It was a dark and stormy night, Perfectly fitting for a scary Halloween. Many of the people of Tokyo had taken shelter at the various shelters. A number of the kids present are dressed up for Halloween despite the chaos just outside the doors. A few people are even giving candy to the kids so they don’t miss out on the holiday. Among the people present there, Seiko Akai happens to be helping out. Now Seiko knew about Walpurgisnacht. She had heard the rumors. She hoped that was all they were. Sadly as the storm worsened that was becoming less and less likely.
Initially Seiko was going to give out candy And that is just what she did for a good hour. That lasted until she looked outside. She couldn’t see the fight but she could see colored light flashing. It was enough to tell her that there was indeed a fight going on. Walpurgisnacht was in town and the battle was raging. “I should be out there.” Seiko explained to Hoshi.
“You can’t. You’re not ready for anything like this, Seiko-chan! We gotta do what we can do from here.” Hoshi responded to her bearer. The Chara looked around and could see the fear in the eyes of not just the children but the adults too. It hurt to see and she couldn’t help but feel for the people present. “Look at them Seiko-chan. They are terrified! We have to help them. They are fueling Walpurgisnacht’s power and they don’t even know it. We’ve got to encourage them. You can do it! You’re a Star, Seiko-chan! You can make a difference right now and change the world for the people here and weaken the enemy without ever transforming!”
Seiko blinked and looked around at the people present. How could she not have seen it before? Her heart broke as she saw just how terrified the people at the shelter were. Quietly she walked up to a microphone. Picking it up, a few adults approached her to chastise her. They told her to not play with the microphone. She shook her head. “No. I’m going to sing! People here need to be cheered up. Look around!” She explained to the adults who did what she said. Looking at each other they nodded and backed away. With that she raised the mic to her lips and began to sing.
"When the storms of life are raging, When the night is wet and cold When hope seems like it's fading, When darkness takes ahold
Remember you are not alone. Remember you are strong. Remember you are not alone. This far you’ve come along.
You are a beacon of Love, A Bastion of hope On the wings of a dove, You can sail above the slope
Remember you are not alone. Your friends are with you. Remember you are not alone. Together you’ll get through.
No matter how violent the storm, No matter how dark the night The love inside is always warm, Let your light shine bright!
Remember you are not alone. The choice is held within your heart To surrender to the dark unknown, Or shine the light your friends impart"
