(PHONE) Jadeite texts: The mighty hunter at work, I see.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: A truly mighter hunter. Hopefully today is a better day.

(PHONE) Jadeite texts: I've not yet solved entropy, nor discovered why reality shows exist, but yes, otherwise, a better day.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: The reality shows that just follow drama around are absolutely dumb. The baking competition shows are pretty awesome.

(PHONE) Jadeite texts: I admit to having enjoyed the Halloween-themed ones.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: And the 'is it cake'.. that one was /amazing/. Have you seen it?

(PHONE) Jadeite texts: I have not. I don't have much time for television these days fortunately. Study, study, study. Work, work, work. Only these, forever and ever. And sometimes texting.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: I think I've found one of the reasons you're stressed and exhausted. I'm just /saying/. You'll probably be better at work AND school if you pause to take a breath and watch a dumb tv show now and then.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: And if you turn the dubbing off, you can call it english studying. (kinda)

(PHONE) Jadeite texts: English is my native tongue.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: Okay, then turn ON the dub and call it Japanese homework. Although your Japanese is excellent, but mostly I'm just trying to trick you into relaxing with a dumb show once in a while.

(PHONE) Jadeite texts: I will consider letting it play in the background while I work, as a compromise.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: It's a start at least. Less idea if you work in an office, awesome if you work from home.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: But don't think I won't harass you to come out for coffee periodically, even if you turn me down every time.

(PHONE) Jadeite texts: Your threat is noted.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: I should see if you drink coffee. Do you?

(PHONE) Jadeite texts: Indeed. Also blood, the souls of the innocent, and capitalism juice. The usual nonsense one is given by a corporate father with Aspirations for his son. Coffee is a nice change though, I'll give you that.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: I find capitalism juice gives me acid reflux.

(PHONE) Jadeite texts: It gives ACID REFLUX acid reflux.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: I'm a bad kid. I didn't listen to nonsense. (Or I'm trying.)

(PHONE) Jadeite texts: Nonsense?

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: Corporate nonsense from my mother. She's still working on it. I took art as an elective.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: Less corporate. More business. NOt quite the same, as I think on it.

(PHONE) Jadeite texts: Ahhh... A wise choice. Not one available to me, but a wise one nonetheless.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: I'm not out of school and in a life that isn't business yet, the congratulations feel premature. I'm mostly setting myself up to starve to death as an adult.

(PHONE) Jadeite texts: I will have your headstone engraved to mark your success, just incase

(PHONE) Jadeite texts: Here lies Miss Naru Osaka; She lived as she died: Hungry.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: Ha! Thank goodness I don't eat much. It will help a career in art.

(PHONE) Jadeite texts: I'm not sure if edible paint would be a brilliant synergy or an awful one.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: I mean, depending on the paint.. a lot of it is non-toxic at least. Not so much in oils, but I dont work in oils generally. I'm not sure on the nutrition level going on in a tube of gouache

(PHONE) Jadeite texts: My concern was more, 'Yes, it can double as food if-needed, but also it's the stuff you need to use to make money to buy food and/or more paint with.' The food need not be paint.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: Currently I'm trying to focus on textile art. I keep changing focus in my art. Clearly I haven't found what's working. Too much flux and change and weird, but fabric is even less awesome for noshing than paint.

(PHONE) Jadeite texts: I've much less familiarity with textiles. I understand there are edible clothing items but that is a topic I try to learn as little about as possible and to discuss even less. I wish you luck though.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: I so do not know you well enough for that conversation. :)

(PHONE) Jadeite texts: I have blanked my mind of it.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: Do you feel refreshed a little from silly text messages and a dumb kitty video?

(PHONE) Jadeite texts: I am about to enter a meeting, and I am twelve percent recharged for it, so yes. Thank you very much.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: And where can I meet you tomorrow to drop off your text books? (or later)

(PHONE) Jadeite texts: Oh. Yes, that is a thing, isn't it? I'd completely forgotten. Do you know Darien Shields? I think he and the Usagi you mentioned might be acquainted now that I have the mental bandwidth to remember past conversations. If you see your friend around, just ask her to drop them off at Darien's dorm. I'll pick them up when I'm done with whatever the hell this meeting is about. Or, if you don't wish to entertain my need to overcomplicate everything, just, I don't know. You mentioned coffee, maybe that one cafe at the plaza will do.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: I'll see if you are free for coffee, and if not in a timely manner, then I'll inflict 'em on Darien. Have fun (?) in your meeting!

(PHONE) Jadeite texts: As another acquaintance of mine likes to say, 'Misery is fun leaving the body.' So, we'll see. Thank you.
