Synopsis:	Yaling receives a warm welcome upon entering the school, and Cho and Yaling hit it off well.

Yaling Yao has posed:
This is the start of her freedom! Finished are the days of mostly being confined to her own home and being homeschooled. Now she is bursting with energy and ready to mingle with her peers!

These are the thoughts of the girl that is approaching her new school, Radiant Heart academy, accompanied by two suitcases and a beaming smile on her face. Overall a completely normal girl one wouldn't glance at twice if it weren't for the snake currently nestled around her neck, peacefully resting against the warmth that comes from the girl, as reptiles are wont to.

She admittedly isn't sure of where the dorm is located, but she clearly sees the main building, so she can just ask for directions there. And so Yaling Yao being her entry into Radiant Heart with a quick pace.

Cho Konishi has posed:
Cho Konishi had seen that look many, many times. That 'I just got off the train/bus/parents car and now I am FREE! I can do whatever I want, BE whoever I want!' The joys of a boarding school, right?

Not that she could blame them, if anyone understood 'being herself' and the allure it had... Welllll... It was her.

And, as a member of the student council, she took her duties of helping new recruits in the school get settled VERY seriously. Fortunately for her, Wuwu was out and about, hopefully not commiting any felonies or at least none that could be tracked back to her, and that meant she was free to meet the new girl!

... Okay, that and the fact she didn't recognize the girl at all. Kind of... helped her realize. She, generally, did a good job of being able to recognize people in her grade and she had no idea who this girl was.

"Hello!" she called out, raising a hand and lightly jogging to her. "Moving in? Need a hand?" she asked, flashing a friendly smile. "I'm Cho Konishi, from the student council, Grade 9," she said, identifying herself.

Yaling Yao has posed:
The white snake around Yaling's neck raises her head when she sees Cho approaching, observing the girl with her clear blue eyes before putting her head down to rest once more. Meanwhile Yaling, who has likewise observed the slightly shorter girl, gives her a wave!

Not even three seconds in and she has already met someone friendly! Granted, she is from the student council, but she is clearly not doing it out of a mere obligation, but out of something she deeply believes in and regardless, her gesture is clearly appreciated and the pinkette is clearly giving it her all.

"Hello, Konishi-san. I am Yaling Yao, I am in fact moving in and have been assigned to the 9th grade too!", Yaling introduced herself, taking and shaking Cho's with enthusiasm. Unless Cho dodges it.

"I could actually use a hand, Konishi-san", Yaling explains, thankful for the offer. "I am looking for the dorm building so I can drop my suitcases in my own room. Could you please point me to the Dorm Building? I need to drop my suitcases then and after that run right after for the last preparatives before I begin my life here."

Cho Konishi has posed:
Cho Konishi gave a small nod. "Sure, I can show you. Want me to carry one of your--" She took the hand and WOW that was a handshake! It shook her whole body, making her squeak a little. Cho... was not exactly the most stable girl (ha), but she didn't seem put off by it. In fact, she chuckled, shaking back.

"Want me to carry one of your bags?" she asked, once the shaking was done. "Sorry I didn't know you were coming today, I'd have made some peach muffins or something. So uhhhh... is... is that snake real?" Cho asked. "Is it friendly? I've seen a few interesting pets here, but I don't think I've seen anyone with a snake yet. That's pretty cool."

"I have a helper monkey, so uhhh... I know what it's like to have a unique pet. Heh. I really thought more people here would. My roommate kind of has a pet otter."

Yaling Yao has posed:
After Yaling gives Cho her hand back, she registers the offer of the pinkette with a smile. "Thank you, Konishi-san, you are very kind. Is this one good?" she says, offering Cho one of the suitcases. They are just about the same size anyway, so it doesn't really matter which one Cho gets. Although judging by the noise and weight, it feels like the one Cho receives is keeping safe one big object accompanied by several smaller ones.

Yaling gives her snake a pet when Cho addresses her. "Yes, she is real! Her name is BaiBai and she is actually very placid and friendly. She doesn't even bat an eye around strangers, you can pet her if you want", the green-haired girl offers.

"Oh, you have a monkey, and a roommate with an otter? That's nice!", Yaling comments pretty interested by the information. "How is it like living in that situation? Is your monkey nice, and does it get along with the otter?"

