, I'll be right back," he says and unceremoniously turns to rocket towards the stage over the heads of the audience, going straight for the lead singer! He is like a cat after a moth, NOTHING WILL STOP HIM.

Coco Kiumi has posed:
Coco would have just told them to mind their own business and that she is allowed to keep her, Cora is her companion, she is not letting anybody get funny ideas about her. Recollecting herself with the clear signs of dark energy, she has reminded herself they weren't in control of their thoughts and the sooner she dark energy stop the better.

Her attention is briefly caught when Hotaru announces herself as Sailor Charon. "Charon? I though...", she briefly says in confusion. That is over quickly though, since this is actually the third lunar Sailor she is meeting. Reserving the tenacious girl a smile, she lets her attention goes back towards the song. There is something precious about the fact Pluto has somebody defending her planetary status.

While Coco is busy singing and pushing back against the dark energy, Cora notices the youma fluttering around and landing onto one of Walpurgis Wich's shoulder. The otter jumps and gets on her hind legs at noticing the particularly hideous youma. <<I see it, the youma!", she announces telepathically to Coco, scurrying off the Live Stage to get onto the other stage.

<<Don't confront it!>> comes the mermaid's late response, the song almost breaking as the worries for her mascot. Because Cora has jumped towards the youma, seeking to administer a proper headbutt.

Melona Mizu has posed:
Don't put yourself down, Sailor Charon! Nothing is meaningless! The voice of Youth piercing through the air and ... possibly getting a bit lost in the music, sure, but it was still heard! Probably! ...Not by the Youma though, the Youma is right by a bunch of speakers that are emitting its dark song, and it is probably half-deaf because of it.

Also a little distracted by Coco and the two transforming Star Drivers right in front of it. This is probably something that it will regret of course.

Not noticing an enemy is a very fatal mistake! Which is why its birtterfly head is doing that rapid twitch-turn that birds do to look at everything around them, keeping an eye on the whole crowd. But like many things...

It doesn't think to look up.

Especially not as Ginga Kingu appears right in front of it, causing a piercing caw of discontent from the Youma.

A caw of discontent that turns into surprise as, rather suddenly, Ginga Bishounen was /rocketing towards it/. A quick shift from that surprised noise to a chattering, each one seeming to cause a wave of dark energy as it focuses on Ginga Bishounen, wave after wave of dark energy washing towards Ginga Bishounen -- cut short, rather suddenly.

Distracted by the approach and counter-attack to deter Ginga Bishounen, there is, rather suddenly, an otter headbutting the youma. Knocking it right off of that singer's shoulder with a surprised squawk, clawed feet flailing a moment.

Before attempting to find purchase on Cora, herself. The bird darting around the singer as that angry rocket of Ginga Bishounen comes after it. On the upside, that focus has ended, so those dark thoughts might be disrupted by his magic!

If it had gotten ahold of Cora, as it flew away from Ginga Bishounen, it would drop that otter. Right over the crowd. Attempting to distract him with something else, possibly more precious, to target with his flight.

Regardless, it would immediately take an upturned flight, nearly running straight into Sailor Charon -- which causes a brief flap and redirect to get above the gathered mahou and crowd... and turn down, unleashing a piercing screech towards them. Another wave of dark energy launched with that screech to make its sounds even worse! Temporarily deafening civilians, and probably leaving most of the mahou with ringing, pained ears.

...Pearl Voice's song, though...

It isn't reaching the civilians anymore. At least not in its whole form.

Hotaru Tomoe has posed:
Sailor Charon watched from her vantage point from on high. There was... so much cool stuff going on down below. She needed to make sure HER attack was cool. Also, the ear-worm lady was here! That was nice, she used to sometimes hum it around Takashi when he was getting into a tizzy and it was amusing to watch him just lock up so suddenly.

Ohhhh, and it was that nice boy who helped her make Takashi's robot! She liked him, he was a sweety.

But then the bird was coming RIGHT AT HER! GAH! She leaped into the air, turning in mid air so she landed, feet first on the roof upsidedown (screw you, physics, I've got magic!)

Not below it at all, it allowed her to easily move beyond the range of the screech... And then launch herself off the roof and bring her energy keyglaive down AT the bird! "It's time to CLIP yours wings! Because removing things from their positions can have negative consequences for the things removed and things they are removed from, like trying to remove Pluto from the planets!"

