Despite the fact that most of the Magical Girl Warriors tend to run in the late middle school to early highschool age, Magical Girl has a history of the occasional girl that's slightly younger than her peers; Sailor Chibi-Moon, Shiny Luminous, Nagisa Momoe, Sakura Kinomoto, and others. This doesn't hamper their ability to contribute to the team in any way, however. Being young is in many cases a character trait, but shouldn't consistently be a character's only defined, mentioned trait by others.

While it might be feel like it makes sense for your character to push back against the inclusion of these younger characters in the overall battle between good and evil, there's not a huge difference in a few years as far as being ready to save (or destroy) the world - this responsibility is over the heads of pretty much all of our characters!

Especially on a MUSH where someone's eventual participation is not in any actual doubt, please do not have your heroic character urge or suggest non-participation of a character based on their age, unless the scene is related to not doing that being a lesson they're about to learn. Underestimating people based on their age (and then getting shown up for it) is villain territory in this genre, whether that's 'you're just some kid' or 'you can't possibly help'. It's just not very sparkle motion!
