Focus

The Mermaid Princesses' power come from their pearls, through which they are born should the pearl be currently unconnected to a mermaid princess (that is to typically say, should the mermaid princess have died). The pearls gift them their melodious singing voice, while the songs are a gift of Aqua Regina, the goddess of the seas. Coco's power comes from the Yellow Pearl. The pearls are a great power source for any that can lie their hands on them, but in the hands of their rightful owners, they can turn into a magical microphone called E-pitch, increasing the reach and potency of her voice, as well as enable Idol transformations.

Style

As Yellow Pearl Voice, Coco wears a short golden yellow dress with a sleeveless high-neck halter top and a short yellow pleated skirt. The two are sections separated by an orange band that twirls downwards at the front.

Two yellow-orange ruffles run parallel to each other towards the skirt on the sides of the blouse, which is also accessorized with a yellow-orange bow on the back. This form includes a matching pair of pale yellow high heel boots and light yellow gloves with two layers of pale yellow cuffs for both pairs.

At her right wrist and on her ankles she wears bracelets with orange beads, and on her left wrist she is wearing a bracelet with a yellow band and a white dial with a yellow circle on top, small yellow beads circling it. An E-Pitch Microphone is tightly held in Coco's right hand, the Yellow Pearl safely nestled on the center of its head.

On her neck Coco wears a yellow seashell locket decorated with pale yellow wings.

Powers

Human transformation

They can adopt a human form, however putting water on their shell lockets or pearls dispels this form for a time.

Mermaid transformation

They can go back to their mermaid form.

Idol transformation

All mermaid princesses employ a wide array of songs to repel demons, dispel hypnosis, purify evil from the heart of people, heal and act as a balm against negative feelings and weariness. They have two stages of transformation, depending on the strength they need to put into her songs.

Cold resistance

In mermaid form, they can swim in even the coldest waters with no ill effects. This doesn't apply to cold caused by magic.

Sealife communication

Mermaids can communicate with sea animals and employ them as messengers.

Live Stage

A sphere of light that provides a zone safe from environmental effects, even allowing for levitation.

Miscellaneous

- Enhanced physical prowess as Yellow Pearl Voice, purifying/revitalising song - duplicating the Live Stage platforms across the battlefield as means for elevated strategies for allies' benefits via song - being able to throw the Live Stage via song - making the Live Stage repel unapproved entry or exit via song - being able to induce a mild paralysing effect through the Live Stage via song.

Healing

As the living alter ego of the Yellow Pearl, Coco can temporarily part with it to completely heal someone she deeply loves, but doing so brings her misfortune. This ability may only be used in a specific plot with staff approval.

Yellow Corridor

An inferior version of the Orange Pearl's Dream Corridor. Like it, it uses the world of dreams as a travel medium, but can only reach the South Pacific Kingdom. It also allows a return to the exact spot where it was first opened.