Sugata Shindo has posed:
It's a look Sugata's seen before, not familiar because he's only rarely provoked it a few times, but - it's the look of Takuto being genuinely angry, his happy facade - happy outlook - cracked in favor of genuine anger and then - then he's still, as Takuto reaches for his arms.

The words ring in the air, between them. Don't let it.

Hard eyes fix on the youma. Don't let it indeed, as he tightens his fist around Diamant.

And then there's a screech, ear-splitting, not the kind of thing he could counter because it's a sound, and Sugata snarls as it flies around, before deciding, you know what?

He can throw things too.

"Star Crash!"

And he just. Throws Diamant at the youma, like a streak of light in the sky, a bolt of energy aimed for it's heart.

He'll catch it before it falls and hits someone in the crowd, don't worry about it.

The civilians are still there, deafened, maddened, panicked, but Sugata's not particularly concerned, when the real threat is here. ...though there is one thing.

"Pluto isn't a planet, though?"

Takuto Tsunashi has posed:
'Star Crash,' that's a new one, and Takuto barely hears it; he shakes his head vigorously where he is above the singers, above the stage, and he veers off to follow that damn birderfly bat thing, stomping his own emotions in favor of action! The two of them are one down, and both the excessive number of civilians present and the lack of the third leg of their tripod of might are messing with Takuto.

It's fine though.

Don't worry about it.

He sees Cora get dropped into the crowd as Sugata lets Diamant loose, and dives to scoop up the otter before it even falls on anyone's head, nevermind gets trampled. "Here, buddy, hang on tight, okay?" he calls out to Cora, slinging her up onto his shoulders and then--

Slamming his fists together in front of him, arms extended! "Tiny Tau Galaxy Beam!" he yells, and out lances a fist-sized beam of pure concussive force, enough to knock a jerk through a wall-- aimed at that beleaguered youma, but at an angle where it won't get Diamant or Sailor Charon's glaive if it misses.

Coco Kiumi has posed:
Coco would find it quite flattering even with that nickname if she knew that Charon hummed her song and thought it nice, and she would be actually willing to take the Sailor under her wing if she intended to actually take that up as a hobby if it would actually help with enjoying the songs.

That's not really what she is focused on though as 1) everyone gets assaulted by a deafening sound wave of dark energy and Cora being in danger. The otter instinctively squeals when the youma grabs her in retaliation for the headbutt and starts carrying her off who knows where as she squirms and tries to bite at the talons in an effort to free herself. And she is then dropped into the crowd to be saved by none other than the Ginga Bishounen, and the yellow mermaid smiles and waves at him in thanks.

At the same time, Coco hasn't really given up on singing her purifying song. Even if the civilians are out of reach, the youma itself isn't and the purification might make it feel hurt. Maybe just as much as her ears hurt too even if the dark wave hasn't deafened her. Can she turn back the clock to before it happened? She feels a headache slowly forming as things stand.

Melona Mizu has posed:
A back attack from the Senshi it hadn't noticed much before?! Who could have expected this?! Unexpected, sudden attacks with an energy keyglaive, does, in fact, strike the Youma! Knicking it right ouf of the air and flying down as Sailor Charon makes justice speech about Pluto!

... There's a confused squawk from the bird, that turns into a pained one, as it's knocked straight down into ... STAR CRASH!

A streak of light striking right into the Youma's form, cutting through it as Ginga Kingu catches the blade, as the Youma falls towards the crowd, flapping its wings to desperately attempt to recover its 'balance' again in the air.

An act which Ginga Bishounen 'helps' after catching the thankfully-largely-unharmed otter which had been scratching and biting at the Youma! ...And by 'helps', of course, it's more accurately to say 'knocks out of the air completely'. Against a wall.

There was a crack that could either be the sound of the youma or the wall. It's not obvious. Waves of that purifying energy wash over the Youma, which seems to falter half a moment as it falls off of the wall, seemingly just... falling towards the ground in a freefall.

And then the long sound of an inhale can be heard, the dark energy that had been spreading through the crowd being drawn back into the bitterfly.

Civilians passing out. As the bird is suddenly on its feet again, and growing larger... larger... until it's roughly a cow-sized bird instead of a tiny one. Multifaceted bird eyes being turned with sudden jerks of its head as it takes stock of where the mahou all were again.