Cho Konishi has posed:
Cho Konishi gives a big grin to the other girl, taking the other suitcase with a light grunt. "Mmmmm. Welllll... if it's safe," she said before, nervously, reaching out to lightly pet the snake. Then, after a moment, she gave a content little sigh. "I don't think I've ever pet a snake before. Baibai? That's a cute name. My monkey goes by Wuwu and he... is not always nice. Like, he's not violent though," she said quickly. "He's just a bit of a trouble maker. Coco-chan's otter is a real sweety, though. I think the two of them get along well."

She started walking towards the direction of the dorms. "But yeah. It can be really pretty nice. There's all sorts here. A lot of cats, a few dogs, I think I saw one girl with a gopher, a few ferrets, a bunch of hamsters. This school is one of the few that's pretty lax about such things, so it's great. This your first boarding school, or done it before?"

Yaling Yao has posed:
BaiBai closes her eyes in a clear demonstration of appreciation when Cho gives her a light pet, emitting a not very audible hiss at the same time. She doesn't have any other reactions to Cho's hand that might worry the girl, not even small shakes.

After Cho has retracted her hand, BaiBai does a nodding gesture, as if she had just decided something important.She stays calmly in her own position until Cho makes the mention of Wuwu and describes his personality, at which point the white snake raises her head for a few seconds, but nothing else happens.

"That sounds like fun, you like working hard, right? That's why you don't mind too much in the end what your pet does." Yaling exclaims, having gotten the impression Cho was someone who liked to fix people's messes, hence the choice of pet and having gotten into the student council. The hardworking type that cannot not work. "I want to pet an otter! I have never met one, and it honestly seems like a nice idea."

"This is my first boarding school", Yaling replies. "I have studied at schools in the past, but most of my education was via homeschooling, so I am actually very excited to take part in it and meet everyone! What is your favourite aspect of this school, Konishi-san?"

Cho Konishi has posed:
Cho Konishi gave a light chuckle and her cheeks went a little red. "W-well, I mean... I don't know if... like it is the right word. Okay, admittedly, I am... sometimes... known to overdo it a bit.... a lot...." Cho said sheepishly, her cheeks burning with a little bit of shyness.

"And uhhh... something like that, I guess. Wuwu is just.... you know what it's like, right? A pet is just.... they add more to your life than they use, often. And he uses a lot of my energy but... I'm always happy to have him. But yes! Otters! Otters are AMAZING! Coco-chan is incredible with all kinds of animals. She's the kind of girl who could pick up a penguin she just met and they'd start cuddling her." Well, okay... yeah. But she wasn't going to mention the magic part of that.

"You homeschooled? Ohhhh, then this'll be a whole new experience, won't you? And.... hmmmm... I think... this place is just magical. You get to meet all kinds of amazing people. Like Hime-chan, Coco-chan, Iona-chan, Usagi-chan, Tadase-kun, and well. The list just goes on and on. You'll find the longer you're here the more amazing people you'll meet. The dorms are great for that, they're all kinds of meetings and stuff. And if you join any of the clubs, you'll meet even more. I bet you're excited to socialize, huh?"

Yaling Yao has posed:
"I see, I see", Yaling nods sagely at Cho! "If you like doing that, there is no shame to be found. Honestly, you have attended with joy, and that's important", she says, assuming Cho can actually self-regulate quite well.

"Well, I don't know, actually. This is the first time I encounter that kind of opinion. BaiBai is the only pet I have had, and with how placid she is, she feels like the one looking after me", Yaling shares with ease, even if in her case she isn't a troublemaker.

"And this Coco sounds like she is beloved by animals! I bet you enjoy having someone like her around, with all the different petting opportunies you get", Yaling imagines with an interested smirk.

And Cho gives her a list of amazing people to meet. She will actually need to find these people and chat with them. "Thank you, Konishi-san, I will definitely seek them out and then I will get to know them, because I can't wait to socialise with people, the more the better!" Yaling declares with direct interest in knowing everyone, almost as if she were trying to make up about lost time.

"I am glad I picked a room in the dorm, I want to meet my own roommate as soon as I can. And I definitely intend to join clubs. I am interested in gardening, volleyball and the band, and this is the first time I get to take part in them." Allowing the opportunity to mix to the students sounds like it will go a long way to help Yaling, and she can't wait for it.

"On that matter, I think I will drop these off to the dorms and take care of my clubs right away. If you want, you can come with me after you leave the suitcase, that way we chat!" Not just getting explanation, but deepening what they know about each other. She is going to fit well, Yaling is sure of that.
