Profile

Victoria "Tori" Morte has been able to see ghosts for as long as she can remember. On her ninth birthday, the being called 'Mneme' decided she was worthy and granted her the power to protect the memories of the dead and the living against dark forces, granting her the powers of a Memoriate. By striking bonds with both ghosts and the living, Tori can tap into the power of memories and gain the strength to protect the world from the evil Cthonians.

Tori's upbringing has resulted in her being somewhat blase about ghosts and other horrific things, since her parents back home in England are a mortician and a surgeon. Still, she's amazed by magic, and is a huge fan of magical girls - she's over the moon that she gets to be one herself! By speaking the words 'Memento Mori' while touching a willing ghost, she can gain strength, speed, and ghostly powers along with a cute, frilly dress. And if she manages to form strong bonds with the living, the words 'Memento Vivere' will allow her to tap into the power of those memories, as well.