And then wrapping its wings around itself in a large, outward flap, launching dark energy laced feathers out towards each of the present Mahou as it screeches once more!

After that attack, it seemed to lose size, though. Its own energy seeming to suddenly deminish.

As outside, Misery Melon holds a small device that was drawing in the energy generated by that youma. A split egg with rotating parts in the middle, drawing in the energy into the center to return to Obsidian. The youma would be weakened, and probably die soon.

But that was fine.

It served its purpose already.

"Tch... more people showed up than expected." Mutters the small Puella.

Hotaru Tomoe has posed:
Sailor Charon smirked, spinning her glaive and--

Wait, no. "EEEK!" she shrieked, flailing for a minute as she realized, well, striking like that? It required one to 'fall'. And so while she did hit the youma, she was also falling, now. And-- "Oh, wait."

And she landed, bending her knees and... "I'm okay!" Right, magical girl. Fifty feet drops were safe! 'Terminal velocity' only exists for normal people!

Sadly, the bird boy wasn't here... but you know who was? Charon's eyes GLEAMED! "Hey! Yellow Pearl Voice? Can you summon a stage for me to ride and then THROW me at the--"

Only for one of the feathers to strike her in the chest. Her eyes went wide and she toppled backwards, rolling a few feet and dropping her glave, sending it scattering along the ground while she just laid there, clutching her chest.

O-owie...

Sugata Shindo has posed:
"King's Counter!"

A wall of pale blue-white light appears before Ginga Kingu - the scream, he might not have been able to block, but these dark energy feathers?

These, he can block, and does - the feathers strike at the wall of light, causing it to bulge outwards... only for it to snap back to a perfectly straight wall, the feathers launched back to their originator, now crackling with blue-white energy.

Takuto Tsunashi has posed:
The pressure is off, which is wonderful -- the sound is still terrible, and now there are big sharp dark energy feathers shooting at them!! BUT... the mental and spiritual pressure to be bitter and angry is off, and Takuto's bounceback from that is truly bright. (And so is the Ginga Kingu Bouncu Backu, which he will never stop calling that in his head.)

With an otter on his shoulders, hovering there in midair in his blue and white nimbus with his coat's skirt flaring out behind him, the Ginga Bishounen SLAMS his right fist into his chest and calls out:

"Star Swordo... EMERAUDE!"

And he pulls out a bright green sword of crackling light. Then he slams his left fist into his chest and calls out:

"Star Swordo... SAPHIR!"

And he pulls out a bright blue sword of crackling light. And then his EYES GLEAM.

Charging forward in midair right through Sugata's shield, chasing those feathers back, dual wielding green and blue blades of pure destructive light, Takuto yells out his attack as the star swords arc through the air and make the afterimage of a giant X in front and back of the youma--

"GALACTIC CROSS SLASH!"

Coco Kiumi has posed:
With the feathers being infused with dark energy and launched as missiles, Coco has to trust that Cora will be able to stay safe onto Ginga Bishounen's shoulder, despite the current chaos with the bird having gone completely on the offensive. For her part, her song coats the Live Stage in a repelling effect, an outward push that ideally stops the feather arrows there.

Coco raises her arm up high and the bracelet on its wrist releases a gentle white light as a halo of yellow light descends, unlocking the everpresent current of hope that is Aqua Regina's gift.

"The Sound of the Bell of Hope ~Love Goes On~: Pichi Pichi Voice, Live Start! The mermaid princess sing of the story shimmering beyond the seven seas that leads all lives to paradise, of the lute's melody that on the beach at dawn reawakens the memory of that hometown's sweet lullaby, giving assurance than even when the sea is stormy, bonds and heartbeat will still be conveyed.

That song promises that before long, the sadness of the seven countries will become a song and cross the seven seas, becoming love by the time the large rainbow fades away, at the end of the dreams an overflowing rain of happiness.

Cora meanwhile has rubbed her body against Takuto's neck to show him her appreciation for the timely rescue. She is certainly fine.

Melona Mizu has posed:
Charon falls and goes down?! Huh. On the up/downside, that means she's no longer one of the main targets of the bitterfly, as she's on the ground and holding her chest and thus not a threat.

