(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: i can't believe hinoiri-chan brought up my mom for why she thinks i'm you

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: but also i can't?? believe??? i didn't think of it first???

(PHONE) Chiyo Sakai texts: You're going to have to back up there and explain to me how that is. We have similar hair styles?

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: well, sometimes, but! my mama's hair is purple and wavy too

(PHONE) Chiyo Sakai texts: I mean I've seen others with purple hair, but the curl is kind of noticable. Grandma's hair was similar when she was younger I'm told but it was all white and grey since I'd known her.

(PHONE) Chiyo Sakai texts: I guess that would explain why she thinks I'm you though if she's seen your mother.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: yeah, she met my mama at new years - i invited a bunch of our friends with like, no family's to come and spend it with us. new years in the dorms would be way too sad

(PHONE) Chiyo Sakai texts: Oh that's sweet! I guess we just have to try to keep her from blurting our uh, identities out loud from now on. Even if it's wrong, if someone knows we're magical girls that could get dangerous.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: it was a lot of fun! a lot of noise and laughter in our house... and yeah, she's usually pretty good about that - though when she thought koji-kun was mamochan i about died!

(PHONE) Chiyo Sakai texts: OH my god me too! Poor Koji-kun, we already went through the fake dating thing and ugh now this. I'm not going to drag him into similar misunderstandings again.

(PHONE) Chiyo Sakai texts: We're just really good friends at this point. I think he likes someone too.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: first koji-kun, then that other boy you know - people just keep thinking anyone but tuxedo-kun is mamochan

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: oh?! he liiiiikes someone?

(PHONE) Chiyo Sakai texts: I don't know for sure yet just a hunch.

(PHONE) Chiyo Sakai texts: Either that or he was just avoiding the conversation. Makoto-chan and I were talking about things and he left at that point to get for Ojiisan and us.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: he does kind of wander away sometimes... like those cats he feeds sometimes! just wandering off when he wants.

(PHONE) Chiyo Sakai texts: Yeah, he does, but he's been hanging around the shop more lately since Ojiisan had been 'sick.' He was really worried, too. We helped him out once and he's been kind of close with Ojiisan since.

(PHONE) Chiyo Sakai texts: Probably! He already helps out a bit by making sure the tea station is always full. And he brought Ojiisan and me some karaage when we were too busy to leave. He even got some for Mako-chan!

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: karaage is sooo good. koji-kun is so sweet. he buys snacks a lot. for me. and other people! and i buy snacks too!

(PHONE) Chiyo Sakai texts: I noticed! Did you remember to pay him back for ramen? I made sure to but he just keeps refusing.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: i'm gonna ask mamochan to dump it in his backpack or something

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: that way he can't refuse!

(PHONE) Chiyo Sakai texts: They're roommates aren't they? You can just have him give it to him I'm sure.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: they are roommates, but you really think koji-kun would take stuff from mamochan if he won't from us? i dont buy it.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: plus i think mamochan would like being my super secret spy

(PHONE) Chiyo Sakai texts: I think Mamoru-kun likes being your anything. He does like pranks though, so maybe he could get some amusement out of it.

(PHONE) Chiyo Sakai texts: He came over the other week with Kazuo-kun to help fold boxes to prepare for next months sales. Maybe I can talk Ojiisan into teaching him some recipes so he's a good house husband for you.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: ojisan can teach him recipes, but i'm gonna be the housewife between us! mamochan has like, ambitions and stuff.

(PHONE) Chiyo Sakai texts: ... So you can cook?

(PHONE) Chiyo Sakai texts: Okay, just remember you can't snack on things until *after* they're finished being made.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: not even to test if thy're good? ToT

(PHONE) Chiyo Sakai texts: A pinch no bigger than a marble to taste test if needed. Otherwise you remove ingredients that will throw off the balance.