As opposed to Ginga Kingu, which was launching its own feathers back at it! Being as large as it is, the bird has a downside; dodging the return attack is much harder to do, even as it lifts back into the air to attempt to, the feathers cut through its side and a few stick back into it. Which looks ... rather odd, blue-white feathers stuck in the bird at odd angles from where it should be.

Not that this visual is very visible for long, as Ginga Bishounen is rocketing towards the youma again! ... There might be a sense of Deja Vu as the Youma finds this sword-wielding person leaping towards it once more! ... ... And then is cut with a giant X, an afterimage lingering on it.

As a song of hope, Love Goes On begins to ring through the area, restoring the joy and hope to everyone around them! Waves of healing, purifying magic washing over it. That afterimage seeming to grow brighter, and brighter, before...

Crack.

The bird... begins to crack. Crumbling. And then crashing down in on itself in a crash of dust and darkness! ... Not quite an explosion.

But at least it's over.

Meanwhile, Misery Melon was leaving rather quickly.

Why do so many people's abilities evoke feelings of belonging and home. Ugh.

It makes her heart ache.

But... in the wake of that collapse of the youma, it seemed everything was peaceful and calm, now.

Hotaru Tomoe has posed:
Sailor Charon groaned, looking up. She... was alive? Oh. OHHHHH. From her vantage point she got to see everyone's awesome attacks! As the youma collapsed, she held out her hand and her glaive came to her hand, with which she... climbed up, slowly. "That was AMAZING!" she called out, giving a little giggle. "I can't wait to tell my mentor I got to fight with all of you! Err, I mean. Ahem. Hello, my fellow protectors of justice! I am Sailor Charon, protector and soldier of Sailor Pluto, who IS a planet!" She then gave a pointed glare at Kingu. "In every way that matters!"

"And if anyone wants to argue this, they are more than welcome to submit a complaint into Pluto's complaint box!" Then looked to the others. "Thank you for assisting in all of these acts of protecting the hearts and minds of the innocent! Now, I must be..." Pause. "... Should... we break open the doors so people can leave?"

Sugata Shindo has posed:
The youma dies. Thechaos dies too, leaving the singing warrior in the stage bubble, Takuto with an otter, and...

"Does it make her weaker, if she isn't a planet?" It's a genuine question, one born of curiosity. Sure, Sailor Mars is, indeed, the guardian of a planet, but Charon is a moon in an of itself, so, surely it can't be that being a planet is a requirement for being a Sailor.

"Ginga Kingu, with Ginga Bishounen, sans Ginga Otome, who was lucky enough to miss this one."

He considers the question, looking at the blocked doors. "Well, we've got to leave somehow. Might as well, right?"

Coco Kiumi has posed:
The battle is over when the Youma cracks and crumbles. There is a second of worry when it seems it is going to explode, but then it just crashes down on itself. 'Good, we were spared that', Coco thinks relieved, not wanting to imagine the aftermath of that situation. They may have been able to take it mostly, but everyone else not at all.

No use thinking about what could have gone wrong, though. Letting the Live Stage dissolve, Coco tries to ignore the headache that that cacophony of dark energy gave her and she walks towards Ginga Bishounen, reaching out to pet Cora as she tells him "Thank you for saving her, I can't express how glad I am for it", she says, before letting the otter jump in her arms. "You did great there. Everything alright?" she inquires.

Speaking of people being alright, Charon helps herself get up with her glaive and she reacts with cheer towards their presence here. "It has been very nice to fight alongside, Sailor Charon, and I am glad to see you are recovering quickly. If you would like it, I can sing you a song. It will help in reducing the aches", Coco offers with a soft smile.

Looking towards the door when Hotaru mentions them, Coco considers the proposal. "The situation is calm, so we could just try to open them the normal way", she suggests.

Takuto Tsunashi has posed:
The Ginga Bishounen is happy to release Cora to Coco, and scritches the otter on her way over to her owner. And then he turns to Sailor Charon. "Isn't Sailor Pluto a person, not a planet, anyway?" Takuto asks uncertainly, landing and letting his swords dissipate into sparkles. His boots thunk on the floor, and then he blinks. "Oh, word," he says, and shoulder-slams one of the doors open, whether or not he actually needs to.

Then he slings an arm around the Ginga Kingu and beams. "Good date after all. Even if it tried to make me pick a fight with you."
